A
Hello
and
welcome
to
Lake
to
Lake
a
show
about
our
beautiful
city
of
Bellevue
I'm,
your
host
Robin
Steele.
Today
we're
coming
to
you
from
the
Bellevue
golf
course
and
we're
featuring
fun
and
some
great
information
on
this
episode
of
Lake
to
Lake.
We
showcase
two
great
golf
courses,
explain
how
the
city
of
Bellevue
is
using
this
vehicle
to
help
save
money
and
highlight
some
fun
summer
activities.
B
C
B
Have
a
beautiful
driving
range
I
think
one
of
the
best
in
the
state.
It's
double
decker.
It's
46
dolls.
We
also
have
a
short
game
area
chipping
green
cutting
green.
The
golf
course
is
for
everybody.
It
is
a
municipal
course
owned
by
the
city
of
Bellevue
and
it
is
priced
at
a
point.
That's
much
lower
than
any
course
in
the
area,
and
the
great
thing
is,
the
conditions
are
just
as
good,
if
not
better
than
those
courses.
We
also
have
a
very
short
course
called
the
crossroads
par-3
course.
B
D
B
E
B
Have
soccer
balls
available
for
rent
for
three
dollars,
but
we
also
encourage
people
to
bring
their
own
if
they
have
them
foot
golf
very
popular
with
soccer
teams,
high
school,
high
school
teams
or
youth
leagues,
and
they
play
on
the
golf
course,
but
they
play
holes
that
are
adjacent
to
the
golf
course,
the
City
of
Bellevue.
There
are
several
golf
options:
City
purposely
keeps
it
affordable
for
the
residents
of
Bellevue.
However,
it
is
open
to
anybody.
You
don't
have
to
be
a
resident
of
Bellevue.
B
Anybody
can
play
the
golf
course
so
to
make
a
tee
time
by
phone.
You
would
call
four
to
five
four
or
five,
two,
seven,
two,
five
zero.
Even
more
conveniently
you
can
go
online
at
Bellevue,
pgc,
comm
and
book
a
tee
time,
24
hours
a
day
or
we
can
use
the
app
simply
log
into
the
app
and
book
a
tee
time,
using
the
app
24
hours
a
day.
A
F
Bellevue
owns
and
maintains
about
1,100
Lane
miles
of
roadway
pavements,
it's
one
of
the
city's
most
valuable
assets,
and
so
we
want
to
make
data-driven
decisions
about
how
we
invest
the
city's
resources
and
keeping
it
in
good
condition.
The
basic
principle
behind
pavement
management
is
doing
the
right
treatment
at
the
right
time.
We
need
to
be
careful
to
make
sure
that
the
roads
don't
become
too
deteriorated,
with
cracks
and
potholes
before
doing
repairs.
F
Waiting
too
long
causes
us
to
have
to
rebuild
the
entire
road
which
can
cost
two
to
three
times
as
much
as
just
doing
simple
resurfacing
work.
A
really
important
part
of
the
pavement
management
program.
There's
a
survey
that
we
do
of
the
condition
of
the
pavement,
so
a
specialized
vanwall
drived
all
of
the
city's
roadways,
which
is
intended
to
be
a
pretty
big
job.
It
should
take
about
three
to
four
weeks
to
complete.
We.
G
Are
infrastructure
management
services
also
known
as
IMS,
and
we
were
hired
by
the
city
of
Bellevue
to
test
the
road
conditions
and
pavements?
This
is
our
distance
measurement
instrument,
also
known
as
a
BMI.
It
is
used
to
fire
our
images
for
our
camera
every
five
meters.
It
triggers
the
cameras
to
shoot
an
image.
We
have
our
lasers
right
here
in
the
bag
and
that's
what
we
use
to
test
our
lasers
fire
down.
G
F
That
van
will
test
for
pavement
deficiencies
like
cracks
and
potholes
and
give
us
data
back
that
we'll
use
as
part
of
our
pavement
management
software
and
that
software
can
predict
how
pavement
will
deteriorate
over
time.
We
use
that
information
to
select
project
sites
that
we'll
use
to
do
overlay
treatments
on
Bellevue
has
a
5-year
pavement
overlay
plan.
We
use
that
so
that
we
can
coordinate
with
other
agencies
and
departments
to
let
them
know
when
paving
work
is
intended
to
happen
by
coordinating
with
other
departments
and
utilities.
F
We
can
save
the
city
money
by
reducing
the
amount
of
restoration
needs
on
our
roadway
by
just
doing
them
one
time
with
our
pavement
overlay
program,
so
the
City
Council
allocates
about
five
to
seven
million
dollars
a
year.
It's
a
really
big
investment
in
our
city's
infrastructure,
and
so
we
want
to
be
really
careful
about
how
we
spend
that
money.
A
