A
We
have,
let's
see,
first
of
all,
we're
in
session
if
you'll,
please,
silence
your
cell
phones
and
our
invocation
today
will
be
given
by
pastor
edison
colbert
with
paradise
missionary
baptist
church
pastor.
If
you'd
like
to
come
forward,
everyone,
if
you
choose
so
stand
with
me
and
remain
standing
for
the
pledge
to
our
nation's
flag.
B
B
But,
oh
god,
we
come
this
afternoon
with
a
prayer
of
thanksgiving
god.
We
just
all
want
to
join
in
at
this
time
and
just
say.
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
dear
god,
for
all
that
you
have
bestowed
upon
us.
Lord
you've,
given
us
a
country
that
we
can
come
and
we
can
have
the
freedom
of
worship,
we
can
be
free
to
worship
you.
We
can
be
free
to
raise
our
families.
Oh
god.
We
just
thank
you
for
all
the
freedoms
that
we
have
god.
We
thank
you
now
for
what
we
have
here
at
our
local
level.
B
We
thank
you
for
a
city
council
of
god
that
that
will
we
pray
that
we'll
pray
together
stay
together,
give
them
wisdom,
give
them
courage,
give
them,
oh
god,
the
vision,
lord
father,
for
this
city.
We
thank
you
for
our
leaders,
god
we
thank
you
not
only
for
this,
but
also
god,
our
federal.
We
thank
you
from
the
head
all
the
way
down
to
the
feet.
We
thank
you.
Now,
god,
and
god,
we
pray
for
those
that
are
fighting
this
covet
19.
B
B
We
give
you
all
the
praise
all
of
the
glory
father,
for
we
know
that
when
we
acknowledge
you
in
all
of
our
ways
that
you
will
direct
our
path
and
god
we
just
ask
you
now
just
to
keep
our
counsel
keep
this
city
keep
our
country
together.
We
pray
in
your
son
name
all
of
these
and
we
ask,
in
his
name,
amen,
amen.
A
Thank
you,
so
much
councilmember
niels
will
not
be
joining
us
today.
A
I
do
have
one
proclamation
that
I'd
like
to
deliver
and
I
will
call
on
some
individuals
to
make
some
comments
after
the
proclamation
and
also,
I
know,
there's
council
members
here
that
helped
bring
this
to
fruition,
and
so
before
we
have
the
family
and
friends
come
up
to
speak
I'll.
Ask
if
they
have
any
comments.
A
A
Then
in
1956
he
married
anne
brown
and
his
blessings
continued
with
four
more
children,
billy
aka,
bunny
roderick
and
regina
and
kevin
who
were
both
deceased
and
whereas
the
first
professional
position
at
a
radio
station
was
in
1952
at
war
or
in
savannah
georgia.
He
then
accepted
a
position
with
wtht
in
hartford
connecticut
before
starting
his
historical
career
with
kjet
radio
station
boy,
brown
rose
to
to
the
top
of
the
cage
at
the
top
of
kjet
and
became
a
program
director
and
announcer.
A
Kjet
was
beaumont's
first
african-american
owned
radio
station
at
1380
on
the
am
dial
kjet
was
also
known
as
being
located
at
12.
50
am
and
107.7
fm
on
the
radio
kj
operated
in
the
early
1950s
through
the
1970s
kjet
radio
was
one
of
the
few
texas
radio
stations
invited
to
the
white
house
by
the
late
president,
richard
nixon
to
be
honored
for
their
great
influence
and
success.
A
A
A
Vice
president
board
of
directors
and
served
as
the
president
of
the
southwest
regional
chapter
from
1966
through
1967.,
he
was
selected
as
the
most
outstanding
and
influential
radio
personality
of
the
year.
During
the
17th
annual
convention
of
the
natra
boy,
brown
was
the
director
of
kjet
and
vice
president
of
the
national
group.
During
the
time
he
was
awarded,
he
was
also
awarded
the
tommy
smalls
memorial
award
in
honor
of
the
late
founder
of
natra
association.
A
A
A
He
was
also
awarded
the
title
of
colonel
on
the
executive
staff
by
governor
edwin
edwards
in
1973,
and
whereas
boy
brown
worked
and
played
with
the
best
and
brightest
in
the
business,
his
kjet
team
became
family
together.
This
dynamic
team
broke
down
barriers
and
paved
the
way
for
the
first
team
of
djs
to
play
soul,
music
in
southeast
texas,
a
few
of
boy,
brown's,
immediate
disc,
jockey,
family
and
kjet,
disc,
jockey,
family
and
friends.
A
Brown
and
I
gotta
love
hallie.
She
worked
with
bunny
on
this
for
many
days
and
she
made
it
bigger
for
me
and
I
didn't
see
it
and
I
had
to
struggle
through
that.
So
thank
you,
halle
in
our
office.
Does
anybody
like
to
say
anything
before
I
ask
the
family
to
come
up?
Yes,
okay.
I.
E
I
grew
up
in
the
60s,
but
I
was
in
elementary
school
at
the
time
and
I
had
two
aunts
that
was
one
was
in
high
school.
One
was
in
junior
high,
so
they
couldn't
dial
the
rotary
dial
phone
fast
enough
to
get
on
the
request
line,
but
for
some
reason
I
could
always
get
the
request
line
when
they
couldn't
get
the
request
line.
E
So
that
was
my
memories
of
kjette
and
then
on
sundays.
They
would
have
a
teenage
dance
in
what
is
this
little
bitty
room?
That
is
probably
the
size
of
some
people's
closets
today,
but
for
some
reason
it
was
packed
and
everyone
was
there.
My
this
is
my
pastor.
That's
sitting
there
agreeing
that
was
probably
there
also,
but
it
brings
back
a
lot,
a
lot
of
memories
and
if
you
sit
back
and
think
about
a
certain
song
or
record,
it
can
just
put
you
back
in
that
same
place
of
where
you
were
at
that
time.
E
I
could
hear
a
song
and
I
could
remember.
Oh,
I
remember
I
was
in
such
and
such
place
at
that
time,
and
I
can
remember
hearing
that
song
or
if
you
know
you
were
with
a
group
of
people
and
you
would
just
ride
along
and
sing,
and
so
music
is
really
a
therapy
for
a
lot
of
people,
and
I
know
I
used
it
to
put
my
babies
to
sleep
when
they
wouldn't
wouldn't
want
to
go
to
bed
put
them
in
the
car.
Put
the
music
on
and
just
ride
until
they
slept.
E
E
It
was
where
you
got
your
information
from
firsthand
for
the
black
community
so
to
all
of
you
that
are
here
to
all
of
those
that
have
passed
on.
Thank
you
for
the
jobs
that
you
did.
Thank
you
for
being
the
voice
of
the
black
community
and
again
I
was
so
proud
to
work
with
with
bonnie
and
talk
with
tony
I
mean
I
just
got
excited
when
I
would
talk
to
hallie
and
thank
you
hallie
for
a
awesome
proclamation.
A
G
F
That
healing
within
our
community
those
folks
like
william
boy
brown,
willie,
k
and
cal
weaver,
those
were
individuals
that
came
before
and
then
it
was
tony
tony
renfro
with
kjack.
I
recall
the
k-jet
solo,
rama
record
hops
on
sunday
afternoons.
F
It
was
a
little
bit
bigger
than
the
closet,
but
it
was,
it
was
always
packed.
It
was
always
a
lot
of
laughter,
a
lot
of
fun
and
then
one
of
the
first
female
djs
that
I
recall
in
my
lifetime
was
bunny
bubbling
bunny
brown,
so
she
picked
up
the
tarts.
She
picked
up
the
profession
that
was
given
to
her
by
her
dad.
She
did
it
well,
while
she
was
in
beaumont,
she
was
very
influential
a
lot
of
people
love.
You
still
love
you.
We
appreciate
it.
F
It's
good
to
see
you
again
but
and
the
legacy
goes
on
tutorial
and
some
of
the
others
that
are
still-
and
I
know,
alice
ramsey.
At
one
point
she
had
the
talk,
shows
and
had
the
community
heart
at
heart
and
listened
to
the
concerns
of
the
community
and
expressed
them
and
allowed
individuals
to
come
in,
and
so
that's
what
started
it
here,
and
so
I
have
very
fond
memories
of
kjet
1380.
F
E
A
Thank
you
so
much
councilmember
and
councilmember
moutain
and
I
are
close
to
the
same
age
and
I
actually
remember
kjat
too,
but
those
days
it
really
bridged
the
gap,
because
kayc
was
1350
and
kjette
was
1380
and
we
would
go
in
between
both
of
them.
So
I
just
even
back
then
an
alcohol
still
on
the
air
on
I
heart,
radio
and
klbi
92.5,
but
but
kjet
and
koic
were
the
two
stations
at
that
time,
because
we
really
didn't
have
cds,
we
didn't
have
fm.
We
didn't
that's
what
you
listened
to
so
and
alice.
A
I
think
I
even
talked
to
you
on
your
show
one
time
so
we
appreciate
y'all
being
here
today
and
now
I'll,
give
the
the
the
table
to
boy
brown's
children
who
is
bunny
who's
here,
bunny
brown
and
virgil,
brown,
son
and
daughter.
A
A
H
Hi,
how
are
you
thank
you
so
much,
and
I
know
you
have
some
other
people
that
want
to
say
a
few
words.
Please
feel
free
y'all
say
a
few
words
and
congratulations
to
you.
It's
a.
A
I
I
And
and
and
first
off
I
I
have
to
give
recognition
to
my
my
brother,
virgil.
You
know
he
is
the
one
who
would
come
I'm
in
seattle.
He
is
the
one
who
would
come
monthly
to
talk
and
try
to
get
something
going,
something
for
our
dad
and
because
of
his
efforts
we
were
able
to
get
come
together
and
finally
bring
pride
and
joy
to
the
brown
family
and
mayor
becky
ames.
I
I
I
read
about
miss
brown
and
the
city
of
beaumont's
proclamation
for
her
father
as
mayor
of
edmonds.
I
wanted
to
reach
out
and
recognize
your
efforts
to
honor
mr
brown
and
also
acknowledge
mr
miss
brown's.
That
would
be
me
significant
contributions
to
the
music
scene
and
black
entertainers,
and
this
is
just
an
honor
to
be
here.
I
don't
want
to
cry
because
we
have
been
longing
for
this
day
for
many
many
years,
and
I
just
want
to
thank
you
guys
so
much,
but
we
have
we,
we
don't.
I
We
don't
have
enough
words
to
show
our
appreciation
to
you,
mayor
ames
and
the
council,
and
especially
you
councilwoman
mouton,
you
stuck
with
us
through
the
whole
thing
and
you
have
brought
pride
and
joy
to
the
brown
family
today.
Thank
you.
Thank.
A
You
and
I
think
there
was
miss
ramsay.
You
said
you
wanted
to
say
something:
okay,.
H
A
G
G
G
Music
is
a
universal
language
and
it
closes
anything.
It
brings
people
together,
no
matter
what
the
ethnicity
rays
of
creed
or
color
is.
You
can
always
find
music
to
bridge
that
gap
and
to
put
those
hearts
together,
beating
as
one
and
that's
what
we
need
today.
We
need
a
boy
brown
in
beaumont,
texas
and
in
america
today
we
need
a
lot
of
boy
browns.
G
A
C
G
Right
right-
and
I'm
just
grateful
today
that
this
is
the
place
where
boy
brown
lived.
He
chose
to
be
here
and
start
this
fast
movement
that
has
moved
throughout
the
country.
Thank
you,
so
very
much.
Thank
you.
Miss
ramsay.
Thank
you.
J
My
father
was
from
savannah
georgia
and
new
boy
brown
way
before
I
was
even
thought
of
and
many
years
later
we
moved
into
a
new
neighborhood
and
then
a
couple
of
weeks
later
I
met
their
brother,
jay
brown.
I
told
him,
I
said
you
must
be
lost.
He
goes
no.
We
live
here.
J
The
next
day
I
went
to
their
home
and
met
their
sister,
regina
brown
and,
as
they
would
say,
the
rest
is
history,
regina
and
I
remained
dear
dear
friends
up
until
up
until
her
death,
we
stayed
in
trouble
the
entire
time
she
was
alive.
However,
I
am
very
proud
of
this
family
proud
to
be
an
extended
family
member
of
theirs,
and
I
have
an
assassin.
I
have
a
certificate
of
appreciation
that
was
sent
by
houston
city,
councilman,
at-large,
councilman,
michael
kubash,
and
it
reads
presented
to
the
family
of
william
boy
brown.
J
The
city
of
houston
recognizes
william
boy
brown
for
his
superior
contributions
as
a
radio
announcer.
His
dedication
to
serve
the
people
and
support
businesses
in
the
community
was
proven
to
be
the
best,
a
famous
quote.
We
make
a
living
by
what
we
get,
but
we
make
a
life
by
what
we
give
william
was
a
champion
in
the
community
and
to
so
many
he
loved.
The
city
of
houston
is
proud
to
salute
william
brown
on
this
special
day.
Thank.
A
K
Well,
we
got
them
all
all
of
those
belong
to
me
all
of
those
different
names
just
like
to
say
that
it's
an
honor
as
well
as
a
pleasure
to
be
here
with
you
celebrating
boy
brown's
day,
boy,
brian
and
I
worked
together
from
1954
through
his
death
prior
to
his
death
in
1970.
K
I
was
with
kjet
for
a
period
of
25
years.
I
recognize
spate
my
cousin,
mr
odwin
samuel.
This
gentleman
is
an
attorney
he's
the
son-in-law
of
in
the
sharpshooting
family,
jerry
nathan,
which
I
worked
for
the
family
for
years.
It's
just
an
honor
and
a
pleasure
for
the
city
and
bec
mayor
ames,
you
I
don't
know
whether
you
remember
me
or
not,
but
we
did
several
naacp
banquets
next
door.
Yes,.
K
But
anyway,
it's
an
honor
as
well
as
a
pleasure
and
a
blessing
to
still
be
here,
and
I
am
the
only
original
living
cajun
job,
and
I
certainly
hope
that
I
can
go
along
for
many
many
more
years
and
all
of
a
lot
of
these.
Ladies
young
ladies
and
older,
ladies,
not
old
young,
ladies
better,
be
quiet,
the
ones
that
kept
me
going,
miss
muton
as
she
said
she
used
to
dial
and
get
the
request
in
on
sunday
afternoon.
She
couldn't
come
to
solorama,
but
it
was
an
honor
to
have
her
relatives.
K
A
M
Thank
you.
Thank
you,
mayor
and
council.
Thank
you.
This
is.
This
is
great.
You
guys
have
on
my
my
idol,
barb
brown.
I
was
I'm
the
baby
of
the
whole
group
yeah.
I
didn't
start
it.
I
didn't
start
on
radio
until
1970
as
a
13
year
old
teenager
and
like
robin,
would
say:
we'll
have
those
solo
ramadans
in
the
back
studio
a
and
when
they
left
they
had
so
many
people
there
when
they
left.
M
We
had
to
mount
the
floors,
but
you
know
it's
a
great
honor
to
be
here
to
to
give
my
my
my
friend
mark
brown,
because
he's
the
one
who
took
me
off
the
bicep
and
broke
me
in
and
and
we've
had
some
great
years
together
for
the
10
years
I
spent
in
radio,
and
with
that
I
said,
thank
you
very
much
again.
This
is
his
day
if
he
was
here
today,
he
will
tell
you
kj
radio
was
the
only
show
in
town,
and
it
was
thank
you.
A
I
One
more
thing
you
know
we
have
talked
about
solo
rama,
everyone,
who's
spoken
have
mentioned
solo
rama,
so
in
april
my
dad's
birthday,
hopefully
the
clove
at
19,
will
be
under
control
and
we're
we're
crossing
our
fingers
on
that
and
we
will
be
doing
a
solo,
rama,
2020,
grown
and
sexy.
But
when
you
remember
being
there
in
your
bobby
socks,
so
stop
sitting
up
there
front.
You
know
what
I'm
saying
so
yeah
we're
going
to
make
it
a
bigger
celebration.
You
know
right
now
we
understand
with
the
with
the
pandemic.
I
A
We'll
all
look
forward
to
that
and
for
the
pandemic
to
be
gone,
so
we
are
we're
now
going
to
move
to
our
general
business.
So
if
you're
here
for
the
proclamation
and
you
need
to
leave
now
is
the
time
to
do
so.
However,
as
always,
you're
welcome
to.
D
A
So
we
have
an
executive
session
posted
on
our
agenda,
but
it
will
be
tabled
till
next
week.
A
A
A
If
you
haven't
already
done
so,
and
you
would
like
to
speak
on
one
of
these
items,
please
fill
out
the
green
slip
and
hand
it
to
the
officer
our
city
clerk
will
call
out
your
name.
We
would
appreciate,
if
you
keep
your
comments
to
three
minutes.
The
green
light
will
come
on
when
you
approach
the
podium
and
the
red
light
will
come
on
when
your
time
is
up.
If
you're
here
to
speak
on
any
other
item
today,
I
will
open
up
the
microphone
at
the
end
of
our
general
business
for
that
purpose.
C
Addie
allen
9695
cross
street
by
my
texas,
and
I'm
not
sure
if
she
wants
to
do
public
public
comments
or
item
number
one.
Okay,
she's
going
to
go,
find
out
mayor.
C
C
C
N
The
mayor
council,
I
don't
know
attorney.
N
N
Are
you
know
suffering
from
coronavirus?
God
help
them.
I'm
standing
here,
because
I
was
looking
at
there's
a
franchise
issue
on
the
agenda
for
a
small
barrel
truck.
I
think-
and
I
was
just
looking
at
section
five
and
just
wondering
if
this
is
commercial
insurance,
because
it
doesn't
say
that
or
commercial
liability
it
says
auto
and
liability.
N
N
N
All
right,
the
next
item
is
even-
and
I
thank
the
council
members
that
suggested
this.
It's
a
great
idea.
You
know
for
people
that
don't
work,
I
don't
or
do
work,
but
I'm
asking
because
today
it
was
really
difficult
to
park.
So
I
don't
know
if
you're
going
to
consider,
moving
and-
and
I
know
y'all
are
going
to
work
out
the
details,
but
it's
awful
parking
when
there's
big
items
on
and
I
think
evening
will
probably
give
people
better
opportunity
so
with
covet.
N
I
don't
know
you
know
some
of
us
wear
masks
some
of
us.
Don't
we
got
a
high
rate
going
and
as
citizens
as
leaders.
I
would
hope
that
we
consider
the
distancing
the
masking
and
where
the
location
is
because
ingress
and
egress
in
this
small
place
and
that's
just
a
safety
item,
we
need
to
talk
about
it.
Thank
you
have
a
good
day.
A
Okay,
so
there
appears
to
be
no
other
citizen
who
wishes
to
speak
on
these
items.
Counsel.
Is
there
a
motion,
please,
on
the
consent,
agenda,
move.
A
O
Man,
council
live
number.
One
is
an
ordinance
entitled
an
ordinance
granting
a
franchise
for
solid
waste
collection
and
transportation
services
to
wmd's
equipment.
Rentals
llc
the
company
is
a
locally
owned
business,
renting
rolloff
boxes
with
its
beaumont
office
located
at
8605
broussard
road.
The
franchise
agreement
would
provide
for
a
term
of
one
year
from
its
effective
date
and
a
franchise
fee
of
seven
percent
of
gross
revenues.
O
A
Thank
you,
and
did
you
mention
the
question
ms
allen
had?
I
think
you
talked
about
insurance,
the.
O
Company
shot
all
times,
carry
liability
insurance
and
it's
spelled
out
further
in
that
section:
five,
demonic
laws,
insurance
and
bond
clause,
and
this
is
standard
language
we
have
with
all
of
our
franchise
agreements.
Thank.
P
A
E
D
Thank
you,
mr
manager,
mayor
I'd
like
to
move
that
this
be
table
for
a
week,
so
that
council,
member
neil,
will
have
the
opportunity
to
be
here
when
we
consider
it.
He
asked
that
I
make
that
motion
for
him.
A
Okay,
well
that
changed
all
right.
Thank
you.
Does
anybody
have
a
problem
with
moving
it
to
next
week?
All
right
the
motion
is
to
table
it.
Do
I
need
a
motion
on
that.
A
There's
a
motion
and
a
second
on
the
floor
to
table
this
item
all
in
favor,
please
say:
aye
aye
opposed
the
motion
carries
unanimously.
Okay,
so
that
concludes
our
general
business
today.
Now
would
be
the
time
for
any
citizen
who
wishes
to
speak.
If
you
would
like
to
make
public
comment-
and
you
haven't
already
done
so-
please
fill
out
the
green
slip-
hand
it
to
officer
morrow.
D
But
this
memorial
that
ezekiel
uribe
this
is
the
scout
that
I
was
referencing
created
is
beautiful.
He
raised
the
money
for
his
eagle
scout
project
by
selling
engraved
bricks.
It
was
appropriate
that
he
did
this
commemoration
yesterday
on
pearl
harbor
day,
it
was
the
79th
anniversary
of
pearl
harbor
and
council
member
fam
believes
your
dad's
birthday
that
same
day.
So
you
know
we
have
two
things
to
be
thinking
about
that.
H
D
P
Thank
you
mayor.
As
everyone
knows,
I'm
sure.
On
thursday
november
the
19th
I
did
test
positive
for
coleman,
19.
went
through
the
process
of
the
10
days
that
I
was
quarantined.
I
only
had
one
day
that
I
would
consider
bad.
So
in
comparison
to
most
people,
I
had
a
mild
case,
but
I'm
back.
I
was
back
last
week
and
and
doing
well.
I
do
appreciate
everyone's
prayers
and
concern
and
encourage
you
to
continue
praying
for
those
that
are
fighting
the
covet
19.
P
L
Thank
you
mayor.
Well,
we
do
appreciate
ezekiel.
I
was
happy
to
help
him
out.
As
I
know,
many
of
our
other
council
members
were
as
well
because
any
time
you
take
time
and
remember
the
sacrifices
that
were
made
december,
the
8th
79
years
ago,
I'm
not
sure
that
evelyn
lord
was
born
in,
but
I'm
going
to
assume
she
isn't
that'd
make
her
younger.
L
So
when
we
think
about
the
greatest
generation
there's
a
reason:
they're
called
that
they
had
gone
through
a
depression
and
on
december
the
7th
in
the
japanese
bomb
pearl
harbor.
It
was
like
well
what
else
can
happen
and
for
those
that
don't
believe
that
god
had
a
hand
in
all
this.
They
just
need
to
take
a
step
back
and
realize
that
the
draft
was
only
passed
by
one
vote
earlier
and,
as
admiral
yamamoto
said,
who
was
who
headed
up
the
japanese
fleet?
L
L
In
some
really
great
things
and
brought
freedom
to
people
that
never
met
those
soldiers,
we've
got
a
hundred
thousand
that
are
buried
in
europe
that
never
came
home
and
when
you
think
about
all
the
sacrifices
and
all
the
things
that
have
happened,
you
realize
that
the
one
thing
that
makes
america
great
is
the
people.
L
L
Some
of
us
are
fighting
it
with
our
families,
who
have
had
it
both
my
daughters
had
it
their
mother
had
it.
My
sister
is
in
long-term
care
at
mid-jefferson
and
will
probably
be
there
through
the
holidays,
while
she
kind
of
tries
to
recoup
you've
heard
me
talk
about
my
great
friend,
george
thomas,
who
literally
saved
my
life
when
he
discovered
that
I
think
you
got
a
problem
with
your
prostate
and
I
went
in
for
prostate
cancer
surgery
within
a
few
weeks.
L
I
want
to
keep
him
on
the
prayer
list.
He's
getting
better
and
prayers
do
make
a
difference,
and
god
looks
after
us
yesterday.
I
was
fortunate
enough
to
visit
calvary,
tabernacle,
pastor,
vickery
and
his
church
did
a
thing
for
did
a
program
for
our
first
responders
and
chief
singletary
was
there
chief
white?
Was
there
councilman
neal?
Was
there
as
well
as
were
several
members
of
the
fire
department?
L
L
I
also
want
to
say
I'm
glad
that
audwen
and
robin
carried
the
banner
for
william
boy
brown,
I'm
I'm
the
only
one
old
enough
to
have.
Actually
that
can
say
one
of
my
one
of
my
dad
and
I
our
companies
actually
bought
advertising
on
kjet
and
it's
hard
to
believe.
It's
been
that
long.
I
was
much
younger
then
had
hair.
L
When
you
see
you
know
the
great
barbara
lynn
and
the
impact
that
she
had
on
music
as
well,
it's
great
to
see
willie
k
and
these
guys
still
have
great
voices.
They
can
go
back
on
the
radio
today
matter
of
fact,
if
al
caldwell
can
kill
still
keep
doing
it,
I
believe
anybody
can.
But
again
I
want
to
thank
robin
and
aldrin
for
carrying
the
ball,
because
there
wasn't
any
question:
he
had
a
big
impact
on
our
community
and
it
was
extremely
positive
and
that's
it
mayor.
F
Mayor
I'd
just
like
to
at
this
point,
I
would
like
to
ask
that
we
consider,
after
the
first
of
the
year,
having
a
workshop
and
dealing
with
water
and
sewer,
I'm
seeing
increased,
calls
in
ward
3,
particularly
with
problems
with.
J
F
I've
been
fortunate
to
work
with
a
couple
of
city
managers
and
several
many
department
directors.
I
understand
that
we're
not
to
go
directly
to
individual
department
heads
to
get
things,
try
to
get
things
done,
and
but
it
did,
it
does
bring
concern
to
me
when
there
is
something
of
somewhat
of
an
emergency.
F
E
Thank
you
mayor
again,
congratulations
to
the
brown
family
on
the
proclamation
for
the
boy
brown
day
and
mayor.
I
want
to
thank
you
for
working
so
hard
and
diligent
with
ms
brown,
myself
and
hallie,
because
it
was
a
lot
of
information.
E
Hallie
got
really
really
excited
because
she
was
digging
into
all
of
the
facts
and
learning
things
that
was
going
on
as
that
proclamation
was
being
formed.
So
it
was
very,
very
interesting
and
even
locating
the
wonderful
voices
voices
that
we
have
local
that
came
up
to
the
podium
and
spoke
today.
E
E
If
you
could
check
with
txdot,
because
college
street
is
part
of
txdot
jurisdiction,
but
I
do
want
to
let
the
citizens
know
that
live
in
the
23rd
edition
that
it
has
been
reported,
but
I
will
get
back
with
them.
There
has
been
four
major
accidents
where
citizens
have
totaled
their
cars
out
with
that
one
turn
signal,
and
it's
been
in
a
span
of
approximately
three
months
at
that
same
intersection.
E
I
would
like
to
thank
calvary
church
also
and
dr
reverend
vickery
for
honoring
the
first
responders,
the
doctors,
the
nurses,
police
department,
fire
department,
it's
been
a
long
long
year
and
I
think
we're
all
praying
and
believing
that
this
vaccine
and
covet
will
somehow
come
to
an
end,
and
I
think
you
know
with
the
vaccine.
We
are
seeing
some
progress
and
hopefully
we
could
go
about
our
normal
business
and
life
as
soon
as
everyone
get
vaccinated.
E
E
E
E
Mr
hank,
I
believe
mr
hank
has
cut
every
person's
hair
that
lived
in
in
ward
4,
if
not
all
over
the
city
of
beaumont,
but
I
truly
truly
want
to
send
condolences
to
mr
lee
harrington
aka,
mr
hank,
that
barber
shop
has
been
on
finet
road
for
as
long
a
while
as
long
as
I
can
remember
and
he's
a
legend
with
in
in
his
own
rights,
just
being
right
there
in
in
the
community
of
ward
four
so
again
to
the
family
of
mr
lee
harrington.
A
A
A
So
I
want
to
remind
everyone
how
important
that
is,
and
people
have
the
right
to
their
privacy.
That's
all
I
have
so
we
do
not
have
an
executive
session.
We
now
are
adjourned.
