C
C
And
good
morning,
thank
you
all
for
being
here.
You
may
be
seated
we'll
get
started.
C
I'm
brian
wilson,
I'm
the
very
proud
principal
of
jefferson
forest,
high
school
and
a
proud
member
of
the
forest
community.
It's
so
good
to
be
back
here
in
the
vine
center
today
and
seeing
everybody
and
having
the
support
of
our
community
I'd
like
to
start
by
thanking
our
school
board
members,
our
senior
staff
for
their
presence.
Here
this
morning
it's
been
a
challenging
time
to
have
a
leadership
role
in
education.
I
just
want
to
take
a
moment
to
thank
each
of
them
for
their
commitment
to
the
students
and
families
of
bedford
county.
C
It
is
a
momentous
occasion
for
the
graduating
class
of
2022.
You
have
dedicated
many
hours
in
the
last
13
years
to
reach
this
much
deserved
recognition
to
the
class
of
2022.
We
thank
you
for
all
you've
done
and
congratulate
you
for
reaching
this
milestone.
This
afternoon,
you
joined
the
thousands
of
proud
graduate
graduates
of
jefferson.
Forest
high
school
have
attended
over
the
last
50
years
with
all
the
graduates
from
jefferson
forest
high
school
from
the
past.
Please
stand
at
this
time.
C
You
may
be
seated,
as
you
can
see,
from
the
number
of
men
and
women
who
stood
you're
joining
the
proud
ranks
of
the
large
number
of
graduates
who
came
before
you
like
the
graduates
of
previous
generations.
Today's
graduates
have
had
to
face
many
challenges
and
insecurities
growing
up
in
a
time
where
they
have
to
deal
with
a
constantly
changing
world
through
all
for
all
of
these
students
that
have
had
to
make
through
this,
they
have
maintained
a
spirit
of
excellence
and
resilience
that
everyone
should
admire
and
be
proud
of.
C
Even
the
most
challenging
situations.
These
students
have
thrived,
they
surpassed
many
graduates
from
classes
before
them
in
academic
success
and
when
the
world
slowed
down,
they
pushed
forward
and
embraced
the
challenge.
The
class
of
22
is
ready
to
join
the
post
high
school
world,
and
I
can't
wait
to
see
the
amazing
things
they
do.
C
C
Please
be
seated
now,
I
think
more
than
ever
we
have
found.
It
is
important
that
our
support
systems
are
there
for
each
other.
In
these
tough
times
over
the
last
two
years,
it
has
highlighted
how
strong
we
are
together,
there's
one
other
group
of
people
that
has
played
a
vital
role
in
the
education
at
this
point
of
these
young
people,
that's
their
teachers,
counselors
cafeteria
workers,
custodians
librarians,
school
nurses,
administrators,
central
office
staff
and
school
board.
Members.
Would
you
all
stand
at
this
time
to
be
recognized.
C
You
may
be
seated
graduates
as
you
can
see.
There
are
many
people
that
have
helped
you
get
here
today
and
we
are
all
very
proud
of
the
accomplishments
you
have
achieved.
We
wish
you
the
best
as
you
move
forward
in
your
lives
from
this
point
on.
This
is
a
commencement
ceremony
and
we
think
of
graduation
as
a
culminating
event.
However,
the
word
commencement
is
defined
as
the
beginning
or
the
start
of
an
endeavor.
C
D
D
E
To
begin
I'd
like
to
thank
the
student
body
for
nominating
me
to
speak
today
when
I
first
found
out
about
my
speech,
I
procrastinated
into
the
last
minute
with
my
first
draft,
and
it
originally
had
about
15
or
so
or
so
jokes,
but
after
a
rigorous
practice
session
with
my
family,
I
got
edited
down
to
about
one,
and
that
was
it
sorry,
that's
all.
I
got
for
you
guys
today.
E
Well
now
that
we
have
the
nonsense
out
of
the
way
I'd
like
to
begin
my
actual
speech
by
welcoming
and
thanking
all
the
teachers
and
faculty
who
have
come
to
see
us
all
and
make
this
day
run
smoothly.
They
were
an
integral
part
of
these
last
four
years
and
I
truly
can't
say
thank
you
enough
for
all
that.
E
You've
done
for
us
a
special
welcome
and
thanks
to
the
parents
and
families
who
have
come
to
celebrate
this
special
occasion
with
us
on
behalf
of
all
the
students
here,
I'd
like
to
express
a
profound
gratitude
for
the
love,
support
and
guidance.
You've
shown
us
over
our
lifetimes
to
the
friends
and
acquaintances
who
have
come
here
to
support
us.
E
Welcome
and
thank
you
for
choosing
to
spend
your
lovely
saturday
morning
with
us
to
those
of
you
from
the
bedford
county
school
board.
Welcome
and
thank
you
for
joining
us
and
for
the
part
you
play
in
each
of
our
educations,
for
anyone
who
is
unable
to
attend
our
ceremony
physically,
but
is
still
tuned
in
online
welcome,
and
I
hope
you
paid
for
the
ad-free
version
of
the
stream
now
to
the
greatest
class
of
students
that
ever
walked
this
planet
welcome
and
congratulations
on
reaching
this
milestone.
E
F
Hello,
my
name
is
shay
robertson
and
I
am
the
secretary
of
the
jefferson
forest
high
school
student
council
at
this
time.
I
would
like
to
recognize
those
members
of
our
graduating
class
who
have
chosen
to
serve
in
our
country's
armed
services.
Please
rise
and
remain
standing
when
I
announce
the
branch
of
military
that
you
will
be
serving
army.
F
F
G
Good
morning
my
name
is
udichikuaco
from
jefferson
forest,
I'm
the
reporter
for
the
class
of
2022,
it's
my
honor
to
introduce
the
student
participants
for
the
jefferson
forest
class
of
2022
commencement
ceremony.
Why
not
call
your
name?
Please
stand
and
remain
standing
until
everyone
has
been
recognized.
H
H
Our
lives
will
never
be
the
same
after
today
for
some
that
might
be
exciting
and
for
others
scary,
but
for,
however,
we
now
have
a
great
opportunity
in
front
of
us
that
I
would
like
to
represent
with
a
short
story.
It
may
be
silly,
but
humor
me
as
a
man
was
passing
elephants
in
a
zoo.
He
suddenly
stopped
confused
by
the
fact
that
these
huge
creatures
were
being
held
by
only
a
small
rope
tied
to
their
front
leg,
no
chains,
no
cages.
H
It
was
obvious
that
these
elephants
could
at
any
time
break
away
from
their
bonds,
but
for
some
reason
they
did
not.
He
saw
a
trainer
nearby
and
asked
why
these
animals
just
stood
there
and
made
no
attempt
to
get
away
well.
The
trainer
said
when
they
are
very
young
and
much
smaller.
We
use
the
same
size,
rope
to
tie
them
and
at
that
age
it
is
enough
to
hold
them
as
they
grow
up.
They
are
conditioned
to
believe
they
cannot
break
away
since
they
believe
the
rope
can
still
hold
them.
H
I've
learned
that
failure
is
something
that
can
either
hold
us
back
or
give
us
the
opportunity
to
grow
instead
of
being
held
back
like
a
thin
with
a
thin
rope
like
these
elephants
believe
that
you
can
grow
to
achieve
anything
believe
you
can
make
your
dreams
a
reality,
because
believing
is
the
most
important
step
in
actually
achieving
your
dreams.
Thank
you.
I
Hello,
my
name
is
teddy
liu
and
I
am
a
representative
of
the
senior
class
and
today
I
will
be
reading.
Oh
me,
o
life
by
walt
whitman,
omi,
o
life
of
the
questions
of
these
recurring
of
the
endless
trains
of
the
faithless
and
cities
filled
with
the
foolish
of
myself
forever,
reproaching
myself
for
who
more
foolish
than
I
and
who
more
faithless
of
eyes
that
vainly
crave
the
light
of
the
object's
mean
of
the
struggle
ever
renewed
of
the
poor
results
of
all
of
the
plodding
and
sordid
crowds.
I
I
The
answer
that
you
are
here
that
life
exists
and
identity
that
the
powerful
play
goes
on
and
you
may
contribute
a
verse,
and
I
know
this
is
a
poem
and
you
kind
of
have
to
think
it
over
to
find
the
meaning.
So
I'll
do
my
best
to
try
to
summarize
and
explain
it.
This
poem
talks
about
life.
It
talks
about
the
negativity
in
life
that
the
author
sees.
I
He
sees
endless
trains
of
the
faithless
in
cities
filled
with
the
foolish
and
he
the
struggles
and
emptiness
that
cloud
life
and,
worse
than
all
that,
he
sees
and
feels
that
he
himself
is
worthless
and
insignificant.
Even
among
the
most
foolish
and
faithless
we've
gone
through
a
lot
these
past
four
years,
we've
all
grown
up.
We've
had
our
moments,
where
not
only
did
life
feel
hard,
but
where
we
felt
like
nothing
compared
to
the
magnitude
of
our
problems,
I
mean
I
could
mention
things
like
covid
and
other
events
that
affected
us
all.
I
But
the
truth
is
we
have
all
gone
through
our
own
personal
problems
in
life
and
the
question.
What
good
am
I
amid
these
negative
moments
amid
worthless
feelings
amid
people
who
seem
more
prepared
and
talented
than
me
amid
my
own
lack
of
ability
and
a
daunting
future
without
my
friends?
What
good
am
I
then
will
always
persist
in
our
life,
but
there's
an
answer.
I
I
B
B
B
If
you
have
not,
you
are
entering
a
world
that
is
far
more
diverse,
sometimes
isolating
and
less
forgiving.
Remember
that
individuality
is
a
strength.
Our
teachers
have
displayed
the
power
of
diverse
interests,
with
distinct
loves
for
airplanes,
broadway,
beatles,
conspiracy
theories
and
ticonderoga
pencils.
B
It
has
never
been
more
important
to
express
yourself
whether
it
means
privately
practicing
self-care
or
public
advocacy.
We
are
the
generation
to
tackle
obstacles
by
asking
questions,
sending
emails
and
speaking
up.
I
hope
that
our
perseverance
reminds
us
that
our
voices
matter
finally
remember
those
who
mind
don't
matter
and
those
who
matter
don't
mind
it's
important
to
find
groups
that
care
for
your
voice
and
your
individuality,
but
as
we
leave
behind
familiarity,
we
will
be
challenged
by
disagreement.
B
B
B
We
like
to
think
we're
wise,
because
we've
come
so
far.
I
think
my
younger
self
would
be
proud,
proud
of
me
standing
out
getting
on
stage
embarrassing
myself
and
cherishing
every
voice
crack
proud
of
me
for
using
my
voice,
staying
truthful
and
for
speaking,
my
truth
for
making
friends
who
I
can
argue
or
agree
with
on
any
occasion,
but
we
all
have
so
much
farther
to
go.
B
J
J
I
would
like
to
share
the
theme
of
our
graduation,
which
is
centered
around
the
following
quote
that
prentice
mentioned
earlier,
be
who
you
are
and
say
what
you
feel,
because
those
who
mind
don't
matter
and
those
who
matter
don't
mind
now
reading
that
quote.
I
think
we
all
can
agree
that
being
yourself
and
not
caring.
What
others
think
can
be
a
bit
of
a
cliche,
sometimes
at
least
to
me
it
is
a
cliche,
because
it's
the
go-to
advice
when
you're
trying
to
inspire
someone
and
help
them
try
to
navigate
their
life.
J
I'm
sure
you've
all
heard
something
like
this
before
everything
will
be.
Okay,
if
you
just
be
yourself,
it
sounds
cliche
for
me
to
just
say
that,
and
I
know
you're
already
thinking
thanks
captain
obvious,
it's
easier
said
than
done.
I
have
tried
that
many
times
and
I
know
just
how
you
feel,
because
I've
been
there
too
it'd
be
great
if
we
could
all
be
ourselves
in
the
snap
of
a
finger,
but
high
school
has
other
plans
for
that
jefferson.
J
J
I
asked
myself
that
a
lot
when
reflecting
on
my
days
of
high
school-
and
it
eventually
hit
me
that
oftentimes
my
behavior,
was
just
a
front
that
I
put
on
to
meet
the
preferences
of
other
people.
It
was
not
my
authentic
self,
but
those
same
days
when
coming
home
from
school.
I
was
greeted
by
my
two
dogs.
J
Their
names
are
teddy
and
simon,
and
we
named
them
that
from
the
alvin
and
the
chipmunks
movie,
they're
they're
long-haired
dachshunds
they're
crazy
anyway,
I
would
come
home
and
they
would
greet
me
with
three
things
loud
barks
of
excitement,
jumping
up
and
down
like
crazy
and
trying
to
lick
me
like
there's
no
tomorrow,
and
you
know
why
they
did
that,
because
they're
dogs,
but
also
because
they
just
love
me
for
who
I
am.
They
never
minded
what
I
came
home
and
felt
emotionally.
J
They
didn't
mind
what
I
tried
to
be
or
who
I
aspired
to
be.
What
mask
I
tried
to
put
on.
They
just
loved
me
because
I
was
their
source
of
joy
and
happiness.
They
matter
to
me
because
they
don't
mind
so,
as
we
venture
out
into
the
world,
we
will
be
much
smaller
fish
in
a
much
much
bigger
pond,
but
the
rules
of
the
water
are
still
the
same.
J
K
Hello,
my
name
is
sully
tibbs
and
it
is
my
distinct
pleasure
to
introduce
our
honored
guests
who
contribute
to
the
operation
of
all
bedford,
county
public
schools.
Thank
you
for
your
service
to
our
students,
faculty
and
staff.
When
I
call
your
name,
please
rise
to
be
recognized
if
you
are
in
attendance
from
our
school
board
representing
district
four,
mr
marcus
s,
hill
vice
chairman.
L
I
first
wanted
to
start
by
saying
thank
you
to
all
the
faculty
alumni
friends
and
family
for
joining
us
today,
and
I
wanted
to
give
a
special
shout
out
to
those
who
have
worked
in
and
around
this
group
for
the
past
four
years,
all
the
teachers,
custodians
office
staff,
counselors
and
more,
who
have
kept
up
with
us
and
helped
us
get
to
this
point
today.
Thank
you
now
I
can
safely
say
we
did
it.
We
have
finally
reached
the
end
of
high
school.
Today
is
the
day
we've
been
counting
down
to
this
entire
year.
L
Today
is
the
day
we
begin
a
new
chapter
in
all
of
our
lives.
Today
is
the
day
we
start
the
new
beginning.
We
have
been
dreaming
about
since
elementary
school
today
marks
the
start
of
you.
This
is
where
you
begin.
Not
your
mom,
not
mr
murano,
even
though
I
think
half
of
us
would
want
to
be.
Mr
morano,
it's
about
you
today
is
the
start
of
something
great
for
each
and
every
one
of
us.
L
No
one
expects
you
to
know
exactly
what
you
will
do
in
life,
and
that
is
completely
okay.
We
are
literally
18
years
old,
even
morono
doesn't
know
that's
what
our
future
is
for,
but
yet
in
the
present
we
should
strive
to
be
great.
You
should
allow
yourself
to
be
great
by
your
own
definitions,
live
by
your
own
virtues
and
push
yourself
to
achieve
your
dreams.
L
Yes,
we
are
18
years
old
and
there
are
things
we
don't
know,
but
we
do
know
ourselves
tomorrow
we
step
into
a
world
that
sees
us
no
longer
as
students,
but
as
adults.
So
as
adults,
let
cree,
let's
create
these
paths
for
ourselves
that
are
not
defined
by
parents,
not
dictated
by
teachers
and
not
attempted
just
because
we
feel
underprepared.
L
We
are
great
because
of
the
definitions
that
we
write
so
stop
self
editing,
because
it
feels
scary
or
uncertain,
be
what
you
want
and
look
forward
to
the
future.
With
your
feet
planted
on
the
truth
of
yourself
breaking
free
from
the
lies,
you've
been
told
or
the
limitations
that
keep
you
from
moving.

We
will
eventually
forget
that
awful
smell
in
the
commons
time
during
the
winter
or
how
bipolar
the
ac
could
be,
but
we
won't
forget
the
experiences
we've
made
together,
since
we
were
kids,
we've
always
been
told
to
reach
for
the
stars
never
give
up
and
that
nothing
is
impossible.
If
you
put
your
mind
to
it,
how
about,
instead
of
remarking
how
trivial
all
of
these
sound,
we
actually
do.
L
What
we've
always
been
encouraged
to
it's
time
to
be
great,
it's
time
to
inspire
it's
time
to
grow,
be
kind
and
compassionate
to
those
that
you
meet
stand
up
for
those
who
need
it.
The
most
encourage
and
respect
those
around
you
each
and
every
day
find
your
purpose
find
your
meaning
find.
What
makes
you
you,
as
you
step
into
the
uncertain
future
of
tomorrow,
throw
off
the
excuses
that
keep
you
from
being
who
you
are
and
live?
Who
can
stop
you?
We
will
each
leave
this
place
and
go
our
own
ways.
L
Some
of
us
don't
know
where
that
way
is
others
have
known
it
since
childhood,
and
many
of
us
are
just
along
for
the
ride.
No
matter
where
you
end
up,
don't
forget
that
there
is
something
and
some
place
where
each
of
us
belong.
Take
risks
embrace
the
unknown
step
outside
of
your
comfort
zone.
Go!
Do
you
jf,
thank
you
and
congratulations.
