From YouTube: How to write a book review with Katy
Description
In this video, Katy shows you how to write a book review. As the Summer Reading Challenge is all online this year, we will miss talking to you about your reading! However, you can still show us what you have been reading by sending us a book review, just tag us on social media. You can either use the template or design your own. You can download the template here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L5G38H6MbdRas5jtw6K788v5dR0nqSSb/view?usp=sharing
A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
to
another
BCP
library,
youtube
video.
My
name
is
Katie,
and
today
we
are
going
to
be
making
a
book
review
and
I
have
made
this
template
here
and
I'm
going
to
be
filling
this
in
shortly,
and
you
can
download
this
if
you
want
to,
and
that
is
going
to
be
in
the
description
down
below,
so
you
can
download
it
and
print
it
off
and
fill
it
in
yourself
or
you
can
make
your
own
up.
It's
totally
up
to
you.
This
is
about
you
expressing
your
views
and
opinions
on
the
books.
A
You
have
read
and
the
reason
I'm
making
this
video
is
because
we
are
now
in
the
season
of
the
solar
reading
challenge.
You
might
have
seen
a
video
already
and
BCP
libraries
will
be
putting
out
some
more
Sun
reading
challenge
related
content
over
the
summer,
so
do
keep
a
lookout
for
that,
but
normally
during
the
summer
reading
challenge
we
asked
you
to
come
and
tell
us
all
about
the
books
you
have
read
and
at
the
moment
we
can't
really
do
that
because
we
have
to
be
safe
and
we
have
to
socially
distance.
A
A
So,
first
of
all,
when
we're
writing
a
book
review,
we
want
to
talk
about
what
the
book
is
about.
We
want
to
summarize
what's
in
the
book,
so
other
people
know
a
little
bit
what
it's
about,
but
we
don't
want
to
spoil
the
book,
so
we
don't
want
to
give
away
too
much
of
what
happens,
because
that
means
that
someone
looking
at
the
bit
of
you
might
be
like.
A
A
A
A
So
now
we
we're
going
to
this
section,
which
is
just
highlighting
who
the
main
characters
of
the
book
are.
So,
of
course,
we
have
Tracy.
We
also
have
Jess,
we
have
Sean,
Cam
and
I.
Think
that's
it
for
the
main
characters.
So
now
we're
moving
on
down
here.
This
book
made
me
feel,
and
we
have
some
emojis
along
here
and
I
am
going
to
color
in
the
ones
that
I
think
fit.
A
A
A
If
you
don't
have
a
gold,
you
could
just
curl
them
in
whatever
color
you
like
so
now,
I'm
going
to
move
on
to
what
I
liked
and
didn't
like.
So
first
of
all
in
this
bubble
here
it
says
I
liked
so
I
liked
the
returning
characters,
because
when
I
was
about
10
years
old,
I
read
Tracy,
Beaker
and
I
liked
all
the
characters.
So
it
was
good
to
see
what
they
were
doing
now.
They're
grown-up.
A
If
there
isn't
anything
you
don't
like,
then
you
can
just
leave
it
blank
or
write
nothing
in
there
and
now
there's
this
book
in
free
words.
So
this
little
section
is
just
free
words
that
you
can
think
of
that
describe
the
book
so
I'm
going
to
use
the
word
funny,
because
it
was
quite
funny
in
places
and
I
can
use
a
big
word
now
and
that's
nostalgic,
and
that
just
means
that
it
makes
me
think
about
my
childhood.
A
A
Funny
must
alg
ik
and
eventful
cuz
lots.
Have
lots
of
things
happen
to
Tracy
and
Jess,
and
in
this
space
here
on
this
easel,
there
is
room
for
us
to
draw
a
picture
so
I'm
going
to
draw
a
picture
of
Tracy.
Yes,
that
does
remind
me
actually
another
thing
that
I
liked
about
this
book
was
the
illustrations,
because
I
liked
the
illustrator
who
is
Nick
Sharat.
He
illustrates
all
of
Jacqueline
Wilson
books,
so
I
like
the
illustrations
and
drawings.
A
A
So
that's
my
book
review
or
written,
and
if
you
want
to
write
a
little
bit
more
about
the
book,
you've
read
you
want
to
go
into
a
little
bit
more
detail.
You
can
always
design
your
own
review
or
turn
the
piece
of
paper
over
and
write
more
on
the
back.
So
now
I
finished
my
writing.
I'm
going
to
decorate
this
and
color
this
in.
A
A
A
So
here
is
my
finished
book
review
I'm
really
pleased
with
it
I've
added
some
stickers
and
some
gems
and
I've
colored
it
in
so
you
can
download
this
for
yourself
and
complete
it
or
you
can
design
your
own
book
review.
Maybe
you've
got
some
creative
ideas
to
express
how
you
enjoyed
or
didn't
quite
like
the
book.
It's
totally
up
to
you
don't
forget
to
register
for
the
summer
Reading
Challenge
online,
and
once
you
have
loved
the
books
there.
A
Maybe
you
could
write
a
book
review
similar
to
this
one
or
download
this
one,
because
we
really
are
going
to
miss
talking
to
you
over
the
summer
about
what
you've
been
reading,
because
we
really
do
enjoy
listening
to
you
and
listening
to
your
opinions
on
books.
So
this
is
the
way
that
you
can
tell
us.
If
you
do
a
book
review
like
this,
then
please
do
send
it
to
us.
We
are
BCP
libraries
on
Twitter
and
Facebook.
