Students from public and private high schools across Beaumont were elected to represent the youth of the city. They meet bi-monthly throughout the school year to discuss issues affecting them from attractions to safety in order to make a positive change in the community.

Idea of the Beaumont youth advisory council is to be a mirror image of what our city council is. These students range from six different high schools and they take different positions that reflect the positions that our city, council and staff hold for the City of Beaumont.

I joined the youth Council to be able to be a representative for the Youth, because it's mostly adults and our Council. So joining youth Council allowed me to speak to the youth and then bring it back to the council to see how they feel and what they wanted to do. For us. As.

Think that trying to get Solutions in a Youth Forum like this is tremendously more advantageous than just talking.
