A
B
A
C
My
name
is
Mark
Smith
I've
got
the
food
pantry
over
on
Johnson
Street
for
the
veterans,
helping
handsome
vets.
I
just
want
to
tell
everybody
that
I've
had
a
fantastic
year
with
the
veterans
and
I
want
to
thank
the
vva
Vets
console
and
the
plow,
and
everybody
else
has
been
involved
with
my
food
pantry
this
year
and
a
couple
churches
that
helped
me
out.
I've
had
a
wonderful
year
and
I
God
bless
all
them
all
them
veterans
that
need
the
help
because
they
sure
need
it
all.
Thank
you.
D
On,
if
possible,
if
you
scheduled
a
lot,
we
have
a
wonderful
representative
Paul
from
desander
from
Saginaw
County,
who
is
with
the
estr,
he's
going
to
be
doing
a
presentation
to
me
as
sort
of
the
Patriot
employer,
and
he
had
presented
one
last
night
at
the
school
board
meeting
to
to
Bay
City
schools,
superintendent,
but
Paul
you're
here
and
you're.
A
chat,
you've
been
a
champion
veterans.
D
E
Create
a
Mr
Barger
we're
not
doing
the
real
thing
until
four
o'clock.
Is
that
my
understanding,
it's
true,
but
if
so
anyway,
we
have
on
the
screen.
What
we're
going
to
talk
about?
My
name
again
is
Paul
D
sander.
Some
of
you
may
be
saying:
are
you
related
to
yeah
they're,
all
related?
So
all
the
descenters
are
related
good
or
bad.
I
went
to
Department
of
Defense
I
represented
employers
for
garden
reserve
on
the
bottom
of
the
screen.
You
see,
you
know
we
think
of
a
reserve
component.
E
We
think
of
the
National
Guard
and
Army
Reserve,
but
all
seven
Reserve
components
so
we're
looking
there
on
the
left.
It
says
the
air
reserved
and
Pharma
Reserve
Marine
reserve
Air,
Force
Reserve
Marine
reserve
of
all
of
them
so
that
we
represent
all
of
them
on
the
area
chair.
My
area
goes
from
Port
Huron
to
Lansing
up
to
55
and
over
to
Tawas.
So
it
covers
quite
a
few
counties.
We
have
somewhere
around
the
changes.
E
The
fluctuates
a
little
bit
18
to
25
a
guard
and
Reserve
units
to
include
Coast
Guard
that
we
Chase
around
and
their
family
members.
So
we
got
about
30
000
people
we
stay
chased
around.
This
is
a
significant
award.
We're
going
to
give
today
and
I'll
explain
that
a
little
bit
later,
Mr
Borgia.
Thank
you
very
much
for
having
me
today.
I
look
forward
for
the
presentation.
Thank
you.
Thank.
B
A
A
A
Nope
discussion,
all
those
in
favor
of
the
eye,
all
right,
opposed
motion
passes.
Thank
you.
Thanks
for
the
money,
any
reports
or
resolutions
we've
been
working
on
a
policy
for
a
long
time
now,
Maryland
is
leaving
and
we'll
maybe
we'll
finish
it
someday.
The
the
money
for
Soldiers
and
Sailors
relief
have
been
working
on
for
a
while,
so
yeah.
D
We
understand
it's
just
a
matter
of
coming
to
the
definition
of
indigen,
but
also
with
a
safety
valve.
So
if
we
have
someone
that
experienced
trauma,
even
though
they
may
not
be
Indigent
but
from
time
to
time,
people's
lives
get
off
track
and
hopefully
the
director
will
still
have
discretion
to
be
compassionate
with
some
of
that
money.
But
it
put
together
a
framework
and
I
know
that
Mark
and
Amber
have
been
talking
about
that
and
I
know.
A
Old
business,
Thomas
you'll
update,
we've
met
another
roadblock
I,
don't
know
what
it
is
getting
somebody
to
engrave
this
wall.
We
had
a
gentleman
lined
up
I.
Think
van
Digby
gave
him
his
name
and
he
was
all
lined
up
and
ready
to
go
and
then
I.
He
told
me
how
to
become
a
vendor.
You
know
he
had
to
sign
up
with
a
county
to
be
a
vendor
to
receive
the
money.
A
Somehow
that
seemed
to
turn
him
off.
I
guess
and
we
haven't
been
able
to
get
him
in
to
sign
up
I
called
him
back
twice
and
said
how
about
if
I
paid
for
it
and
I
turned
the
money
and
it
still
hasn't
come.
So
if
anybody
knows
anybody
and
does
engraving
on
walls,
it's
just
one
name,
so
you
have
room
in
the
morning
up
front.
So
we're
still
we're
still
looking.
A
So
if
anybody
else
comes
across
anybody
on
their
cemeteries
or
if
you're,
wherever
we'll
try
to
get
it
done,
it
doesn't
have
much
family
in
the
area.
But
there
are
some
church
members
that
have
been
pushing
to
get
his
name
included.
He
has
a
Bay
City
resident.
We
found
his
papers,
he
was
taken
into
the
service
from
Bay
City,
so
we'll
keep
looking
so
anybody
out
there
on
TV
Land
knows
of
anybody
that
can
do
a
engraving
come
see
us.
So
new
business
requests
for
assistance.
F
Sir,
thank
you
Mr
chair.
There
is
one
request
before
the
board
for
a
request
for
assistance
with
a
mortgage
case.
Number
2022-097
is
a
Gulf
War
veteran
who's,
currently
on
active
duty
who
is
divorced
or
getting
divorced,
and
the
mortgage
company
said
they
would
work
with
them.
Is
he
got
all
his
other
bills?
Caught
up
several
months
went
by
he's
got
his
other
bills
in
process,
and
the
mortgage
company
said
oh
no.
We
won't
do
that,
so
they
will
not
work
with
him.
F
So,
of
course,
he's
in
an
extremely
tight
bind
and
it
was
the
amount
of
6100
6171.79
for
it
to
pay
off
the
money
on
active
duty.
He's
an
active
Guard
Reserve,
whatever
his
his.
D
D
Mark,
do
you
know
when
you
talk
to
this
gentleman
if
he
applied
to
the
finance
department,
because
we
have
a
cap
of
three
thousand
dollars,
but
each
resident,
Bay
County,
if
they've
fallen
behind
in
mortgage
rent
utility
bills,
can
come
in
and
make
the
case
there's
a
cap
of
three
thousand
dollars,
but
that
would
save
the
fund
a
little
bit
of
money.
Do
you
know
if
he
applied
it's.
F
F
The
reason
was
he's
in
the
process
of
getting
a
divorce
and
the
mortgage
company
said
they
would
work
with
him
and
it's
not
a
problem
to
not
pay
the
mortgage
and
get
caught
up
and
then
come
back
and
get
caught
up
in
the
mortgage,
and
then
they
said,
oh
no.
They
can't
do
that
and
I
believe.
There
are
two
children
in
the
house
as
well,
and
I
can
see
if
I
can't
find
their
ages
I.
F
Has
custody
I,
don't
know
if
it's
sole
custody
or
if
it's
joint
or
what
the
his
two
daughters,
11
and
13
and
a
son
that
is
10.
F
I
I
F
F
F
H
F
F
H
G
B
A
D
D
They
got
from
Congressman
kildee
SO,
waiting
on
that
to
rehab
some
more
housing,
but
a
lot
of
projects
have
been
on
hold
for
six
seven
months
and
and
as
far
as
the
I
inquired
recently-
and
they
said
the
only
thing
they
could
help
an
individual
with
housing
was
give
them
a
list
of
rentals,
but
it
was
outdated,
but
they
have
no
money
to
help
so
I
have
yeah.
We
had
a
bad
situation,
two
adults
and
two
children
under
all
unrelated
living,
400
square
foot
home
so
trying
to
get
help
for
the
78
year
old
gentleman.
D
H
Know
I
I
recommend
that
we
help
this
young
man
out
or
old
man
or
whatever
he
is.
You
know
if
we
don't
use
this
money
for
what
it's
designed
for
where's
it
going
to
go
to
Mr
markstrom's
little
hole
in
the
wall
down
here
we're
millions
of
dollars.
That's
never
going
to
do
anything,
so
my
recommendation
is
give
it
to
a
veteran
that
needs
it.
That's
what
those
funds
are
for.
G
F
H
B
F
I'm
not
sure
if
Gary
originally
interviewed
him,
it
was
probably
that
he
didn't
know
our
program
existed
and
until
he
talked
to
this
other
person
that
the
recommendation
to
even
apply.
H
D
D
This
is
the
hopefully
a
one
pack
with
mortgage
payments
later
get
it
figured
out,
get
whatever
advice
you
need,
because
it
is
a
sizable
Grant,
but
it's
one,
that's
worthy
I
think
I
agree
with
you
know
Mike
and
Troy's
assessment
that
that's
what
the
village
is
for
us
to
help
help
our
veterans
in
need,
and
just
a
few
years
ago
we
we
approved
five
thousand
for
a
new
boiler
for
a
Vietnam
veterans
terms
and
the
I'm
trying
to
think
the
plumbers
and
pipefitters
volunteered
the
labor
to
install
it,
and
that
was
five
thousand,
but
he
was
living
in
a
big
house
on
Fifth
Street,
with
no
heat
any
more
coat
yeah,
but
I
was
gonna.
D
I
wasn't
quite
finished.
I
was
going
to
tell
you
one
one
of
the
guys
that
was
a
repeat
customer
he's
he's
gone
away.
We
guided
him
into
getting
a
new
cell
phone.
He
was
locked
into
a
plan
where
he's
still
paid
by
the
minute
and
his
cell
phone
bills
were
between
four
and
five
hundred
dollars.
Every
month.
Oh
my
God
and
he
would
come
in
I
was
like
he
talked
and
he
would
come
in
every
month
and
get
paid
until
we
finally
explained
to
him.
D
G
D
H
Chairman
I
think
you
have
a
motion
on
the
floor
and
I
believe,
and
there
was
a
a
second
to
the
motion.
G
A
H
I
I
requested
that
this
be
put
on
the
itinerary
to
discuss
and
the
issue
becomes.
Are
we
going
to
continue
to
do
the
same
thing
we've
done
for
the
last
20
years?
We're
only
going
to
do
something
differently
at
the
county
level.
H
I
H
H
E
H
J
I'll
tell
you
why
I
think
that's
a
great
idea,
because
it's
our
our
service
members
and
Veterans
become
older
and
older.
It
gets
harder
and
harder
for
them
to
get
around
and
move
all
these
places
and
I
think
if
we
did
consolidate
it
to
to
one
Central,
Area
I
think
would
be
more
inviting
for
people
who
are
disabled
and
just
can't
wait
for
the
bus
to
go
here
or
whatever
and.
B
G
H
G
Not
just
for
Bay
County
I
I
hate
to
take
it
out
of
the
hands
of
the
Bay
County
veterans,
Council
and
I
you're
gonna
have
the
honor
guard
the
club
and
vets,
the
Vietnam
veterans
they're,
going
to
be
up
in
arms.
B
I
I
agree
with
Mike
and
Maryland.
We
do
five
to
seven
depends
on
how
my
guys
can
do
at
the
end
of
the
day,
consumer
World,
War,
II
vets.
We
do
our
five
every
year
and
then
we'll
try
doing
two,
but
at
the
end,
and
we
have
12
or
13
people
lives,
which
is
very
good.
But
five
is
about
the
limit
for
my
guys,
because
they've
got
Korean
war.
Vets
in
World,
War
II
bets
that
they
just
can't.
B
G
I
go
to
the
honor
guard
and
the
plot
did.
G
Have
had
a
lot
of
people
and
Saint
stands,
Sailors
rests,
I
mean
they
want
to
respect
their
relatives.
Maybe.
B
But
how
many
Maryland
are
being
attended?
I
think
it's
getting
that
there's
at
least
five
or
six
that
nobody
comes.
B
B
H
If
you're
gonna
go
with
that
same
schedule,
I
want
a
phone
number
that
I
can
call
give
to
people
that
call
the
American
Legion
wanting
to
know
what
time
and
where
the
ceremonies
are,
because
it
doesn't
get
posted
in
the
newspaper
it's
nowhere.
Nobody
knows
about
it.
They
call
me
and
all
I
do
is
go
pull
the
one
from
four
years
ago
out
and
look
at
it,
because
it's
the
same
damn
thing.
A
So
you
know
I
think
it
would
be
good
to
have
one
big
one
with
a
featured
speaker.
You
know
I
go
to
all
of
them
and
all
the
same
I
mean
so
it
gets
repetitive
after
a
while,
but
it
does
honor
the
people
of
different.
You
know:
floral
Gardens
has
their
own
ceremony
and
stuff,
so
it
probably
would
be
good
to
have
one
big
one
with
a
featured
speaker,
somebody
to
come
in
and
speak,
maybe
either
here
or
across
the
river
at
the
at
the
memorial
over
there
and
then
still
have
the
smaller
ones.
G
A
Between
now
and
Memorial
Day
to
maybe
set
up
some
meetings
and
maybe
come
to
decision
I
know
vets
Council
meets
the
first
Wednesday
of
the
month
at
the
plav
at
six
o'clock.
First.
A
That
probably
would
be
a
place
to
start
is
that
the
plav
at
the
first
Wednesday,
which
would
be
the
January
4th?
Maybe
maybe
we
could
try
to
have
more
people
involved?
And
it's
come
to
a
consensus
and
maybe
look
for
a
featured
speaker.
It
would
be
good
to
have
a
featured
speaker
to
come
in
and
maybe
draw
a
bigger
crowd.
Maybe.
H
G
J
A
So,
let's
maybe
leave
it
for
the
Vets
council
at
this
point
and
January
4th
at
six
o'clock
and
see
if
we
can
get
and
work
together
to
maybe
decide
and
maybe
maybe
try
to
find
a
bigger
ceremony
somewhere
to
have
have
some
featured
speaker
come
in
that
maybe
it
could
be
a
draw
like.
H
E
E
A
A
B
I
Myself
under
guard
at
the
cemeteries
through
the
years
I've
been
commander
of
vva
Color,
Guard
I've
eliminated
four
or
five,
because
it
was
too
much
for
what
there
is
right
now.
I
have
only
three
people
left
in
the
Color
Guard
from
BBA
in
September
of
21
I
think
it
was
a
9
20.
since
then,
until
first
this
year,
she's
Honda
we've
lost
12
members
to
either
clovid
and
heart
attacks
or
whatever
one
person
moved
away.
I
B
I
That's
called
the
color
guard.
Only
has
three
people
for
firing
squad
unless
the
Marine
Group
comes
in
and
joins
us
and.
B
Maybe
that's
when
you
speak
at
the
plot,
because
we've
I've
got
at
least
10
Riflemen
in
our
detail,
but
maybe
we
need
to
join
with
the
vets
of
the
county
and
maybe
join
together
with
that.
That's
a
good
point.
Our
details,
a
little
younger,
not
young,
our
youngest
guys,
probably
40
something
but
younger
than
the
other
details,
and
we
always
have
at
least
10
to
show
up
for
rifles.
So
maybe
I
can
go
to
that
meeting
and
maybe
we
can
see
if
we
can
work
some
guys
into
the
bed.
B
H
J
G
A
He
replaced
Maryland,
it's
going
to
be
hard
to
do.
Can't
do
that.
So
we
have.
We
have
one
candidate
who
has
come
forward.
Mr
van
Digby
stepped
up
and
submitted
his
name
to
replace
Maryland
Veterans
Affairs
committee,
and
we
we
make
a
recommendation
to
the
commission
and
then
they
they
vote
on
the
the
appointment.
So
at
this
time
there's
only
one
so
I
would
look
for
a
resolution
to
move
it
to
the
County
Commission
I.

A
A
Miscellaneous
I,
don't
have
any
miscellaneous.
I
do
have
a
certificate
here
that
has
state
of
Michigan
County
of
bay.
The
county
executive
on
behalf
of
the
citizens
of
Bay
County,
is
proud
to
present
the
certificate
of
appreciation
to
Maryland
K
Lazar
for
your
service
on
the
Bay
County
Department
of
Veterans
Affairs
committee,
and
for
you
many
years
of
supporting
Bay
County
veterans
and
it's
signed
by
County,
Executive,
Marsha
and
myself.
So
I
think
we
can
maybe
come
forward
and
maybe
give
it
to
her
here.
G
J
With
respect
to
the
monument
for
fuel,
that
request
was
passed
me
several
years
ago
by
Warren
Smith
who's,
a
member
of
that
church,
yes
and
I-
know
he's
still
interested
in
this.
Yes,
we're
looking
for
an
engraver
I'll
bet,
Warren
Smith
would
be
willing
to
go
out
and
find
him.

Financial
advice
for
financial
planning,
advice,
I
guess
for
a
better
word,
so
one
of
the
things
that
our
office
does
is
we
coordinate
with
other
veteran
groups,
for
example,
Mr
markstrom's
group,
I,
Gary
and
I
usually
attend
his
meeting.
So
if
there
are
questions,
people
know
who
we
are,
they
know
where
to
go.
We
get
answers
to
questions.
One
of
the
other
groups
that
I
go
to
is
the
Great
Lakes
Bay
Veterans
I
was
going
to
get
it
wrong.
F
B
F
It
at
the
vet
center
Mark.
No,
this
one
meets
actually,
we've
met
at
the
Armory,
so
it's
the
Great
Lakes
Bay
Veterans
Coalition.
So
what
they've
done
is
one
of
the
things
that
they're
trying
to
do
that
we
used
to
do
before
covid
and
before
the
state
took
over
again.
Was
this
Regional
veteran
coordinating
body?
F
F
You
know
the
Michigan
veteran
their
Michigan
Community,
Action
Agency,
so
I
attended
their
meeting
and
unfortunately,
my
myself
and
the
the
Midland
vso
and
the
new
Saginaw
vso
or
pigeonholed
as
far
as
what
we
can
provide
to
the
legislative
and
other
constraints
has
to
be
County
members,
et
cetera,
et
cetera,
but
one
of
the
questions
one
of
the
other
members
there
is
from
Huntington,
Bank
and
so
I'm
on
this.
What
do
they
call
it?
F
The
like
an
organizing
committee
type,
where
we're
trying
to
meet
regionally
like
Bay
County,
the
secondary
County,
Midland
County
and
then
meet
back
together
in
the
new
year
sometime
so
I'd,
ask
them
I
said:
are
there
any
sort
of
materials
budget
wise
that
they
would
have
that
we
could
even
just
put
on
our
table
saying
hey?
If
you
have
a
question
on
how
to
do
a
budget?
How
do
you
do
your
monthly
budget?
