and
the
Greater

from
these

their
long-term
participation
in
helping
to
make
baby
boomer
senior
expo
and
event
to
remember.
Let's
start
the
show,
with
laura
reiley
deputy
director
of
the
baltimore
county
department
of
aging,
who
will
talk
about
expose
new
features,
along
with
other
exciting
elements
which
add
to
the
fun
information
and
resources
packed
into
this
experience.
A
Welcome
to
the
show
Laura,
thanks
for
having
me
baby
boomers
senior
expo,
is
celebrating
its
20th
year
of
bringing
a
fantastic
theme
to
our
audience,
discovering
the
power
of
age
by
nourishing
of
mind
body
and
spirit.
Can
you
go
over
the
basics
of
Expo
and
how
we
tie
into
the
theme
and
vision
of
the
event
department.
B
Of
aging
is
all
about
empowering
older
adults,
and
so
when
we
look
for
a
theme,
we
definitely
thought
that
giving
people
more
of
the
tools
and
the
resources
they
needed
expert
would
fall
in
the
theme
of
nourishing
the
mind.
The
body
and
soul,
hopefully,
they'll,
be
able
to
come
around
and
get
a
little
bit
of
everything.
A
B
There's
going
to
be
something
for
everyone,
we
pride
ourselves
every
year
on
having
something
new
and
different
and
as
well
as
the
old
standbys
that
everyone
loves
to
see
so
first
off.
You
need
to
know
that
the
funds
for
the
expo
go
to
the
seniors
in
need
program.
So
admission
is
two
dollars
or
two
canned
goods
of
non-perishable
food.
B
Once
there
you're
going
to
receive
the
lunch
to-go
container,
courtesy
of
our
gift,
sponsors,
BGE
and
GBMC,
who
you'll
hear
from
later,
as
well
as
two
full
days
of
entertainment,
with
our
featured
entertainers
being
the
Mahoney
brothers
on
october,
twenty
eighth
from
four
to
seven.
We
really
appreciate
our
sponsors,
WMAR,
TV,
channel
two
media
and
then
all
of
our
sponsors
in
the
north
and
south
halls
that
fill
the
area
so
we'll
be
doing
all
kinds
of
consumer
education
through
BGE
GBMC
is
going
to
be
celebrating
their
50th
anniversary
with
all
kinds
of
games
and
resources.
B
Professionals
can
come
on
Wednesday
morning
for
a
free
networking
event
sponsored
by
caption
and
choices
and
Maryland
gerontological
Association.
Our
future
areas
include
lots
of
health
screenings
from
Kaiser
Permanente
Leah's
vacation
center,
a
new
one.
This
year,
where
you
can
experience
all
kinds
of
RVs
provision
who
will
be
doing
distance
and
vision,
testing
sparks
at
play
with
state-of-the-art
fitness
equipment
and
verizon,
state-of-the-art
technology
services
and
informational
resources.
Our
feature
this
year,
that's
very
special
to
us-
is
our
food
for
thought.
B
Feature
area
where
cabot,
creamery,
cooperative
and
giant
foods
will
have
all
kinds
of
food
and
health
talks.
Cooking
demos
recipes
and
samples
Wegmans
also
will
be
there
with
their
cooking
demos.
Healthy
food
talks
about
eating
well
and
living
well.
Other
opportunities
for
resources
and
entertainment
include
over
250
exhibitors
and
vendors,
where
people
can
stroll
and
pick
up
all
kinds
of
resource
information.
Of
course,
our
entertainment
is
a
big
plus
and
all
the
latest
from
all
of
our
Baltimore
County
government
agencies.
B
B
A
B
We're
trying
to
feature
all
the
classes
that
they
can
also
find
in
one
of
their
local
senior
centers,
so
they
can
come,
take
a
chance
to
meet
the
instructors
and
take
part
in
things
like
zumba,
tai
chi,
for
better
balance,
we've
got
some
core
fitness
classes.
Hula
hoops
are
back,
so
we
can
definitely
enjoy
some
of
that.
We've
got
some
strength
and
fitness
aerobics
drums
alive
urban
line
dancing
and
new
this
year
on,
martial
arts,
sword
techniques,
demonstration
sounds.
A
B
Definitely
want
to
make
sure
that
our
veterans
have
the
opportunity
to
pick
up
resources
and
find
out
what's
available
to
them
out
there,
and
this
is
actually
for
veterans
of
all
ages,
so
they
can
come,
have
assistance
from
the
mobile
vet
center,
that's
coming
about
job
searches
and
finding
out
other
things
that
can
support
them
in
their
lives
in
the
community.
Related
to
that
we're
also
having
a
job
fair,
which
are
definitely
seeking
veterans
to
give
employment
to,
but
also
folks
of
all
different
ages.
B
A
B
Art
show
is
a
great
way
for
us
to
highlight
the
great
art
that's
happening
all
over
our
county,
so
individuals
from
each
Center
have
been
selected
through
earlier
trials
and
they
will
be
the
ones
who
are
featured
at
the
show
and
individuals
can
walk
through.
You
can
pick
out
your
favorite
art,
you
get
to
vote
for
the
best
of
show,
and
then
there
will
also
be
a
juried
show.
That's
announced
on
Thursday.
B
So
it's
a
great
way
to
see
what
you
can
learn
at
a
local
Senior
Center,
as
well
as
a
talent
that's
already
out
there.
Then
we've
got
the
fitness
demos
stage
and
again
that's
where
you
can
learn
all
the
different
activities
that
happen
in
a
Senior
Center
get
out
there,
try
it
or
just
sit
and
watch,
but
you're
going
to
be
really
wowed
by
all
the
different
activities
that
happen
at
our
centers.
It.
