World
the
event
was
held
in
the
cafeteria
during
all
lunch
periods,
so
students
could
have
the
opportunity
to
talk
with
the
military
Representatives
if
they
chose
to
a
unique
and
interactive
college
experience
wholesale
University's
educational
truck
pulled
into
whale
Branch,
Early
College,
High
School,
giving
students
a
behind
the
scenes.
Look
at
the
college
inside
the
mobile
unit.
Students
had
the
opportunity
to
explore
several
programs.
The
university
offers
by
having
students
take
part
in
Hands-On
activities
like
Esports
video,
editing,
Sound,
Engineering.
E
And
more
I
was,
at
the
beat
station,
pretty
much
the
whole
time.
That
was
a
really
good
experience,
because
I've
always
had
it
in
my
head
and
I
want
to
do
something
like
that.
But
for
me
to
actually
experience
it
before
I
get
to
actually
make.
My
decision
really
did
something
for
me
to
hear
the
bass
and
like
be
able
to
make
my
own
little
beat
to
make
it
like
sound
good
together.
It.
F
A
E
Was
actually
pretty
fun?
I've
never
done
anything
like
that
before.
So
it
was
a
good
experience
yeah.
It
shows
you
a
couple
different
things
that
you
could
do
and
like
past
that
you
can
go
on
before
you
get
to
actually
make
your
decision
so
I
think
that
that's
a
good
little
way
for
you
to
like
see
it
in
real
life.
So
you
can
actually
feel
like
that.
So
you
can
actually
get
the
experience
and
see
if
you
like
it
or.
A
A
A
H
Thing
I
would
hope.
Most
of
all
would
come
from
this
is
that
they
would
want
to
make
things
and
be
maker
years,
and
when
I
was
a
kid
working
with
my
hands
was
something
that
got
me
interested
in
things
and
so
I
got
into
the
Arts
in
high
school,
and
it
really
motivated
me
to
do
well
in
the
other
classes.
So
I
could
get
time
in
art
classes
and
whatnot.
This.
M
L
O
Goal
is
to
have
the
students
really
recognize,
Book
characters
that
they've
loved
reading
in
the
past,
or
maybe
a
book
that
they
haven't
seen
before
as
they
do
a
walk
through
and
look
at
all
the
pumpkins
and
they
realize
oh
I
want
to
go
check
out
that
book.
I
want
to
be
able
to
read
that
one
now
I
like
that
character
about.

About
exposing
these
kids
to
the
different
opportunities
and
different
careers
and
get
them
here
in
the
Middle
grades,
so
they're
ready
to
walk
in
the
door
in
the
ninth
grade
with
an
idea
of
hey.
This
is
something
I
really
want
to
do
something
I
want
to
pursue,
and
just
so
that
they
have
a
broader
idea
of
what
they
could
do.
The
schools
are
planning.
T
We
are
here
celebrating
our
get
moving
fundraiser.
Ladies
Island
Middle
School
was
honored
to
partner
with
get
moving
this
year
so
that
we
could
do
a
Boosterthon,
a
run-a-thon,
a
walkathon,
whatever
our
kids
are
interested
in.
That's
going
to
get
them
excited
about
adding
extra
movement,
so
we
are
here
celebrating
all
the
hard
work
that
our
kids,
our
family
members
and
our
communities
did
with
raising
money
funds
donations
to
support.
Ladies
Island
Middle
School
we've
raised
over
13
000,
so
we're
already
37
above
our
goal.
T
We
are
going
to
take
our
funds
and
put
them
right
back
into
the
hands
of
students.
Our
Fun
Run
was
designed
to
support
our
positive
behavior
intervention
systems
program.
So
our
PBIS
modules.
We
issue
our
students,
Live
school
points.
We
have
a
cougar
store.
We
provide
them
with
all
kinds
of
incentives
and
rewards
for
choosing
positive
behavior,
and
so
our
funds
are
going
to
go
back
into
those
programs
to
have
really
exciting
incentives
and
rewards
that
will
motivate
students
to
make
good
choices.
T
Our
motto
for
the
school
year
we
are
cougars
on
the
prowl.
We
are
coming
for
excellence.
We
are
getting
our
students
to
be
the
model
citizens
and
by
investing
in
character
development
by
investing
and
making
positive
and
appropriate
choices
and
having
incentives
and
fun
activities
that
help
promote
that
opportunities
for
students
to
choose
the
right
thing
and
rewarding
them
for
making
those
decisions
is
one
of
our
really
important
goals.
I
couldn't
be
more
proud
of
the
students,
the
parents,
the
families
and
the
community
members
of
our
neighborhood.

Took
a
picture
at
the
beach
and
I
brought
a
mirror
to
it
and
I
hung
it
on
a
tree
and
I
took
a
picture
of
the
reflection
in
the
mirror
and
I
thought
it
looked
cool
because
in
the
background
there
wasn't
very
much
color.
But
in
the
reflection
you
can
see
the
marsh
and
the
greenery.
So
it
kind
of
stood
out
like
the
reflection
stood
out
from
the
background
students.

Hilton

has
been
making
special

having
students,
share
information
and
facts
about
the
Hispanic

as

it's
celebrated
from
September

to
October

and
it
recognizes
the
achievements
of
Hispanic
people
everywhere.
The

in
several

the

to

Creating
a
new
perspective
on
art
students
at
Robert,
Smalls,
International
Academy
are
learning
about
one
point:
perspective
and
I
wrote
in
the
hallways,
using
tape
to
sketch
out
their
designs.
We
did.
AD
AE
Did
a
road
with
a
sidewalk,
but
it
was
more
of
like
a
3D
sidewalk,
with
kind
of
like
a
sunset
in
the
back,
and
it
was
very
difficult
trying
to
get
the
tape
to
make
like
trying
to
get.
The
tape
in
the
middle
was
really
hard
and
then
trying
to
get
it
to
curve
in
the
right
way
was
really
difficult.
Having.
AF
It
to
the
wall
force
them
to
be
a
little
bit
more
engaged
and
I
think
they
picked
up
the
principles
of
it,
a
lot
more
than
they
did
just
working
with
a
ruler
on
paper.
They
couldn't
fudge
any
lines
because
the
lines
were
longer.
You
know
a
little
mistake
made
a
big
difference,
so
they
had
to
use
their
yardsticks.
They
had
to
make
sure
that
they
understood
all
of
the
principles
in
order
for
it
to
look
right.

project

serious

River

held
its

students

to

My.
AG
AH
My
topic
is
overpriced.
Medication
I
chose
epipens,
because
I've
heard
that
you
can
like
spend
at
700
on
an
EpiPen
and
I.
Think
that's
like
really
expensive
and
also
I,
see
like
commercials
for,
like
insulin
and
stuff
like
that
and
Insulin
will
be
like
250
dollars
and
you
have
to
get
a
prescription
and
you
can't
get
like
a
generic
one
or
change
it
up.
So,
like
that's
pretty
expensive
and
I
think
it
should
change.

Designing
a
flock
of
posters,
Beaufort,
High,
School's
digital
publication
design
class
is
creating
posters
for
the
Frip
Island
Audubon
Club.
The
students
were
asked
to
make
posters
to
help
attract
new
bird
enthusiasts
to
come.
Take
part
in
pop-up
bird
outings
in
the
area
I.
AK
Love
these
projects
they're
under,
even
though
it's
digital
Publications
side,
it's
under
a
conservation
heading
and
I,
try
to
make
them
aware
that
conservation
is
important
and
that
it's
also
a
big
business
so
that
if
they
are
artistic
and
if
they
care
about
nature,
they
can
actually
have
a
job
for
a
non-profit
like
Audubon,
where
they
can
get
paid
to
do
all
the
creations
of
the
marketing
things
that
they've
done
for
class
rip.

A
special
homecoming
week
last
week,
Hilton
Head
Island
High
School
celebrated
its
2022
Homecoming
by
focusing
on
honoring
the
memory
of
a
former
Seahawk.
Throughout
the
week,
students
took
part
in
several
homecoming
activities
and
raised
more
than
six
thousand
dollars
for
the
newly
created
Timmy
vadela
scholarship
fund
Timmy
was
a
school
counselor
at
Hilton,
Head
high
and
passed
away
in
July
from
cancer.
She.
AM
Impacted
a
lot
of
the
lives
here
at
our
school,
our
students,
our
staff,
and
we
wanted
to
keep
our
memory
alive.
So
we
we
kind
of
tied
the
two
together
because
he
wanted
to
preserve
her
memory,
but
also
start
some
New
Traditions.
So
we
thought
by
doing
the
fundraising
this
week,
we
can
create
a
scholarship
fund
for
a
senior
that
meets
the
criteria
that
our
guidance
department
will
eventually
set
out
and
create
during.
