educate

of

we're
planning
on
doing

engaging
the
whole
community
and
educating
them
on
the
medical
aspect
versus
the
recreational
aspect.

blurred
together,

this
we're
going
to
be
doing
some
focus
groups
throughout
the
community,
both
with
residents
and,
more
importantly,
with
local
providers,
so
that
they
understand
some
of
the
ramifications
and
the
basic
nuts
and
bolts
of

medical
marijuana
law
we'll
be
doing
will
be
integrating
education
through
our
breastfeeding
classes.

we
find
that
there's
a
lot
of
people
that
are
self-medicating,
especially
newborn
moms.

the
licensing
fees-

now
what
we're
gonna
do
is
we're
going
to
go
to,
let's
say
a
school
and
talk
to
15
16
year-olds
that
when
we're
done
telling
them
that

shouldn't
be
doing
this

of
all,
because
it's
illegal,
but
yet
when
they
go
home
they
probably
have
two
parents
with
medical
marijuana
cards
they're
spending
the
evening
in
a
purple
haze.

are
existing
methods
of
education
and
outreach,
they're
already
taking
place
in
the
school.
We
don't
want
to
step
on
the
toes
or
the
folks
that
are
doing
that
already.
More
importantly,
there
are
a
fair
number
of
adults
out
there
and
probably,

you
well
know,
as
as
you

as

as

do
that
are
actually
partaking
in
marijuana
on
a
daily
basis,
self-medicating,
so
to
speak.

under
the
impression

marijuana

legally
and

educate
them
on
those

expert

medical
field
and
what
I
know
enough
from
reading
that
smoking
marijuana
certainly
does
have
major
effects
to
portions
of
the
brain
that
will
affect
how
their
growth
is
and
for
our
young
kids.

realize
that
the
penalties
not
less
them
going
to
school,
getting
an
education
and
then
trying
to
get
a
job
and
not
being
able
to
pass
just
a
drug
test.
