A
The
numbers
of
confirmed
positive
cases
in
bay
county
continues
to
plateau
today's
test.
Positivity
rate
is
17
and
a
half
percent
slightly
lower
than
last
week's
18
percent,
but
much
too
high
of
a
condition
for
our
community
admissions
for
covet
at
mclaren
bay
region
are
slightly
decreasing
as
well.
A
These
numbers
need
to
decrease
and
do
so
at
a
more
dramatic
rate.
The
current
surge
is
driven
by
variant
strains
that
are
highly
transmissible
and
spread
quickly
throughout
the
population.
The
majority
of
all
confirmed
cases
continues
to
come
from
persons
under
the
age
of
35,
with
one
in
five
of
all.
New
cases
are
also
from
persons
under
the
age
of
18.,
but
it's
also
being
driven
by
persons
not
accessing
vaccination
in
a
timely
basis.

This
week
the
health
department
continues
to
provide
vaccine
through
our
clinics
at
delta,
college
and
friday
at
second
baptist
church,
but
we
will
be
off
this
saturday,
so
no
clinics
will
be
offered
by
the
health
department
this
weekend
as
demand
for
vaccine
changes.
So
will
our
vaccination
clinics
starting
this
coming
wednesday?
A
A
We
will
also
be
holding
several
pop-up
clinics
in
the
community,
so
keep
a
close
eye
on
our
facebook
page
and
the
bay
county
covid19
page
at
www,

We
also
highly
encourage
you
to
register
with
our
partner
providers,
walgreens
rite

kroger's,
meyers
and
walmart.
