Description
A
Welcome
to
the
new
city
code
and
land
use
code
sight
for
the
City
of
Bellevue,
we're
going
to
take
you
on
a
video
tour
to
help
you
navigate
the
new
site
as
well
as
walk
through
some
of
the
new
and
enhanced
features
that
are
available
for
the
best
performance.
We
recommend
using
Google,
Chrome
or
Microsoft
edge
to
access
the
code
sight.
So,
let's
start
by
exploring
the
home
page
for
a
moment,
you
will
notice
familiar
links
on
this
home
page.
A
A
Let's
explore
some
of
the
features
of
the
site
from
the
main
toolbar
select
track,
and
you
will
see
two
options:
legislative,
history
and
historic
versions.
Let's
explore
the
legislative
history
for
a
moment.
The
legislative
history
is
a
list
of
all
legislation
passed
by
the
City
Council.
In
chronological
order,
beginning
with
the
most
recently
passed,
you
can
filter
the
legislative
history
by
year,
type
status
or
all
of
the
above
I'm,
going
to
scroll
down
to
ordinance
six
four
zero,
nine
to
use
as
an
example
for
the
next
section.
A
Each
time
you
click
on
a
piece
of
legislation,
you
will
receive
a
pop-up
window
with
a
lot
of
useful
information.
Let's
go
over
some
of
this
in
more
detail
in
order
to
view
the
document
version
of
the
code.
When
that
piece
of
legislation
was
adopted,
you
can
click
the
View
tab
to
see
the
original
PDF
of
the
version.
Click
original
enactment.
If
this
particular
piece
of
legislation
affected
any
sections
of
the
code,
you
will
see
all
of
the
sections
listed
under
the
affecting
section.
A
Let's
head
back
to
the
home
page,
you
can
do
so
by
closing
this
window
and
clicking
the
home
button
in
the
upper
left
hand
of
your
screen.
Now
that
we're
back
on
the
home
page,
let's
explore
the
historical
versions.
Remember
historical
versions
are
located
under
the
track.
Tab
clicking
on
this
will
bring
you
a
pop-up
window.
At
this
point,
you
can
view
prior
versions
of
the
code.
The
city
of
Bellevue
has
approximately
two
versions
per
year.
A
Going
back
to
2004,
the
city
codifies
a
new
version
of
the
code,
approximately
twice
a
year
and
all
versions
of
the
code
from
today
forward
will
be
available
for
viewing
in
this
list
later.
I'll
show
you
an
additional
feature
where
you
can
actually
compare
Prior
versions
of
the
code
for
now,
let's
close
this
window
and
explore
a
part
of
the
land-use
code,
I'm
going
to
select
land-use
code
and
then
select
part
2025
a
to
use
for
this
example.
A
Let's
go
over
several
of
the
new
features
that
you
see
on
this
page.
First,
you
will
see
that
there
are
now
breadcrumbs
similar
to
that
on
the
city
website.
These
are
all
active
links
and
will
take
you
to
any
prior
page
with
one
click.
Also
on
this
page
is
a
green,
revised
tag.
This
is
called
code
track.
This
indicates
there
is
a
section
of
code
that
has
been
recently
revised.
A
You
will
also
notice
the
what's
nearby
and
on
this
page
sections
which
are
dynamic
and
change
as
you
scroll
through
the
code,
both
allow
for
easier
maneuverability
through
the
code,
giving
you
the
option
to
skip
to
the
next
chapter
or
previous
chapter
or
the
next
section
family.
Also
new
to
the
code
are
what
are
called
zoning
definition
pop-ups.
As
you
see
when
I
hover
my
mouse
over
the
word
downtown,
a
pop-up
window
appears
with
the
appropriate
zoning
definition
anytime.
A
Now,
let's
take
a
look
at
the
title
of
this
section
as
I
begin
to
scroll
down
further
20:25
a
0
1
0
general
is
the
title
as
I
scroll,
you
will
see
that
the
section
title
stays
at
the
top
of
the
screen.
This
is
extremely
for
when
maneuvering,
through
lengthy
sections
of
the
code,
and
you
need
to
reference
the
section
title.
Let's
now
take
a
look
at
that
additional
feature
in
historic
versions
that
I
alluded
to
earlier
when
I
was
in
the
code
or
land
use,
city
code
or
land
use
code.
A
At
this
point,
you
will
see
that
there
is
now
a
compare
option
available.
In
this
example,
let's
compare
the
January
3rd
2017
to
the
current
code.
Simply
click
compare
wait
a
moment,
and
you
can
now
see
that
the
green
text
is
the
current
code
and
red
line
is
what
was
viewed
in
the
prior
code
at
the
bottom
of
the
page.
You
will
have
options
to
skip
backwards,
a
version
or
to
skip
to
the
current
version.
Let's
go
back
to
the
current
version.
A
One
final
feature
we
would
like
to
point
out
is
the
ability
to
share
and
utilize
sections
of
the
code
in
multiple
ways
to
look
within
this
title:
go
to
the
menu
bar
and
click
share.
I
will
click
on
this
page
and
I
receive
a
pop-up
window
which
gives
me
the
option
to
create
a
PDF
to
create
a
word
document
to
send
an
email
or
to
print
a
section
or
even
share
your
selection
on
social
media?
A
This
concludes
our
video
tour.
We
hope
you

tour
and

the
new

features
