A
Hello,
everyone
and
welcome
back
to
another
bcp
library,
video.
My
name
is
katie
and
today
I'm
going
to
be
giving
you
eight
tips
for
adult
coloring
and
you
can
use
these
in
adult
coloring
books
or
add
up
coloring
pages
and
they're
mainly
going
to
be
referring
to
color
pencils,
while
you're
coloring
in
I
might
do
another
video
for
the
libraries
talking
about
how
to
use
markers.
But
for
now
this
is
just
about
color
pencils
and
you
can
download
this
coloring
page
in
the
link
in
the
description
down
below.
A
If
you
would
like
to
color
it
too,
and
when
I'm
doing
coloring
pages
or
coloring.
In
some
of
my
art,
I
like
to
listen
to
audio
books,
and
this
is
just
a
reminder
that
bcp
libraries
subscribe
to
a
service
called
borrow
box,
which
is
where
you
can
input
your
library
card
details
and
borrow
some
audio
books
free
of
charge,
and
this
is
a
great
thing
to
do
when
you
are
doing
something
creative.
A
So
I'm
just
going
to
put
the
book
that
I'm
listening
to
I'm
listening
to
a
book
all
about
mary,
queen
of
scots
and
elizabeth,
so
on
to
the
coloring
tips.
My
first
tip
for
you
is
to
keep
your
pencils
sharp
and
I'm
just
using
a
well-known
children's
brand
of
color
pencils.
You
don't
need
expensive
pencils.
Just
invest
in
a
decent
children's
brand
is
fine
or
just
a
normal
brand
that
you
would
find
at
the
supermarket,
and
you
just
need
to
keep
them
sharp.
A
Even
if
you
are
coloring
in
big
areas,
because
you
can
use
the
side
of
the
pencil
and
tip
number
two
is
to
use
three
tones
so
for
the
hair,
I
am
using
two
tones
of
brown,
a
lighter
brown
and
a
darker
brown
and
a
kind
of
a
dark
yellow
because
she's
having
brown
hair.
But
the
yellow
tone
will
just
warm
it
up
a
little
bit.
So
we
start
with
our
mid-tone.
A
So
I'm
using
the
darker
tone
at
the
top
of
the
hair,
the
bottom
of
the
hair
and
along
the
side
of
the
face,
because
that's
where
the
shadow
will
be
and
then
I'm
going
to
use
my
yellow
to
just
blend
it
all
out
and
the
yellow
just
really
lifts
it.
So
just
finishing
off
the
yellow
here
and
then
you
can
go
in
with
your
mid
tone
again
just
to
blend
the
darker
color
into
the
lighter
color
and,
if
you're,
using
free
tones
instead
of
one
tone.
A
So
my
next
tip
for
you
is
to
use
your
eraser
and
what
this
can
do
is
it
will
lift
some
of
the
color
off.
So
I'm
doing
it
with
the
hair.
Just
to
add
some
highlights,
I'm
just
lifting
some
of
the
color
off
where
the
highlights
would
be,
and
that
just
makes
it
that
little
bit
lighter
and
just
gives
it
that
little
bit
more
of
a
3d
effect.
A
A
I'm
just
building
up
lots
of
light
layers,
I'm
not
pressing
hard.
I'm
only
going
to
press
harder
with
my
pencils
on
the
upper
layers,
and
this
is
my
finished
face.
There
was
quite
a
few
layers
in
this
and
I'm
quite
happy
with
how
it
turned
out.
So
my
next
tip
for
you
is
to
limit
your
color
choices
so
for
her
dress
and
her
feathers,
I'm
just
using
some
greens
and
blues
I'm
not
going
to
do
lots
of
different
colors.
A
A
And
my
next
tip
for
you
is
to
use
the
white
pencil
to
blend
so
as
well
as
using
an
eraser.
You
can
use
a
white
pencil
to
blend
in
your
colors,
because
the
white
pencil
isn't
always
that
useful.
But
I
find
it
quite
useful
for
blending
and
especially
in
her
face,
I'm
just
going
to
blend
all
the
colors
together,
especially
in
the
lighter
parts
and
in
the
hair.
Going
back
over
where
I
erased
earlier.
A
After
that,
I
am
going
to
add
some
gel
pens,
because
gel
pens
will
go
over
the
top
of
color
pencils,
so
I'm
using
some
sparkly
gel
pens
just
to
color
in
her
jewelry
and
just
adding
a
little
bit
of
lift
to
certain
areas.
So
I'm
putting
it
in
the
dress
and
just
adding
an
extra
pattern
in
a
sparkly
green,
the
gel
pens.
You
can
pick
up
quite
cheaply
and
they
are
quite
good
for
adult
coloring.
A
So
my
final
tip
for
you
is
to
not
use
black
when
you
are
shading-
and
this
might
seem
quite
tempting
to
do
you
might
think.
Oh,
yes,
the
black
is
going
to
shade
really
nicely,
but
it
really
does
kind
of
deaden
the
colors
a
little
bit
so
use
a
blue.
I
used
a
blue
in
the
hair
just
to
add
extra
depth
to
the
shadow
and
a
brown
on
the
skin.
