From YouTube: Fire Chief Hagen's Message- June 2018
Description
No description was provided for this meeting.
If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
I
want
to
say
thank
you
for
providing
me
with
such
a
warm
welcome
to
the
belyeu
Fire
Department
I
really
appreciate
that
I'd
also
like
to
say
thank
you
to
Deputy
Chief,
Todd,
dicker
boom
and
deputy
chief
Andy
adolfson
for
the
gracious
way
that
they
invited
me
into
the
Bellevue
Fire
Department
and
made
me
instantly
feel
at
home
and
showed
me
the
ropes.
So
guys.
Thank
you
for
that
for
those
of
you
that
I
haven't
met.
Yet,
please
don't
give
up
on
me.
A
I
am
on
my
way
to
see
you
I've
been
working
long
days
and
the
station
visits
are
taking
anywhere
from
an
hour
to
three
hours
but
I'm
glad
to
be
there
I'm
glad
to
meet
you
and
I'm
glad
to
hear
your
stories.
So
if
I
haven't
been
to
you
yet
I'm
on
my
way.
So
far,
probably
best
meal
has
been
the
pulled.
Pork
tacos
at
Station,
three
very
spicy,
but
let's
see
if
we
can
top
that
I'm
a
I
have
a
great
appetite
I'm.
A
good
eater
and
I
appreciate
the
conversation.
A
A
I
really
appreciate
that
I've
had
a
chance
to
go
to
six
fires
so
far,
including
incidents
in
Clyde,
Hill,
yarrow
point
the
an
Atty
neighborhood
of
Bellevue
and
multiple
alarm
fires
in
both
Redmond
and
Kirkland,
and
what
I've
observed
you
guys
are
great
teammates
with
our
other
fire
departments.
You
have
an
aggressive
interior
style,
I
see
a
lot
of
safety.
Behavior
and
I
really
couldn't
be
more
pleased
with
what
I've
seen
on
the
fire
ground
I've
also
had
a
chance
to
observe
motor
vehicle
incidents
and
rescues
and
technical
rescue.
A
Drills
I
want
to
share
with
you
a
letter
that
I
got
from
a
woman
who
was
visiting
Bellevue.
She
and
her
husband
were
in
a
downtown
hotel
and
her
husband
suffered
a
suffered,
a
very
serious
medical
emergency.
This
woman
sent
me
a
very
hot
felt
letter
sincerely
thanking
me
for
the
professional
and
compassionate
service
that
you
provided
to
her
and
her
husband.
So
thank
you
for
that.
A
Keep
up
the
good
work
love
to
receive
letters
like
that
when
I
arrived
here,
there
were
a
lot
of
important
regional
conversations
already
happening
and
I'd
like
to
talk
for
a
minute
about
emt
G,
the
east
Metro
training
group.
As
you
know,
we
pulled
back
from
participating
in
that
group
a
few
months
ago
and
I
really
believe
that
an
isolationist
policy
is
not
going
to
be
in
our
long-term
interest
and
I've
tasked
our
training
division,
to
devise
a
way
that
we
can
re-enter
with
our
regional
partners
in
drilling
and
training
in
a
positive
way.
A
That's
going
to
work
for
us,
so
stay
tuned
for
more
details
about
emt
G
I
also
want
to
mention
that
with
new
leadership,
I
understand
that
sometimes
there
can
be
some
concern
and
some
anxiety
about
changes,
but
I
want
to
let
you
know
a
couple
things
about
that.
One
I'm
committed
to
moving
forward
in
partnership
with
our
labor
groups,
I
believe
in
a
collaborative
process
and
I'm
here
to
listen.
A
Let's
face
it,
I'm
not
going
to
put
out
any
fires
here
in
Bellevue,
so
the
best
way
I
can
help
us
move
forward
is
to
provide
strategic
guidance
to
the
fire
department
and
make
sure
that
you're
well
trained,
well
equipped
and
well
prepared
to
respond
to
the
emergencies
that
you
surely
will
face
in
the
future.
So
that's
my
job
in
the
meantime,
I'd,
like
you
guys
to
focus
on
safety,
take
care
of
each
other
and
we'll
see
you
at
the
next
video
update.
Thank
you.
