You yesterday afternoon, we met how did the juvenile home, with judge Minor County exec Jim Barcia Commissioner Lutz, mr. Ryder and myself as well as Bob Redmond, and a number of board members from the Behavioral Health Board, as well as the CEO Chris Pinter. It was to discuss.

Programs, programs that would deal with juveniles that are under risk dealing with substance abuse and what we might be able to put together out at the juvenile home. Basically, our second step. The first step was to talk about. Is it something we want to enter into? And there wasn't some ingredients that yep it would be definitely worth looking into. Yesterday was the second step in sitting down with the individuals that would be involved with that Julie Reynolds, obviously being the director out.

There is a intricate part of this program and what we agreed to is to come back at the end of April and look at what our options would be as far as the type of program or treatment center, that we would try to put together at the juvenile home and then look at what funding would be available and what the cost might be.

But our next step is to look at just what we could do as a county to help our our youth that are under a lot of pressure, especially with all the laws coming in into effect dealing with marijuana, and it just seems like the new generation of juveniles that are out there right now.

They're, not drinking there's smoke and Oakland there they're great on that borderline of getting themselves into trouble and, after listening to judge minor I, think it's important for us to address those issues and get these kids to help that they need to to get their life turned around before they they step off the edge and create themselves a lot of harm.
