From YouTube: How to make hand sanitiser pouches with Katy
Description
In this video Katy shows you how to make a pouch for your sanitiser and turn it into a handy keychain!
A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
to
another
bcb
library,
video.
My
name
is
katie,
and
today
I'm
going
to
show
you
how
you
can
make
this
hand
sanitizer
keychain
and
a
little
pouch
for
your
hand,
sanitizer
you
don't
necessarily
have
to
use
these
for
your
hand,
sanitizer.
You
can
adapt
them
if
you
want
to,
but
I
thought
it
would
be
a
good
idea
to
make
something
to
brighten
up
our
sanitizers.
A
A
Making
sure
the
pattern
side
of
the
fabric
or
the
front
side
is
facing
inwards,
because
we
are
going
to
sew
it
up
and
turn
it
back
the
right
way
afterwards.
So
I
pinned
my
fabric
together
like
this,
and
then
I
got
a
pencil
and
ruler
because
we
need
to
mark
out
where
the
string
is
going
to
go.
So
you
need
to
mark
out
two
centimeters
from
the
top
like
this
on
both
sides
and
then
add
another
centimeter
mark.
A
So
it's
two
centimeters,
then
one
centimeter
and
making
sure
that
the
sanitizer
still
fits
underneath
the
one
centimeter
line,
and
then
we
need
to
sew
it
together.
But
what
we
need
to
do
is
we
need
to
start
from
the
top
and
go
to
the
first
marker
and
then
stop
and
then
start
again
at
the
second
marker.
So
you
end
up
leaving
a
little
gap
either
side,
and
this
is
where
our
string
will
go
through
at
the
end.
A
So
we
just
need
to
sew
up
the
bag,
all
the
way
down
each
side
and
I'm
just
doing
a
simple
running
stitch
going
all
the
way
along
and
then
coming
back
and
filling
up
the
gaps
and
sewing
isn't
a
strength
of
mine.
So
it
doesn't
really
matter
if
it's
not
100
neat,
because
this
is
going
to
be
turned
inside
out.
But
maybe
you
can
draw
a
line
if
you
want
to
make
it
a
straight
line.
A
Just
draw
a
line
with
your
pencil
ruler
that
will
work
and
just
sew
along
the
line,
but
it
doesn't
really
matter
because
it's
going
to
be
inside
out
and
once
you
have
sewn
along
both
sides,
leaving
your
gap
for
the
string.
We
then
need
to
take
the
bag
and
put
it
the
right
way
and
just
like
I'm
doing
here,
turn
the
bag.
A
The
right
way
and
make
sure
all
of
the
corners
are
fully
pushed
out,
and
then
you
need
to
fold
down
the
opening
of
the
bag,
making
sure
you
can
see
the
little
hole
at
the
side
and
then
sew
all
the
way
around,
and
you
can
pin
it
down
first
and
just
sew
down
that
opening
to
give
it
a
nice
clean
edge.
And
then
we
need
to
add
the
draw
string
once
that
is
sewn.
A
A
I
added
some
string
to
a
pin
because
the
pin
has
quite
a
nice
round
head,
so
you
can
feel
it
when
you're
pushing
it
in,
and
you
just
need
to
thread
a
piece
of
string
all
the
way
around
one
opening
and
all
the
way
around
that
other
opening
and
then
tie
off
with
a
knot.
And
then
that
will
make
the
drawstring
close
so
quite
simple
and
very
effective,
and
you
don't
have
to
store
your
sanitizer
in
it.
If
you
don't
want
to
it's
totally
up
to
you.
A
So
for
this
sanitizer
cover,
what
you
need
is
just
a
piece
of
fabric
that
fits
snugly
around
your
sanitizer.
That
just
covers
the
label
and
you
just
need
to
make
it
a
tiny
bit
longer
and
you
can
embellish
it
if
you
like.
I've
just
got
a
scrap
of
denim
left
over
from
my
work,
apron
that
I
made
a
few
weeks
ago
and
I'm
just
sewing
on
a
few
sequins
and
buttons.
But
again
this
is
totally
up
to
you.
A
You
maybe
have
some
fabric
paint
you
want
to
paint
on,
or
you
might
want
to
leave
it
plain
because
your
fabric
already
has
a
pattern.
That's
totally
fine!
You
don't
have
to
embellish
it.
It's
just
your
personal
taste,
I'm
adding
a
star
a
pencil
and
a
heart
just
to
jazz
it
up
a
little
bit,
and
once
you
have
sewn
all
your
embellishments
in
place,
you
don't
have
to
be
too
neat
about
the
back
side
of
it
because
we
are
going
to
be
sticking
it
completely
down
to
the
sanitizer.
A
But
once
you
have
completed
your
little
embellishments,
you
just
need
to
make
sure
they
are
all
secure,
and
once
you
have
secured
all
your
embellishments
in
place,
you
then
need
to
take
a
hot
glue
gun
if
you
have
one,
if
you
don't
have
one.
Some
super
glue
is
fine
and
just
put
some
glue
along
the
edge
of
your
piece
of
fabric
and
attach
it
to
your
sanitizer,
and
you
just
need
to
wrap
it
all
the
way
around
quite
tightly
and
the
hot
glue
should
stick
quite
nicely
to
the
label.
A
The
fabric
and
the
label
will
melt
quite
nicely
into
the
glue.
So
you
don't
have
to
worry
about
it
coming
apart
and
I'm
just
attaching
a
key
ring
to
the
back
before
I
completely
stick
it
down.
So
you
stick
most
of
the
back
part
down
and
just
add
a
bit
of
glue
and
then
insert
the
key
ring
before
you
fold
the
fabric
completely
over,
and
then
this
will
act
as
a
nice
little
keychain.
A
A
So
those
are
my
two
hand
sanitizer
pouches,
and
covers
it's
totally
up
to
you.
How
you
want
to
do
yours?
Maybe
you
want
to
make
a
bag
for
something
else.
Maybe
you
want
to
jazz
up
your
hand
sanitizer
with
maybe
your
favorite
characters,
your
favorite
color,
it's
totally
up
to
you!
So
why
don't
you
give
it
a
go.
