A
It
can
be
exciting
and
a
little
intimidating
when
writing
the
school
bus.
For
the
first
time,
the
Beaverton
School
District
wants
to
make
sure
our
students
are
safe
when
waiting
for
and
riding
the
school
bus.
The
alert
to
traffic
when
walking
to
your
bus,
stop
parents
and
guardians
should
ensure
their
child
is
at
the
designated,
stop
and
ready
to
board
five
minutes
prior
to
the
scheduled
stop
time.
A
Traffic
and
other
circumstances
can
cause
the
bus
to
be
early
or
late
on
any
given
day,
while
waiting
for
the
bus
stand
back
from
the
road
and
never
talk
to
strangers.
When
the
bus
arrives.
At
your
stop,
wait
for
the
doors
to
open
before
you
move
to
get
on
stay
away
from
the
wheels
at
all
times,
both
before
and
after
school.
Wait
for
the
drivers
signal
before
crossing
the
street
and
always
cross
in
front
of
the
bus.
A
Never
behind
hold
the
handrail
while
going
up
and
down
the
stairs,
go
directly
to
a
seat
and
remain
seated.
The
entire
ride
keep
the
aisles
clear
at
all
times
and
never
throw
things
on
the
bus
or
out
the
windows.
Keep
your
hands
to
yourself
speak
quietly
on
the
bus,
so
the
driver
will
not
be
distracted
and
always
be
silent.
When
the
bus
comes
to
a
railroad
crossing,
the
driver
needs
to
listen
for
trains.
Emergency
exits
are,
for
emergencies,
only
never
play
with
them.
If
there's
an
emergency,
listen
to
the
driver
and
follow
instructions.
