A
A
Hey
everybody,
it's
john
walpert
and
we're
here
from
with
the
last
show
of
our
current
format
of
the
baseline
show
before
we
refresh
and
update
on
september,
one
so
welcome
to
the
last.
I
think
a
continuous
show
or
office
hours
for
the
baseline
protocol.
If
you're
tuning
in
you
don't
know
what
baseline
protocol
is,
go
to
baseline-protocol.org
and
get
involved,
and
in
fact,
michael
schreiber,
here
from
michael,
you
want
to
mention
the
company
workout.
I
won't.
I
won't
out
you
on
that.
Yeah.
B
The
name
of
my
company
is
jdi,
so
I
I'm
a
contractor
and
I
do
contracting
work.
A
A
A
You
were
telling
me
before
we
got
before
we
went
live
about
how
you
are
you
know,
committing
yourself
to
a
new
open
source
project
and
volunteering
and
and
that
you've
you've
found
your
way
into
the
baseline
protocol
and
got
lots
of
questions.
I
think
that's
awesome
and
we'll
talk
a
lot
about
that
today
and
and
try
to
field
your
questions
and
try
to
get
folks
like
kyle
on
I.
A
I
have
to
admit
we
kind
of
downplayed
this
this
office
hours
today,
because
it
everybody's
getting
ready
for
some
releases
and
some
stuff
so
and
it's
the
last
one,
but.
C
A
C
A
Very
well
said,
sir,
and
yes
do
all
that
do
all
those
things
and
it
will
be
at
on
the
same
youtube
channel
same
that
time,
same
bat
channel.
That
said,
we're
gonna
update
the
format.
A
We're
going
to
you
know,
put
more
resources
into
it
and
there's
going
to
be
a
lot
more
to
talk
about
because
of
upcoming
releases
from
the
baseline
protocol
and
others,
so
that
it's
going
to
be
a
busy
next
couple
of
months
and
certainly-
and
I
think,
a
busy
rest
of
the
year
as
we
count
down
to
the
v1
production
release
of
both
the
standard
and
the
resources
tools
and
reference
implementation
code,
that
you
need
to
do
successful,
baselining
projects
and
make
lots
of
money.
A
So
that's
the
that's
where
we're
going
today
is
the
last
anyway.
So
we're
going
to
talk
about
three
things
today,
the
standard
which
is
done.
A
A
And
yes,
many
many
people
who
actually
table
read
that
entire
super
boring
document
and,
if
you're
interested
in
where
to
find
that
super
boring
document.
If
you're
into
super
boring
but
awesome
and
important
things
go
straight
to
baseline,
to
the
github
and
to
the
eea,
oasis,
slash
baseline
dash
standard
repo,
and
you
will
see
that
the
readme
is
in
there
and
then
you'll
see
baseline
core
the
md
file,
and
that
is
where
this
monster
is
living.
A
B
Thank
you,
john
yeah
appreciate
that
very
much.
A
A
But
yeah,
I
think
it's
just
a
wonderful
piece
of
work
and
it's
not
just
about
baselining
it's
a.
It
really
is,
I
think,
a
good
candidate
as
a
standard
for
it
system,
synchronization,
state
synchronization
across
the
internet
or
at
anything
right.
It
reads
that
way:
it's
got
terrific
detail,
I
mean
there.
There
are
some
requirements
in
there
that
I
I
would
not
have
thought
of,
and
I
don't
think
half
the
you
know
very
experienced
and
and
current
distributed
systems.
A
D
So,
just
as
a
as
a
as
an
additional
plug
we're
actually
so
the
the
ethereum
foundation,
you
know,
tasa
and
and
myself
are,
are
you
know
trying
to
get
another
working
group
up
and
running
within
the
oasis
community
space
of
the
ea
around
you
know,
taking
this
piece
of
work
and
utilizing
it
for
for
layer
two
and
and
and
build
a
build
up,
build
a
layer.
Two
standard
on
on
on
this
foundation
so
including
interoperability,
which
I
think
is
is,
is
absolutely
crucial.
D
So
we're
inviting
everybody
who's
interested
in
that
particular
piece
of
work,
and
even
though
it
says
you
know
it's
like
ea
oasis,
you
know
layer,
two
is
quite
general,
so
you
know
it
doesn't
have
to
be
on
ethereum
only
so
it
is
not
an
exclusive
club,
quite
on
the
contrary,
is
going
to
be
inclusive
as
much
as
possible
and
we're
inviting
everyone.
D
That
means
l2
projects,
enterprises
and
the
funders
of
l2
projects,
especially
vcs,
to
contribute,
because
it's
it's
an
important
investment
that
people
are
making
and
I
think
that
needs
to
pay
off,
because
in
the
end
we'll
it
will
be
the
network
of
shards.
So,
to
speak
of
the
of
the
different
that
are
that,
are
you
know,
sitting
on
various
various
strong
islands
of
security
that
will
make
up
that
new
stateful
internet?
Let's
call
it
this
way.
A
Yeah
I
used
to
I
used
to
have
a
whole
presentation
called
the
statefulnet
internet.
I
still
like
that
idea.
It's
not
as
simple
or
sexy
as
blockchain.
I
guess,
but
I
think
it's
a
more
accurate
way
of
thinking
about
what
you
can
use
it
for
in
the
enterprise
and
certainly
in
the
enterprise,
so
andreas
you
want
to
give
us
any
highlights
about
the
other
highlights
about
the
the
standard
it
it
has.
It
really
stipulates
the
messaging
protocol
right
so
yeah,
which
you
know
it's
not
like.
D
Messaging
protocols
how
to
establish
you
know
what
type
of
identifiers
you
should
be
using
how
they
should
be
controlled,
how
how
credentialing
authentication
authorization
should
be
working
so
like
this
is
all
geared
towards
a
zero
trust
environment
which
is
currently
gaining
a
lot
of
public
attention
after
the
solo
wins
and
kazaya
hacks.
D
You
know
it's.
It's
also
about
how
you,
how
you
you
need
to
to
communicate
what
your
your
zero
knowledge
proves,
actually
mean.
So
then
people
can
actually
interpret
it
right.
So
the
the
the
human
machine
interface
that
that
humans
understand
what
the
machine
is
doing
in
zero
knowledge
is
something
that
is
that
is
that
is
lacking
so
far,
and
that
this
this
standard
is
trying
to
address
in
in
in
in
different
ways
as
well.
As
you
know,
it's
like
it's
like
asking.
D
The
the
you
know
forcing
the
community
to
to
congregate
around.
You
know
the
types
of
of
cryptographic
protocols
that
are
that
are
that
are
fast
and
that
are
that
are
not
only
secure
but
fast
and
and
do
not
eat
up.
A
lot
of
you
know
blockchain
space.
D
B
B
A
And
do
know,
and
and
and
and
expose
no
data,
metadata,
trace
data
or
breadcrumbs
that
you
that
one
with
a
good
ai
could
use
to.
D
A
And
right
now,
okay,
so
thank
you.
Andreas
and
congratulations
again
standard
is
the
draft
is
done
and
now
is
being
submitted
to
oasis
for
ratification
and
that's
a
long
process
but
open
hoping
to
have
it
done
by
the
end
of
the
year
and
then
for
it
to
be
sent
off
to
additional
standards
promulgation
from
there,
like
iso
or
ieee.
That
sort
of
thing,
so
that's
that's,
really
astoundingly
good
work.
The
second
thing
to
to
talk
about
is
now
that
we
have
a
standard.
A
B
A
Know
that
you
are
compliant
with
the
standard
and
that's
not
ready
yet
that'll,
be
when
when
it's
been
ratified,
but
there
is
already
companies
like
provide
and
unibright
and
others
who
are
who
are
making
tools
actively,
that
are
standards
that
will
be
compliant
with
the
standard
and
will
allow
you
to
build
more
quickly
and
easily
and
more
in
a
straightforward
way
and
not
have
to
be
a
systems
genius
like
andreas
to
understand
what
you're
doing
so,
that's
very
exciting
and
a
lot
of
that
will
be
showcased
and
hacked
on
at
eath
atlanta.
A
So
if
you
haven't
signed
up
for
eath
atlanta
ethl.com,
I'm
told
that
that
the
website
with
the
agenda-
and
these
and
the
you
know
at
least
the
speakers
that
have
already
been
lined
up
they're
continuing
to
do
that
will
be
on
the
site
in
the
24-hour
time
period.
Ish
don't
hold
me
against
that
if
they
don't
get
it
up
there,
it's
not
my
job,
but
you
know
this.
This
is
this
is
about
to
have
the
agenda.
A
There's
a
lot
of
folks
that
have
been
lined
up
to
to
speak
and
jack.
Do
you
have?
Are
you
able
to
confirm
a
couple
of
the
names
that
are
speaking.
E
Yeah,
you
know
giants
in
the
house
of
course
called
thomas.
We
will
have
paul
brody
paul
browning
from
e
and
y
york,
rhodes
from
microsoft
york
rose
good,
we're
going
to
have
derrick
carlson
from
senedia
and
and
nats.
E
From
consensus,
co-founder
of
ethereum
hoping
there's
a
couple,
other
people
that
are
in
conversation
right
now,
but
other
ones
that
we
know
that
we
have
secured
stefan
and
martin
from
unibright,
of
course,
ifan.
He,
ceo
of
bsn
in
china,
from
we're
going
to
have
folks
from
chain
link
the
graph,
certainly
the
ef
dan
burnett,
representing
the
eea,
we're
going
to
have
an
excellent
creator
panel.
E
Andreas
will
be
there
representing
the
ef
as
well
as
as
well
as
provided,
of
course
and
he'll,
be
speaking
on
both
l2s
and
a
number
of
different
things.
Ekps
andreas
will
be
involved
quite
a
bit
and.
A
This
is
a
real
hackathon
right,
so
this
is
basically
friday
through
sunday
october,
one
through
three
and
so
makers
and
hackers
and
and
there
will
be
a
are,
are
you
able
to
be
part
of
the
hackathon
if
you're
virtual.
E
Yeah,
I
I
you
know,
that
is
something
that
I
need
to
confirm.
I
do
believe
so
that
I
I
do
believe
so
that
I
don't
see
any
reason
why
we
wouldn't
have
virtual
submissions.
A
And
how
will
people
participate
in
the
event
virtually?
Will
there
be
like
a
channel
or
like
what
we
did
with
summit?
What
was.
B
A
A
Terrible
branding
but
really
good
system.
A
I
think
we
almost
choose
chose
that
name
too
well,
I
think
everybody
thinks
it's
a
product.
A
Of
those
baselines
please,
and
I'm
like
no
standard,
it's
kind
of
boring,
okay,
so
yeah,
exciting
jack,
anything
else
on
the
ether
atlanta,
I
was.
E
Just
gonna
say:
there's
some
that
some
speakers
and
some
other
things
that
we
have
in
store
that
haven't
been
disclosed
yet
kind
of
keeping
that
a
little
close
to
the
chest.
Yeah.
Of
course,
we
bring
a
little
bit
more
excitement
to
it
still
yet
so,
there's
still
quite
a
bit
still
coming
down
the
pipe
here,
but
we
do
again.
We
have
the
primary
core
things
that
we
wanted
all
locked
in.
E
So
now
it's
just
kind
of
ironing
out
some
of
the
the
final
details
here
and
we
will
get
that
posted
so
that
everyone
can
plan
accordingly.
Okay,.
A
A
Michael,
you
know
I
I
just
glanced
at
the
the
time
has
flown
a
little
faster
than
I
expected
and
then
we're
getting
to
the
bottom
of
the
hour,
and
I
know
you
have
questions
about
how
to
how
to
set
up
and
run
the
baseline
stack,
and
I'm
really
sorry
about
that.
But.
A
You
are
on
the
slack
channel
right.
Yes,.
B
I
am
on
the
slack
channel.
I
have
all
the
code
installed,
I'm
on
a
windows
machine.
I
have
the
windows
linux
subsystem
up
and
running.
I
have
docker
on
there.
I've
got
everything
on
there,
so
I
can
can
successfully
build
and
run,
and
I
changed
the
readme
because
I
had
to
do
two
steps
which
were
not
in
the
readme.
So
what
I'll
do
is
do
a
pr
with
those
steps
in
there
yay.
E
B
This
is
for
windows,
specifically
right
if
I
had
a
mac
or
whatever
it
might
be
different.
So.
D
Wonderful
no
important
these
are
the.
These
are
the
important
things
that
are
that
are
that
that
need
to
be
done
now.
A
Michael,
I
guess
we'll
have
to
do
it
offline,
but
we'll
get
you
all
the
help
you
need
we're
excited
to
have
folks
like
you
in
the
community.
A
Thank
you
and
we'll
get
you
some
more
on
one
time
with,
with
some
of
the
other
core
devs,
we
are
relaunching
the
core
dev
community
on
october
1
at
the
hackathon,
so
we'll
be
reinstantiating
that
you'd
have
an
opportunity
beyond
that.
If
you
get
that
pull
request,
in
fact,
if
you,
if
you
ping
on
on
slack,
you
mention
it
where
it
is
I'll,
go
and
I'll,
add
maya,
approved
right
away
and
yeah
it
it.
It
would
be
you
you-
and
this
is
a
good
ad
for
something
else.
A
The
technical
steering
committee
elections
are
coming
up.
If
you
don't
know,
baseline
protocol
is
governed
by
contributors.
You
could
sponsor,
you
could
put
millions
of
dollars
into
sponsoring.
You
don't
get
any
votes,
you
get
votes
by
contributing,
and
so
the
contributors
will
vote
on
the
new
technical
steering
committee
membership
or
the
new
year
betw
on
from
october
1
through
the
13th
or
15th,
or
something
like
that,
and
and
that's
partly
we
pushed
it
back.
A
A
little
bit
to
make
sure
that
the
hackathon
participants
had
a
chance
to
get
their
pull
requests
in
so
that
they
could
they
could
vote.
You
can
contribute
on
the
standards
repo
or
this
the
the
main
baseline
repo
and
you
get
to
be
a
contributor
to
baseline
bishwashree
is
a
contributor
thanks.
It's
nice,
to
see
you
there
watchery
she's
done
some
really
important
work.
B
B
A
B
B
You
guys
I'll
reach
out
on
slack.
It
was
very
nice
to
meet
you
all
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
doing
some
contributions
myself
so
nice
to
meet
you
all.
A
All
right,
so
I
think
bushwasher,
do
you
have
anything
to
add
about
your
excel
thing.
Has
by
the
way
has
that
been
checked
in
and
merged,
yet
the
excel
project.
B
Like
I'm,
I,
like
quote
from
my
end,
is
complete
but
like
they're
still
like
I'm
working
with
kyle
on
that
way,
he
just
wants
me
to
run
a
few
extra
tests
on
it,
so
I'm
just
like
because
he's
a
little
caught
up,
so
I
am
not
able
to
complete
that.
D
A
Is
push
it?
It's
it's
something.
A
Asked
for
we've
been
announcing
it
for
weeks
and
I
don't
want
to
confuse
people
by
talking
about
it
and
not
having
them
be
able
to
find
it,
and
once
again
you
know
in
open
source,
you
you
pro
you
push
early
and
often
you
don't
wait
to
polish
it
with
a
diaper
right.
So
please
push
that
code
and
we
will.
B
B
A
Right
now,
yeah
I
mean,
if
you
can
do
that
today.
In
fact,
I
know
three
people
that
want
to
get
access
to
that
code
today
and
so
we'll.
A
Maintainers
and
and
get
that
approved,
asap.
A
Sweet
yeah,
it's
an
important
piece
of
work
for
people
who
don't
know
bishwatri
has
built
a
connector
for
microsoft
excel,
so
you
can
actually
baseline
an
excel
spreadsheet
to
a
erp
system,
which
is
super
cool,
and
I
think
you
got
a
little
help
from
microsoft
itself,
right
from
kale
teeter.
In
those
guys.
A
E
Right,
john,
just
just
clarifying
that
prior
prior
to
that
effort,
we
were
working
with
the
envision
guys
chasing
panzers
and
and
dan
norton
from
the
vision,
and
so
they
had
actually
done
quite
a
bit
of
development
to
help
us
get
closer
to
that
point
and
to
have
that
ready
from
descending
perspective
of
excel.
So
certainly
hats
off
to
the
envision
guys
for
their
help
and
support.
In
doing
that,.
A
Right
on
great,
I
didn't
know
that
envision
I
haven't
seen.
I
haven't
seen
dan
in
the
gang
for
a
bit
and
it's
good
to
see
that
are
they
going
to
be
at
the.
A
E
They're
very
busy
on
the
day
that
we're
trying
to
find
it
so
we're
going
to
see
if
we
get
them
there
or
not.
A
All
right,
I've
got
a
question
here
when
quickbooks
yeah,
we
do
have
folks
from
intuit
participating
in
the
in
the
community
for
a
while,
and
it
would
not
take
a
lot
to
quickbooks
has
a
a
lot
of
api
connectors.
You
don't
have
to
like.
A
You,
don't
have
to
put
quickbooks
into
you.
You
wouldn't
have
to
like
get
into
the
actual
code
of
quickbooks
to
make
quickbooks
baselineable
and
just
do
a
connector.
Anybody
could
do
that
literally
today,
and
certainly
after
all,
the
tools
push
in
september
and
october
so
and
then
as
they
go
to
production
towards
the
end
of
the
year
with
v1,
should
be
quite
straightforward
to
baseline
quickbooks
as
well
and
any
other
system
jack.
Aren't
you
guys
working
work
on
something
with
a
connector
company.
A
Why
am
I
going
up
on
my
favorite
connector
company
with
conservator.
A
Mulesoft,
thank
you.
Can
circle
too,
that
you
know
from
an
api
economy
perspective
mulesoft's
the
bomb
yeah
yeah.
E
Okay,
yeah
we've
started
to
pursue
some
level
of
efforts
relative
to
baseline
and
other
stuff,
so
we've
definitely.
A
Right
now,
let's
see
I'm
looking
up
the
the
the
list
here.
Sandoz
mark
says:
stanley
kulichov
will
be
there
at
east
atlanta
will.
E
He
will
not
be
there
in
person
he'll
be
with
travel
restrictions,
he'll
be
participating,
virtually
awesome.
There's
a
number.
B
E
A
And
there's
a
couple
of
notable
podcast
or
youtubers
out
there.
I
think
right.
I
want
to
name
names
without
them
approving
that,
but
I
don't
know
if
they're
they're
are
they
locked.
E
In
yet
and
part
of
that,
just
to
clarify
john,
you
were
you're,
certainly
in
the
offices
just
a
couple
weeks
ago,
together,
there's
that
very
nice
podcasting
room,
studio,
yeah.
E
That's
going
to
be
there
to,
for
anyone
that
is
within
you
know
the
podcasting
or
the
media
side
and
wants
to
do
any
really
quality
interviews
or
podcasts
and
produce
them
live
from
eat
atl.
We
certainly
welcome
those
folks
to
do
so.
We're
already
we're
going
to
have
like
a
list
just
like
a
sign
up
list
just
to
make
sure
that
it's
well
scheduled
out,
but
we've
already
had
a
couple
of
people
trying
to
inquire
to
set
up
some
live
live
cuts
for
me.
E
C
A
great
facility,
I'm
very,
very
well
appointed
you
know
sound
proof,
great
high
quality
equipment,
lots
of
mics
and
headphones.
It's
yeah
great
setup.
D
A
C
A
I'll
bring
the
I'll
bring
the
good
camera,
so
there
is
one
last
thing
that
I
think
we
can
drop
today
unless
lucas
or
bishwashree
tyler.
Anybody
has
something
to
elsa
mention
mark
we're
gonna
be
off
next
week,
so
no
baseline
show
on
wednesday
it'll
be
the
first
time
I
think
in
way
over
a
year,
and
then
we're
going
to
come
back
on
september,
1
and
you're
going
to
want
to
tune
in
because
drum
roll
we're.
A
A
Yeah
yeah
yeah,
I
think
he's
you
know
nobody
gets
everything
right.
I
remember
you
know
early
on,
you
know
he
did
a
piece
on
baselining
and
it
wasn't
exactly
all
correct
and
but
then
I
mean
really
ever
since
then
he
does
his
homework
and
I
I
I
consider
him
pretty
thorough
in
his
research
on
stuff
and
I
haven't.
A
I
haven't
seen
very
many
of
his
episodes
where
about
baseline,
that
where
I
I
I
was
like
yeah,
that's
pretty
much
correct
most
of
the
time,
so
nobody
gets
everything
right,
but
given
how
he,
the
guy
works,
really
hard
on
getting
the
story
correct,
and
we
appreciate
that
so
yeah.
I
thought
it
would
be
kind
of
cool
to
have
him
come
on
the
show
and
ask
the
questions
he
wants
to
ask
about
about
what
we're
doing
and
why
it's
important.
A
So
we'll
have
a
bit
of
an
interview
that
way
and
with
that
I
think
I've
got
nothing
else.
Anybody
else,
one
last
word
or
shall
we
sign
off.
A
Okay,
everybody:
we
will
see
you
on
september
1
in
the
meantime
get
involved.
This
is
definitely
the
time
to
get
involved
with
baseline
protocol
baseline
dashprotocol.org.
A
There
will
be
a
big
refresh
to
that
website
as
well
released
new
content
and
and
the
baseline
protocol
dot
or
the
baseline
repo
will
be
updated
in
short
order
and
there's
lots
of
other
releases
coming.
A
This
is
the
time
for
you
to
start
baselining,
because
the
tools
are
going
to
be
there
and
you'll
be
able
to
use
things
like
base
ledger
soon
enough,
and
that
will
allow
you
to
basically
synchronize
anything.
You
want
anytime,
you
want
without
having
to
set
up
systems
to
do
it.
So
that's
pretty
exciting.
E
Yeah
and
keep
your
eye
out
for
atl
announcements
upcoming
here,
as
well
as
just
planning
to
to
participate
in
that
it's
going
to
be
just
a
great
opportunity
from
all
developer
perspective
from
a
business
leader
perspective,
to
get
just
more
involved
in
everything
I'm
going
within
the
ethereum
community,
more
generally,
as
well
as
the
baseline
protocol
community
and
all
the
opportunities
that
we
foresee
within
the
base
ledger
network
as
well.
E
E
It
is
for
anyone,
it
is
free
to
the
community,
and
so,
if
you
do
come
in
person,
it's
a
free
event,
and
so
anyone
can
sign
up
and
welcome
any
builders.
B
One
thing
I
do,
I
was
going
to
say:
one
thing
I
do
want
to
point
out
is:
if
you
fly
into
atlanta,
the
distance
between
the
airport
and
where
the
event
is
going
to
be
held
is
going
to
be
a
little
bit
of
a
pricey
uber
ride.
C
A
A
Right,
okay,
everybody!
Well
with
that,
I
will
do
it
one
last
time,
thanks
everybody,
we
are
signing
off
the
last
show
of
this
format
and
we're
a
no
no
show
next
week.
Wait
wait
for
the
the
show
on
sun
on
the
september
1st
and
that
also
not
to
forget.
We
have
a
show
in
india
friendly
time,
6
p.m.
India,
india,
standard
time,
if
I
remember
correctly,
it's
8
30
a.m.
U.S
eastern.
C
A
Yeah,
so
I
don't
expect
to
see
you
guys
on
that,
but
yeah,
so
we
have
two
different
baseline
shows
one
for
each
times.
Each
major
sort
of
hemispheric
difference
is
that
right
hemisphere,
anyway
big
time
zone
and
so
yeah
look
out
for
those,
and
we
will
see
you
on
september
1.
