Hello
and
welcome
to
Lake
to
Lake
cos
show
about
our
beautiful
city
of
Bellevue,
I'm
Robin
Steele,
we're
coming
to
you
from
East
Gate
Park
and
were
high
above
the
ground
on
the
Bellevue
ZIFT
tour.
Today,
we're
highlighting
the
important
work
of
Bellevue
Utilities,
a
series
of
bridge
projects
designed
to
improve
fish
passage,
highlights
from
the
2018
bellwether
art
exhibition
and
some
spectacular
fall
events,
including
a
unique
opportunity
to
try
the
Bellevue,
zip
tour.

C
This
is
our
14th
iteration
and
what's
exciting,
is
that
this
year,
bellwether
now
becomes
an
annual
10-day,
Arts,
Festival
and
really
what
people
can
expect
are
not
only
sculptures
but
also
murals
and
a
host
of
different
types
of
artwork
on
display
throughout
downtown
about
whether
it's
free
to
the
public
and
every
single
one
of
our
spaces,
and
so
City
Hall,
downtown
Park,
compass,
Plaza
and
even
the
Bellevue
Arts
Museum,
which
will
be
free
for
those
10
days.
September
14th
through
the
23rd,
what's
unique
about
bellwether.
C
Is
that
not
only
can
people
experience
art
in
our
public
spaces
like
our
downtown
Park
in
our
city
hall,
but
also
with
our
partners,
and
we
have
two
exciting
partners.
The
first
is
Bellevue
Arts
Museum
and
for
the
first
time
we
are
partnering
with
Bellevue
arts
museum
to
host
a
bellwether
pop-up
exhibition.
Also,
we
have
a
partnership
with
Madison,
Marquette
and
compass
Plaza
and
there
will
be
artworks
throughout
the
the
plaza
for
people
to
enjoy.
D
The
piece
that
I'm
showing
is
an
animatronic
crow,
which
means
it's
a
motorized
kind
of
chuck-e-cheese
style,
sculpture.
The
crow
is
falling
apart.
It's
wing
is
coming
off,
it's
kind
of
stuttering,
its
feathers
are
falling
off,
but
it's
focused
on
the
iPhone
at
its
feet
and
it's
live-streaming
itself
over
YouTube
live
during
the
duration
of
the
show.
It's
a
not-so-subtle
job
at
how
often
we're
on
our
phones
and
the
fixation
on
Instagram
and
YouTube
live
that
kind
of
thing.
D
C
We
talk
about
artwork
as
holding
up
a
mirror.
If
you
ask
me
artwork,
and
this
specific
bellwether
exhibition
is
for
ten
days,
our
mirror
in
Bellevue,
and
so
whether
or
not
you
want
to
be
challenged
or
you
want
to
be
entertained,
there's
something
for
you
to
experience
and
something
for
you
to
get
connected
into
this
larger
creative
hole
that
we
call
Bellevue.
