Welcome back to cougar cast on this week's episode. If the structure and function and interdependence of different systems within our body.

Name is Jeff Lewis I'm, a fifth grade teacher Cooper mount Elementary School in Beaverton, School District, and we are working on a classroom, podcast titled cougar, cast where students write and produce segments or a podcast that we share with our community.

We've been doing some podcasting lately, where we have to get information about different topics and right now we are doing body systems, we have the integumentary system, so what we have to do is find the function, the structure and everything about the attack inventory system and then put them into a podcast thing.

I really like about podcasts, it incorporates all elements of literacy. So there's a research component which involves obviously reading and highlighting the information. There's a summarization component. There's a writing component. There's a revision of the scripts that we write for the particular segments for each episode and then, of course, there is the production component where they are producing it collaboratively as a group and that recording editing, revising and publishing of where we can share the work that we're doing with a community.

The arteries and veins have blood move around the body when oxygenated blood back to me, then I shoot it up to the lungs. So we can breathe. Let's hear from the arteries, things are at home, I'm in the artery I'm filling the tubes that carry blood and oxygen throughout the body.
