A
Hello
and
welcome
to
Lake
to
Lake
a
show
about
our
beautiful
city
of
bellevue,
I'm
Robin
steal
this
month.
We
feature
the
Bellevue
grand
opening
of
one
of
the
world's
fastest
growing
software
companies,
a
new
pedestrian
and
bicycle
bridge,
a
city
technology
event
that
might
just
spark
your
interest,
a
thought-provoking
speaker
and
local
snowshoeing
adventures
on
January
18th,
one
of
the
world's
fastest
growing
top
ten
software
companies
opened
a
new
engineering
and
innovation
hub
in
downtown
bellevue.
Mayor,
Stokes
and
councilmember
Lee
were
on
hand
to
the
official
grand
opening
of
the
world
class
facility.
This.
B
Is
going
to
be
one
of
the
company's
largest
engineering
and
innovation
hubs,
so
this
is
a
big
deal
and
we
couldn't
be
happier
to
be
here
today.
Salesforce
is
the
fastest
growing
enterprise
software
company
in
the
world.
Did
you
know
that?
Okay?
So
if
you
have
interacted
with
brands,
like
oh
I,
don't
know
amazon,
REI,
t-mobile
coca-cola
bank
of
america,
Unilever
adidas
I
mean
the
list
goes
on
and
on.
Well,
then,
you
have
interacted
with
Salesforce,
because
Salesforce
is
behind
all
of
those
customer
interactions.
You.
C
Know
Bellevue
has
just
made
fantastic
changes
in
the
last
few
years,
not
that
we
made
them
all
we
like
to
think
we
helped
facilitate,
but
it
just
changed
so
that
we
have
a
very,
very
diverse
City,
and
we
welcome
you
very
very
much
to
this
community
on
behalf
of
Bellevue
are
welcome.
We're
looking
forward
to
seeing
self
horse
grow
and
prosper
in
bellevue
and
and
come
see
what
the
thank
you
in.
A
January
workers
installed
a
new
pedestrian
and
bicycle
bridge
along
northup
way.
A
major
east-west
streets
in
Bellevue.
The
bridge
project
is
one
of
several
improvements
to
the
roadway
when
completed
later.
This
spring
new
bike
lanes
will
link
a
regional
trail
from
the
520
floating
bridge
to
an
existing
trail
of
Northeast
24th
street
city.
Employees
were
recently
invited
to
an
event
called
the
spark
technology,
fair,
the
event
featured
information
about
new
and
emerging
technology
and
provided
hands-on
demonstration
all
designed
to
help
inspire
the
future
of
city
services.
D
Today's
spark
technology
fair,
is
designed
to
get
the
city
really
thinking
about
innovation
and
technology
and
how
technology
may
change
how
we
all
do
business.
In
the
future,
we
put
together
a
series
of
five-minute,
very
quick
cause
designed
to
get
people
thinking
a
little
bit
bigger
about
maybe
some
of
their
daily
work
and
designed
to
see
how
technology
may
impact
their
jobs
and,
after
the
five
minute
talk,
we
have
a
vendor
fair
where
folks
can
interact
with
these
technologies
that
they
heard
about
in
a
hands-on
way.
D
All
of
the
ideas
that
were
talked
about
today
are
exciting
to
me.
Probably,
most
importantly,
we
heard
a
lot
about
how
we
can
use
technology
to
engage
with
residents
differently
and
allow
them
to
use
things
like
augmented
reality
or
virtual
reality
to
envision
the
city
that
we're
all
helping
to
build
together
with
our
residents.
D
So
what
we're
hoping
to
do
with
the
data
that
we
gather
today,
and
hopefully
some
information
sharing,
is
begin,
the
process
of
getting
ideas
from
across
the
city
about
what
they
see
and
use
this
at
the
start
of
a
conversation,
not
the
end
of
a
conversation
that
will
tie
to
the
enterprise
technology
plan
for
Bellevue,
together
with
the
council
vision,
we
will
much
better
be
able
to
shape
how
we
want
to
use
technology
in
Bellevue
and
it
takes
both
partners.
It
takes
technology
and
it
takes
business.
D
So
one
of
the
most
exciting
things
for
me
is
not
a
specific
technology,
but
it's
really
sparking
that
conversation
with
everyone.
If
the
public
is
interested
in
how
Bellevue
is
using
technology
and
thinking
about
technology
for
the
future,
they
can
go
to
Bellevue,
wad
of
and
search
for
information
technology
and
learn
more
about
what
we're
doing
a
Martin.
A
E
You
may
be
wondering
why
do
we
have
in
a
white
person
talking
about
being
white
on
Martin
Luther
King,
you
know
gay
or
we
eek
for
as
long
as
people
have
struggled
with
race.
We
have
looked
at
people
of
color
right
and
we
have
said
what
what's
the
problem
right.
Why
are
they
struggling
and
for
as
long
as
we've
been
doing
that,
they've
been
looking
at
us
and
saying?
Why
don't
you
look
at
yourself?
You
might
actually
be
our
problem.
At
least
there
is
a
relationship
between
us.
E
E
Those
are
the
college
champ,
and
that
is
the
board
at
the
end
of
the
grand
champion
round
and
as
we
can
see,
there
was
one
category,
not
one
of
them
answered,
or
you
know
called
on,
and
obviously
that
was
the
hardest
one
and
nobody
wanted
to
lose.
Okay,
I
didn't
make
this
up.
This
is
the
actual
final
round
of
the
college
jeopardy
champion.
Playoffs
2016.
E
E
Victim-Blaming
kinds
of
expla
nations
for
the
racial
inequity
in
our
society
and
I
also
want
to
say
this
is
my
history
right.
We
know
what
was
going
to
be
under
that
category.
Civil
war
and
civil
rights
always
always
always
because
that's
their
history
right.
It
happened
in
a
vacuum
to
them
and
we
had
nothing
to
do
with
it.
No,
it
is
the
deep,
deep
entwine
history
that
is
the
foundation
of
this
country
and
all
of
us
in
it.

Snowshoeing
is
a
great
way
to
have
outdoor
winter
fun.
If
you've
never
tried
it.
You
might
be
surprised
at
how
easy
it
can
be.
Today
we
go
on
an
adventure
with
solve
you
parks
and
community
services
to
highlight
some
very
affordable
trips,
especially
designed
for
beginners,
who
want
to
give
snowshoeing
a
try.
F
The
traction
issue
program
is
a
program
where
we
take
use
families
and
adults
on
day-long
snowshoe
adventures
mostly
for
beginners,
but
for
anyone
we're
just
wanting
to
go
out
and
experience
snowshoeing.
We
have
a
lot
of
repeat
customers
I,
think
it's
because
it's
such
a
good
value
and
it's
very
easy,
just
show
up
and
then
everything's
done
for
you.
So
we
get
a
lot
of
people
that
come
back
year
to
year.
First.
F
F
Had
three
main
types
of
trips,
family
trips
that
are
offered
on
Saturdays
and
those
are
for
ages,
seven
and
up
on
Tuesdays.
We
have
a
queue
jtrail
program,
which
is
for
the
50-50
flush,
and
then
we
do
you
strips
or
chair
for
10
to
13
year
olds
and
those
are
when
school's
out
one
of
the
barriers
to
getting
outside
in
the
winter
and
winter
driving.
So
we
provide
all
the
winter
driving.
F
We
also
picked
out
the
trail
so
knowing
where
to
go,
can
be
another
barrier
and
we
always
pick
trails
that
are
safe
and
we
check
the
weather
and
road
conditions
before
we
go
out
just
to
make
sure
everyone
has
a
great
time
a
great
value
because
it
includes
transportation,
a
park
pass
as
well
as
a
snowshoe
rental.
Our
family
trips
are
twenty
to
twenty-five
dollars
per
person.
The
tuesday
trail
program
is
fifteen
dollars,
a
person
and
our
youth
trips,
which
are
all
day
when
school's
out
our
$45.
