If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
A
Okay
is
mr
smith
on.
I.
D
A
A
I'll,
second,
that
all
in
favor
hi
hi
unanimous,
I
feel
like
I'm
running
the
clubhouse
okay.
Let's
start
then,
first
agenda
on
first
item
on
the
agenda
is
an
update
on
our
technology
assessment
and
mr
shohan
has
provided
us
with
an
executive
summary.
So
if
you
want
to
get
started,
mr
shohan
we'll
get
this
thing
going.
D
E
Okay,
for
a
little
rundown
for
the
rfp,
it
was
published
for
proposals
in
december.
All
submissions
were
received
and
the
window
closed
in
january.
I
want
to
say
january
12th
or
14th.
E
I
want
to
say
12
and
eight
were
accepted
to
be
reviewed.
A
I
have
a
couple
of
questions
so
if
you
don't
have
anything
else,
colonel
gyro,
so
when
read
through
the
rfp,
it's
it's
unclear
to
me
in
the
chicken
and
egg
kind
of
discussion.
Is
the
assessment
going
to
be
used
to
determine
our
infra
our
technology
strategic
plan,
or
is
our
top
technology
strategic
plan
going
to
be
used
to
determine
the
needs
of
the
assessment.
E
I
would
say
both
they
are
going
to
review
all
data
that
we
currently
have
with
our
disaster
recovery
plan
with
the
current
technology
plan,
which
is
a
small
submission
plan
to
the
state
for
this
year
and
they're,
also
going
to
connect,
conduct,
employee
and
surveys
and
make
site
visits
to
determine
so
they're
going
to
basically
come
in
from
an
outside
perspective.
E
To
give
us
an
idea
of
how
we
line
up
to
industry
standards
and
other
districts
that
they've
evaluated.
A
And
that
was
one
of
my
other
questions
because
it
said
I
was
trying
to
find
the
spot
under
the
frequently
asked
questions
that
how
many
buildings
are
in
scope
and
the
answer
is
we
have
over
40
locations,
but
the
district
office
will
be
the
main
focus.
Can
you
talk
about
the
site
visits
or
how
that's
going
to
work?
Correct.
E
E
Just
for
the
simple
fact
that
when
we
put
in
technology
minus
the
upgrades
from
the
new
referendum
work,
we
put
in
the
same
systems
in
every
one
of
our
buildings.
So
we
basically
said
they
could
do
a
sample
to
one
keep
the
cost
down
and
to
increase
the
efficiency
and
time
of
this
assessment.
A
C
E
I
would
more
than
likely
assume
six
to
eight
getting
two
elementaries
two
middles
two
high
schools
and
they'll
probably
want
to
look
at
one
of
our
k
through
8
schools,
our
academy
schools,
to
kind
of
see
how
they're
doing
it
compared
to
the
middle
slash,
elementaries.
A
Okay
and
dick
just
interrupt
me
if
you
have
a
question,
I
just
have
a
couple
more
just
quick
ones,
one
of
the
things
under
scope
when
it
talks
about
expectations
introductory
meaning
data
collection,
says
anonymous.
Teacher
surveys
are
there
going
to
be
any
surveys
to
parents
or
community
partners,
or
is
it
just
focusing
on
the
teachers
and
staff.
E
E
We
consider
parents
are
one
of
our
our
customers
or
stakeholders,
so
we
do
like
to
see
how
we
stack
up
in
their
eyes.
A
Yeah
because
educators
use
it
differently
than
learners
and
that
sort
of
thing
so
that's
great,
and
then
I
think
I
have
one
more
so
don't
mind
under
software
systems.
Are
we
going
to
be
looking
at
like
interoperability
redundancy
when
it
talks
about
evaluation
of
current
software,
selections
for
function
and
relevance.
E
A
A
E
And
one
of
the
cloud
parts
is
for
mainly
security
and
operability
in
our
fluid
situation
with
viruses
right
now
at
any
given
time
we
could
say:
hey
our
staff,
all
students
go
home
and
we
want
to
make
sure
our
staff
members
can
do
the
same
job
functions
remotely
as
they
can
in
the
office
in
those
times
of
need.
E
Badging
system,
we
have
a
lot
of
environmental
systems
also,
so
a
lot
of
our
ac
systems
and
our
facility
systems
tie
into
the
network
on
some
aspects.
We're
seeing
that
more
and
more
as
time
goes
on
in
every
system,
we
bring
up
from
the
ac
to
everything
from
the
cameras
to
in-room
sound
everything
is
moving
away
from
the
old
low
voltage
wiring
and
moving
over
to
the
network
side
to
be
readily
available.
Data.
A
E
So
we
do
have
some
interesting
information
on
the
department
of
the
over
the
office
of
regulatory
staffing
has
asked
that
we
put
out
an
email
to
our
staff.
Parents
they're,
basically
collecting
more
information
on
who
has
what
what
speed
or
the
reasons
why
different
addresses
of
our
students
do
not
have
broadband
internet
and
they're
collecting
this
data,
because
the
state
department
or
the
excuse
me
state
of
south
carolina
will
be
voting
in
april
to
allocate
more
money
to
facilitate
the
broadband
initiative.
E
So
they're
going
to
be
taking
the
survey
data
and
then
putting
a
dollar
amount
for
each
county
on
it.
We've
been
in
communications
with
our
county
level.
Administrators
we've
had
a
lot
of
discussions
with
jared
fralick
he's
the
assistant
county
administrator
of
engineering
and
the
county
has
been
very
involved
in
trying
to
push
this.
It's
going
to
drive
funding
towards
the
county
and
the
school
district.
E
More
than
likely,
he
would
be
also
a
good
person
to
probably
have
at
one
of
our
upcoming
meetings,
just
to
talk
about
a
little
bit
about
what
the
county
is
doing
and
get
their
take
on
where
they're
looking
at
and
moving
towards.
E
I
think
they've
adjusted
their
opinion
from
when
we
first
started
having
conversations
about
five
or
six
months
ago
of
the
directions
they
really
want
to
get,
and
I
think
they're
more
focused
on
getting
the
fiber
in
the
ground
and
the
hard
wires
to
our
sites.
Instead
of
trying
to
do
other
options
like
starlink
or
different
cellular
wireless
configurations,
that
is
one
of
the
things
in
the
survey.
They
are
collecting
a
lot
on
wireless.
E
That
is
the
second
part
of
the
sc
broadband
connect
that
program
their
first
part
of
the
program
was
to
lay
out
all
the
fiber
optics
and
hardwired
lines
throughout
the
state
they
completed
that
last
year
and
they
have
been
working
diligently
to
overlay
a
wireless
mapping
of
all
cellular
4g
5g
services
for
the
whole
state,
so
they'll
get
a
better
picture
of
that.
Also.
D
C
Colonel
guyer,
yes
mark
what
internet
speed
says
that
you
have
broadband.
E
That
depends
on
who
you
ask
and
what
you're
doing
with
it
for
our
children,
we
would
prefer
having
a
20
to
25
meg
type,
for
the
simple
fact
that
when
you
start
doing
a
zoom
windows,
you've
got
your
zoom
window.
Up.
Talking
to
your
teacher,
you
also
have
your
I
ready
window
you're
working
on
curriculum
or
makeup
work
that
is
going
to
probably
take
anywhere
from
five
to
ten
megs.
So
if
you
have
two
kids
in
your
household
20
to
25,
megs
is
going
to
be
about
what
you
want
to
be.
E
C
You
see-
that's
that's
somewhat
concerning
to
me
and
that
when
you
give
people
broadband,
you
also
create
a
demand
for
other
than
educational
uses.
For
that
broadband,
and
I
just
you
know
I
was
at
20
megs
here
and
now,
I'm
at
200
and
and
it's
barely
keeping
up
with
the
with
the
demand
that
I
get
from
zooming
and
from
the
wife
watching
things
and
all
the
other
devices
from
my
router
I've
got.
I've
got
12
devices
hooked
to
my
router
right
now
and
20
megs
is
well.
That
is
that
is
really
minimal.
C
E
Absolutely-
and
you
made
a
key
point-
there
is
how
many
items
you
have
connected
to
your
wireless
and
most
people
don't
realize
that.
But
people
are
moving
away
from
the
satellite
and
cable
television
and
going
to
streaming
and
most
of
those
streams,
if
you
do
a
high
definition
stream,
you're
talking
at
least
one
mega
second
continuously,
and
that
ramps
up
pretty
fast
when
you
get
into
the
ultra
high
defs
and
some
of
the
the
greater
bandwidth
video
streams.
A
When
I
I
had
a
conversation
with
jim
strizzinger
about
this,
and
he
said
that
basically
for
the
funding,
it
has
to
be
120
that
they
will
not
accept
25
3
for
public
funding
and
that's
written
into
the
federal
code.
So
that's
just
what
he
told
me,
so
my
guess
is
we're
going
to
have
to
put
in
120.,
which
is
a
whole
lot
better.
Yes,.
A
Okay,
colonel
guy,
do
you
have
an
additional
question?
Okay,
I
have
a
couple.
Let's
see
we
were
taught.
Oh,
so
one
thing
is:
is
this
broadband
access?
A
Is
it
going
to
focus
on
the
actual
physical
access
like
who
can
actually
connect
to
a
wire,
or
are
we
also
going
to
look
at
affordability,
because
I
think
there
are
a
lot
of
students
who
maybe
are
on
the
fiber
network
that
live
like
on
hilton
head,
maybe
in
a
lower
income,
housing
unit
or
something
but
no
one's
paying
for
wireless,
so
they
still
don't
have
wireless.
Is
that
part
of
this
survey
or
is
it
strictly
looking
at
the
hardware.
E
No,
actually,
the
affordability
gap
is
one
of
the
pieces
in
this
survey.
So
they
are
asking
that
question
that
you
know
if
you
do
have
availability
for
broadband.
Why
is
it?
Why
are
you
not
using
it
and
then
they
go
into
a
separate
section
of?
Is
it
due
to
the
money
aspect?
E
You
know
some
kind
of
family
issue
going
on
so
they're
trying
to
definitely
get
more
in
the
nitty-gritty,
because
we
know
we
have
a
lot
of
families
that
are
not
reporting
it
right
and
that's
one
of
the
reasons
why
we're
doing
multiple
outlets
to
try
to
get
a
hold
of
our
families.
We're
not
only
going
to
push
out
the
bright
arrow
communication,
but
we
found
that
our
most
in
need.
A
And
that
was
my
second
question,
because
I
do
think
that
whenever
you
communicate
in
the
schools,
you
have
to
kind
of
take
a
shotgun
approach.
You
know
scatter
see
many
different
ways
of
getting
as
possible,
but
one
of
my
concerns
is
making
sure
that
someone's
got
to
be
tracking
like
here's,
our
student
population
have
they
submitted,
because
I
don't
want
to
see
like
one
person
I
could
see
me
accidentally
filling
it
out
multiple
times
because
it
gets
emailed
to
me.
I
get
it.
You
know
someone
asks
my
son
at
school.
A
E
Generally
speaking,
when
we
put
out
these
in
surveymonkey
or
the
state
puts
out
these
google
forms
they're
able
to
see
the
ip
address
that
puts
out
the
initial
response
back.
So
they
can
run
a
dedupe
filter
on
that
database
to
try
to
rule
out
multiple
submissions.
E
But
you
got
to
be
careful
with
that,
because
sometimes
you
may
have
multiple
families
living
in
on
a
piece
of
property
or
something
like
that:
sharing
an
internet,
possibly
sharing
a
phone,
so
I'm
sure
they
will
take
that
into
account.
A
Yeah,
it
just
seems
like
it
might
be
kind
of
chaotic,
like
you
said,
people
different
circumstances,
mr
smith.
Welcome
to
the
medium
did
you
I
don't
know
if
you
saw
the
presentation,
do
you
have
any
questions
regarding
the
survey
for
broadband
access.
A
Mr
smith,
I'll
be,
he
might
be
still
connecting,
we
can
circle
back
at
the
end
of
the
meeting.
The
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
the
discussion
of
the
technology
strategic
plan.
A
We're
on
item
g
discussion
of
technology,
strategic
plan-
I
don't
know
if
you've
heard
the
update
on
the
survey-
that's
going
to
go
out
to
students
about
broadband
availability
and
if
you
had
any
questions
about
on
that
before
we
moved
on.
A
Mr
shohen,
whenever
you're
ready,
you
can
just
give
us
a
quick.
You
know
my
thing.
My
question
with
this
was:
I
know:
we've
got
the
old
one,
still
kind
of
on
file
up
through
2019
and
then
there's
been
some
some
issues
surrounding
covet
and
some
revamping
and
now
we
have
this
different
format.
So
if
you
just
want
to
talk
about
that.
E
Yeah
the
state
took
about
three
years
and
they
kept
saying
they
were
going
to
get
us
a
new
template
that
started
in
2018
2019
rolled
around.
When
we
were
supposed
to
renew
and
they
said
please
hold
off,
then
we
rolled
into
2020
and
covet
hit.
The
state
has
finally
put
out
their
2020
2021
through
2024
plan
and
are
asking
that
the
districts
have
their
full
plan
in
by
next
school
year.
So
this
summer
we
will
have
to
get
our
main
plan
revamped
for
the
next
three
years.
E
Correct
correct:
it's
basically
the
stop
gap
to
get
us
through
to
we
can
complete
this
survey.
An
assessment
have
them
look
at
what
we're
doing
make
sure
we're
headed
in
the
right
direction,
and
we
will
update
our
plan
this
spring
and
have
it
ready
for
summer
submission.
A
How's
that
going
to
work
with
the
technology
assessment,
if
we're
kind
of
in
this
limbo,
on
the
strategic
planning.
E
Well,
we're
hoping
that
they
can
look
at
our
old
plan,
the
current
state
plan
and
extrapolate
using
their
knowledge
of
other
school
districts.
That's
one
of
the
key
things
we
focused
on.
We
got
a
lot
of
submissions
from
companies,
but
a
lot
of
these
companies
have
never
dealt
with
school
districts
or
they
dealt
with
a
school
district
with
you
know
a
charter
school
with
maybe
a
few
hundred
students
to
a
thousand
students.
E
Just
because
of
the
the
the
vast
difference
in
operational
capacity.
It's
hard
to
compare
those
and
we
definitely
wanted
a
provider
that
had
some
knowledge
in
our
size.
Space.
A
So
I
don't
think
we
need
to
go
over
the
plan,
it's
in
board
docs
and
it's
just
kind
of
a
little
bit
of
a
summary,
more
or
less.
But
I
don't
know
if
colonel
guy
or
mr
smith
have
any
questions
with
regards
to
what
you
did
provide.
A
Yeah-
and
I
have
a
couple
of
questions
that
you
know
as
we
move
through
the
year
just
sort
of
I
liked
our
other,
the
26
to
2019
and
there's
a
lot
of
things
in
here
that
I
I
don't
know
if
we're
currently
doing
or
not
doing,
but
we
can
talk
about
that
at
a
you
know
as
the
year
progresses.
A
I
just
kind
of
was
interested
in
how
that
was
going
to
work
with
our
assessment,
because
you
want,
if
we're
going,
to
spend
200
000
on
an
assessment.
We
want
a
good
plan
in
place
that
we're
working
with.
E
Yes,
we
definitely
will
give
them
the
the
state's
plan
to
use
as
a
base
template
what
the
state
adopts
for
each
school
district
will
be
a
little
bit
less
intrusive
as
the
total
state
plan.
But
it
should
be
able
to
give
this
outside
organization
a
good
idea
of
what
we're
trying
to
match
against.
A
And
then
I
know
in
the
the
past
template
there
was
a
section
for
like
assess
a
district
assessment
of
needs.
Will
that
come
out
of
our
technology
assessment.
E
Yes,
we're
hoping
that
they,
they
identify
any
gaps
that
they
see.
We're
we're
right
here
on
the
ground
level,
with
it
and
sometimes
you're
cut
off
your
nose
before
your
face
kind
of
deal.
You
don't
really
see
it
when
you're
engaged
in
it
every
day.
So
it's
it's
nice,
that's
one
of
the
reasons
we
do
the
yearly
security
pin
testing.
A
Okay,
well,
I
don't
really
have
any
questions
at
this
time.
I
mean
I
do
have
some
things
so,
but
I
can
email
you
specific
questions
I
had
about
some
of
the
language.
I
think
overall,
it's
just
kind
of
a
holding
piece
until
we
get
the
the
full
plan
and
then
at
this
summer,
when
you
get
the
full
plan,
will
you
bring
it
to
the
committee
and
present
it.
E
Yes,
yes,
excellent,
yes,
and
in
the
the
plan
this
summer
will
be
a
lot
more
intense,
because
it'll
have
that
that
layer
of
academics
laid
over
it
so
it'll
be
probably
one
techno
administrative
technology
and
two-thirds
isd.
A
E
Correct
how
it
aligns
back
to
the
south
carolina
standards
when
it
comes
to
the
student
and
the
teacher.
South
carolina
is
really
focused
on
digital
equity,
with
our
teachers
and
making
sure
they're
well
versed
in
the
new
systems
and
utilizing
it
in
their
classrooms.
And
that's
one
of
the
assessment
pieces
that
our
administrators
use
when
they
go
around
and
do
classroom
assessments
how
they
integrate
technology
into
their
lesson.
Planning.
A
And
then,
like
the
piece
that
we
heard
from
miss
gilbert,
the
cake
piece
which
I
think
was
really
exciting
and
very
you
know
innovative-
does
that
fall
under
isd,
because
there's
also
there's
like
how
we
use
technology
to
teach
what
we've
always
been
teaching
and
then
there's
sort
of
the
new
you
know,
frontier
of
of
technology
education.
I
guess.
E
Yeah,
kate
is
really
I
like
to
consider
it.
It's
like
its
own
grandpa,
it
kind
of
sits
over
to
the
side
of
isd
and
the
reason
I
say
it
like
that
is
because
kate
has
been
kind
of
a
dream
child
from
the
state
for
a
while.
E
There's
a
lot
of
funding
that
comes
down
to
put
the
technology
in
the
kids
hands
it
has
we
we
jump
through
a
lot
more
hoops
because
of
that
funding,
with
keeping
track
of
where
stuff
is
making
sure
it
doesn't
get
moved
between
schools
without
the
appropriate
people,
knowing
because
we
have
to
know
exactly
where
that
piece
of
equipment
is
at
all
times,
because
if
an
auditor
walks
in
he's
just
going
to
say
okay,
I
want
give
me
a
list
of
what
equipment's
at
x
school
we're
going
to
go,
take
a
walk
through
and
that
equipment
better,
be
there
or
we
get
in
trouble
and
possibly
lose
state
or
slash
federal
funding.
E
So
we
will
really
take
it
seriously.
The
amount
of
detail
we
have
in
keeping
that
equipment
separated
and
in
the
hands
of
just
kate.
So
they
they
really
leave
a
lot
live
a
life
of
luxury.
E
They
they
don't
have
a
lot
of
the
hoops
to
jump
through
as
the
normal
isd
side
do
and
they
get
a
lot
more
funding
and
resources
from
the
state
to
make
their
program
work.
That's
probably
one
of
the
reasons
why
we've
seen
such
a
growth
in
our
cape
program
and
the
wonderful
work
that's
come
out
of
it.
A
Right
and
that
kind
of,
and
and
jump
in
at
any
point,
mr
smith
or
colonel
guyer,
but
that
kind
of
leads
me
to
the
next
agenda
item
that
the
comment
about
the
grandpa
I
feel
like
technology
is
sort
of
like
a
grandpa
in
every
division.
A
A
A
If
no
one
has
any
questions
or
comments
moving
on
to
the
last
well,
second
to
last,
which
is
the
review
of
the
technology
committee
scope
and
that
actually,
what
we
have
here
is
pretty
straightforward
and
I
think
it
sums
up
the
scope
of
a
technology
committee
where
I
think
this
committee
needs
to
do.
Some
work
is
in
those
operational
expectations
because
it's
even
called
administrative
technology
right.
So
it's
only
addressing
one-third
of
this
whole
technology
piece,
and
I
think
it's
pretty
specific.
A
Some
of
the
things
I
don't
think
necessarily
are
things
of
the
board.
I
mean
seek
maximum
e-rate
reimbursement.
That
should
be
a
finance.
You
know,
that's
not
that
I
get
where
it's
an
administrative
technology
and
then
I
think
we've
talked
about
this
before.
In
my
opinion,
we
should
put
some
more
strategic
goals
in
there
and
I
think
that
will
help
sort
of
from
a
board
strategic
oversight
position,
help
everything
kind
of
line
up
and
then,
with
these
goals,
maybe
we
need
to
talk
to
operations.
A
Maybe
we
need
to
talk
to
hr
to
you
find
whoever
it
is,
but
the
goals
are
what
kind
of
ties
everything
together.
So
I
was
hoping
that
the
other
committee
members
might
pop
in
and
have
an
opinion
on
where
they
think
we
can
go
with
this
committee
scope
from
here.
C
Yeah,
I
agree
with
what
you
said.
I
think
there's
a
lot
of
things
in
here
that
could
be
lumped
into
a
statement
of
having
a
efficient,
well-run,
well-administered
technology
program
and
there's
all
these
other
little
bullets
would
be
part
of
that,
but
that
would
be
not
necessarily
have
to
be
spelled
out.
That
would
be
what's
expected
by
the
the
overview
of
what's
part
and
parcel
of
an
effective
administ
technology
administrative
operation.
C
There
are
some
reports
that
I
think
should
be
part
of
the
technology
and
I
wouldn't
I'd
take
out
administrative
part
of
it,
because
technology
is
more
than
just
administrative,
as
you
mentioned
ingrid.
So
I
think
that
this
could
be
distilled
much
more
and
yet
really
give
what
the
board
level
needs
strategic
level
big
picture
level
of
what
technology
goals
that
we
require
for
the
superintendent
to
achieve.
C
C
The
unauthorized
online
disclosures
and
those
types
of
I
I
call
them
laws-
are
that
laws
being
broken
or
or
not.
That
again
to
me,
is
part
and
parcel
of
a
well-run
technology
department.
C
C
C
You
know:
moore's
losses,
every
24
24
to
36
months,
the
speed
of
processors,
it
doubles
and
they
haven't
found
a
limit
on
moore's
law.
Yet
so
I
think
you
know
three
to
five
years
is
when
we
need
to
have
periodic
updates
so
that
we
can
be
appraised
of
what
we're
going
to
need
when
we
need
it
and
that's
the
other.
C
That's
the
other
issue,
is
we
can't
get
too
far
ahead
and
that
we
go
down
a
cul-de-sac,
but
yet
we
need
to
be
far
enough
ahead
in
general
terms
that
we
have
the
capacity
to
adopt
current
proven
technology.
I
don't
think
we
should
be
the
leading
edge,
experimental
education,
but
we
should
be
in
the
top
third.
C
That's
what
I'm
trying
to
get
across,
but
I
think
that's
what's
important
to
be
put
in
there
as
a
requirement
for
the
board
to
the
administration.
This
is
what
we
are
interested
in.
You
staying
on
top
of
things
and
not
get
us
surprised.
We
don't
want
a
surprise.
C
We
wake
up
one
day
and
everything
is
outdated
and
we
have
to
have
a
massive
expenditure
to
catch
up.
We
want
to
do
incremental
to
get
there
and
that
has
to
do
with
the
refresh
plans
and
everything
else
that
goes
about
that.
D
A
A
Do
you
have
any
thoughts
on
looking
at
this.
F
F
In
terms
of
of
technology,
I
mean
also-
I
mean
I
would
wonder
what
you
know,
what
a
technology
facility
you
know
into
in
terms
of
we
are
here
recently
we're
talking
about
having
maybe
one
universal
place
from
north
and
south
for
abroad.
You
know
that
that
may
be
one
thing
that
we
wouldn't
want
to
look
at
as
well
as
well.
You
know,
and
do
we
have
do
we
have
all
we
need
to
operate
this
district
as
as
a
state-of-the-art
technology
facility
that
we
said
we
are.
F
You
know
along
the
lines
of
resources
and
what
we
already
have
in
place
and
both
from
and
what
we
and
from
what
we
don't
have.
So
I
guess
we
could
kind
of
put
some
of
those
things
in
there
as
well.
F
In
terms
of
how
we
navigate
to
answer
these
questions
and
in
terms
of
what
mr
guy
says-
and
we
don't
get
too
far
ahead
to
where
we
were
not
watching
what's
in
front
of
us
as
well,
I
think
all
those
all
those
things
do
matter
that
makes
sense.
I'm
not
gonna
sit
a
lot
in
a
roundabout
way,
but.
A
F
A
People
can't
see
the
vision
for
the
technology.
We
can't
highlight
what
we're
doing.
We
can't
make
it
visible
and
it
languishes
in
terms
of
you,
know,
support
and
energy
behind
it,
and
so
that's
my
hope,
with
having
a
technology
board
committee
is
that
we
can
really
put
some
energy
and
and
get
some
community
level
enthusiasm
behind
what
we're
doing
and
what
what
we
are
potentially
going
to
be
doing.
A
So.
To
that
end,
I
know
colonel
guyer,
you
first,
you
agreed,
and
I
think,
mr
smith,
you
were
as
well
that
I
think
the
next
thing
I
liked
our
the
technology
scope.
You
know
which
is
review.
All
the
items
contained
at
oe17
support
the
district's
effort
for
broadband
expat
expansion,
which
I
think
is
a
huge
equity
issue,
provide
input
and
recommendations
on
increasing
stakeholder
and
community
involvement.
A
E
One
thing
you
said
there
about
having
a
dedicated
technology
space.
That
is
one
way
that
other
districts
in
the
state
have
went
about
it.
Charleston
has
a
school
that's
dedicated
to
technology.
E
E
They
usually
started
with
one
facility
but
then
grew
that
to
encompass
your
whole
county.
So
I
I
do
agree
that
that
would
probably
be
a
good
good
path
to
follow.
It's
nice
to
have
technology
at
all
of
our
buildings,
but
there
is
a
lot
more.
We
could
do
in
these
maker
spaces
that
could
really
focus
on
student
achievement
and
technology
use.
A
Yeah
there
I
think,
there's
some
interest
in
something
like
a
tech
facility
that
mr
spri,
mr
smith,
brought
up.
I
think-
and
I
think
there's
some
opportunities
right,
because
we've
got
another
referendum
on
the
horizon.
We've
got
the
may
river
kate
project
still
sort
of
out
there.
A
You
know
I
mean
there's
there's
I
think
that
people,
if
you
look
at
what
cyber
security
of
the
south,
what
is
that
south
coast,
cyprus,
they
they
are
pouring
in
resources
and
the
state
is
basically
in
the
government
federal
government's
pouring
in
resources
to
develop
these
programs.
So
I
think
this
would
be
a
great
time
to
get
the
the
school
board
on
board
with
spending
money
on
technology.
E
Three
members
of
my
team
will
be
attending
the
south
coast
symposium
on
cyber
security
risk
and
mitigation
with
along
with
sled
next
month.
A
So
so
my
thoughts,
the
thing
I
thought
is
since
we're
kind
of
in
agreement
on
all
this
is
how
make
a
recommendation?
How
should
we
proceed?
A
I
talked
to
our
chair,
mr
strippinger,
about
how
do
we
go
about
re,
revamping
oe17,
and
I
have
some
ideas
I
you
know
he
said
that,
basically,
our
committee
could
kind
of
work
through
them,
redo
them
and
then
submit
them
to
policy
for
review,
which
would
have
feedback
and
then
eventually
we'd
get
to
some
sort
of
a
finished
product
that
would
be
voted
on
at
the
full
board.
A
So
if
that
sounds
like
a
reason
way
to
do
it,
I
don't
necessarily
think
that
mr
shohan
has
to
be
here
through
the
whole
process.
It
might
be
nice
to
have,
you
know,
be
able
to
bring
in
mr
shohan
or
mr
gilbert
or
tanya.
Sorry,
I
just
based
on
your
last
name
for
some
reason
for
a
second
miss
crosby.
A
You
know
if
we
have
questions,
but
I
think
it's
something
I
would
personally.
I
would
like
to
do
it
without
sucking
up
a
lot
of
staff
time
if
possible.
So
what
do
you
guys
think
about
that?
C
Recommend
that
one
of
us,
you
me
or
mr
smith,
start
writing
a
draft
of
a
proposed
oe
17
document
and
then
staff
it
between
our
between
the
committee
members
until
the
three
committee
members
think
yeah.
That
sounds
good.
We
got
everything
here
and
there
we
each
have
a
chance
to
add
or
subtract
or
delete
or
expand
this
draft
document.
C
Once
we
have
it
at
that
point,
then
we
submit
it
to
mark
and
say
comments.
What
comments
do
you
have
submitted
to
ms
crosby?
What
comments
do
you
have
have
a
little
back
and
forth
and
and
provide
the
policy
committee
a
coordinated
draft
to
give
to
the
policy
committee
to
let
them
do
their
magic
and
then
give
that
to
the
full
board
that
that's
what
I
I
could
see
happen,
mr
smith,.
F
I'm
a
little
late.
I
I
I
think
probably
would
like
to
go
with
the
way.
The
first
one
you
talked
about
before
about
this
kind
of
meeting
the
and
not
utilizing
this
staff
as
much,
but
my
only
question
will
be
you
know
is,
will
be
the
quoted.
My
question
would
be
you
know
if
there's
a
question
you
know,
maybe
maybe
we
can
have
a
certain
meeting
where
the
staff
can
kind
of
catch
up
on
on
what
we
have
and
answer
those
questions
and
see.
F
You
know
how
we
best
can
get
those
things
done
according
to
their
ability,
their
availability
and
their
input
that
that's
my
line
of
thinking.
A
Well,
maybe
we
can
take
a
hybrid
approach,
maybe
we
should
over
the
next
couple
weeks.
I
do
have
kind
of
a
draft,
but
I
need
to
look
at
how
we're
distilling
the
the
oe
distillation
process-
and
maybe
we
could
all
just
the
three
of
us
on
the
committee-
could
sort
of
email
ideas.
I
can
email
my
draft
document,
you
know
this
is
obviously
a
very
busy
weekend
for
us
on
the
school
board,
with
the
african
american
conference
coming
up.
A
E
A
Whatnot
and
then
our
next
meeting,
that's
what
will
be
on
the
agenda.
A
Does
that
sound
good?
Okay,
mr
guy
was
giving
me
a
thumbs
up.
Okay,
so
can
we
do?
We
need
a
motion
for
that?
A
So
I
think
what
we'll
do
is
the
conclusion.
Unless
someone
has
a
comment
or
a
concern
is
that
I
will
next
week
we'll
start
the
process
of
just
emailing,
our
ideas
back
and
forth,
and
commenting
and
we'll
have
something
something
that
we
can
bring
to
our
next
meeting
and
receive
staff
feedback
and
have
like
a
full-on
conversation
about.
Does
that
sound,
okay
and
mr
smith,
you're
good
with
that.
A
Okay,
awesome
all
right,
so
that's
what
we'll
do
and
then
the
last
item
on
our
agenda
is
discussion
of
future
topics,
which
I
think
that
the
oe
is
going
to
take
up
a
lot
of
our
next
meeting.
Is
there
anything
else
we
need
to
have
at
our
next
meeting.
A
I
see
no
hands
all
right,
so
we'll
just
make
that
the
topic
of
our
agenda
for
our
next
meeting
robin
and
mr
shohan
will
let
you
know
kind
of
we'll
get
we'll
set
once
we
have
some
sort
of
a
rough
draft,
we'll
send
it
to
you
and
then
we'll
talk
about
if
there's
any
other
personnel.
That
needs
to
be
here
and
if
you
wouldn't
mind
being
sort
of
taking
the
point
from
a
staff
perspective
on
it.
Okay,.

A
Okay,
all
right:
well,
if
there
is
nothing
else
the
plan
is,
we
will
be
sorry.
My
cat's
now
trying
to
adjourn
the
meeting.
We
will
meet
wednesday
march

at
two
o'clock
and
we
will
go
over
a

of
