If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
All
right,
it
is
501
and
I'd
like
to
call
this
meeting
of
the
Beaufort
County
Board
of
Education
academics
committee.
To
order
this
is
a
remote,
hybrid,
Conference
team
meeting
and
requests
for
public
comments.
Participation
was
accepted
between
430
by
sending
an
email
with
the
main
phone
number
in
traffic
which
Ferry
you
will
receive
a
phone
call
during
public
comments.
A
At
this
time,
I'd
like
to
invite
everyone
to
stand
for
the
Pledge
of
Allegiance.
Please.
A
A
Eye,
that's
4-0.
Okay.
Our
first
item
on
the
agenda
is
public
comment,
so
this
question,
Berry
I,
believe
you
indicated
we
do
have
some
public
comments.
Yes,
ma'am.
C
C
Thank
you
good
evening,
Madam,
chair
committee
members,
thanks
for
giving
me
a
chance
to
speak
with
you
this
evening
with
the
holidays
upon
us.
I
can't
help
but
think
about
the
joy
the
children
should
be
experiencing
in
stool
and
at
home,
and
we
look
forward
to
the
celebration
of
the
birth
of
Christ
and
the
timing
of
this
Advent
scripture
could
not
be
more
perfect.
The
scripture
reads,
or
although
you
have
hidden
these
things
from
the
wide
and
learned
you
have
revealed
them
to
the
child
life,
that's
Luke
chapter
10,
verse,
21b.
C
Last
week,
I
participated
in
the
first
book:
Review
Committee
for
the
school
district,
thanks
to
Dr,
Rodriguez,
Dr
Stratus
and
their
staff.
For
coordinating
this
event.
I
was
the
Lone
notebook.
Last
Thursday
night
I
reviewed
the
book
speak
I
was
told
that
it's
supposed
to
be
used
in
sixth,
eighth
grade
ELA
class.
It
depicts
the
rape
of
a
13
year
old
girl.
C
This
would
be
graphic
to
even
an
11
year
old.
On
December
1st
at
the
meeting
I
introduced
myself
that
no
one
from
my
committee
responded.
Four
teachers
in
myself,
I'm
the
only
non-district
employee.
It's
a
bias
committee,
one
teacher
bragged
about
using
a
book
with
rape
depicted
to
a
sixth
grade
class
that
was
more
sexually
graphic
than
the
book
reviewed.
C
C
None
of
the
teachers
thought
another
book
could
be
used.
One
teacher
actually
said:
don't
you
want
your
children
to
learn
what
happens
to
Hero
when
raped
and
I
had
responded,
but
not
in
school?
This
review
process
is
biased
as
a
little
no
vote.
It
was
a
three
to
one
vote
that
allowed
State
back
into
the
libraries
and
one
vote
supported
it
for
grades
six
through
eight
and
Ninth
or
twelve.
The
subject
matter
in
space
did
not
possess
educational
suitability.
C
I
want
to
end
with
this
scripture.
There's
Advent
scripture
from
Matthew
chapter
18,
verse,
14..
It
reads
in
just
the
same
way.
It
is
not
the
will
of
your
heavenly
father
that
one
of
these
little
ones
be
lost.
Please
let
children
be
children.
We
look
to
the
light
of
the
birth
of
our
Christ.
Coming
in
a
few
weeks,
let's
please
keep
that
in
mind
as
we
move
forward.
A
Hello
is
this
Kevin.
This
is
Robin
I'm,
calling
you
for
public.
B
E
E
There
is
a
Supreme
Court
case,
Board
of
Education
George
zico
beside
the
1982.
It
made
this
perfectly
clear.
Banning
of
books
without
proper
review
constitutes
prohibited
priority
strength.
I
am
just
opposed
to
the
Banning
books
in
the
name
of
protecting
our
Pilgrim
by
a
group
of
minority
people
who
are
advancing
their.
A
A
Okay,
so
that
concludes
public
channels
and
we
are
moving
on
to
the
our
agenda
and
the
first
thing
on
our
agenda
is
local
board,
approved
applications.
D
A
A
B
D
D
A
Although
we
approve
okay,
sure,
okay,
what
I
presented
what
I've
prepared
in
this
is
throughout
the
year
we
keep
a
close
look
at
those
locally,
waterproof
classes
that
have
been
approved
in
years
past
and
how
are
they
being
utilized
by
our
individual
schools?
So
I'm
just
going
to
let
you
know
the
yellow
highlights
are
my
notes.
My
invitations
of
the
I
can
keep
track
of
it.
A
We
do
have
a
a
larger
group
under
the
language,
arts
and-
and
that
makes
sense-
our
state
currently
provides
us
skin
forces
at
secondary
level
for
ELA,
whereas
when
you
look
at
math
they're
doing
math
in
about
15
or
18
courses,
so
we
want
to
give
these
new
opportunities
for
ELA
to
people
our
students
so
big,
since
we're
going
to
have
a
lot
of
fall
into
that
guys.
A
The
advanced
writing
course
that
is
highlighted
for
you.
There
I
gave
you
the
code
30
30,
because
the
state
is
before
the
course
in
this
composition
and
a
lot
of
students
are
now
utilizing
that
we
do
acid,
even
though
the
sports
is
currently
with
active,
but
it
remain
in
place
so
that
we
have
the
opportunity
to
attend
Rich,
riding
opportunities
for
our
students
to
move
forward.
A
Gives
you
the
ACs
code,
the
activity
coding
system,
which
is
what
the
state
hopes
the
course
has
and
then
our
filter?
How
are
we
filtering
that
by
standards
that
IT
addresses
the
name
of
the
course
is
next
after?
That
is
the
eight
digit
code
that
we
use
empowers
them
to
code?
That
set
thing
for
our
students,
then
I
have
the
access
active
sessions
of
that
course
that
are
currently
active
at
this
moment
and
then
a
breakout
for
you
by
high
school.
A
So
you
can
see
what
high
schools
or
those
Sports
is
actually
being
used
at
permanently.
That's
not
to
say
that
they're
not
going
to
use
the
second
semester
if
they
were
abused
in
a
previous
semester
and
to
build
this
course
prior
to
the
state
of
Virginia
and
advanced
composition.
Of
course,
this
was
of
course
said
it
was
piggyback
for
a
week
or
a
semester
birth
party
which
one
in
order
to
do
Readiness
of
students.
Video
see
that
was
the
model
user
lines
up
into
this.
A
C
A
A
Instructional
strategy
is
the
reason
I
have
that
one
is
we.
We
had
a
course
with
this
teacher
assistant
that
really
was
used.
Initially,
our
Bluffton
High
School
can
support
their
incoming
students
at
DXL.
At
the
time
we
have
said,
it's
got
a
lot
of
things
in
place
to
support
those
students,
so
it
kind
of
negates
be
used
that
away.
However,
we
want
to
keep
that
in
place
because
we
do
have
students
who
are
coming
in.
We
may
not
have
had
our
base
had
limited
formal
education
experience,
so
we
want
to
leave
that.
F
B
F
A
Least
they're
significant
before
and
this
one
or
after
English,
typically
you're,
going
to
see
them
want
to
take
it
prior,
but
that
doesn't
mean
necessarily
only
because
English
2
is
now
our
EOC
Force.
They
may
be
taking
it
after
English
needs,
maybe
identified
yes,
sir,
on
that
second
page
you'll
see
personal
and
professional
skills.
A
There's
also,
if
you
look
down
there
is-
and
this
goes
to
that
happen-
hold
credit.
There
is
one
that
is
being
used
active
code.
There
are
31
sessions
of
that
correctly,
so
they're
just
utilizing
that
course
code
right
now
for
that
one.
That
is
the
same
thing
with
the
supporting.
A
You'll
see
Afro-American
history
that
is
offered
through
dual
enrollment
I
hate
to
make
you
put
back
and
forth.
But
if
you
look
back
on
that
first
page
African-American
studies
is
also
listed
under
the
ELA
as
a
as
an
lva,
depending
on
the
certifications
that
are
available
within
the
school
to
provide
that
credit,
you'll
see
them
offering
either
essential
settings
or
DOA,
and
currently
it
seems
offered
as
Ela
rather
than
social.
It
is
still
being
off
and
right
now
we
have.
D
A
D
A
Good
world
religion
is
offered
through
dual
enrollment
and
we
currently
do
not
have
any
I'm
watching.
That
would
see
whether
we
want
it.
B
That
becomes
reactivate
advice.
A
The
the
world
religion,
yes
or
was
it
well-bridge,
Early
College,
High
School,
which
they
are
increasing
numbers
of
dual
enrollments.
So
a
lot
of
students
are
utilizing
different
electives
because
of
their
dual
enrollment
services.
A
Home
credit,
and
if
you
know
anything
about
our
youth
and
government
program,
it
is
phenomenal.
We
are
consistently
winning
some
of
those
study,
competitions
and
placing
very
hard.
So
that's
something
that
teachers
are
really
digging
into
that
content
along
with
students.
So
we're
really
happy
to
see
that
you've.
A
A
Health
and
physical
education
weightlifting
there
is
a
past
credit
course
code
from
the
state
now
so
I've,
just
added
that
on
there.
That's
why
that
is
there,
but
if
you'll
look
down
weight.
A
A
This
is
specific
important
student
who
has
excessive
needs
or
I
mean
that
really
in
a
doubt,
not
almost
more
than
that,
because
our
physical
education
teachers
were
able
to
really
adapt
and
personalize
what
they're
getting
into
their
classroom.
This
is
for
that
literally
Health
specific
student,
who
can't
do
those
things
all
they
have
to.
A
We've
been
keeping
course
available
for
women
that
we
can
pay
her
to
their
specific
needs,
so
that
one
is
inactive
right
now,
but
we
may
need
them
at
a
future
time
so
I'm
just
watching
now
and
to
add
it
as
a
significant
amount
of
supplies
that
are
kept
absolutely
right
on
the
other
side
of
this
one.
No.
B
A
Call
a
little
bit
more
under
our
CTE
route
and
she
is.
A
So
the
the
introduction
to
Aviation
for
phase
out
70
years
ago,
because
that
recruit
moved
to
a
state
approved
pathway
through
the
Southern
Regional
Education,
more
called
its
RB,
and
so
it
offers
a
Cadre
of
four
levels:
fundamentals
of
Aerospace
technology,
all
the
way
to
the
work
with
drones
that
final
year.
And
so
there
was
not
a
need
for
the
intro
to
Aviation
local
board
approved.
Because
now,
with
the
four
courses
it
can
count
toward
a
completer
would
send
accounts
for
our
career
readings.
So
that
one
will
be
more
active.
A
And
taking
off
the
the
offerings
and
then
the
Enterprise
design
again,
that
was
a
local
board
approvement
that
was
from
the
request's
partnership
Lieutenant
several
years
ago
again,
it's
the
state
has
offered
an
additional
course
called.
Entrepreneurship
with
was,
ironically,
will
be
offering
it
for
an
honors
for
a
request
tonight,
so
teachers
taking
advantage
of
again
a
state
course
that
fits
into
several
different
Pathways.
So
there
was
not
a
need
for
the
Enterprise
design
because
it
covers
the
same
projects.
A
So
all
these,
if
I
have
it
correctly,
are
going
to
remove
only
two
of
them
two
of
the
inactive
ones.
The
others
are
reasons
to
keep
them.
That
is
correct
and
the
it's
the
intro
to
Aviation
and
Enterprise
design.
So
it's
a
bit
substituted
by
station
courses.
So
we
don't
yes
and
yes,
so
do
we
need
I
know
the
board's
required
to
or
approved
I
think
is.
D
A
D
A
The
ones
that
are
already
on
the
list
have
to
be
approved
yearly
reimbursement.
D
A
A
A
Courses
please
certified
by
saying
aye
aye
see
it's
four
zero,
all
right
when
you
succeed
that.
D
A
Something
forces.
A
D
A
The
real
difference
is,
they
have
two
forms
of
approval:
local
board
approval,
United,
States
superintendent
of
Education,
whereas
a
local
design
elective
course
must
be
approved
by
the
local
board,
and
there
cannot
be
able
to
two
units
awarded
and
a
student
may
for
time
for
release
time
classes
in
religious,
locally,
designed
career
and
Technology.
Education
courses
are
following
the
state
or
federal
CTE
monies
and
must
be
approved
by
the
supplement.
B
D
G
D
A
A
So
I
just
wanted
to
share
a
little
bit
about
the
process
that
we
go
through.
Information
is
sent
out
with
the
state
application.
The
schools
and
I
tend
to
send
that
out
first
week
of
October,
it
is
a
process
for
schools.
That
process
includes
them
getting
the
same:
Focus
From,
Your,
Community,
Personal
Community
involved
and
make
the
decisions
that
application
applications
are
due
to
me
by
late
November,
and
then
they
go
to
the
Review
Committee
and
we
review
each
application.
A
We
do
have
a
checklist
that
we
go
through
and
we
will
provide
them
some
feedback
on
that,
but
things
that
we're
basically
looking
for
fall
under
that
same
regulation
3234,
which
says
it
has
to
launch
the
standards.
Fantastic
has.
B
B
A
A
Yay
we're
taking
yours
in
front
of
the
board
for
their
approval.
Sometimes
they
return
back
and
said,
hey.
You
know
we
really
like
the
concept
of
this.
Have
you
gotten
enough
parents,
but
have
you
gotten
enough
soon?
Have
you
really
dug
into
what
this
course
is
going
to
look
like
within
your
school?
So
we
send
those
back
quite
frequently.
A
Horses
are
then
approved
by
the
Review
Committee,
and
then
we
bring
them
to
approval
to
our
board
in
December
foreign.
A
G
A
It
comes
to
the
district,
it's
Isis
Instead
at
the
school
site.
They
are
required
to
have
community
and
students.
It
should
be
both
sic
and
I'm,
not
sure.
If
this
application
has
the
students
vote,
that
they
did,
what
they
typically
do
and
and
most
of
them
have
this
and
I
I
kind
of
require
it
yeah
I
want
them
to
survey
I
want
them
to
survey.
Families
I
want
them
to
survey.
A
A
It
it
took
me
about
some
time
just
to
go
through
it
and
because
they
included
letters
from
students
only
the
course
letter
from
parents
saying
this
is
what
I
want
my
child
to
have
this
course.
There's
a
lot
of
those
kind
of
things
that
are
attached
to
your
Apple,
their
Natural
Pantry
went
back
to
come
back
to
have
initial,
and
then
it
doesn't
go
come
to
us.
He
come
here
until
we've
had
our
conversation.
We
needed
to
detectives
from
this.
Mckenzie
has
to
show
details
or
business
go
ahead.
I'm.
E
A
Honors,
you
will
see
that
coming
up
at
a
high
school
level-
yes
and
there
there
is
rationale
for
that,
especially
when
it
comes
to
some
of
our
higher
performing
areas
in
njrotc,
for
example,
those
higher
left
left
right
or
when
you're
also
looking
at
and
out,
maybe
getting
ahead
of
presentation,
but
when
you're
working
yearbook,
if
you
have
worked
at
a
high
school,
if
you
will
and
that
team
who's
putting
that
book
together,
yes,
so
you'll
see
more
information
coming
forward.
So
yes,
there.
D
A
A
Certainly
before
we
go
to
students,
so
that's
why,
even
though
it's
a
client
application-
okay,
how
do
I
can
see
this
as
well,
so
people
send
it
back
so
we'd
feel
like
it's
something
that's
worthy
enough
to
bring
in
front
of
you,
because
then
it
goes
doing.
E
A
A
B
A
A
I'm
not
sure
that's
so
rotcc
in
your
state.
Of
course,
we're
just
in
the
next
part
we'll
talk
about
how
we
are
present
you
to
to
add
an
honors
option.
No
they're,
already
state
approved
of
the
student
leadership
courses
yeah,
one
that
should
have
been
discussed
tonight.
B
Is
leadership
Readiness.
A
So
it's
preparing
students
to
become
leaders
and
people
will
be
upon
graduation.
So
those
kind
of
models,
of
course
follow
their
tour
statuses.
A
D
A
Excited
about
as
well
absolutely
so
our
applications
that
we're
going
to
bring
forward
this
evening
we're
actually
bringing
forward
eight
electives.
Four
are
English
standards-based
courses,
yearbook,
five
honors
you're
about
six
honors,
your
book,
Seven,
honors
and
yearbook.
Eight
hours,
as
you
know,
are
your
book
program
to
be
for
County,
One
National.
A
Part
of
that
is
because
of
our
more
photography
program.
Part
of
that
is
because
of
Journalism,
because.
A
A
What
what
is
this
going
to
all
be?
Yes,
it's
going
to
offer
them
that
experience
throughout
their
High
School
experience,
because
you
can't
start
a
yearbook
and
going
two
years,
but
then,
in
a
few
years
you
can't
be
involved.
That's,
but
it's
big
and
I
get
that
what's
it
going
to
do
for
college
of
career
readiness,
so.
A
A
good
bit
from
students
and
teachers
to
parents,
some
of
the
ideas
were
I'm
really
looking
at
the
design
program
at
college
level,
and
this
is.
A
A
B
A
And
Leadership
12,
which
is
leadership
Readiness
all
of
these
or
courses,
are
being
requested
by
Battery
Creek
High
School.
The
teachers
of
any
content
area
would
be
able
to
teach
these.
This
is
called
under
the
American
council
of
education.
The
students
will
actually
end
up
with
two
elected
college
credits
as
well.
A
We
talked
earlier
about
Ramones,
you
know
this
one's
being
held,
but
we're
doing
it
under
here.
This
is
any
teacher-
can
teach
this
so
the
viability
of
that
continuing
for
that
school
can
be
a
vital
part
of
building
leaders
within
their
concept.
It
is
really
strong
and
we
recognize
that
in
both
areas,
these
two
forces
for
junior
two
courses
per
senior
civics.
A
So
I
the
certification
of
the
teacher
doesn't
matter
if
they
can
teach
you.
But
there
is
a
planned
course
of.
B
D
D
A
Ago
for
training,
so
it
would
be
unique
for
future,
that's
being
supported
by
this
grant
as
well.
Madam
chair
I
have
a
question.
Yes,
thank
you
Dr
status
and
your
team.
This
question
is
for
you
all.
How
long
is
the
teacher
training
for
these
courses
and
when
will
they
have
this
training?
A
A
A
A
A
It's
truly
two
different
pins.
Okay,
we
can
move
forward.
I
just
want
to
make
sure
so
what
we
have
at
the
top.
Well,
we
do
have
some
others,
this,
the
local
board
approved
courses.
These
are
new
local
board,
approved
courses
so,
and
what
we
have
here
are
also
a
new
local
board,
approved
courses.
D
A
A
A
A
I
I
believe
I
have
my
hand
up
I
believe
that
Mrs
christianberry
just
said
that
so
I
believe
it
is.
It
isn't,
and
my
question
is
related
to
what
what
is
being
said.
Okay,.
A
I
I
believe
it
is,
my
question
is
in
in
relation
to
this
motion.
Is
there
any
more
any
more
work
that
you
can
put
in
to
be
more
detailed
into
this
motion?
Is
my
question
all
right
and
tell
me
to
explain
the
hours
explain
why
the
hours.
A
I
think
that's
included
in
in
the
applications
and
the
applications
are,
will
all
be
included
on
board
boxes.
Oh.
A
A
Good
afternoon,
for
a
point
of
clarification,
would
it
help
in
the
motion
to
say
move
to
recommend
to
full
board
approval
of
local
board
approved
application
courses
presented
at
the
August
I
mean
so
August
I'm
Into
Summer
I
need
the
warm
weather
on
December
6
academic
committee
meeting
with
that
narrow
and
a
little
more
for
clarification.
Yes,.
I
That's
what
I
was
looking
for,
but
I
was
going
to
pull
it
out
the
consent
agenda.
That's
why
it's
going
to
be
quiet
about
yes,
but
yes,
that
would
that
would
that
would
help,
because
these
would
be
new
units
that
we
are
approved,
approving
for
the
board
and
I
just
thought
that
that
would
need
to
have
a
little
more
detail
in
it.
Thank
you.
Yes,.
D
A
Okay,
any
other
discussion.
Okay,
at
this
point,
all
those
in
favor
signify
guys
hi.
A
A
You
drove
on
and
board
members.
Thank
you
so
much
for
the
opportunity
to
actually
judging
good
news.
I
appreciate
the
feedback
from
this
committee.
At
our
last
meeting,
where
we
presented
the
first
one
called
save
the
wave
of
honors
options
for
students
enrolled
in
CTE
and
or
JROTC
courses.
As
a
result
of
that,
and
it's
generated
a
lot
more
entrance,
we've
had
an
increased
collaboration
among
our
teachers
at
JROTC
instructors.
A
We
concluded
two
virtual
sessions
to
go
over
the
components
and
how
they
work
and
I
just
included
on
this
slide
that,
just
as
a
reminder,
it's
a
great
opportunity
for
advanced
coursework
for
our
students
that
can
take
that
practical
application
of
Knowledge
and
Skills
beyond
the
state
standards,
and
it's
an
opportunity
to
transfer
that
Knowledge
and
Skills
in
preparation
for
several
of
our
challenging
occupations
that
are
either
current
or
emerges.
It
makes
side
please,
let's
go
back
one
more
one,
okay,
just
as
a
reminder
this.
This
is
where
we
it's.
A
These
are
State
courses
they're
in
our
coding
activities,
manual
they've
been
utilize.
The
count
toward
graduation
credits
we're
calling
career
Madness.
This
is
just
taking
that
course
code
and
it's
based
off
of
the
South
Carolina
framework
and
the
criteria
that
they
give
us
the
work
and
recommend.
Then
the
student
would
like
successfully
complete
that
they
would
have
the
honors
way
to
the
Quality
Point
attitude,
their
overall
course
code
and
therefore
it
factors
into
their
GPA,
which,
which
can
be
a
good
thing.
A
So
in
the
templates,
the
teachers
have
provided
prescriptions
as
it
aligned
to
the
safe
standards.
What
are
some
key
honors
Concepts?
What
is
what
are?
What
are
their
expectations
and
performance
honors
level?
A
They
will
work
toward
starting
a
portfolio
of
pacing,
guys
lesson
plans
where
we're
going
to
start
a
Google
docs
for
British
rubrics
writing
practice
at
the
theater
to
share,
as
well
as
any
instructional
materials.
Again
as
we
know,
this
is
teacher
initiative
initiated
and
because
the
South
Carolina
framework,
they
do
ask
that
it
comes
in
front
of
the
board
for
your
review
and
approval
good
feedback,
for
example,
Mr
Campbell.
A
When
we
talked
about
the
JROTC
honors
you
you
were
asked
that
also
thank
Mr
Earl
Campbell
was
asking:
how
do
we
incorporate
as
a
move
to
the
earlier
levels?
What
does
that
look
like,
so
our
instructors
had
some
excellent
conversations,
so
we
bring
forward
to
you
tonight
23.
If
you
break
down
the
courses
for
JROTC,
it's
in
four
applications
and
then
six
career
and
Tech
in
of
the
career.
Take
in
works.
A
I'm
excited
that
entrepreneurship
has
been
brought
forward
to
ask
for
honors
way
to
have
several
teachers
that
have
been
advocating
for
this.
It
will
be
available
to
all
high
schools
or
all
of
our
high
schools
wanted
to
participate
with
this,
as
well
as
to
for
carnivier
our
CTE
computer
science
Essentials.
It
will
be
available
as
an
honors
option.
A
It
per
pending
of
this
meeting
for
all
high
schools,
and
then
I
want
to
share
with
you,
Hilton
Head,
Island,
high
school
and
Well
Branch
Early
College
High
School,
bringing
forth
their
cyber
security
course
that
they're
offering
as
I,
want
to
point
out
just
a
few
little
components.
It's
already
at
a
rigorous
level,
so
we're
excited
they
wanted
to
to
have
us,
be
honors
and
then
shout
out
to
Mrs
Jennifer
calcasie,
the
instructor
at
Beaufort
Jasper
Ace.
A
She
wanted
to
be
a
part
of
this
with
Dr
lavecchio
and
so
she's
done
a
fabulous
job
on
presenting
tonight
of
Emergency
Medical
Services
levels,
one
two
and
three,
and
then,
of
course,
with
the
the
jrotcs
I
appreciate,
Mr
ralpha
Ty
here
you'll
be
able
to
answer
any
questions.
What
we
did
was,
if
you
recall
you
previously,
through
con
Foster,
approved
level,
seven
eight.
We
have
eight
State
course
codes
that
are
in
the
activity
manual.
We
thought
we
would
start
at
the
top
and
we'd
work
back
well
through
much
great
discussion
and
collaboration.
A
We
we
worked
it
out
and
I
think
Lieutenant
Colonel
Thompson
at
Beaufort,
High
School
I,
have
to
give
him
credit.
He
was
able
to
lay
it
out
in
a
a
format
that
all
of
us
Ralph
and
I,
and
the
instructors
to
agree
upon.
So
when
you
see
levels
three
through
eight,
that
will
get
the
little
highlights
now.
A
They'll
have
an
option
levels,
one
and
two
counts
toward
physical
education,
so
per
the
state
that
cannot
be
honors
but
starting
in
in
three
if
they
feel
like
they're
sitting
the
cadets
that
they're
going
to
take
toward
that
leadership
pass
then
they'll
have
an
opportunity
for
that
weight.
So
I
wanted
to
to
highlight
a
few
minutes
just
to
share
the
scope
and
the
depth
and
breadth
of
this,
for
example,
in
the
entrepreneurship.
A
A
Analysis
they'll
include
direct
and
indirect
competitors.
Industry
Trends
they'll,
prepare
a
SWOT
analysis
and
include
in
a
business
plan.
They'll
determine
a
marketing
mix,
they'll
design,
a
physical
layout
to
meet
the
needs.
If
it's
a
physical
building,
they'll
estimate
costs
of
equipment
supplies,
inventory,
they'll.
A
G
A
Me
that's
an
excellent
way
to
engage
the
students,
take
it
above
beyond
the
standard
levels,
another
one
for
the
Emergency
Medical
Services,
the
Mrs
Cal
corzi.
She
included
her
application
to
help
build
critical
thinking
around
triage.
She
says
that
students,
when
they
generally
finish
the
EMS
operations
module
where
triage
and
mass
casualty
incidents
have
been
taught.
Students
will
be
paired
into
teams
of
two
they'll
simulate.
The
setting
of
having
a
partner
and
working
on
an
ambulance
they'll
will
do
a
simulation
of
being
this
fat
dispatched
if
they
Mass
casually
incident
with
multiple
patients.
A
They'll
work
in
teams
they'll
have
to
provide
the
appropriate
documentation,
and
students
must
then
determine
the
priority
status
of
each
individual
patient,
and
then
they
have
to
do
a
reflection
as
to
why
things
they
they
did
that
priority
one
of
one
other
one.
All
the
computer
science
Essentials
really
like
this
one,
that
the
teachers
brought
forward
after
applying
after
learning
to
apply
the
essential,
Concepts
and
practice
of.
A
And
app
creation
ownership
will
apply
those
skills
to
explore
other
Innovations
in
computer
science.
That's
changing
our
world,
such
as
self-driving
vehicles
and
or
image
process.
Honor
students
will
explore
the
similarities
and
differences
in
app
creation.
Finally,
they
will
work
with
the
team
to
create
an
app
whether
for
Creative
expression
or
to
try
to
solve
a
problem
that
the
team
identifies
within
the
local
community,
so
I
I,
just
I,
think
you
know
there
are
some
excellent
examples
of
the
teachers
that
brought
forward
and
I
know.
A
J
One
of
the
biggest
things
and
really
that
we
would
still
be
to
have
one
of
the
items
you
brought
up
and
I
think
the
element.
Scandal
was
what
about
the
younger
kids
because
keep
in
mind
back
when
it
was
a
b
schedule.
They
did
it
for
an
entire
year.
So.
J
J
It
was
really
highlighted
by
what
you
brought
up.
Somebody
may
take
it
in
ninth
grade,
may
not
take
it
again
until.
J
Year
it
because
they
have
to
be
able
to
fit
in
it.
So
with
that,
the
overall
concept
like
being
in
the
military
is
they're
forming
leaders,
whether
it's
a
logistics
officer,
whether
it's
an
administrative
officer,
Command
Staff
that
participates
and
and
does
training
activities,
leadership,
activities
on
the
weekends
or
after
school.
The
leaders
of
the
merchmanship
team,
the
drill
and.
J
Team-
these
that's
part
of
it
coupled
with
they
also
have
to
do
a
portfolio
and-
and
when
you
look
at
it,
one
of
them
is
like
gift
was
on
page
707.
They
they
haven't
proposed.
They
do
the
rough
draft,
there's
a
whole
sequence,
just
like
a
military
inspection
there,
so
to
speak
and
it's
set
and
what
they
have
to
achieve.
In
order
to
do
it
now,
keep
in
mind
the
kernel
eye
can
be
in
Jr,
tc1,
I'm,
sorry,
it
could
be
in
jrotc3,
but
I'm.
J
J
Yes,
yes,
sir,
why?
Which
is
which
is
the
students
being
Superbad
but
not
being
honored,
so
they
their
supervised
right?
Now,
as
we
speak,
but
everybody's
on
the
same
I
mean
currently,
everybody
has
the
same
course
code.
Okay,.
A
D
A
J
A
F
G
A
F
J
Interesting,
quite
honestly,
they
used
to
teach
it
there.
He
said
every
student
then
and
now
has
to
want
to
be
an
ROTC
to
stay
in
ROTC.
They
had
cut
they.
They
can't
wear
the
nail
polish,
but
that's.
F
I,
don't
care
about
it.
I
want
that
too,
but
I
want
number
one
to
be.
F
D
F
A
F
Be
yes,.
J
J
H
D
A
The
reason
we
brought
this
second
offer
to
you
is
because
it
really
is
really
like
to
get
this
in.
For
second.
A
H
H
You
Ms
Gilbert,
has
there
been
any
discussion
with
Dave
so
either
the
Technical
College
of
low
country
or
uscd
to
have
a
program
assistance.
A
A
It
will
just
it'll
just
be
part
of
the
the
honors
portfolio
that
they
will
be
able
to
pursue
and
Well
Branch
will
be
included
in
that.
Yes,
sir,
okay.
D
G
More
motivated
folks,
because
of
the
opportunity
to
have
a
higher
grade
a
grade
point
on
their
on
their
application,
but,
more
importantly,
the
leadership
programs
that
you
other
programs
that
you
have
their
their
Theory
programs
and
here's
application,
correct
and
and
that
application
is,
is
I
hope
to
attract
people
because
it
makes
it
takes
some
emotional
energy.
He
has
to
apply
this
job.
That's
all
good.
I
I
would
like
to
ask
a
question
about
the
computer
science.
G
Yes,
sir
I
I
heard
I
read
the
description
and
it
seems
like
it's
moving
into
HTML
and
throughout
app
development
and
so
on,
and
that's.
G
A
So
I'm
glad
you
brought
that
up.
So
this
computer
science
Essentials
is
the
first
course
for
traditional,
ninth
10th
grader
any
grade
level
can
take
it,
but
we're
offering
as
a
ninth
and
10th
great,
offering
it's
the
first
of
a
four
core
sequence
through
project
legal
way,
which
is
our
curriculum
provider.
So
it
has
the
state
standards
offered
through
them,
so
you're,
correct,
they're,
they're,
getting
that
foundational
Concepts
in.
A
Essentials,
the
second
course
is
computer
science
principles
that
was
that
we've
been
offering
that
for
a
while,
so
it
was
already
grandfathered
in
and
as
an
honor
at
honors
option.
So
then
CSP
takes
it
to
that
next
level
and
then
computer
science.
Cyber
security
project
by
the
way
is
the
third
course
and
then
there's
one
more
that
they
can
take.
They
can
either
do
the
internship
route
or
they
can
take
the
AP
course
for
computer
games,
so
each
one
I'm
glad
you
mentioned
that
you're
correct.
Let's.
G
G
If
you
can't
get
down
and
to
make
the
robot
move
from
point
A
to
point
B
you're,
just
kidding
yourself,
you're,
going
to
be
nothing
more
than
somebody
that's
going
to
sit
in
a
minute.
Do
minor
things:
you're,
never
you're
not
going
to
build,
not
going
to
be
a
Bill
Gates
you're
not
going
to
be.
You
know.
D
A
They
got
to
come
together
and
that's
actually
happened
with
some
of
the
math
through
SRV
within
our
in-tech
schools,
and
that
there
will
be
addressed.
That
is
their
intent
in
the
map.
My
baby
was
going
to
move
observations
and
they
like
trying
lesson
planning
now.
Let's
say
that
lesson
plan
to
do
application
component
and
see
they're
an
outside
consultant
that
is
building
that
capacity
amongst
educators,
that
that
type
of
work
is
happening
so
that
it's
not
an
isolation,
but
I
think
it's
you're
right
on
point
that
the
application
sounds
issues
great,
but
I
I.
F
F
F
Exactly
so
so,
hopefully
yeah
you
know
about
to
be
there
or
you're
gonna
find
students,
that's
they
don't
have
to
they've
done,
but
that's
what
yeah
to
to
real
life
of
you
you
know
now
is
how
this
is
happening.
I
was
saying
it
really,
you
know
getting
it
done
and
how
do
we
protect
it?
The
last
level,
how
do
we
detect
what
we
have
and
that's
under
one
level
and.
D
F
F
They
understand
enough
of
the
basic
programming
to
get
them
to
the
bells
and
whistles
and
other
Banks.
But
but-
and
that's
you
know,
that's
your
argument,
but
that's
we're
gonna
require
a
lot
more
Math
teachers
who
understand
programming.
Thank
you
very
much.
A
A
We
hope
that
that's
going
to
expand
all
of
our
high
school
at
some
point,
that
third
level
course
and
and
again
speaking
back
to
both
of
you
on
down
the
road
I
think
again
by
engaging
more
of
our
middle
school
math
science
teachers,
along
with
that
Middle
School
CTE
computer
science
courses
will
kind
of
help
what
you're
talking
about
to
build.
Yes,
I
was
going
to
ask
about
your
your
program.
The
rent
base
program.
A
Is
training
Educators
on
the
application?
Computer
science
application
for
elementary
msat
Grant
is
doing
very
similar
as
well
yeah.
So
it's
going
to
take
time
of
building
that
capacity.
That
was
the
purpose
of
reaching
out
for
these
grants
is
building
the
Educators
capacity,
but
then
by
those
Gateway
opportunities
for
our
children,
yeah.
F
Hopefully,
the
vision
down
the
road
is
that
long
term
filters
of
model
students.
So
that's
going
to
be
our
role
model
every
student
by
the
time
he
gets
to
the
sixth
seventh
grade,
Step
Up,
basic
math
and
technological
skill
to
go
where
he
wants
anywhere
in
terms
of
the
computer
feelings
in
the
high
schools
that
it
was
there.
But
you
know
right
now:
it's
over
here,
it's
over
there
in
the
capacity
isn't
there,
but
we
got
to
think
that
infrastructure.
We
got
to
think
that.
A
Way,
you
know
Mr
Campbell,
I
think
also,
like
our
universities,
have
to
realize
the
application
teaching
Educators
in
the
area
right.
That's.
We
can't
be
in
isolation
without
the
schools
of
Education,
not
also
picking
up
that
practice,
because
that
should
be
a
standard
we
did
succeed,
or
there
should
also
be
that
language.
A
B
A
I
I
What
conversations
have
we
had
in
terms
of
bringing
that
back
or
or
encouraging
the
the
base
to
bring
back
Starbase,
because
Starbase
was
a
big
factor
that
we've
lost
and
they're
continuously
using
the
county
and
using
our
services
and
some
of
our
Hospitality
services
that
we're
building
in
the
district
is
also
being
used
by
the
military?
How
are
we
making
that
impactful
into
into
iterating
them
to
and
encouraging
them
to
bring
back
Starbase.
J
I'm
Mr
Smith
at
Starbase,
the
Department
of
Defense,
actually
the
to
the
base
commander
at
Marine,
Corps
Air,
Station,
that
that
program
is
going
away.
I
And
so
my
so
my
point
is
that
the
program
going
to
me
as
a
board
member
Starbase
going
away
is
very
problematic
because,
because
of
the
fact
of
every
time
we
go
out
in
town,
I
hear
I
hear
freedom.
I
I
as
as
they
say,
I
have
these
loud
planes
and
I.
Had
this
a
bunch
of
noise
and
if
we're
bending
to
them
and
we'll
show
every
some
of
their
some
of
some
of
some,
are
there
we're
serving
their
students
and
and
some
of
the
people
that
they're
bringing
into
town?
I
Then
that's
some
at
some
area,
then
we
would
need
them
to
be
able
to
balance
the
service
too,
because
we
as
as
Citizens,
we
should
have
something
that
they
should.
They
should
offer
some
type
of
service
that
have
us
to
attract
to
them
as
well
and
I.
Believe
Starbase
was
one
of
those
programs.
That
was
one
of
those
things
that
that
attracted
to
the
the
people
in
before
County,
because
they
had
they
offer
Starbase.
And
my
thing
is:
what
are
we
doing
to
encourage
them
to
keep
style
base
and
I
get
rid
of
it?
I
Because
I've
heard
and
I've
been
in
a
conversation
with
a
lot
of
people
who
are
very
concerned
about
them
getting
rid
of
star
base,
and
so
my
so
that's
my
question.
You
know
the
same
way
how
we
give
y'all
some
things
in
the
district.
The
base
you'll
be
able
to
give
to
offers
offers
some
things
in
return
as
well,
because
we
all
know
Freedom,
isn't
free.
D
A
Some
meetings
with
the
base
regarding
star
base
I:
it
was
their
choice
to
pull
it,
and
maybe
we
could
do
a
little
one-way
work
and
give
you
a
kind
of
fun
update
to
that.
If
you
want
to
be
able
yeah,
we
can
get
a
little
more
conversation
on
that.
Sir.
I
I
How
some
other
board
members
feel
about
it,
but,
like
I,
said,
I've
had
people
who've
all
who've
moved,
but
I
took
my
attention
who
have
had
that
conversation,
and
so
I
would
definitely
like
to
know
where
that's
going
at
and
how
can
we
be
impactful
of
of
bringing
that
because
I
know
that
we
we
do
an
awful
lot
of
giving
them
giving
the
government
and
giving
those
bases
different,
different
things
and
breaks
and
hoops
and
hurdles
so
that
they
seriously
that
they
can
stay
there
so
that
they
can
stay
in
in
Beaufort,
County
and
and
even
they're,
giving
up
land
so
I'm
definitely
interested
in
having
to
have
having
that
conversation
further
with
them.
A
J
D
A
D
A
And
I'm
this
last
one
with
the
honors
level
courses.
A
That's
all
these
will
be
leveled
into
board
Knox.
All
these
applications
I'm
wondering
if
this
last
one,
the
honors
level
courses
could
go
in
the
consent
agenda
to
be
approved
and
I
I
mean
I,
guess
we
can
make
a
motion
and
approve
it
and
we're
not
gonna
go
into
each
one
of
these
at
a
meeting.
That's
so
what?
What's?
The
preview
of
the
board.
A
And
you
know
really:
people
need
to
do
their
homework
and
read
these
Frameworks
so
examples
the
framework
as
well
as
the
local
board,
approved
applications
or
just
am
I
putting
both
of
them.
I
I
would
say
yes
Angela.
How
do
you
feel
about
that?
I
Smith
well
I'll,
go
ahead
and
tell
you
now
I
I,
don't
think
that
this
should
be
put
into
consent,
because
this
is
a
very
serious.
These
are
very
serious
decisions
that
we're
making
and
to
add
to
the
menu
is
very
important
and
we
understand
the
menu
that
we're
offering
as
board
members
having
that
east
border
machine
have
have
some
time
in
the
meeting
referees.
I
Personally,
with
all
that,
what
I
just
said,
I
I,
don't
see
a
a
a
a
I'm,
not
comfortable
putting
it
on
the
consent
because
sit
on
the
consent
agenda,
even
though
I'm
not
on
that
committee,
but
I'll
just
say
that
I
don't
think
it's
a
great
idea
for
it
to
put
on
the
consent
agenda
because
of
what
I've
of
what
I've
just
stated.
Thank
you.
A
All
right
moving
forward
next
on
the
agenda
Madam
chair:
this
is
just
a
quick,
updated
information
to
share
regarding
graduation
dates.
Yes,
something
to
construction!
That's
been
going
to
be
implemented
at
Battery,
Creek,
High,
School
I.
Believe
you
have
a
copy
of
calendar.
This
is
cushionberry.
Thank
you
so
much
for
adding
that
what
we're
looking
at
is
Battery
Creek
to
look
them
up
earlier
to
June,
2nd
I
would
still
provide
180
days
of
instruction
so
that
we're
meeting
the
requirement
of
the
law.
A
A
A
confirmation-
and
it
will
be
at
their
facility-
they
will
be
able
to
obtain
additional
portable
classrooms,
but
I
confirm
that
account
for
the
Cox
on
the
latter.
Part
of
the
last
swedes
will
be
at
the
field
area,
but
I
think
would
it
be
in
the
afternoon
or
evening
so
that
staff
anybody
would
have
students,
children,
graduating,
would
be
able
to
attend.
I
remember.
Last
year
we
had
an
issue.
A
We
had
a
new
graduation
to
a
Saturday,
so
this
recommendation
would
be
at
night
night,
okay,
yeah,
and
then
we
would
have
well
gradually
college
now
again,
I
do
want
to
prefix
this
conversation.
This
has
not
gone
public
and
it's
been
waiting
for
conversational
academic
committee
as
well
as
for
well-grant
Early.
College,
would
then
be
moved
up
to
the
date
that
would
have
been
would
have
been
Battery
Creek,
which
is
here
as
June,
8th.
A
A
A
D
A
A
Approval,
yes,
okay,
so
do
we
need
them?
Have
a
motion
from
this
committee
to
recommends
to
the
full
board
approval
of
the
changes
to
the
calendar
to
accommodate
graduations.
A
We
have
a
graduation
calendar,
graduation
dates,
graduation
dates
or.
D
F
A
A
I
do
have
one
future
topic:
I
received
a
request
and
I
said
that
I
would
bring
it
up
as
a
future
topic
that
we
add
to
our
agenda
a
review
just
looking
at
our
book
review
process
and
how
it's
how
it's
gone.
I
do
believe
this
is
going
to
be
on
our
December
13th
board.
Maybe.
D
A
A
So
for
this
future
topic,
it's
just
a
discussion
of
the
process
and
again
the
new
committee
will
decide
what
the
agenda
items
are,
but.
A
So
I
want
to
thank
everyone
who
attended
today.
Dr
Stratos,
as
the
outgoing
chair
of
the
academic
committee,
I,
really
cannot
express
my
thanks
to
you
and
your
your
team
I
think
that
when
I
look
back
when
I
first
became
a
member
of
the
board
and
I've
been
on
the
academic
committee,
all
years
of
my
tenure
on
the
board,
our
instructional
division
has
moved
to
mountains.
We
have
really
really
moved
mountains
and
I.
