A
A
Want
to
begin
with
a
roll
call
here
or
remembers
board
members
when
you
hear
your
name,
if
you
could
say
present,
Susan
Greenberg.
C
B
Thank
you,
tomka.
A
I
am
present,
and
so
we
have
an
award
here
then
go
to
a
land
acknowledgment
I'd
like
to
acknowledge
that
our
district
rests
on
the
traditional
land
of
the
Tualatin
kalakuya.
We
thank
the
ancestors
of
the
colloquia
for
being
the
original
stewards
and
Protectors
of
these
lands.
We
are
honored
by
the
collective
work
of
many
indigenous
Nations
leaders
and
families.
We
demonstrate
resilience,
resistance,
revitalization,
healing
and.
A
Very
we'll
move
forward
from
the
first
part,
which
is
the
opening
to
the
meeting
to
the
next
part,
which
is
our
recognitions.
A
A
Wake
up,
Beaverton
is
a
local
non-profit
committed
to
serving
disadvantaged
and
marginalized
people
in
Beaverton,
the
group
partnered
with
BSD
and
several
other
community
organizations
to
distribute
school
supplies,
food
and
other
services
to
nearly
5
000
students
at
four
distribution
events
in
August.
Let's
watch.
A
A
Christina
was
unable
to
be
here
tonight,
but
Jefferson.
Would
you
like
to
add
anything?
A
Up
we
have
the
superintendents
report
so
we'll
hand
it
over
to
Dr
Valdez
that'll
be
quick,
so
thank
you.
First,
two
weeks
of
school
we'll
be
able
to
visit
33
School
sites.
This
will
be
the
end
of
the
school
year
and
it's
been
a
really
good
return
to
pre-covered
routine
I
call
it
prequel
routine.
It's
not
normal,
but
pre-covered
routine
for
the
folks
out
of
the
buildings
and
I'm
here
in
Yahoo
across
the
area
as
well
just
encourage
seeing
students
embracing
the
structure
of
the
school
day.
A
Our
Schools
staff
and
parents
are
getting
into
the
full
swing
of
school
activity.
So
I'm
really
excited
about
that.
You
may
have
noticed
some
changes
in
the
structure
of
the
school
board.
Meeting
agenda
this
week
of
the
chief
of
staff
and
I
worked
with
board
leadership
to
make
adjustments
to
meet
the
morning
agenda
a
little
bit
more
clear,
comprehensible
and
comprehensible.
E
A
Consistent
the
changes
should
help
forward
members
and
members
of
the
public
have
clear
information
about
what
the
is
expected
at
each
meeting.
Changes
you'll
see
include
clearly
laying
out
what
occurs
at
the
start
of
each
meeting
send
a
stage
with
Community
recognition
and
superintendent's
report
at
the
very
beginning,
making
a
clear
distinction
between
items
intended
solely
its
informational
reports
for
the
board
and
items
on
which
the
board
will
be
making
a
decision
and
moving
the
consent
agenda.
Earlier
on
the.
E
A
As
we
get
through
how
this
coveted
time
have
more
and
more
of
our
staff
are
going
to
be
present
to
be
able
to
take
questions
from
the
board
if
an
agenda
items
sent
together
on
the
school
before
they
leave
to
get
too
much
into
the
evening.
A
A
The
planning
process
will
engage
board
members,
District
staff
students,
families
in
our
broader
Community,
including
kids,
and
providing
input
and
developing
a
plan
for
final
approval
for
the
board
later
on
the
school
year
and
Dr
Campbell
will
be
with
the
board
on
October
3rd
during
the
work
session
to
discuss
that
plan
and
also
to
get
your
input.
The
proposed
renewal,
the
local,
optional
Levy,
has
been
certified
to
the
November
ballot
designated
measure
number
34-321,
all
right,
wonderful,
Communications,
Department,
led
by
Shelby
Shaw,
has
been
focused
this
week
on
finalizing
information
materials
for
our
community.
A
So
that's
coming.
It
goes
fans
in
English
and
on
the
district
website,
so
visuals
shown
how
many
teachers
in
each
School
the
liver,
provides
and
again
they
really
appreciate
all
the
work
done
by
the
communication
staff
as
we
prepare
for
this
heavy
heavy
limit
again.
Something
that
widely
needed
is
that
we
understand
that
that
Levy
knows
on
quite
a
few
teeth.
There's
286
feet
exact.
Lastly,
last
week
I
was
a
keynote
speaker
at
the
expanding
Metropolitan
chamber.
It
was
a
great
event
set
that
sat
with
the
Mexican
consul.
A
A
G
A
Good
to
see
people
back
in
person
and
not
in
one
inch
screens,
which
is
really
tough
to
do
anything
with
other
than
again.
It's
just
ready
to
see
people
I
think
people
were
excited
to
be
around
each
other
and
there's
about
600
people
present
at
events.
So
it
was
a
wonderful
event.
So
just
a
quick
brief
about
some
Keynotes
keynote
topics
I
want
to
share
before
so.
Thank
you.
A
Thank
you.
Dr
balderos.
Now
we
have
time
for
comments
from
our
employee
groups.
I
know
that
first
he's
asked
sapling
from
osce.
G
F
All
right
overall
I've
been
hearing
stories
of
students
being
excited
to
be
back
in
school
and
Educators
establishing
routines
and
getting
back
into
this
community.
F
There
are
a
couple
of
bubbles
of
large
class
sizes
and
assumes
are
identified
and
hopefully
resolved
I
encourage
our
staff
and
our
community
members
a
like
to
be
aware
of
the
upcoming
teachers
Levy,
which
it's
like
Arrangements
tonight
that
is
coming
up
on
the
November
of
Alex
I
would
encourage
everyone
to
move
yes
school
funding
from
the
state
of
Oregon
is
not
obviously
volatile,
and
it
is
a
generosity
of
our
community
that
makes,
in
my.
F
F
F
Our
classified
names,
you
are
unsung
heroes
in
our
school
stepping
in
to
provide
support,
so
we
will
work
in
nutrition
services,
special
education
classrooms
and
many
many
other
rules.
So
thanks
again
to
all
of
our
substitute
Educators
I'm
hopeful
that
you
will
feel
valued
and
celebrated
this
coming
year
and
every
year.
A
B
And
thank
each
and
every
one
of
you
for
taking
the
time
to
share
your
thoughts
with
us.
Thank
you
for
everyone
in
person
here
is
attending
the
school
board
meeting
with
us
today.
We
are
truly
grateful
for
your
presence
and
the
opportunity.
A
B
A
A
A
B
Are
allowed
to
comment
on
any
subject,
the
previous
restriction
on
common
name
only
on
agenda
items
before
the
board
has
been
removed.
Everyone
has
two
minutes
to
provide
testimony
to
the
board.
A
timer
will
be
set
and
will
go.
A
Off
at
the
two
minute
Mark,
if
you
continue
talking
beyond
the
two
minutes,
I
will
ask
you
to
end
your
comments
to
ensure
fair
treatment
for
all
commoners.
This
will
be
enforced
uniformly,
regardless
of
the
subject
matter
or
point
of
view
or
whether
you
have
finished
your
prepared
comments.
I
understand
it
can
be
difficult
to
provide
comments
within
this
shortened
time
period
and
recommend
that
any
comments
you
did
not
have
time
to
provide
orally
you
sent
to
the
board
in
email
or
paper
form.
A
Finally,
please
do
not
speak
or
interrupt
the
meeting
outside
of
the
two-minute
period
provided
for
your
testimony
if
this
occurs,
you'll
be
asked
to
leave
or
remove
the
meeting.
Thank
you
again
for
joining
us
tonight.
We
look
forward
to
hearing
your
comments
and
I
have
one
commenter
Colleen
Woodward
now.
B
A
Name
is
I,
have
three
grandchildren
that
go
to
school
and
then
first
day
of
school,
I
understand
protective
there's
some
first
day,
I've
ever
hunted
first
day
of
school
I'm
the
first
day
we
ride
buses
and
I
guess
my
concern
is
the
safety
and
well-being
of
all
children
that
ride
those
buses.
My
grandson
was
lost
for
oh
approximately
an
hour
and
a
half
before
you
were
able
to
locate
him
and
he
was
on
his
way
back
to
school.
He
had
gotten
on
the
wrong
class.
A
A
The
school
didn't
have
the
bus
route,
so
it
took
about
40
minutes
before
we
got
bus
routes
from
the
district
office,
so
that
three
or
four
different
people
could
take
those
routes
to
try
to
find
my
grandson
I
just
think
that
there
ought
to
be
more
and
maybe
a
lack
of
communication
between
the
school
and
the
transportation
office.
I,
don't
know
but
I.
Just
when
you,
when
I
talked
to
the
transportation
officer
said
my
grandson
was
not
the
only
one,
there
was
many
that
were
misplaced,
that
that
doesn't
take
away.
A
The
fear
of
you
know
a
child
is
out
there.
They
could.
He
could
have
possibly
gotten
off
that
bus
and
left
at
that
stop
and
the
bus
driver
drove
off
so
I
guess
my
question
to
the
board
again
to
transportation,
to
the
district
offices.
What
protocols
do
we
have
in
place
and
does
every
of
us
have
a
radio?
Does
every
radio
work
is
there
communication?
We
should
have
known
right
away
where
my
grandson
was
at
not
an
hour
and
a
half
later.
So
that's
my
concern
and
that's
why
I'm
here.
B
A
B
Okay,
I
think
this
time,
I
don't
see
any
other
blue
comment
sheets,
so
I
think
we're
finished
with
the
public.
B
A
B
Agenda
we'll
take
a
vote
of
the
board
board.
Members
will
answer
it:
I
N
A
or
a
Spain
when
I
call
your
name
Susan
Greenberg,.
B
B
A
To
move
into
the
reports
portion
of
our
meeting
and
as
we
start
with
Dr
Cordy
and
we've
got
20
minutes
for
this.
A
Good
evening
superintendent
balderas
chair,
Collette
board
members.
We
are
excited
to
be
here
with
you
this
evening
to
provide
you
with
a
report
and
an
update
on
all
things
back
to
school,
not
all
things
a
lot
of
things
back
to.
A
Have
three
of
my
colleagues
here
with
me
this
evening?
Each
of
them
are
executive
directors,
one
at
the
elementary
level,
one
at
the
middle
level
and
one's
at
the
high
school
level,
and
they
will
be
joining
me
in
giving
you
a
really
unique
perspective
and
updates
on
at
on
and
add
those
specific
levels,
and
so
just
in
a
few
moments,
I
will
invite
them
to
share.
But
before
we
do
that,
I
just
I'd
like
to
just
give
a
few
comments
that
are
more
broad,
I.
A
To
be
able
to
witness,
as
Dr
balderas
said,
those
pre-covered
routines,
it's
it's
feeling
like
it's
a
regular
type
of
school
year
again
and
that
truly
does
just
bring
joy
to
all
of
us
as
we're
out
in
schools.
A
We
one
of
the
things
that
that
we're
working
diligently
on
within
teaching
and
learning
is
putting
structures
in
place
so
that
we
are
providing
the
very
best
supports
possible
to
our
schools
and
really
working
to
remove
anything
that
could
be
a
barrier
to
supporting
the
most
important
work.
That
happens
and
that's
the
work
that
happens
in
our
classrooms
every
day,
and
so
there
are
a
few
organizational
pieces
that
we've
put
in
place
that
we
believe
will
really
help
with
that
within
the
teaching
and
learning
Department.
We
are
working
hard
to
desilo
our
work.
We.
B
A
Being
very
intentional,
it's
a
very
large
Department,
with
multiple
teams,
I'm
working
really
really
diligently
to
provide
services
and
supports,
and
we
are
putting
structures
in
place
to
eliminate
some
silos.
That
might
exist
that
that
keeps
us
from
being
the
very
best
that
we
can
be
as
we
provide
those
services
and
supports.
F
A
Another
piece
of
restructuring
that
that
I
think
is
important
for.
A
About
is
the
restructuring
and
how
we
are
approaching
our
principal
needs.
So
we
are
meeting
with
our
principals
and
our
associate
principals
once
a
month
always
trying
to
be
really
thoughtful
when
we
ask
people
to
leave
their
schools
to
make
sure
that
we
provide
a
very
meaningful
agenda
and
conversations
and
activities
with
them
and
for
them
during
that
time
that
we're
asking
them
to
be
out
of
their
schools.
A
So
the
key
part
that
we
really
want
to
make
sure
to
share
with
you
about
that
restructuring
is
that
you
have
the
realization
that
we
needed
to
be
very
intentional
about
offering
opportunities
for
vertical
conversations,
and
what
that
means
to
us
is
so
that
Pre-K
312
have
the
opportunity
to
engage
in
conversations
and
activities
during
those
meetings,
as
opposed
to
solely
being
engaged
in
conversations
with
other
leaders
at
their
safe
level.
A
So
we
know
that
the
feeder
systems
aren't
clear
all
the
way
through
the
district,
but
we
also
know
that
any
time
that
we
can
offer
those
opportunities
for
those
political
conversations
to
happen,
we
will
all
be
better
off
for
it
and
what
that
means
is
that
our
students
will
be
better
off.
Ultimately,
so
that's
something
that
we
are
that's
a
little
bit
of
a
change
and
our
first
meeting
is
Thursday
of
this
week.
Another
piece
of
that
that
I
think
is
important.
A
We
believe
that
it's
our
responsibility
to
help
prepare
them,
for
whatever
is
next
in
their
career
and
by
being
a
part
of
those
conversations,
we
think
we're
really
helping
to
support
their
growth
and
their
development
as
well,
while
all
the
while
putting
supports
and
structures
in
place
at
the
building
level,
while
those
leaders
are
out
so
that
we
are
very
thoughtful
and
intentional
ahead
of
time
about
who's
responding
and
to
what,
while
we're
engaged
in
those
in
those
and
two
more
two
more
thoughts
before
I'll
turn
it
over
to
my
colleagues,
teaching
and
learning
and
departments
across.
A
Are
very
focused
on
being
in
schools,
and
we
believe
that
by
being
in
schools,
we
will
learn
what's
happening
there
and
what
we
can
do
to
be
even
better
in
our
service
to
those
leaders
and,
more
importantly,
the
teachers
and
their
work
with
students,
and
so
we
have
spent
a
great
deal
of
time
with
our
superintendent.
As
our
inspiration
we've
heard,
the
number
of
schools
he's
visited
already
in
the
two
weeks
of
school,
we
are
are
also
very
focused
in
on
that
and
have
learned
a.
E
A
Deal
already
in
our
time
we're
trying
to
school
last,
but
certainly
not
least.
We
also
know
that,
as
we
return
to
the
pre-coveted
routines,
there's
a
lot
of
work
to
do,
and
we
know
that
attendance
and
student
achievement
has
been
on
privately
a
steady
decline
and
we
have
a
lot
of
work
to
do
related
to
that.
And
so
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
you
all
know
that
we.
A
And
we
are
focused
in
on
that
with
that
I
am
going
to
turn
the
mic
over
to
Nicole.
Will
executive
director
at
the
elementary
school.
G
Thank
you.
As
Dr
Cody
mentioned,
it
has
been
really
wonderful
to
see
so
many
different,
simple,
opposite
Administration
schools
that
move
through
a
lot
of
positive
feedback.
G
We
have
a
lot
of
things
to
celebrate,
as
this
year
begins.
One.
B
G
The
things
that
was
already
mentioned,
but
I
think
it's
just
really
important
to
mention-
is
that
things
feel
it
just
feels
like
it
wants
to
promote
here
and
what
I
keep
hearing
and
talking
to
women
with
universities.
It
just
feels
like
school
and
I.
Think
it's
it's
something
that
people
will
never
take
for
granted
and
very,
very
much
appreciate
you
also
walking
through
schools.
You
just
see
joyful,
learning
everywhere,
there's
Smiles
on
kids
faces
High
engagement,
it's
just
a
really
really
nice
climate
and
culture.
G
Curriculums
that
we're
implementing
this
year
for
our
social
emotional
learning
is
called
kindness
in
the
classroom
in
the
elementary
level.
This
first
month,
there's
a
school-wide
emphasis
at
all.
Schools
on
the
first
focuses
on
respect,
and
it's
been
really
nice
to
see
that
playing
out
in
different
classrooms,
so
whether.
E
E
G
E
E
G
G
This
morning
and
the
kids
have
maybe
been
about
an
hour,
and
they
were
just
completely
self-directed,
interacting
with
each
other,
interacting
with
the
materials
in
front
of
them,
and
it
was
just
an
absolute
joy
to
see
and
a
result
of
those
pre-ks
that
were
really
great
for
and
I'm
happy
about
it.
We're
seeing
a
huge
impact
in
those
schools
that
have
the
pre-ks
in
their
kindergarten
classrooms.
Kids
are
coming
just
so
much
more
ready.
F
G
Happened
over
the
summer
first
off,
if
you've
ever
been
in
an
elementary
school,
which
I'm
sure
you
have
on
the
first
day
of
school.
It's
pretty
common
to
see
a
lot
of
crying
and
kids
will
hesitant
to
leave
their
parents.
That.
F
G
The
other
thing
I
want
to
say
is
that
we
have
had
a
lot
of
feedback
from
parents.
Just
a
Joyful
Way
are
that
they
have
been
able
to
come
into
the
Philippines,
whether
it
says
Supply,
drop-offs
or
back
to
school
nights
and
just
being
able
to
enter
into
those
buildings
into
the
classrooms
has
been
a
really
nice
change
that
didn't
necessarily
get
into
happening
because
of
restrictions.
G
We
still
are
faced
with
behavior
and
mental
health
challenges
in
our
schools,
and
we
well
we're
seeing
things
are
feeling
different
and
better
than
last
year.
It's
still
something
that
we
are
particularly
paying
attention
to
and
need
to
keep
work
into.
We.
G
That
we're
really
hoping
in
on
big
curriculum
implementation.
We
have
a
lot
of
new
curriculum,
that's
coming
to
a
district
this
year,
and
so
we're
working
really
hard
to
make
sure
that
teachers
are
capable
and
confident
in
navigating
that
curriculum
and
the
other
piece
is,
there's
been
a
huge
investment
in
the
last
few
years
to
support
some
of
our
mental
health
issues
with
Student
Success,
coaches,
counselors,
academic
coaches
and
social
workers,
and
in
the
last
couple
of
years
they
haven't
always
been
able
to
fully
do
what
we
want
them
to
do.
G
Different
reasons,
whether
it's
you
know
a
substitutional
age
or
kids
that
are
really
impacted.
We're
seeing
a.
E
E
G
G
D
Everything
Nicole
said
at
the
elementary
level,
really
Bears
the
work
we're
doing
at
the
middle
school
level,
and
one
of
our
our
chief
focuses
this
year
is
really
on
the
student
experience
and
making
sure
that
we
have
clear
expectations,
behaviorally
and
academically,
and
then
we
have
systems
in
place
to
actively
teach
those
expectations
to
reinforce
and
to
address
any
problems.
We
have
along
the
way
and
I
want
to
walk
you
through
some
of
the
work.
That's
happened
over
the
last
few
months
to
make
sure
that
we
are
able
to
do
that
and
some
evidence.
D
We
had
survey
data
from
our
families
from
our
students
from
our
teachers
from
classified
staff
that
guided
Us
in
identifying
those
areas
of
focus
around
academic
and
behavioral
expectations.
It
was
a
consistent
theme
of
the
Middle
School
level
that
we
have
work
to
do
there
and
it's
work
that
we
could
see
evidence
in
our
behavioral
data
that
we
needed
to
start
with
those
expectations
and
so
over
the
course
of
the
summer.
D
D
When
you
got
to
sixth
grade
about
locker-
and
you
were
taught
how
to
do
the
combination,
it
was
a
Rite
of
Passage
with
coding
in
order
to
keep
kids
safe.
We
moved
away
from
lockers
that
proximity
sharing
space
was
a
concern
and
we
had
some
schools
where
we
had
returned
to
lockers
over
the
course
of
the
last
year
and
others
that
hadn't
so
coming
back
into
that
conversation
about
lockers
may
seem
really
simple,
but
principles
were
intentional
in
understanding.
Why
is
it
that
we
have
those
lockers?
D
What
does
that
do
to
create
a
Readiness
for
learning?
How
can
we
actively
teach
how
it
is
we
go
to
Walkers?
How
do
we
act
when
we
are
at
our
life?
How
do
we
show
respect
for
other
people
as
we're
arriving
and
really
unpacking
the
entire
student
experience?
It
isn't
that
we
weren't
going
to
rely
on
what
kids
already
knew,
but
we
were
going
to
assume
that
kids
that
didn't
know
what
we
expected
would
be
welcomed
in
and
taught
how
to
be
part
of
a
healthy
culture.
D
We
also
are
unpacking
character,
strong,
which
is
our
Behavioral
Health
and
Wellness
curriculum
at
the
secondary
level,
and
it
really
emphasizes
the
importance
of
relationships
and
in
actively
teaching
students
about
their
agency
and
controlling
their
emotions
and
their
Readiness
for
learning,
and
in
order
for
that
to
be
successful,
the
Middle.
D
D
We
believe
that
we've
done
the
right
work
and-
and
that
is
an
important
piece-
the
whole
experience
of
coming
in
to
community
and
understanding
who
you
are
as
a
learner
and
how
to
be
successful.
D
We
are
also
doing
things
that,
as
we
move
forward,
that
the
time
of
the
week
is
very
intentional
advisory
is
how
we
start
on
Monday.
It's
where
we
teach
our
expectations
school
to
school.
On
Tuesday,
you
revisit
those
and
check
in
to
see
how
things
went
and
then
with
that
we're
ready
for
the
rest
of
our
week.
D
So
as
we
are
building
these
systems,
what
I'm,
seeing
in
Middle
Schools
is
really
really
encouraging.
I've
seen
students
moving
with
purpose
to
their
classrooms,
I'm,
seeing
that
we
have
very
few
students
out
of
class.
That
is
a
very
big
commitment
to
us
that
kids
need
to
be
learning
in
the
classroom.
That's
happening,
I'm,
seeing
lunch
and
recess
the
situation.
It's
wonderful
and
it's
been
it's
been
quite
good,
so
we
are
building
the
system
to
the
Middle
School
level.
We're
continuing
our
emphasis
on
that.
We're.
A
A
Really
fun
to
see
something,
looks
normal
and
feels
normal
and
feels
good
and
getting
to
start
off
our
year
with
having
lunch
with
our
friends
which
doesn't
sound
important.
But
it's
pretty
important.
Being
able
to
have
old
school
assemblies
being
able
to
have
Friday
night
games
with
full
student
sections
and
marching
band
performances
and
cheer
and
dance
and
all
the
things
that
go
along
with
that.
And.
A
Started
where
schooling
can
be
some
taste
with
that
for
the
school
year
in
Japan,
and
it's
just
really
resulted
in
all
of
those
sort
of
I
call
them
freedoms,
even
though
we
kind
of
took
them
for
granted
for
a
long
time.
Those
freedoms
have
really
changed
the
attitude
and
album
of
our
students
and
our
staff
and
people's
report,
and
every
day
to
me,
they
feel
better
when
I'm
walking
around
schools
and
asking
them.
How
do
you
feel
about
things?
A
I
feel
better
I
haven't
felt
this
way
in
a
couple
of
years,
and
if
it's
been
almost
30
years
between
students
and
staff
that
I'm
visiting
with
just
a
real
optimistic
view
of
where
we
are
and
where
we're
going.
E
A
Of
our
schools
has
really
been
similar
to
what
you've
heard
from
the
Elementary
Middle
School
level,
and
that
is
a
real
return
to
to
establishing
and
reviewing
and
coming
to
a
common
understanding
of
what
our
expectations
are
around
both
behavior
in
terms
of
how
you
act
around
school,
but
really
back
to
academic
behaviors.
And
what
does
that
look
like?
And
while
we
resume,
we
will.
A
Not
real
focused
on
our
learning
now,
how
do
we
return
to
a
classroom,
unmasked
and
collaborate
with
their
peers,
and
that's
been?
The
real
focus
is
how
to
re-teach
and
reaffirm
vote
and
reset
those
expectations,
not
only
around
behavior
and
halls
and
those
kind
of
things,
but.
A
Introducing
our
social,
emotional
learning
through
the
character
strong
enhancements
that
can
also
discuss-
and
this
has
been
a
focus
in
our
advisory
program
throughout
the
district
and
again
trying
to
get
students
both
the
tools
to
deal
with
some
of
those
emotions
and
obstacles
and
challenges,
but
also
helping
them
understand
why
they
think
the
way
they
do
to
be
able
to
form
those
are
being
better
and
use.
Those
things.
B
A
E
B
A
E
B
Thank
you.
We
appreciate
that
great
yeah.
A
A
We'll
start
with
you
guys,
thank
you
for
those
reports
and
welcome
to
the
neighborhood
and
School
District
glad
to
have
you
here.
My
question
is
to
both
secondary.
E
D
A
G
D
There
isn't
a
uniform
instructions.
A
Just
one
more
question-
and
maybe
things
are
too
new,
but
at
some
point
because
it
seem
like
we
got
to
it
last
spring
we
initiated
a
new
policy
with
dropping
the
app
and
changing
it
to
the
money
again,
and
we
never
kind
of
saw
coming
on
in
the
students
ended
up
with
and
with
that
course
recovery
was
like.
You
know.
You
mentioned
it
of
course
recovering
how
important
that
is
to
keep
students
on
track
to
graduate.
A
A
That's
you
know
brought
me
joy,
so
thank
you
for
that.
So
one
question
is
for
Ken
and
it's
about
you
know
being
on
track
to
graduate
on
time,
and
my
concern
is
for
those
kids
that
maybe
you're
a
little
later
in
their
career
and.
A
Just
that's
one
comment
and
also
recognize
that
you
know
there's
different
ways
that
students
learn
and
that
may
be
the
school
environment
might
be
intimidating.
Especially
if
you
deal
with
your
family.
A
Is
a
young
wide
variety
of
tools
that
we
can
use
with
students
and
our
approach
to
students
who
are
credit
efficient?
Is
that
varied
and
there
are
students
who
are
taking
advantage
in
general
books,
online
library
programs?
There
are
students
that
are
doing
those
same
curriculums
through
their
credit
recovery
program
in
their
own
School
of
the
staff
member
president.
Some
are
doing
it
completely
on
their
own
other
than
working
with
teachers,
coaches
and
counselors
individually,
to
remember
just
specific
targets
that
they
were
missing
and
so
I
think
our
multi-tiered
varied
approach.
A
Part
of
that
is
so
key,
and
so
many
probably
the
kids
that
are
struggling,
have
mental
health
issues
since
I
just
want
to
Target
that.
But
the
other
question
I
have
is
like
with
flux.
It
may
not
be
the
right
curriculum
for
our
students.
Are
we
looking
at
other
types
of
online
curriculum
that
might
fit
our
school
district
better?
You
know,
or
is
that,
like.
B
A
G
A
The
rules
there
is
to
look
at
different
Pathways
and
different
models
for
kids
to
your
point.
I
think
that's
part
of
the
strategic
planning
process
as
well
in
terms
of
every
kid
he's
a
different
path
with
us
to
get
to
the
end
and
they
need
to
find
their
own
end
and
to
get
there,
some
kids,
pretty
straight
some
kids,
not
so
straight
so
I
think
part
of
the
work
ahead
is
Define
all
the
different
Pathways
for
our
students
and
to
actually
have
multiple
Pathways
again.
B
Well,
Lauren
had
a
question
too
so.
C
Yes,
hi
first
I
want
to
thank
all
of
our
staff
classified
certified
admin
for
the
amazing
work
that
they've
done
over
the
last
couple
weeks
and
welcoming
all
our
students
and
family
into
the
schools
and
then
for
middle
school
I'm
wondering
if
I'm
not
necessarily
now
probably
but
I'd
love
to
continue
to
hear
about
the
structures
that
you're
putting
into
place
to
support
our
students.
C
So
it's
great
to
hear
about
advisory
and
how
that's
been
worked
into
the
the
pro
the
supports,
but
please
come
back
with
some
more
information
and
continue
to
keep
us
updated
on
that.
Thank
you.
B
A
You
next
up,
we
have
charter
school
reports
with
Dr,
John,
Bridges
and
I.
Think
the
first
one
is
article
Aries
and
Chris
from
the
ACT
principal
will
be
joined.
A
D
A
D
A
Good
evening
superintendent
on
Harris
yeah,
it
was
mentioned
that
I
am
the
interim
executive
director.
That's
I,
think
I've
been
in
two
months
now
so
I'm
I'm
learning
the
ways
of
directorship
I
was
I,
came
to
Arco
radius
last
year
as
an
assistant
director
prior
to
that
I
was
a
dual
language
teacher
in
the
Hillsborough
school
district,
and
so
I
have
have
a
great
team
supporting
me
and
I'm
learning
the
time
to
my
right.
It's
Krista
Billings.
She
is
our
our
chair,
chair
of
the
board.
A
She
is
nothing
less
amazing.
That's
the
only
word.
I
can
figure
out
to
describe
her.
She
knows
our
our
organization
through
every
fiber
of
what
it
is
she's
she's
built
it
and
she's
built
the
sustainability
of
our
organization.
So
we're
very
thankful
for
her.
You
may
have
recalled
or
recall
that
last
year
we
had
actually
asked
for
a
waiver
for
our
Spanish
to
English
ratios.
That
was
largely
actually
solely
due
to
Staffing
shortages.
We.
B
A
A
Spanish
Immersion
charter
school
and
we
could
not
locate
qualified
bilingual
teachers,
and
so
that
was
a
major
major
challenge
for
us,
so
but
you'll
see
and
and
I'll
be
commenting
on
on
my
report-
we're
in
a
lot
better
place
now
last
last
year,
so
the
board
has
worked
tirelessly
with
our
stakeholders
and
and
have
established
a
great
strategic
plan.
Looking
for
our
pillars,.
A
Are
active
academic
achievement,
teacher,
retaining
teacher
training
and
retention,
Community
engagement
and
positive
School
culture
and
basically,
how
we're
going
to
compare
bills?
Okay,
Financial
sustainability,
I
mentioned
that
we
did
have
our
Extreme
Staffing
shortages
last
year.
We
kind
of
made
it
work,
but
then
our
small
article
family
of
less
than
40..
We,
we
had
a
very
difficult
time
securing
substitutes,
and
so
we
had
our
staff
that
were
at
times
teaching
their
PE.
They
were
covering
for
each
other
during
their
prep.
Sometimes,
let's
see
their
lunch.
A
We
had
to
eliminate
one
unit
of
our
kindergarten
class,
so
we
only
had
two
for
three
and
it
was
a
rough
year
so,
but
we
also
were
able
to
create
some
creative
class
configurations
and
use
our
teachers
the
best
we
possibly
could
and
we
made
it
work
and
it.
A
One
of
our
one
of
our
greatest
things
that
I
think
that
we
have
is:
we
have
international
teachers.
Actually,
we
employ
International
Exchange
teachers
on
J-1
Visa
status.
A
What
that
means
is
that
our
teachers,
these
teachers,
come
to
us
from
different
parts
of
the
world
and
they
bring
incredible
value
to
our
organization,
they're,
usually
with
our
organization
between
one
and
five
years,
and
what
they
bring
is
not
only
language
because
we
are
Spanish
emerging
charter
school
but
authentic
culture,
and
that's
why
our
that's?
Why
our
families
love
us
and
that's?
A
Why
they
send
their
kids
to
us
is
because
of
that
at
any
given
time
you
can
walk
in
our
hallways
and
you
can
hear
you
can
hear
dialects
from
all
over
the
world.
Espana
foreign.
A
We're
learning
all
the
ins
and
outs
of
the
federal
state
processes
that
go
along
with
and
employing
these,
these
rock
star
teachers.
We
lost
two
of
them
and
this
year,
we've
actually
hired
back
six
and.
E
A
Our
enrollment
tends
to
drop
by
grade
level
and
we've
seen
that
consistent
data
year
after
year
after
year,
K
through
three
typically
stays
fairly
stable.
Once
we
get
to
fourth
and
fifth
grade,
we
see
those
enrollment
drops
where
we
start
to
finish
and.
E
A
Sixth
and
eighth
grade
was
really
rough,
large
dually
large,
largely
to
the
fact
of
there's
so
many
great
option:
schools
in
the
area
that
these
kiddos
are
taking
advantage
of.
So
we
started
looking
at
some
different
plans
and
how
we
move
forward
with
that.
We
are
a
lottery
spoke
and
there's
a
lot
of
interest
in
our
program.
We
also
saw
that
our
wait
list
were
significantly
lower.
A
We're
used
to
wait
list
of
100
plus
for
grade
levels
and
now
we're
seeing
some
of
our
griddles
that
don't
have
any
waitlist
we're
seeing
some
of
our
grade
levels
that
are
not
and
not
too
capacity
of
our
full
enrollment
based
on
our
Charter
and
our
building
capacity
is
right.
Around
467.
we're
lower
we're
a
little
bit
lower
than
400,
which
is
not
bad,
but
we
need
enrollment
to
improve,
as
I
mentioned
before,
the
enrollment
showed
a
significant
downward
spiral
or
Trend.
A
If
you
will,
as
soon
as
students
entered
fourth
fifth,
sixth,
seventh
and
eighth
grade.
Ultimately
the
board
decided
to
make
the
difficult
decision
to
phase
out
our
Middle
School.
This
was
this
took
a
hit
big
hit
on
our
community
because
we
are
very
close-knit
community
and
our
families
had
depended
on
those
eight.
You
know
those
nine
solid
years
of
experience.
A
A
A
A
We
are
an
immersion
program,
so
Spanish,
obviously
Spanish
language
is
our
Jam.
That's
what
we
do
we
utilize
the
stamp
test
stamp
test
is
the
Spanish
language
proficiency
exam
the
test,
the
four
domains
of
language
which
are
Reading
Writing
speaking
and
listening.
A
A
A
A
A
Well,
first
of
all,
thank
you
very
much
Christa,
it's
nice
to
see
you
and
nice
to
see
you
as
well.
So
my
question
is
about
the
decline
in
enrollment.
Are
you
seeing
that
that
dual
language
schools
that
we
have
in
our
district
is
that
taking
my
students.
A
I
see
the
way
that
things
happen
and
I
see
that
as
as
children,
they
start
to
develop
their
language
skills.
They
don't
necessarily
time
out.
They
start
looking
through
those
other
interests,
and
so
what
we
saw
was
that
163
once
they
came
upon
sixth
grade,
they
started
looking
at
well,
there's
some
really
cool
stuff
out
there.
A
The
options-
and
we
saw
a
lot
of
that-
we
also
saw
a
lot
of
families
that
were
just
relocating.
One
of
the
other
struggles
that
we
have
is
that
we
we.
E
A
H
A
B
A
An
excellent
question
in
the
bilingual
programs:
we
have
a
ton
of
interesting
today
per
second
third,
usually
like
four
or
five.
We
see
a
decline
in
enrollment
I,
don't
know
if
it's
because
of
interest
in
the
program
or
other
factors.
So
if
we
look
at
the
history
of
transit
or
enrollment
year
after
year
after
year,
we
start
and
it
will
do
and.
A
E
A
We
also
know
that
this
last
year
was
a
little
bit
of
a
wonky
here,
because
we
we
had
several
families
that
had
siblings
and
knowing
that
their
older,
siblings
were
going
to
be
would
not
be
able
to
complete
the
full
barcode
experience.
Those
families
had
to
make
the
decision
where
they
were
going
to
go
and
look
at
the
future
and
what
was
best
for
the
family.
So
we
did
lose
some
numbers
from
that,
simply
because
of
the
Fallout
of
the
phase
out
that.
F
Thank
you
for
this
in-depth
information
about
the
school.
My
question
is
that
you
said
that
it's
going
to.
G
A
Year,
it's
a
two-year
phase
out,
which
means
that
this
year
we
have
no
sixth
grade.
Okay
go
to
fifth
grade,
then
we
have.
Our
sixth
grade
is
equine.
You
know
I'm
in
sixth
graders
Seventh
Day
next
year
we
will
not
have
a
sixth
grade
or
a
seventh
grade.
We
only
have
our
remaining
8th
graders.
They
will
graduate
through
and
then
by
two
years
in
two
years
from
now,
24
25.
F
A
Well,
what
I
have
to
compare
it
to?
Is
it's
a
title
school
for
my
experience,
so
the
answer
is
yes.
A
A
It
was
very
strong
Kobe,
and
so
we
saw
some
some
odd
numbers.
We
saw
some
things
that
we
really
couldn't
explain.
So
we
did
see
that
our
climate
culture
suffered
quite
a
bit
from
that.
So
I,
don't
really
know
a
straight
answer
for
that,
because
there's
so.
A
I
I,
don't
know
how
to
answer
that.
One
I
would
I
would
say
that
what
we've
done
is
we've.
We've
worked
with
toshiko
mauritio
and
she's.
Looked
at
the
Dual
language
models
that
exist
in
Beaverton,
School,
District
now
and
again,
I
have
mentioned
Whitford
and
Meadow
Park.
My
boy
went
to
Woodmeadow
Park,
so
I
know
the
program
the
program
there
and
they.
E
A
The
the
Dual
language
program
is
different
than
an
immersion
program,
but
what
they
do
is
they
when
they're
coming
into
that
dual
language
program,
they
have
those
basic
fundamental
language
skills
to
push
that
forward.
A
We
know
that
in
bilingual
education
it
takes
a
while
for
these
little
ones
to
really
start
to
Sparkle
to
to
shine
right
and
it
just
as
as
as
Educators.
We
need
to
kind
of
weather
that
storm
that
it
usually
takes
sometimes
until
6th
or
seventh
grade.
When
you
really
start
to
see
the
fruits
of
your
labor,
so
we're
hoping
we're
hoping
that
you
will
see
the
fruits
of
our
ears.
Let's
say
You're,
going
to.
C
Yeah
so
hi
everybody
thanks
for
the
report.
I'm
glad
I
was
glad
to
see
that
toshiko
and
our
dual
language
programs
within
the
Beaverton
School
District
could
support
the
students
that,
as
they
were,
phasing
out
and
taking
them
in
to
continue
like
you
said,
it's
really
important
for
students
to
start
Kinder
and
go
through
sixth
or
seventh
grade,
as
the
research
shows
for
them
to
actually
develop
fully
I
was
noticing
the
the
low
enrollment,
as
you
mentioned,
and
was
seeing
some
of
the
financial
pieces.
C
The
finance
part
was
part
of
your
one
of
your
pillars
of
your
strategic
plan
as
a
it
mentioned
in
your
report,
their
Reliance
on
the
Esser
funds
to
pay
for
some
of
the
teachers
as
the
enrollment
went
down
and
knowing
that
the
SR
funds
will
be
going
away
this
and
seeing
that
it
looked
like
there
was
a
negative
balance
so
that
it
was
just
something
I
was
wondering
about
and
and
would
be
interested
to
know
a
little
bit
more
about
how
this
strategic
plan
will
be
supporting
that
I.
Guess.
B
I'll
do
my
best
to
try.
Hey,
can
I
correct
me
if
I'm
wrong,
but
I
think
the
the
concern
was.
You
have
a
negative
balance
right
for
your
fiscal
year.
She
mentioned
that
you
had
that
as
a
part
of
your
strategic
plan
going
forward
and
so
we're
trying
to
understand.
You
know
we
don't
think
there
were
Esser.
A
Funds
that
he
received
last
year,
right
that
are
kind
of
really
there's
still
a
negative.
B
Balance,
an
explanation
of
that
is,
did
I
encapsulate
your
question.
I
know
there
was
a
little
more
to
it
than
that,
but
yeah.
A
A
B
Just
as
a
follow-up
on
that
so
I
mean
I
see
a
negative
like
456
000
on
a
June
22.,
that's
looking
forward
and
that's
the
way
you're
talking
about
corrected,
because
what
I
see
here
is.
We
have
with
two
numbers
right
under
June.
B
Yeah
that
wouldn't
be
a
working
budget
right.
That
would
be
it
last
year,
if
I'm
understanding
correctly
and
if
I'm
reading
this
wrong.
Please
correct
me.
B
C
One
of
the
pieces
that
you
talked
about
was
around
you
know
the
importance
again
of
strong
programs
that
have
provide
x
amount
of
amount
of
Spanish
and
x
amount
of
English
and
I
know.
We
have
a
waiver
for
you
on
that.
As
with
the
difficulties
of
the
hiring
that
you
mentioned
for
this
year,
I
also
noticed
that
math
was
taught
in
Spanish
K5,
but
all
the
materials
were
in
English.
C
So
that
was
a
little
bit
of
a
concern
as
I
thought
about
you're.
Reducing
the
amount
of
Spanish
instruction
and
using
English
materials
to
teach
Spanish.
So
I
just
was
wondering
about
how
that
might
affect
your
outcomes
of
your
students
in
as
a
growth.
A
E
A
So
yeah
I'll
address
that
the
the
Spanish,
the
language
waiver
we
requested
last
year
simply
because
of
finally
we're
unable
to
find
bilingual
features,
and
so
what
we
did
is
we
started
looking
at
different
ways
that
we
could
we
could
integrate
the
language
supports
into
into
our
program.
Our
our
students
typically
come
through
us
with
little
to
no
Spanish,
so
they
are
not
strong
if
they
do
not
speak
Spanish
when
they
come
in
with
us.
A
Our
teachers
also
accent
that
great
room
with
their
own,
their
their
own
activities
as
well.
C
One
last
question
is:
was
this
was
arques
and
that
this
might
be
a
guest
question
or
toshiko
question?
Was
this
part
of
the
feasibility
study
that
was
done
that
looked
at
all
the
Dual
language
programs.
B
B
Up
next,
we'll
have
hope
Chinese
with.
A
Just
kidding,
thank
you
for
having
me
another
year.
This
is
my
second
year
at
oh,
like
I,
said
after
I,
retire
from
working
overseas
to
to
relax.
It's
been
the
toughest
job
I've
had
in
35
years,
so
I'm
loving
it.
A
But
as
you
as
you
heard
in
the
last
presentation,
there
are
some
challenges:
charter
school,
but
we
have.
We
have
seen
some
amazing
things
over
the
last
year
that
since.
E
A
To
you,
but
I
do
want
to
thank
you
publicly
thank
John
publicly
for
your
support.
We
have
a
lot
of
support
from
your
special
life
Department.
We
have
a
lot
of
support
from
John
when
we
need
it,
people
who
don't
need
it
and
supports
us
so,
but
we
do
appreciate
it
and
I
think
we.
E
A
A
A
In
every
area,
so
I
was
very
impressed
with
that.
The
one
thing
we
didn't
see-
and
we
continue
to
see-
is
some
social,
emotional
stuff
part
of
being
in
the
school,
from
kindergarten
to
eighth
grade,
as
you
become
like
a
family,
and
some
of
those
families
are
dysfunctional.
So
some
of
these
kids
that
have
been
together
forever
over
the
three
years
of
code,
but
then
they
come
back
together
and
and
some
of
them
you
know.
A
I,
don't
have
a
tremendous
discipline,
discipline
problem,
but
we
do
have
some
some
things.
We
do
what
we
call
wisdom,
Seekers,
which
teaches
kids
and
character
traits
on
a
monthly
basis
that
helps
with
we're
working
on
that
this
year.
A
A
Kids
on
our
waiting
list,
we
just
don't
have
room,
and
so
it's
nice
being
in
a
building.
It's
not
an
Elks
Club,
but
we
are
an
old
Elks
club
with.
A
A
A
E
D
A
H
H
A
To
an
option
school
or
another
location,
so
we're
trying
to
do
things
within
the
building
to
to
keep
keep
kids.
But
we're
going
to
be
probably
within
the
next
couple
years
right
around
400.
A
Our
biggest
challenge
right
now
is
getting
our
Portables
up
that
we
bought
from
Beaverton
School
District
two
years
ago.
We
bought
it
for
a
thousand
dollars
and
now
we're
pushing
three
hundred
thousand.
D
A
And
so
I'm
I'm,
hoping
within
the
next
month,
we'll
see
that
portable
pulling
down
the
street
and
so
that
you've
got
to
be
in
great
shape
for
us
put
no
more
money
into
it.
A
So
that's
I
think
that's
my
my
whole
report.
Everything
else
is
in
here.
I
do
want
to
say
our
kids
are
amazing,
with
the
foreign
language
only
about
five
percent
of
our
kids
come
to
us
that
are
Heritage
speakers.
A
Dialogue,
we
need
to
know
because
they
have
nowhere
to
go.
Let
me
leave
us
so
there's
no
Chinese
program
that
can
meet
your
needs,
and
so
that's
something
that
I
think
you
know.
If
we
continue
to
keep
on
doing
school
and
keep
it
robust,
they
really
it's
we've
got
to
find
a
place
for
them.
Some
of
our.
E
A
A
A
B
E
F
This
evening
in
your
packet,
you
have
all
your
regular
reports
that
you
already
16
on
your
situation
sheet
notes.
There.
F
F
The
second
thing
is
that
we
have
significant
Investments,
which
is
due
to
the
first
of
our
accountable
instructions
on
sales
from
the
May
22
audit
measure,
and
the
last
thing
is
on
your
classroom,
teachers,
Staffing
report.
You
can
see
kind
of
an
odd
enrollment
date.
It
is
as
of
September
9th,
and
that
was
the
most
recent
that
we
could
get
it
together
and
get
it
impacted.
F
This
will
be
updated
to
the
more
typical
September
30th
day
for
you
for
your
October
Maybe,
we'll
use
that
for
the
duration
of
the
school
year
and
since
I've
been
mentioned
a
couple
of
times
tonight
for
our.
B
F
A
Okay,
I
just
wanted
you
to
feel
at
home.
Ask
you
some
questions.
Oh
awesome
on
the
enrollment
I
know
we
did
our
best
and
and
I
was
going
through
all
the
numbers
and
it
was
down
Elementary
really
a
big
thing
with
Plex
it
looks
like
they
went
back
to
their
home
schools.
A
A
lot
of
them
were
always
down
so
much
High,
School,
actually
thought
and
and
Middle
School,
almost
even
I'm,
just
wondering
our
final
numbers
are
not
due
to
the
state,
though,
until
mid
October
is
that
correct
or
end
of
October
I
mean
October.
F
I
believe
it's
summer
and
there-
and
this
is,
we
spent
some
time
with
our
geographer
going
over
what
we
were
seeing
from
the
2122
year,
trying
to
get
an
idea
before
we
put
this
financial
life
for.
A
You,
because
you
know
I
just
know:
I
was
in
a
couple
schools
last
week
and
even
while
I
was
there,
you
saw
kids
coming
in
to
be
enrolled
and
again
I
know
it
wasn't.
You
know
it
wasn't
hundreds
so
I,
don't
think
this
is
going
to
rock
too
much
but
I
just
I.
Just
when
we
were
already
making
adjustments
to
the
budget.
I
just
know
about
earned
our
bio
members
do
in
October
to
the
state.
Are.
A
F
22
20,
it
will
be
in
October.
We
use
the
September
30th
date.
B
Ourselves,
just
as
a
quick
question
Jessica,
if
I,
when,
when
we're
using
enrollment,
to
determine
the
amount
of
money
received
from
the
state
school
fund,
it's
the
greater
of
the
past
two
years
right
correct.
So
the
two
million
dollars
basically
just
means
that
we're
going
to
have
lower
numbers.
F
Now
correct,
even
we
are
watching
every
week,
but
when
we
work
with
our
demographer,
we
are
looking
at.
We
are
going
to
be
lower
than
we
were
in
21
22,
even
with
the
adjustments
so.
B
Next
up
we
have
the
local
option:
love
the
update
with
Kerry
Delph
and
Shelley
Bailey
Shaw.
A
A
That
our
language
is
as
Kerry
mentioned,
education
and
so
there's,
if
we
look
what's
been
done,
second
slide.
A
A
The
videos
are
shorter,
just
because
there's
lots
of
information
as
compared
to
the
bond
and
then,
as
we
continue
to
scroll
down,
we
have
a
section
where
we
address
what
we
believe
will
be
some
primary
questions
that
voters
have
and
then,
as
we
continue
to
go
down,
we're
going
to
get
to
a
map
and
I'm
pointing
out
the
map,
because
this
is
this
is
the
basis
of
what
these
School
posters
are
going
to
be
as
well.
A
So
this
just
gives
a
visual,
so
folks
can
see
how
many
teachers
are
currently
supported
by
the
local
options
of
living,
and
so
this
was
made
into
Maps
or
excuse
me,
posters
that
will
be
posted
at
all
our
school
tomorrow
and
on
Wednesday
and
in
both
Spanish
and
English.
A
So
that's
you
can
you're
more
happy
to
go
on
to
the
district
website.
You
can
just
type
in
the
word.
Love
you
right
up,
but
that's
the
website
and
if
you
go
back
to
the
slides,
as
I
mentioned,
the
videos
are
ready,
feel
free
to
use
these
in
any
presentations
that
you
might
be
giving
over
the
next
two
months.
Posters
are
growing
up
and
then
currently
under
development
are
Flyers.
A
Both
English
and
Spanish
they'll
be
going
out
in
our
elementary
schools
and
then
a
mailer
that
will
be
going
out
to
voters,
districts,
wide
and
social
media
campaign
starts
or
the
social
media
educational
campaign
starts
in
October
School
level.
A
A
Talking
with
parents
at
back
to
school
nights,
principal
coffees,
they're
putting
blurbs
in
their
newsletter
and
they're
also
going
to
be
addressing
parents
at
their
PTO
PCC
meetings,
so
they
recently
got
some
information
to
help
that
if
we
go
to
the
next
slide,
this
has
to
do
with
the
community
outreach,
as
we
mentioned
before,
the
superintendent
is
slated
to
have
a
listening
session
on
October
25th,
where
he'll
be
addressing
the
levy
and
then
we'll
do
our
media
outreach
in
October.
A
This
next
Point
has
to
do
with
you
all.
As
you
remember,
last
year,
you
attended
many
PTO
and
PTC
meetings.
I
believe
you've
all
been
given
a
link
to
a
spreadsheet
that
lists
the
meetings
for
this
year.
We're
still
working
on
confirming
some
dates,
but
Susan
I'll
teach
you
that
don't
worry,
and
then
what
I
would
do
is
look
at
that
list.
Look
at
the
schools
that
you
represent
if
you're
able
to
attend
those
meetings.
Please
just
indicate
that
to
us
the
principal
will
sort
of
Take
the
Lead.
A
It
may
even
show
that
video
that
I
included
and
then
you're
welcome
to
make
comments
at
the
meeting,
there's
also
on
their
community
presentations
again
similar
to
what
you
did
for
the
bond.
So
when
you
have
an
opportunity,
if
you
could
look
at
those
dates
and
whichever
ones
you're
able
to
attend
if
you've
been
Please
assign
yourself
and
then
as
we
get
more
information
as
to
locations
or
Zoom
links
or
that
sort
of
thing
we'll
be
populating.
The
spreadsheet
and
that's
all
I
have
happy
to
take
questions.
A
And
get
kicked
right
in
from
four
years
ago,
so
I
didn't
eat
too
many
notes,
but
I
will
say
there
were
probably
about
25
talents
there.
Definitely
we
need
to
educate
the
bond
in
the
levy.
They
were
just
really
asking
me
a
lot
of
questions
of
you
know
confused
and
we
we
were
aware
that
that
was
that
that
definitely
came
came
up,
especially
with
Rome.
A
We
had
a
couple
parents
that
were
new,
and
so
when
people
started
talking
about
didn't
we
just
both,
it
got
them
very
confused
so
and
we
did
anticipate-
and
you
mentioned
that
being
an
issue.
So
when
you
watch
the
video
we
actually
say
hey
did
we
just
pass
something
for
the
schools
and
then
we
we
explained
the
difference
and
how
money
can
be
used.
A
A
I
also
use
the
word
renewal,
quite
a
bit
yeah
and
if
I
may
just
add,
that's
a
common
way
of
looking
from
two
different
kinds
of
funding
measures
here
and
the
bond
menu
was
just
voted
on.
But
it
can
help
to
help
think
about
bonds
or
buildings
and
buses
and
books
and
voters
voted.
E
B
G
F
A
A
They
are
giving
to
education,
but
you
do
get
asked
this.
These
questions,
what
you.
F
A
Bomb
and
you
know
what's
the
difference,
but
if
people
are
very
very
supportive,
the
levy
you
know
once
they
find
out
what
it
is
for
and
as
a
board
member
I'm,
very,
very
thankful
for
that,
but
for
people
who
really
want
to
help
more,
there
is
also
another
website.
Yes,
for
me,
between
school
start.
F
The
world
we've
been
going
there.
There
are
ways
you
can
support
this
Levy
as
a
community
member
as
a
parent.
As
a
teacher
who
wants
to
helping
students
to
get
the
word
across,
you
can
go
in
there
and
click
on
the
name
for
volunteers,
supporting
my
domain
for
the
living,
the
campaigns
it
will.
A
I
just
want
to
thank
you.
This
is
a
tremendous
amount
of
transparency
for
our
community
and
I
appreciate
it
will
break
that
down
at
the
school
level
so
that
everybody
can
see
in
that
thing
is
happening.
The.
B
A
This
is
a
great
effort
and
it's
done
in
a
very
impressive
time
frame
during
the
time
when
there's.
A
Happening
so
thank
you
for
that
effort.
It
really
makes
a
difference
and
thank
you
for
helping.
B
Okay,
so
I
just
want
to
before
we
go
to
our
next
item.
We've
done
something
a
little
different.
A
With
the
board
of
agenda
and
I
just
want
to
point
this
out,
we
have
items
for
action
in
the
future
meeting
and
in
the
past.
That
would
be
things
that
are
at.
First
would
be
you
and
now
we're
lately.
Only
in
that,
it's
that
interaction
in
the
future
meeting,
because
those
are
things
we
talk
about
the
things
and
then
we
have
items
for
actions
and.
A
Like
meetings
so
with
that,
we
have
approved
that
contract
agreements.
B
With
the
EA
substitutes
and
I
know
Susan
Lottery,
this
is
going
to
come
up.
A
But
before
Susan
speaks
to
that
do
I
hear
the
move
to
adopt.
A
B
A
Break
the
line
before
you
begin
good
evening
nice
to
see
all
of
you
in
June
the
the
Russian
school
district
and
the
negotiations
with
dea's
foreign.
A
A
Have
presenting
unique
challenges
for
substitutes
and
the
district
has
worked
to
respond
with
both
incentives
and
supports
to
encourage
those
employees
to
continue
with
this
in
our
current
labor
market.
We
understand
that
loyal
employees
will
ensure
continuity
of
quality
learning.
Experiences
for
students
are
tremendously
important
to
achieving
our
mission.
This
contract
represents
a
fair
agreement.
A
A
I
want
to
thank
you
for
promoting
to
support
this
contract.
Thank
you,
and
also
I,
want
to
thank
the
negotiation
teams
for
the
work
to
achieve
this
agreement.
A
Who
remembers
any
questions
or
comments?
Exactly
I
will
be
voting
yes
on
this
contact
today
and
I
want
to
thank
the
work
of
the
team,
command
and
I
think
we
heard
over
and
over
tonight,
from
our
teaching
and
learning
staff
from
our
Charter
Schools
I.
We
all
lived
here
last
year
at
this
time.
How
critical
having
good
substitutes
are
to
the
success
and
learning
of
our
schools?
A
So
even
though
they're
feed
a
little
bit
differently
very
much
important
to
the
farming
of
our
schools,
so
thank
you
so
much
for
coming
up
for
our
fair
living
wage
and
acceptable
contract
for
our
substitutes
teaching.
B
I
just
want
to
thank
you
and
mirror
a
lot
of
Becky's
comments.
It's
great
that
we're
able
to
reach
an
agreement,
that's
physically
responsible.
It
also
provides
our
staff
with
their
compensation
and
I
can
tell
by
the
the
agreement
that
you
brought
forward
to
us
there's
a
lot
of
creative
thinking,
which
means
hopefully
there's
some
collaboration
going
on
too,
which
would
love
to
see
that
as
well.
A
B
Are
there
to
support
our
schools
so
very
happy
to
also
run
yes
on
this
as
well,
and
to
be
able
to
move
forward
and
implement
this
so
with
that
I'm
gonna
take
both
of
the
board.
A
When
I
call
your
name,
you
can
answer
I
if
you
name
or
abstain,
Susan
Greenberg
hi,
but
I'm
Perez,
I.
B
E
B
A
Next
up,
we
have
our
very
own.
Susan
Greenberg
is
up
for
a
nomination
for
the
OSB
board
of
directors.
Do
I
hear
a
motion
to.
A
A
Will
be
voting
yes
to
Susan
has
done
a
fine
job
over
the
last
few
years.
She
is
a
great
advocate
for
our
students
for
our
district
and
we'll
do
a
fine
job
at
the
state
level,
so
we're
very
fortunate
that
she
is
willing
to
serve
the
next
capacity.
Thank
you.
Susan.
H
B
B
E
B
Great
well,
then,
we
will
move
to
a
vote.
A
We
have
10
minutes
set
aside
for
board
member
comments.
If
anybody
have
any
couple.
A
I
want
to
reiterate
how
happy
I
am
that
our
students
are
back
in
school
and
safe,
and
our
teachers
are
back
in
school.
Safe
and
I
want
to
appreciate
our
District
staff
for
all
they've
done
to
make
our
first
couple
of
weeks
Amazing
for
our
community,
and
the
other
thing
I
want
to
comment
about.
Is
this
building
I
the
last
probably
my
10th
year
in
school
board?
You
know
the
school
board,
and
this
is
my
last
meeting
in
this
room,
and
you
know
as
strange
as
it
is.
It's
kind.
A
To
visualize
being
anywhere
else
so
again,
I
just
wanted
to
acknowledge
the
space,
because
there's
been
a
lot
of
school
board
members
that
have
passed
through
this
building
and
it's
quite
significant.
H
Third
yeah
I,
like
the
echo
like
the
energy
level
of
having
schools
open.
There
has
been
amazing,
so
you
know:
I
have
a
young
family
so
like
we're
taking
some
games
a
volleyball
and
football
and
a
sunset:
it's
really
nice
to
have
a
student
body.
There
present
having
fun
I
had
a
and
Dr
Gustavo
was
before
the
school
they
started.
H
H
Good
stuff
here,
I'm
looking
forward
to
seeing
a
new
building
and
we
have
a
bond
advisory
committee
meeting
on
Wednesday
there.
So
I
get
a
small
taste
of
that
before
our
next
board
meeting
with
the
our
new
digs.
So
thank.
A
Just
one
online
folks,
if
you,
if
you
yourself
or
if
you
know
anybody,
that's
not
registered
to
vote
we're
coming
up
to
that
timeline,
so
please
get
everyone
ready
to
vote.
This
is
a
very
important
election,
not
only
for
our
Levy,
but
also
I
want
to
say
to
my
fellow
board
members.
A
A
What
kind
of
support
do
they
have
for
the
state
funds,
because
that
is
really
important
to
the
people
that
we
elect
to
the
legislature,
so
I
just
wanted
to
put
that
in
two
before
I
saw
the
communications
team
put
up
this
great
videos,
I
also
wanted
to
say:
I
was
at
Mountainside
High
School.
These
kids
do
not
pay
attention
to
where
they
are
walking,
whether
it
be
on
the
street
in
traffic,
whether
it
be
in
the
parking
lot.
They
are
now
looking
at
those
phones
and
it's
just
a
matter
of
time.
A
It
has
just
come
out
at
a
time,
so
thank
you
so
much
for
that
campaign
to
try
to
make
parents
trying
to
make
students
more
aware,
but
again
as
we're
doing
our
board
work
just
look
out
because
the
kids
are
just
their
minds
are
absolutely
from
someone
else
and
the
lastly,
is
my
other
fellow
board
members.
It's
very
sad
I
will
not
miss
when
we
had
a
crowded
house
and
we
have
people
almost
on
top
of
us.
I'll
look
forward
to
the
bigger
digs
I
am
going
to
miss.
Is
it
too
hot?
A
Is
it
too
cold
whether
or
not
to
get
Carl
a
bad
time
with
that
about
this
building?
But
what
a
great
chapter
in
the
Beaverton
School
District,
that
are
that
we
have
the
opportunity
with
the
land
that
we
have
Wednesday.
We
can
find
a
new
location
and
still
make
that
work
and
help
our
students
but
I'm,
looking
forward
to
adding
a
big
new
panel
here,
because
this
is
a
really
we've
got
to
take
these
panels
with
the
shuttle.
A
You've
got
to
take
them
with
us
to
the
other
building
and
add
all
these
new
schools,
but
moving
into
a
new
district
office
is
a
huge
huge
chapter
in
the
story
of
the
Beaverton
School
District.
So
I
hope
that
for
future
Generations
they
can
remember
what
we
made
when
we
made
this
move
but
I'm
looking
forward
to
that
I'm
going
to
miss
I'm
going
to
miss
this
one,
crazy
videos.
B
C
E
C
Evening,
I
just
wanted
to
thank
everybody
for
supporting
Sunita
and
I,
as
we
move
forward
with
the
levy
and
have
was
very
thankful
of
all
those
that
endorsed
our
Levy.
We're
also
thankful
for
those
that
are
giving
donations
to
help
us
get
the
word
out,
we're
still
accepting
donations
and
we
are
also
needing
volunteers.
So
you
can
go
on
yes
for
beaverton.org
and
sign
up
as
a
volunteer
to
help
support
our
teachers.
C
Our
teachers
are
the
backbone
of
our
work
and
we
need
to
make
sure
that
we
pass
this
Levy,
and
so,
thanks
to
everybody
that
supported
so
far
and
the
board
has
also
been
chipping
in
and
we're
continuing
to
work
until
the
election.
Thank
you.
A
I
never
thought
I
would
go
in
nostalgic
for
a
disability,
and
but
it
has
been
incredible.
The
number
of
major
decisions
that
were
made
here,
the
amount
of
community
members
that
have
come
and
sat
before
different
boards.
The
number
of
board
members
that
this
is
really
been
a
place
for
democracy
in
our
schools
for
decades
and.
B
B
And
then,
probably
about
five
minutes
later,
I'll
be
very
happy
to
see
the
new
buildings
but
I
act
on
my
fellow
board
members
and
then
with
the
levy,
it's
so
important
to
get
the
word
out
right
now.
We
need
to
be
talking
to
everybody
about
that.
There's
a
sign
up
sheet
to
be
able
to
go
out
and
provide
information
to
our
PTO
and
ppcs.
A
There,
but
even
beyond
that,
I.
A
B
A
Very
excited
for
this
I
think
we're
going
to
get
this
across
the
finish
line
and
there's
a
lot
of
work
to
be
done,
but
yeah
we'll
leave
it
there
and
I
guess.
The
last
thing
I'll
say
is
that
it's
nice
to
be
at.
A
Yeah
I
just
got
here
and
again:
I,
like
my
new
digs
so
but
I
do
understand
the
historic
nature
of
this
district
office,
but
also
all
over
time
to
get
the
new
district
offices
running,
but
as
well
as
I've
been
staying
and
look
forward
to
the
work
ahead
with
our
association,
Partners,
familiar
Community
audience
and
but
again
it's.
It
feels
like
we're
back
on
track
to
have
this
summer
year
and
I
have
one
here
with
our
kids
and
our
faculty
are
excited
I.
A
Think
one
of
the
things
is
really
quickly
is
and
just
seeing
people's
faces
without
masks
in
schools
and
people
are
looking
at
our
Associated
products
around
the
schools
are
a
lot
who
are
in
schools
as
well.
Quite
often,
is
it
just
feels
good
this
year,
I
think
that's
quick
and
I
know
some
of
you
have
been
in
schools.
It
just
feels
good,
so
I
think
continuing
that
and.
