A
You
we're
going
to
do
the
invocation,
but
and
after
the
invocation,
we're
gonna
have
a
moment
of
silence,
because
on
this
date
we
know
some
of
you
years
ago.
The
state
carries
a
heavy
burden
in
our
memory.
May
we
always
remember
and
keep
in
our
prayers,
lives
lost
and
those
left
behind
on
this
date
in
2001.
B
Eternal
Father,
you
have
placed
in
us
a
world
of
space
and
time
through
the
events
of
our
lives.
You
bless
us
with
your
love
Lord.
We
ask
that
you
will
grant
to
this
Board
of
Commissioners
and
all
those
in
authority,
patience
and
understanding
to
work
together
for
the
good
of
all
people
in
your
holy
name.
We
ask
this
amen.
C
A
Sitting
on
all
in
favor
opposed
motion
carries
next
citizen
input.
There's
any
citizen
who'd
like
to
come
forward
and
speak
to
the
Board
of
Commissioners,
it's
a
great
time
to
do
it,
seeing
none
we'll
move
on
to
petitions
and
communications.
First,
under
aid
presentation,
recognition
of
Jason
podlaski
resolution
number
2018
202,
sponsored
by
Commissioner
Tom
Herrick.
That
district
is
to
adopt
and
present
San.
A
A
A
The
Upper
Peninsula
in
June
created
many
hardships
for
local
residents
and
recognizing
the
need.
Jason
paluska
undertook
a
fundraising
effort
at
his
business
with
the
goal
of
raising
$1,000
and
whereas,
through
his
efforts
and
the
generosity
of
patrons
friends
and
family,
she
said
podlaski
raised
three
thousand
six
hundred
dollars.
A
Take
this
opportunity
to
recognize
the
chair
cup
charitable
effort
of
Jason
podlaski
on
behalf
of
those
touched
by
the
weather-related
catastrophe
and
Holton,
and
be
it
further
resolved
that
the
big
County
Board
of
Commissioners
and
the
bacon
executive
offer
best
wishes
to
Jason
in
all
future
endeavors
signed
by
your
ol
board
of
commissioners
from
Bay
County
and
we're
going
to
come
down
and
mr.
executive.
G
A
Jason
that
you
know
it's
I
heard
a
lot
of
stories
from
you
about
things
that
want
out
there
and
like
I,
say
the
whole
county
is
proud
of.
You
I
mean
a
lot
of
people.
Nobody
else
did
this
from
around
here.
You
know
you
took
it
upon
yourself
and
in
case
people
didn't
know
he
does
own
Barney's
fire,
that's
written
on
sugar.
A
So
that's
where
a
lot,
that's
where
a
lot
of
that
took
place-
and
you
know
I
love
things
like
stories
like
this
and
you
know
I
know
you
talked
about
one
story
in
particular,
or
you
know,
when
you
were
passing
out
money
I
wish
you
could
tell
people,
you
know
so
I
think
the
resiliency
of
the
people
who
live
in
the
Upper
Peninsula.
You
know
a
lot
of
times.
A
F
Again,
like
I
said
we
had
a
goal
of
$1000.
We
far
exceeded
that
can't
do
that
with
the
hope.
The
people
that
supported
us,
especially
my
wife,
so
hopefully
it's
big
thanks,
Tom
and
I
had
talked.
We
went
up
there.
We
took
some
cash
with
us
and
know
exactly
what
we
were
going
to
do
with
it,
but
we
visited
with
some
families,
one
in
particular
that
stuck
out
so
we
made
quite
a
generous
donation
to
her.
A
F
F
F
We
went
and
visited
her
house
about
two
and
a
half
weeks
after
it
happened
and
it
was
still
covered
under
six
foot
mud
and
she
lost
everything,
and
this
gal
was
just
tremendous,
so
we
met
with
her
and
I
mean
it
was
tough
to
pick
and
choose
who
you
could
help
in
week.
But
we
feel
as
though
that
you
know
it
was
going
to
be
put
to
good
use.
D

A
H
H
A
G
Thank
You
mr.
chairman
I
have
a
little
announcement
and
then
director
of
administrative
services
will
give
us
an
update
on
last
Saturday's
event.
G
G
A
G
I
I
Just
real
quick,
the
update
on
the
September
8
mg,
the
shelter
event
that
we
had
that
was
approved.
We
had
31
cats
were
placed
in
forever
homes,
which
is
a
phenomenal
feat
that
pretty
much
emptied
it
out.
There
were
two
a
little
bit
older
that
we
we
are
confident
we
will
find
homes,
for
there
were
some
people
that
were
talked
to
you
on
on
Saturday
at
the
shelter
there
that
more
than
like
little
flight
home
soon.
But
it
was
a
very
well-known
of
overwhelmingly
success.
I
We
do
have
another
empty,
the
shelter
coming
up
on
October
6,
that's
the
one,
that's
sponsored
by
Bissell
and
typically
that
one's
well-received
as
well,
so
very
good
things
going
on
over
there
and
credit
to
the
staff,
Mike
Halstead
and
everyone
else
for
their
tremendous
jobs,
they're
doing
good.
Thank
you,
I
just.
