A
Hello
and
welcome
to
Lake
to
Lake
a
show
about
our
beautiful
city
of
Bellevue,
I'm,
Robyn
Steele
today
we're
coming
to
you
from
Bellevue
downtown
Park
and,
as
always,
we're
sharing
some
of
the
reasons.
Bellevue
is
the
city
where
you
want
to
be
here's
a
look
at
some
of
the
stories
on
today's
Lake
to
Lake,
meet
Bellevue's
canine
Heroes,
be
inspired
by
the
inspiration,
playground
and
see
a
boring
story.
That
deep
down
is
interesting.
A
The
Bellevue
Police
Department
is
nationally
accredited
for
its
exceptional
public
service,
and
next
we
show
you
just
how
doggedly
determined
they
are
to
provide
the
best
quality
law
enforcement
possible.
The
story
you're
about
to
see
is
true.
This
is
the
story
of
some
of
Bellevue's
finest
officers
who
wear
their
badges
with
pride,
their
crime
stoppers,
who
take
a
bite
out
of
crime,
meat,
ghost
age
for
Ozzie
h3
and
our
newest
of
k-9
officer,
tier
H,
two
dogs.
B
Have
an
amazing
sense
of
smell
and
how
the
handles
compare
it
is
to
a
cookie
baking,
a
human
being
can
smell
a
cookie
baking.
The
dog
can
smell
the
ingredients
inside
of
that
cookie
and
can
tell
each
ingredient
apart
that
dog
can
smell
drugs.
There's
dogs
that
are
trained
to
smell
explosives,
there's
dogs
that
are
trained
to
smell
electronics
and.
A
B
B
C
D
Our
training
in
general
consists
of
some
basic
obedience
sitting
staying
coming
when
he's
called,
and
it
also
includes
biting
and
apprehension
work
and
a
big
part
of
that
is
what
we
call
the
control
piece
and
that's
getting
oddly
to
return
when
he's
on
his
way
to
bite
somebody
before
he
bites
them
and
to
release
from
a
bite
with
a
verbal
command,
so
that
I
can
call
him
back
to
me
from
position
of
safety.
Part.
B
Of
our
retirement
processes,
we
continue
to
feed
the
dogs
and
we
also
continue
medical
care
for
these
dogs
because
we
want
them
in
tip-top
performance,
while
they're
working,
but
also
provide
them
a
good
retirement.
If
you
have
interest
in
supporting
the
program,
the
belly
Police
Foundation
has
actually
purchased
a
number
of
our
dogs
in
the
past.
They've
also
purchased
things
like
body,
armor
and
other
equipment
that
our
dogs
need.
B
A
E
Inspiration
playground
is
really
more
than
more
than
it
appears
it's
more
than
just
a
playground.
It's
a
place
where,
where
children
with
and
without
disabilities,
can
get
together
and
interact
and
play
to
space
for
children
of
all
abilities
and
in
addition
to
that,
anybody,
whether
they're,
an
adult
or
a
child,
anybody
that
has
mobility
limitations
can
come
in
and
enjoy
and
spend
time
with
their
kids
and
grandkids.
C
F
The
surface
here
is
really
really
soft.
You
know
my
son
Caleb
he's
got
some
problems
with
coordination
and
you
know
I
know
he's
safe
on
the
soft
surface.
So
that's
that's
a
real
plus
for
us
I,
like
the
the
variety
of
activities
so
that
this
Park
offers
he
always
got
water
American.
Our
daughter,
really
loves
the
water.
You
know
what
Caleb's
trying
the
ladders
I.
E
Really
wanted
Bell
V
rotary
to
be
able
to
have
a
signature
project
in
downtown
Bellevue,
so
I'm
really
proud
that
it
all
the
pieces
came
together
to
make
it
happen
and
serendipitous
events
happened
along
the
way
to
help
help
bring
it
together
and
make
it
happen.
The
power
of
rotary,
the
collaboration
with
the
city
and
having
the
right
people
in
my
club.
Those
were
all
key
elements:
I
just.
