Description
Deputy Leader Cllr Philip Broadhead joined Charlotte Fantelli, Owner at Branded Studios, to talk about the recent Bounce Back Challenge Fund grant awarded to them from BCP Council, and how they are using it to help and support other local businesses to bounce back from the pandemic.
A
Hi,
I'm
phil
broadhead,
deputy
leader
of
bcp
council
in
the
modern
world,
social
media
content
creation,
and
things
like
that
are
really
king,
especially
with
new
and
emerging
businesses
that
are
really
trying
to
bounce
back
from
the
pandemic.
What
we've
done
as
part
of
our
bounce
back
challenge
fund
is
to
help
local
businesses
unlock
creative
proposals
that
can
help
their
businesses
and
others
to
bounce
back
from
the
pandemic.
A
B
Thank
you
very
much
yes,
so
we
heard
about
the
grant
availability
and
we
thought
that
we
were
perfectly
placed
for
two
reasons.
One
is
because
we
understand
as
a
local
business
with
studios
that
were
affected
by
you,
know
the
various
lock
bands,
etc.
We
understood
the
challenges
of
other
local
businesses
and
we
really
wanted
to
use
our
skills
to
help.
People
spread
the
message
about
their
business
tap
into
audiences
that
perhaps
they
haven't
either
tapped
into
in
the
past
or
to
just
unlock
new
audiences
from
for
them.
B
Obviously,
in
sort
of
the
pandemic,
people
are
looking
online.
A
lot
more
people
really
are
relying
less
on
word
of
mind
on
social
occasions,
because
you're.
B
B
So
we
came
up
with
the
idea
of
creating
short
promotional
videos
that
can
be
used
on
social
media
and
websites
etc
to
help
businesses
to
share
their
stories
of
you
know,
bouncing
back
what
they're
doing
now
share
their
ideas
and
inspire
their
audiences
and
really
communicate
with
audiences
who
are
at
home
perhaps-
and
we
are
able
to
do
that
with
the
help
of
the
bcp
grant
and
and
yeah
so
35
local
businesses
will
be
getting
a
completely
free
to
them.
Promotional,
video,
fantastic.
A
B
Absolutely
absolutely
and
we've
got
two
strands
for
our
business.
We've
got
the
film
and
tv
strand
and
we've
got
the
corporate
strands
and
as
soon
as
the
pandemic
started
the
corporate
strand,
which,
if
I'm
completely
honest,
is
this
sort
of
quick
cash
flow
turnaround.
That's
what
keeps
the
lights
on
and
the
staff
you
know
paid
that
really
did
dry
up
hugely
and-
and
I
fully
understand
corporates
didn't-
want
film
crew
coming
into
their
their
businesses
during
the
time
of
pandemic,
and
nor
would
we
have
been
able
to
or
sort
of
wanted
to.
B
So
we
fully
understand
how
our
business
was
affected.
We
also
understand
that
we
had
to
adapt
and
you
know,
create
new
roles
within
the
business,
to
try
different
things
and
and
pour
our
attention
into
areas
that
were
making
us
money.
So
we
understand
the
challenges
of
other
local
businesses
and
and
equally
where
we
are
now
having
opened
up
and
taken.
You
know
this,
this
wonderful
grant
from
the
bc
bcp
council
that
we
have
been
able
to
funny
enough
take
on
one
of
our
freelance
camera
operators.
B
We
actually
managed
to
offer
them
a
full-time
position.
Thanks
to
this
initiative
as
well,
so
it's
already
impacted
our
business
and
now
what
we
need
to
do
is
go
and
create
yeah
and
help
others.
So.
A
Fantastic
well
a
fantastic
initiative,
creating
jobs,
helping
other
businesses
to
bounce
back
better.
We
look
forward
to
seeing
their
videos
showing
what
they're
doing
and
stay
tuned
to
this
channel,
where
we'll
also
be
showcasing
other
supported
projects
from
the
bounce
back
challenge
in
the
future.
As.
