From YouTube: Learning Physics Through Movement
Description
Physics + Dance = STEAM
A
Art
meets
science,
science
meet
art
in
a
novel
approach
to
learning
a
dancer
and
a
science.
Professor
teach
students
in
the
principles
of
physics,
using
dance
to
learn
more
about
this
unique
program,
meet
Nicole,
Martin,
L
from
deep
vision,
dance
company
and
dr.
Svetlana,
Gladys
Sheva
from
Towson
University
welcome.
B
A
Fun
to
talk
to
you
both
because
you're
such
good
friends
but
I
got
to
tell
you
a
physics
person
and
a
dancer,
I,
don't
know
somehow
I
think
for
me,
but
obviously
you've
made
this
collaboration
work
and
we
talked
about
stem,
which
is
science,
technology,
engineering
and
math,
and
you've
really
put
the
big
egg
in
it
to
make
its
team.
You
know.

Physics
classes
are
traditionally
taught
on
simple
systems
on
blocks
and
balls
and
surfaces.
It's
good
to
do
so,
because
systems
are
simple
block
is
much
simpler
than
human
body
right
right,
but
not
everybody
relates
to
blocks
and
balls
yeah,
but
everybody
can
relate
to
their
body
moving.
Is
them
turning
to
them
falling
to
them,
shifting
their
weight,
and
in
that
sense,
when
you
introduce
physics,
concepts
same
concepts
of
force
of
torque
of
energy,
but
you
put
them
in
relationship
with
everyday
experiences
of
people,
which
is
not
even
necessarily
dance
but
its
movements
right.
B
A
C
Is
a
part
of
deep
vision,
dance
company
tell
us
about
Andy
patient
dance
company
is
a
Baltimore
based
non
profit
organization
or
a
professional
dance
company.
That
also
does
a
lot
of
outreach
in
the
community
and
learning
physics
through
movement
is
a
program
that
we've
been
taking
through
K
through
12.
Oh.
