A
Michigan
krieger,
on
behalf
of
the
Board
of
Commissioners
we'd,
like
to
thank
you
for
the
last
four
years
of
your
chairmanship.
I
got
told
you
before
I
thought
you
that
you're
a
great
great
leader,
you
know
and
you're
always
there
for
us
and
I
can't
thank
you
enough
and
whole
board
can't.
Thank
you
enough,
and
it's
been
a
pleasure
I'm
glad
I
got
to
be
here
with
you
at
this
time.
So
on
behalf
of
the
Board
of
Commissioners.
Thank
you
so
much
thank.
E
E
I
guess
basically,
what
it
comes
down
to
is
I,
don't
feel
that
my
job
is
done
yet
and
I
hope
that
I
still
have
a
good
life
with
bay
county
and
doing
the
things
that
I
think
bay
county
needs
to
have
to
improve
our
quality
life
and
bring
jobs
back
and
have
a
good
education
with
our
school
districts.
So
again,
thanks
guys
appreciate
it.
A
Next
on
the
agenda
under
petitions
and
communications,
we
have
some
presentations
for
our
area,
farmers
who
have
done
an
outstanding
actually
one
of
they
go
above
and
beyond
sometimes,
and
this
is
1
times
that
yeah,
you
know,
people
don't
realize.
Is
it's
not
it's
not
just
about
throwing.
You
know,
seeds
in
the
ground
and
watching
to
grow.
You
know,
there's
other
there's
a
lot
of
that
goes
to
it.
So
at
this
time,
I'd
like
to
recognize
the
following
people,
Brandi
burger,
John,
Burke
theory,
geyser
and
Terry
Schindler.
A
This
steps,
where
you
get
separated
from
over
by
Cano
right
over
here,
find
it
by
the
by
Commissioner,
by
pressing
bike
on
executive,
Barcia
and
I
would
like
our
County
Clerk.
Please.
Please
read
this
for
me.
Just
we
won't
blow
that
off
with
so
I
read
one
because
they're
all
a
little
different,
because
you
all
did
something
special
so
go.
C
A
B
C
B
And
whereas
this
comprehensive
voluntary
proactive
program
is
designed
to
reduce
farmers,
legal
and
environmental
risks
through
a
three
phase
process,
including
one
education
to
farm,
specific
risk
assessment
and
three
on-farm
verification
that
ensures
the
farmer
has
implemented
environmentally
sound
practices
and
whereas
the
program's
three
systems,
farmstead,
cropping
and
livestock,
each
examine
different
aspects
of
the
farm
and
whereas,
after
becoming
em,
a
ap
verified,
a
farm
can
display
in
MA
EAP
sign,
signifying
that
the
farm
is
environmentally
assured.
Whereas
the
Michigan
Department
of
Agriculture
and
Rural
developments,
the
MDA
rd,
Michigan
agriculture,
environmental
assurance
program.
B
The
M
abap
has
recognized
these
particular
bay
county
farms
for
having
that
all
of
the
requirements
set
forth
by
the
ma
EAP
cropping
system
and
that
the
required
components
of
the
MA
EAP
farmstead
system
at
the
time
of
the
farm
inspection.
Whereas
it
is
important
to
recognize
farms
and
their
commitment
to
voluntarily
preventing
or
minimizing
agricultural
pollution
risks,
therefore
be
it
resolved
by
the
bay
county
board
of
commissioners
and
the
bay
county
executive
who
offer
their
congratulations
to
these
individuals
on
their
accomplishments.
A
A
E
That's
something
that
I
think
people
in
Bay
County,
don't
really
realize
the
work
and
the
effort
it
takes
to
be
able
to
meet
these
qualifications.
And
for
me
again,
the
goal
is
to
get
all
of
our
people
in
agriculture
to
those
same
levels.
I
would
say,
probably
better
than
eighty
to
ninety
percent
of
the
people
that
are
out
there
are
doing
best
practices
in
helping
the
environment,
but
they
haven't
achieved
the
piece
paper
or
the
recognition
for
what
they've
been
able
to
do
so.
E
My
hope
is
that
we
can
continue
on
a
regular
basis,
identifying
farms
that
have
met
the
qualifications
for
the
state
and
then
they
bring
them
in.
So
they
can
get
their
moment
of
glory
for
all
the
hard
work
that
they've
done
to
help
protect
the
environment
and
to
continue
to
bring
the
money
into
Bay
County
with
what
they
do,
you're
in
and
you're
out
what
mother
nature
helps
them
or
not
so
I
guess
what
it
comes
down
to
is
I'm
here
with
terry,
my
district.
Congratulations.
G
H
Well,
this
is,
after
reading,
a
little
bit
up
on
a
program
and
the
farms
and
stuff
like
that.
This
is
very
important,
important
as
Ernie
says,
to
our
environment,
because
there's
excess
fertilizers
and
stuff
once
they
don't
they're,
not
used
or
run
offs
and
stuff.
It
ends
up
in
the
ditches
which
ends
up
in
our
Bay,
which
causes
the
mock
and
all
this
stuff.
We
can't
keep
doing
this
so
I
applaud
you,
folks,
for
all
your
efforts
and
doing
the
right
thing.
C
B
A
And
I'll
be
representing
mr.
Burke
from
Frank
and
less
Township.
Obviously
you
know
he's
one
of
the
guys
that
works
hard
at
it.
You
know
there's
a
lot
of
farms
in
bay
county
like
her
and
he
said
very
small
percentage.
You
know
people
participated,
they
try
to
participate.
I
think,
but
sometimes
they
run
out
of
time
and
it's
it's
not
easy
to
do.
It
said
taking
requires
a
lot
of
work
and
I
think
everyone
you
know
I
think
the
farm
is
because
I
don't
miss
too
many
meals.
A
B
D
D
Post.Thanks
is
revolution:
2017
dash
8,
which
is
the
2017
hazardous
materials,
emergency
preparedness
grant
for
the
bay
county,
local
emergency
planning
committee
for
Murphy
management,
and
we
never
support
discussion.
Seeing
on
all
paper,
hi
post
next
is
resolution.
2017
dynamic,
alchemical
grant
application
for
the
retreat
marine
patrol
boat
from
the
sheriff
former
teammate
there
a
slip.
D
I
A
H
A
F
Executive,
yes,
thank
you
very
much.
Mr.
chairman
and
I
want
to
begin
by
thanking
all
of
the
Board
of
Commissioners
for
your
strong
support
of
finding
a
middle
ground
with
a
valley
technology,
markmonitor,
Township,
DDA,
I,
think
it's
a
great
intergovernmental
cooperation
will
benefit
bay
county
in
the
future
and
as
a
result
of
the
finalization
of
the
agreement
between
bay,
county,
modern
township
and
the
monitor,
township
DDA
bay
county
will
receive
twenty
thousand
dollars
and
unanticipated
funds
were
in
addition
to
what
we
were
expected
to
receive.
F
Now
that
will
all
go
into
county
operating
as
I'll
explain
in
a
minute
a
check
in
the
amount
of
440
six
thousand
dollars
to
a
440,
6254
dollars
and
ninety-nine
cents
was
returned
from
the
DDA
to
the
bay
county,
treasurer
to
disperse
to
the
appropriate
amounts
to
all
taxing
entities
in
the
county,
and
I
want
to
offer
special
thanks
to
rick
brzezinski
in
his
outstanding
team,
in
helping
to
finalize
the
details
of
the
agreement.
Secondly,
I
wanted
to
really
deb
allowed
me
to
make
this
announcement.
F
That
is
I
think
we
all
appreciate
she
has
worked
along
with
Amber
and
the
rest
of
the
team
in
the
executive
office
and
you
very
diligently
with
the
Michigan
Municipal
risk
management
Authority,
which
presented
a
check
to
us
with
it
yesterday
in
yesterday
from
Tim
in
the
amount
of
166
thousand
seven
hundred
and
twelve
dollars,
and
that
is
a
result
of
bacon's
renewal
for
2017.
With
the
mm
h,
MMA
or
ma.
Excuse
me:
don't
my
readers
on
our
property
and
liability
ature.
F
These
funds
were
returned
to
be
only
based
on
our
longevity,
lost
history
and
proactive
risk
management
measures.
So
I
just
want
to
report
that
it's
favorable
news.
You
know
well
we'll
generate
a
little
bit
more
revenue
for
general
fund
and
again
want
to
thank
you
for
your
actions
and
helping
to
secure
additional
funds
for
all
the
taxing
entities,
including
County,
operating.
F
A
And
following
that
meeting,
there'll
be
a
full
board
meeting
of
the
bay
county
board
of
commissioners
to
be
appointments
march.
We
have
the
Bay
Area
Act
behavioral
health
authority.
We
have
four
three-year
terms
that
expiring,
the
four
people
are
Tom
writer,
Jim,
Anderson,
Richard,
rimouski
and
Colleen
moet.
So
that's
open
for
anybody
who
like
to
apply
the
go.
The
county
website
and
the
information
is
available
there.
In
June
we
have
the
library
board
15
year
term
in
October,
Atlanta
Authority,
and
we
have
one
local
unit
of
government
representative.
