New Staff Academy Loop Why
B
We
were
working
on
a
marble
art
where
there's
a
marble
covered
in
paint
and
you
roll
it
around
on
the
paper,
and
it
makes
this
really
pretty
design,
and
then
you
can
glue
your
name
onto
it
with
paper
and
bubble
letters
or
block
letters.
I
put
bubble
letters
for
my
name
in
green
because
I
thought
it
matched
the
background.

The
class
is
transitioning
from
technology
to
more
of
a
steam,
lab
science,
technology,
engineering,
art
and
math.
So
right
now
we're
doing
more
of
an
art
piece,
but
we've
also
been
doing
coding,
we're
going
to
be
doing
lego,
robots
and
they're
also
going
to
be
doing
3d
printing,
I
love
this
class.
I
love
teaching
the
kids
all
these
different
steam
projects
because
they
just
get
so
excited.
D
D
She
cried
hi,
my
name
is
judy
low
and
I'm
the
library
media
assistant
here
at
raleigh
park
elementary
today
we
saw
the
first
grade
class,
miss
elliott's
class,
and
we
had
the
opportunity
to
read
a
story
and
to
talk
about
some
book
recommendations
and
then
the
kids
have
the
opportunity
to
check
out
books,
look
at
new
books
that
have
just
arrived
into
the
library
and
we
focused
on
picture
books
and
early
chapter
books,
brian
great
job,
returning
your
books,
amulet,
have
you
started
reading
these?
Do
you
like
them?
D
I
love
what
I
do
here
at
raleigh
park,
because
I
have
number
one
the
opportunity
to
work
with
so
many
people
that
inspire
me
and
I'm
able
in
a
small
way
then
to
share
what
I
know
and
what
I
gain
from
others
and
try
to
inspire
kids
so
that
they're
going
to
want
to
become
lifelong
learners,
lifelong
lovers
of
books
and
no
matter
where
they
go.
They
can
always
find
a
library.
They
can
always
find
a
good
book
and
there's
always
things
to
learn.
Each
and
every
day.
E
E
I
don't
know
miracle
workers
you
all
are
the
school.
Social
worker
is
really
a
role
that
focuses
on
community
support,
our
families
and
our
students
and
teachers
in
a
different
way.
So
I
always
like
to
describe
it
as
the
person
that
might
be
addressing
or
supporting
things
that
impact
a
student's
success
that
are
coming
from
outside
laura.
F
Works
with
students
to
support
their
behavioral
health
and
wellness
and
social
emotional
well-being.
I
really
love
and
appreciate
having
laura
on
our
staff,
because
she
has
such
a
calming
presence.
She
has
a
very
gentle,
yet
fearless
demeanor.
This
time
is
a
really
hard
time
for
a
lot
of
people
and
laura's
really
great
about
embracing.
What's
hard
about
it
and
saying
here's
something
that
we
can
do
about
it,
helping
people
realize
that
they
are
resilient
and
they
do
have
the
strength
to
move
forward.
E
Today
is
a
wednesday
on
the
first
and
third
wednesdays.
I
run
a
food
pantry
we're
an
oregon
food
bank
site
here
at
kinnaman,
so
we
don't
just
serve
kinnaman
families,
but
we're
also
available
to
the
larger
community
in
this
zip
code.
I
started
something
this
year
in
our
food
pantry,
where
I'm
bringing
aloha
high
school
volunteers
over
to
our
food
pantry
to
help
with
serving
their
own
community.
Today,.
G
E
I
love
what
I
do,
because
I
love
people,
but
now
that
the
district
has
made
an
investment
in
individuals
that
go
into
the
schools
and
help.
I
like
being
part
of
an
effort
to
say
how
can
I
be
best
used
to
serve
this
community,
and
when
I
mean
community,
I
mean
the
kind
of
community
of
families,
as
well
as
the
teachers
and
the
admin
and
the
district
itself,
and
really
work
on
behalf
of
everybody
to
tie
it
all
together.
H
I
I'm
rhonda
harwood
and
I
am
a
kindergarten
teacher
here
at
for
growth,
so
we've
been
working
on
subtraction
within
five
and
really
the
games
are
the
best
way
for
them
to
learn,
and
so
we
were
playing
bears
in
a
cave,
it's
where
they
have
their
five
bears.
They
have
to
hide
some
in
the
cave,
they
have
cover
mini
sticking
out
and
then
the
kids
have
to
guess
how
many
are
in
a
cave,
which
is
getting
them
ready
for
subtraction,
it's
more
age-appropriate
for
them
and
they
enjoy
it
and
they're
learning,
while
they're
doing
it.
I
Before
I
started
teaching
here
at
her
grove,
I
was
a
parent
here.
My
three
kids
went
through
here,
so
it
was
about
11
years
that
I
spent
as
a
parent
on
pto
on
art
literacy
and
when
I
went
back
to
teaching
a
position
opened
up
here,
and
I
knew
it's
where
I've
always
wanted
to
end
up
that
equals
five.
That
sounds
like
langston.
Did
you
agree,
or
you
agree
with
langston?
I
J
My
daily
schedule
involves
reading
groups.
I
have
first
grade
that
I
pick
up.
First
then
kinder.
What
we
are
practicing
with
them
is
to
help
them
with
their
abcs,
making
sure
that
they
know
the
names
of
the
letters.
The
sounds
of
the
letters
that
way
we're
helping
them
make
that
connection
so
that
as
they
learn,
the
sounds
they're
going
to
learn
to
read
next
page.
J
J
I
love
what
I
do
here
at
rock
creek,
because
it
gives
me
a
lot
of
self-satisfaction
happiness.
I
love
working
with
the
kids.
I
love
helping
out
I'm
known
here
in
the
school.
As
you
know,
I'm
always
smiling,
because
I
am
I'm
always
smiling.
I'm
always
happy
to
be
here
and
and
thankful
that
I
have
this
this
job.
K
L
K
The
weight
now
that
looks
interesting,
I
wonder
oh,
is
that
going
to
work.
Oh
I'm
saying
that
works.
The
students
were
given
a
submersible
body
to
work
with,
it
can
be
filled
with
air
which
is
less
dense
than
water,
or
a
number
of
different
items
that
I've
given
them.
That
are
heavier
and
they
have
a
piece
of
pork
to
also
add
buoyancy
to
it.
So
they're
trying
to
find
a
good
sweet
spot
with
all
of
that.
