While
our
next
question
comes
from
Maxine
in
timonium
and
she
asks
how
does
the
county
work
with
BGE
to
deal
with
trees
on
County
property
that
threatened
power
lines
for
thanks
Maxine,
you
know
I've
been
on
the
county
council
for
16
years
and
now
serving
as
County
Executive
and
it's
a
common
question
that
we
face,
especially
during
bad
weather.
What
what
happens
is
that
BGE
makes
use
of
county
rights
of
way
to
lay
there
or
string
their
power
lines,
and
a
lot
of
this
is
actually
easements
on
private
property
as
well.
A
So
when
there
is
a
storm
outage
or
when
there
are
problems
with
trees,
impacting
the
lines
its
be
genies,
responsibility
to
trim
the
trees
or
otherwise
make
the
repairs
that
impact
their
power
lines,
but
they
actually
have
the
authority
to
go
on
to
either
county
property
or
private
property
where
their
lines
cross.
If
you
do
have
any
problems
with
power
lines,
you
can
call
BGE
24
hours
a
day
at
410,
6850
123,
and
they
will
send
representative
out
to
inspect
the
problem.
