C
B
C
A
D
E
We
wanted
to
have
22
to
cover
everybody
I
think
we
ought
to
talk
to
the
county
about
increasing
their
money,
so
we
can
get
22
cases
damn.
A
We
need
to
have
a
motion
here
to
take
to
the
full
board
for
that
it
would
be
a
budget
adjustment
if
we
do.
F
A
F
A
Yeah
we're
in
the
motion.
A
A
New
business
Vietnam,
War,
Veterans,
Memorial
Day,
the
date
is
March
29th,
I'm,
not
sure
how
many
years
they've
been
celebrating
it
the
plans.
Right
now.
We
didn't
really
set
anything
up
here
at
the
county.
We're
planning
to
do
it.
April,
2nd
6
pm
at
the
American
Legion
I,
haven't
heard
back
from
the
Daughters
of
the
American
Revolution.
If
they're
going
to
get
the
medals
to
bring
over
and
put
put
on
us,
they
wanted
to
do
that.
A
She
wasn't
sure
if
she
could
get
it
in
time,
but
if
they
do
they'll
come
over
and
and
put
the
the
Vietnam
service
medal
on
and
I'll
send
out
some
emails
to
the
public,
and
if
you,
if
you
want
to
talk
to
like
plav
and
stuff
like
that,
if
you
let
any
Vietnam
Vets
know
that
I
think
I
told
them
about
the
American
Legion,
so
plenty
bets,
you
see,
that'd
be
6
p.m.
At
the
American
Legion
on
April,
2nd.
A
F
B
B
So
obviously,
every
county
in
the
state
is
breaking
that
law,
because
ten
dollars
today
means
nothing
that
it
may
have
meant
in
1899
yeah.
So
this
is
just
to
show
our
support
for
that
activity.
To
happen,
however,
as
we've
discussed
prior
to
the
meeting,
there
are
several
things
that
need
to
change
in
this
before.
B
F
Resolution
yeah
yeah
Mark,
we
didn't
talk
about
this
Mr
Trump
yeah.
Part
of
that
is
also
removing
these
classifications
for
our
health
and
assistance
right
from
the
Department
of
Veterans
Affairs,
regarding
whether
or
not
you
serve
during
a
time
of
war
declared
war
and
I
think
we
should,
because
you
know
several
people
would
have
qualified
at
the
VA,
but
they
got
they
they
started
or
they
got
out
literally
30
days
before
the
town,
the
Gulf
of
talking
resolution
was
passed
by
Congress
and
they
missed
it.
F
B
A
Plus
this
has
emergent
and
Indigent
in
it.
Also
so
I
think
we've
talked
about
that
a
lot
before
about
trying
to
Define,
Indigent
and
emergent
I
think
we
should
add
that
into
our
response
to
them
that
we'd
like
to
have
a
definition
of
indigent
if
it's
a
number
or
a
percentage
or
whatever
and
then
emerging.
What
what's
emergent
is
a
lot
of
unclear
things.
A
D
It
yeah
I,
haven't
discharged
right
here.
Yeah,
you
have
an
honorable
discharge.
You
have
a
general
discharge
under
honorable
conditions,
which
is
a
good
discharge.
Actually
you
have
other
than
honorable
discharge.
You
have
a
bad
conduct
discharge,
you
have
a
dishonorable
discharge
and
you
have
an
uncharacterized
discharge.
A
D
Well,
I
would
here's
what
it
says:
service
members
who
do
not
have
an
honorable
discharge,
okay
and
and
failed
to
apply
for
one.
So
if
you
get
a
general
discharge,
you
don't
apply
for
an
honorable,
you
don't
get
any
benefits,
they're
forfeiting
their
opportunity
for
any
benefits.
That's
what
I
think
this
should
be.
D
A
D
C
B
Have
several
there
are
several
that
do
fall
into
that
category
yeah,
who,
unfortunately,
regardless
that
they
meet
the
other
qualifications
by
the
law?
We
can't
help
now
they
may
still
get
VA
assistance
at
Health
Facilities,
because
then
the
VA
does
their
own
background
and
checks
that
they
make
so
some
who
have
as
they
refer
to
him
as
bad
paper
discharges
that
may
get
due
to
mental
health
or
other
issues.
A
So
the
other
issue,
then
is:
if
do
we
want
to
have
them?
So
apparently
their
legislators
are
looking
at
talking
to
their
legislators
over
in
Kalamazoo,
so
if
we
could
get
maybe
daily
and
decent
on
board
to
maybe
work
collaboratively
with
with
their
legislators,
I
guess
that
would
be
the
issue
we
need
to
know
who
who
is
working
with
them
over
there
in
Kalamazoo
and
then
maybe
work
have
some
wholesalers.
You
know
sign
on
like
Beast
them
in
the
legislature
and
daily
in
the
in
the
senate
or
or
Kristen
Kristen.
Also,
that's
right.
A
B
A
B
B
Already
has
that
was
the
first
issue
that
we
asked
for
permission
to
apply
for
the
ground.
No
sign
is
necessary.
B
Yes,
so
we
don't
know
what
the
amount
will
be,
we're
being
told,
the
base
amount
will
again
be
50
000.,
but
if
we
get
additional,
we
don't
know
we've.
B
F
I,
don't
think
it's
available,
yet
this
is
just
on
2020
but
I.
You
know
it
takes
quite
a
while,
but
yeah
I
know,
we've
always
said:
seven
thousand
eight
thousand.
We
know
a
step
from
the
last
census,
but
maybe
maybe
we
can
check
and
see.
They
also
do
a
sort
of
an
annual
where,
where
they
do
an
annual
census,
but
it's
not
not
the
decennial
census.
However,
we
may
have
lost
a
lot
of
veterans
to
it
and
that
passed
away
and.
B
F
A
B
B
There
are
various
people
from
VA
from
other
organizations
that
come
in
and
talk
about,
updates,
packed
act,
other
things
that
they
require
us
to
know
each
and
every
year.
So
we
are
going
to
be
gone
in
April
from
the
25th
to
the
28th.
Thankfully,
it's
local
last
fall.
It
was
in
Bay
County,
so
we
went
as
well.
We
don't
usually
go
when
it's
further
than
very
local.
To
us.
We
just
being
away
is
a
problem
so,
but
we
are
going
to
go
since
it's
in
Frankenmuth.
B
This
gives
us
a
chance
to
see
other
people
in
the
same
position
that
we
can
talk
to
and
network
with
and
then
see
what
they're
doing
in
their
offices
as
well.
So
and
then
in
August
we
usually
do
the
American
Legion
one,
since
the
folks
out
of
Detroit
out
of
the
regional
office
are
the
ones
who
have
credit
us.
It
gives
us
a
chance
to
get
face
to
face
with
them
talk
to
the
staff,
and
then
we
get
updates
of
different
things
from
them.
So.
A
D
American
Legion
has
regional
service
officers
yeah
and
they
do
not
send
one
to
Bay
County
any
longer,
because
they
are
fully
confident
with
the
capabilities
of
our
two
services.
D
D
B
B
Most
at
least
the
ones
that
we
talked
to
with
these
conferences,
and
things
have
at
least
two
full-time,
usually
a
part-time
administrative
person,
so
it
just
there.
There
aren't
any
that
I
can
think
of
Tuscola
County
has
two
full-time,
plus
an
admin
and
all
these
smaller
County.
All
these
other
countries
that
have
usually
at
least
have
two
full-time
plus
a
half
time.
So.
F
Looking
into
yes
yeah
yeah,
we
would
like
to
add
some
staff
if
we
can
but
I.
If
I
could
Mr
chair
I
want
to
weigh
into
on
the
Mike
said,
and
the
American
Legion
I
can't
tell
you
how
many
compliments
I
get
from
veterans
to
interact
with
our
office
with
Gary
and
Mark,
and
they're
very
appreciative
of
how
they
can
cut
through
red
tape
and
get
them
the
benefits
that
they've
earned
serving
their
country.
F
D
Don't
don't
forget
that
when
the
budget
bonus
time
comes.
A
Here
we'll
be
talking
about
it
in
Mark,
too
see
anything
else
in
the
announcements
anything
coming
up,
Memorial
Day
we
have
to
the
29th
is
the
day.
So,
if
you
want
to,
if
you,
you
know,
put
the
word
out
that
it
is
the
Vietnam
Veterans
Day
on
the
29th
of
March
at
your
post
or
whatever
you
want
to
mention
that
that's
we
just
had
our
Leisure
meeting
already
so
citizens
input
Mr,
Krause
he's
here
for
another
meeting,
probably
I.
A
H
Actually,
I
got
a
good
thing.
H
Jim
you're
gonna
be
happy
to
hear
this
we're
finally
coming
I
put
through
about
a
year
and
a
half
ago
for
some
money
for
local
veterans
to
help
with
critical
home
repairs
in
this
in
the
area,
and
probably
let's
see
it's
March
April,
probably
by
the
beginning
of
May
I'll,
have
two
hundred
thousand
dollars
to
help
with
veterans
that
need
home
repairs
in
Bay
County
and
then
once
we
go
through
that
for
the
next
year,
I
actually
put
in
for
550
000
for
veterans,
we're
going
to
build
a
house
for
a
veteran.
H
What
will
be
it'll
be
like
a
230
000
house
that
they're
going
to
be
able
to
buy
for
like
a
hundred
thousand
dollars
is
what
we're
going
to
do
with
the
money.
The
funding
that
we're
going
to
do
so
we're
going
to
put
a
veteran
in
a
house,
and
then
we
also
and
the
following
year,
then
we'll
have
about
another
three
hundred
thousand
dollars
to
do
veteran
repairs
the
following
year.
We'll
have
about
three
hundred
thousand
dollars
to
do
veteran
repairs
plus
we'll
have
we're
putting
in
to
build
two
more
houses
for
veterans.
H
You
know
they're
going
to
be
full
basements
energy
efficient,
so
they
so
they
save
money
on
the
heating
bills,
and
everything
like
that,
so
we're
pretty
excited
we're
looking
to
down
the
road
in
the
next
two
years,
we're
going
to
build
at
least
four
houses,
one
for
a
veteran
for
sure,
and
we
we're
looking
at
maybe
20
in
the
next
10
years,
which,
if
you
Inside
Bay
City
I,
think
there's
been
two
built
in
the
last
10
years:
brand
new
houses
for
that
we're
up
for
sale
and
we
built
one
of
them,
so
so
we're
pretty
excited
but
but
yeah.
H
If
anybody
has
any
issue
we're
going
to
get
with
the
lady
out
by
the
beach
there
to
get
that
taken
care
of,
but
if
you
don't
have
a
veterans
that
need
help,
make
sure
you
get
with
habitat
or
I
can
get
my
information
to
everybody
too.
That's.
H
Gear
we
have
a
phone
number
yeah.
It
used
to
be
single
family
houses,
yes,
yep
yeah.
Once
we
get
going,
we
may
move
on
to
something
a
little
bit
bigger,
but
for
right
now
we're
just
doing
single
family
and
I.
Think
it's
going
to
be
it's
going
to
be
a
great
house
twist
can
be
over
on
Park
Avenue
right
next
to
the
rail
trail,
the
house
that
we're
going
to
build
before
the
veteran
so
I
mean
it's
a
great
location.
H
They
can
get
out
and
walk.
You
know,
walk
the
rail
trails
close
to
everything.
So
how
do
you
spell
your
last
name?
K-R-A-U-S-E,
k-r-a,
you're,
so
cool
Scott?
Thank
you
for
Humanity
yeah
and
it's
it's
Brian
at
habitatbaycounty.org.
If,
if
anybody
needs
to
get
a
hold
of
me,.
F
H
We
appreciate
that
yeah
in
the
in
the
last
three
years,
we've
actually
helped
over
60
veterans,
we've
put
rossan,
we
had
one
who
was
a
Bay
City
firefighter
and
a
veteran
that
we
went
in
his
bathroom
was
full
of
black
mold.
It
was
in
a
tub
he
couldn't
get
into
because
he
was
handicapped
and
we
actually
went
in
put
a
brand
new,
full
basement
in
with
a
walk-in
shower.
Since
then,
we've
painted
the
house
we've
put
a
hot
water
heater
in
for
him.
We
put
a
furnace
in
for
them.
H
A
G
Wanted
to
know
I
had
two
veteran
Brothers
Vietnam
War
yeah
and
during
the
Vietnam
War,
when
I
was
signing
up
for
the
draft,
they
threw
me
out
of
the
draft
office
and
I'll.
Tell
you
why
there
were
five
sullen
Brothers
on
a
ship
and
World
War
II
and
it
got
sunk.
The
ship
did
so.
Congress
passed
the
law
no
more
than
two
in
a
family
in
the
war
at
one
time
yeah,
so
their
name
was
Solomon,
so
I'm
signing
up
for
the
draft
and
I
already
had
two
brothers.
G
You
had
to
put
all
that
down
when
I
was
18.
and
then
when
they
found
out,
you
had
to
put
your
mother's
maiden
name
and
all
that
my
mother's
maiden
name
was
solo.
So
this
we
can't
take
you
you
can
join
when
you
can't
take
you,
but
I
I
am,
as
maybe
you
people
don't
know,
you're
the
new
Commissioners
on
that
I
I'm
on
your
region,
7
board,
division
on
Aging,
the
Bay
County
appoints
me
because
that
board
we
are
going
to
come.
G
I
just
saw
you
know,
Juan
that
we're
getting
set
up,
we're
going
to
come
again
and
give
a
presentation.
Bob
Brown
is
our
director
over
there
and
we
bring
into
Bay
County
about
five
million
dollars
in
Services.
We
do
respite
care
bath
programs.
We
help
provide
some
of
the
money
that
Meals
on
Wheels
is
a
big
thing.
We
work
with
with
Beth
Uric
all
the
time,
and
we
also
want
to
build
a
20
House
housing
unit
right
on
Euclid
there.
G
In
our
complex
we
have
room
by
kite's
flowers
that
close
down
we're
right
next
door
to
that
in
case,
you
don't
know
where
that's
at
and
we
have
enough
room
to
build
a
20
housing
unit,
and
it's
also
going
to
be
for
veterans
and
seniors
and
also
handicapped
those
three.
We
cover
region,
seven,
we're
working
on
funding
and
grants
for
this.
We
will
build
it
and
maintain
it,
but
the
veterans
organization
and
Bay
County
division
on
Aging
will
be
the
people
that
will
put
the
people
in
there.
G
We
will
partner
up
with
Bay
County
when
this
happens
down
the
road
for
a
couple,
maybe
years
and
work
with
those
two
groups,
and
they
will
actually
do
the
importing
for
the
people
in
Bay
County.
You
know
so
it's
one
of
our
plans,
but
that
we're
doing
now
you
know
and
region
seven
now
as
a
doctor,
and
we
have
a
pharmacist
on
staff.
So
we
can
take
care
of
the
very
poor,
seniors
and
Veterans
and
that
we
have
a
lot
we
have
in
10
counties.
G
We
cover
and
I'm
I'm
the
treasurer
of
the
board
there,
because
nobody
wants
the
job,
but
we
cover
10
counties
and
we
do
a
lot
of
veterans
and
a
lot
of
handicap
and
a
lot
of
seniors.
We
are
getting
ready
in
Maine
just
to
give
you
a
little
synopsis
of
what's
going
on
there.
G
We
have
a
lot
of
Investments
as
a
Treasurer
I
know
all
about
all
of
them,
240
or
less
in
banks
that
we
earn
interest
on
and
that
interest
money
is
called
non-discretionary
money
and
we
are
allowed
by
the
state
and
federal
government
permission
to
use
that
for
hearing
aids,
glasses
and
teeth
for
seniors
that
have
no
insurance
and
all
of
that.
So
on
all
10
counties.
Every
year
we
give
the
Bay
County
division
on
Aging,
we're
ready
for
you
to
send
us
people
that
need
this
and
that
department
on
age
department.
F
G
So
we're
we're
kind
of
excited
about
that
in
May.
We're
going
to
open
that
program
up
again,
I
can
tell
you
in
our
10
counties.
We
have
992
seniors
that
are
in
whole,
bound
don't
get
out.
We
do
we
do
the
shot
program,
back
programs,
respite
care,
Meals
on
Wheels
and
I-
want
to
tell
you
guys
that
Bay
County
is
the
best
Meals
on
Wheels.
We
are
the
highest
in
all
10
counties.
G
You
deliver
about
1100
meals,
a
week,
Saginaw
County,
Midland,
County
Noah
meets
our
the
numbers,
so
we're
doing
a
great
job
for
veterans
and
seniors,
and-
and
we
want
to
keep
this
program
going
and
our
future
plans
are
to
hopefully
build
a
20
housing
unit.
That's
Bay,
County
and
the
veterans
association
will
will
decide
when
they
have
people
and
who
better
than
your
organizations,
because
your
people
know
who
needs
the
help.
You
know
we
don't
go
out
and
advertise
for
that.
We
fund
your
programs
and
we're
glad
to
do
it.
