submitting
the
beautiful
student

that's
been
displayed
in
the

everyone's

B
I
Good
evening,
chairperson
McQuillan
superintendent,
Dixon
board
members
and
guests,
it's
an
honor
for
the
division
of
academics
and
Innovation
to
sponsor
the
district
teacher
of
the
year
process.
Because,
through
this
recognition,
we
truly
get
to
honor
the
ideal
characteristics
of
great
teaching
and
the
ultimate
recognition
of
the
hard-working
commitment
of
all
of
the
teachers
in
Berkeley
County
tonight,
I'd
like
to
invite
Mrs
Jennifer
Crowley
interim
executive
director
of
a
I
who
has
been
the
division
liaison
for
the
district
teacher
of
the
year
process
to
make
tonight's
special
recognition.
J
Good
evening,
chair,
McQuillan,
superintendent,
Dixon
and
members
of
the
board,
it
has
been
an
honor
to
serve
as
the
district
liaison
for
the
2023
bcsd
District
teacher
of
the
year
process
this
year
tonight,
as
we
look
forward
to
the
future
of
teacher
Forum,
I
would
like
to
honor.
First,
the
chair
of
the
teacher
Forum
this
year.
I
would
like
to
recognize
Brittany
Geary
teacher
Forum
chair,
as
well
as
our
2021
District
teacher
of
the
year.
If
everyone
give
her
a
round
of
applause,
even
though
she
can't
be
here.
J
Even
though
Brittany
can't
be
here
tonight,
I
would
like
to
thank
her
for
her
hard
work
and
Leadership
over
the
past
two
years
with
teacher
Forum.
Through
her
leadership,
we
have
continued
to
see
teacher
Forum
grow
as
she
has
encouraged
the
form
to
be
set.
Apart
with
a
purpose
to
create
experiences
for
teachers
and
students
that
can't
be
found
anywhere
else.
Can
we
please
give
Miss
Gary
another
round
of
applause.
J
J
Casey
giddens
is
a
special
education
teacher
at
Westview
Middle
School
during
her
performance
task,
Casey
shared
her
passion
for
our
special
education
students.
Casey
says
in
special
education
I
find
that
many
people
underestimate
what
my
student
population
can
achieve.
I
strive
to
not
only
challenge
that
idea
in
our
community,
but
also
to
challenge
my
students
by
providing
them
with
whatever
tools
they
need
to
overcome
or
work
around
their
disability
and
to
become
successful
and
as
independent
as
possible.
J
J
She
scaffolded
instruction
for
each
of
her
students
to
meet
their
needs,
while
also
challenging
them
to
reach
high
levels
of
learning.
Her
students
were
taking
ownership
of
their
learning,
supporting
each
other
and
having
fun.
It
was
a
great
experience
seeing
Casey's
classroom
and
her
students
thriving.
J
K
I
As
you
can
see,
in
the
back
of
the
room,
we
have
hung
the
teacher
of
the
year
Banner
for
2023
bcsd,
so
Casey
is
there
with
us.
We
also
have
a
banner
that
will
be
presented
and
hung
at
her
school
and
at
this
time,
we'd
like
to
ask
the
board
members.
If
you
would
come
down
and
take
a
picture
with
Casey
in
the
banner
absolutely
family
too,.
B
M
Foreign
good
evening,
chair,
McQuillen
superintendent,
Dixon
board
members.
Tonight
we
are
excited
to
share
the
Timberland
High's
JROTC
Raider
team
has
won
the
State
title
for
the
second
year
in
a
row.
Last
year
the
team
won
state
in
the
co-ed
division.
This
year
the
male
team
took
the
title
after
placing
second
last
year,
Raider
competitions
typically
have
five
events.
The
5K
team
run
Logistics
Relay
Team
physical,
fitness
challenge,
the
one
rope
bridge,
challenge
and
I
know
this.
Is
your
favorite
Mr
McQuillen?
The
truck
pull
schools
compete
against
the
other
schools,
regardless
of
their
classification.
M
N
Well,
I
didn't
realize
a
lot
of
what
I
sent
was
going
to
be
said
tonight.
So
half
of
my
speech
is
already
over
all
right.
Oh
you're,
perfectly
fine!
Thank
you
that
was
awesome.
Last
part
of
the
information
that
I
wanted
to
put
out
tonight
was
just
well
first
before
I
always
forget
this
I
think
three
individuals.
First,
my
Lord
and
Savior
Jesus
Christ
for
allowing
me
to
be
a
coach
this
year
of
these
amazing
men
that
you
see
before
you.
N
Second,
the
parents
who
truly
make
sacrifices
each
and
every
day,
each
and
every
week,
just
months
out
of
the
year
to
allow
what
we
do
to
happen
financially
emotionally,
just
in
so
many
ways
and
last
but
not
least,
a
lot
of
people
I
want
to
think,
but
I'm
just
going
to
think.
These
three
is
my
beautiful
wife
who
sacrifices
in
so
many
ways.
So
thank
you.
Honey.
N
Last
year,
these
young
men
came
up
as
runner-ups,
and
that
was
that
was
a
tough
defeat
for
them,
especially
when
they
saw
their
co-ed
teammates.
Take
the
state
championships,
so
it
was
kind
of
Bittersweet,
but
I
believe
that
the
lesson
that
they
learned
that
day
was
and
failure
is,
is
not
failure.
It's
an
opportunity
for
you
to
regroup,
to
to
challenge
yourself
to
come
back,
and
they
definitely
did
that
this
year.
N
They
they
did
not
accept
failure
as
the
only
option
they
put
back
on
their
caps
and
they
did
what
they
had
to
do
to
come
back
and
take
the
state
championship
there,
so
so
I'm
so
proud
of
their
accomplishment.
N
And
last
but
not
least,
I
just
want
to
say
that
I
remind
my
students
that
when
they
were
born,
they
cried
while
the
world
rejoiced
all
I
ask
of
my
students
is
that
they
live
their
lives
so
that
when
they
die,
the
world
will
cry
while
they
Rejoice
East
day
provides
us
an
opportunity
to
impact
the
lives
of
those
you
meet.
While
hard
work
is
important
alone,
it
does
not
guarantee
success.
Our
success
is
and
will
always
be
built
upon
how
we
treat
each
other.
N
A
A
F
N
N
N
L
N
I
say
one
more
thing:
yes,
sir:
go
ahead:
Mr
Dixon!
We
have
a
shirt
for
you.
That's
all
about
Raiders
and
the
best
of
the
best
on
the
back
of
the
shirt
has
the
top
teams
of
a
seven
state
region
that
went
to
the
best
of
the
best
competition
this
year
after
winning
the
state
championship.
So
this
is
yours
to
keep
and
hang
or
wear
around
town.
When
you
come
to
Timberland,
however,
you
see
fit.
B
B
B
All
right,
the
next
agenda
item
is
Citizens
comments
in
order
to
conduct
the
meeting
in
an
orderly
and
efficient
manner.
We
ask
that
you
honor
the
following
guidelines.
Stakeholder
comments
are
welcomed
and
encouraged.
However,
the
board
will
not
take
immediate
action
on
public
comments
at
this
meeting.
Any
person
wishing
to
address
the
board
must
register
prior
to
the
meeting.
Comments
must
be
regarding
programs,
policies
or
procedures.
Comments
regarding
complaints
against
employees
other
than
District
level
Executives
or
references
to
students
other
than
the
child
of
the
speaker
will
not
be
heard
in
public
session
groups.
B
Addressing
the
same
topic
should
select.
One
speaker
comments
will
be
limited
to
three
minutes
per
speaker.
The
board
chair
reserves
the
right
to
a
lot
additional
time
or
halt
public
comments
that
do
not
adhere
to
the
guidelines.
Our
first
Speaker
this
evening
is
John
Jam
rogowitz
moment
of
silence,
not
recognized.
L
Thank
you,
chairman
McQuillan
board
members
and
Dr
Dixon
good
evening.
My
name
is
John
jamrockowitz
I
am
a
longtime,
Berkeley,
County
resident
and
retired
for
about
seven
years
after
working
for
over
26
years
at
Trident,
Technical
College
I
can
think
of
no
more
serious
business
than
the
one
in
which
you
are
engaged.
L
Thank
you
for
this
opportunity
to
address
you
as
a
person
of
faith.
I
appreciate
the
moment
of
silence
that
the
board
has
chosen
to
include
after
the
Pledge
of
Allegiance.
I
am
not
a
lawyer,
but
my
understanding
is
that
this
is
a
reasonable
way
to
balance
the
natural
and
Democratic
stresses
that
occur
between
our
individual
freedoms
of
speech
and
religion.
This
allows
each
of
us
in
our
own
way
to
reflect
meditate
or
pray
before
we
engage
in
the
serious
business
with
which
this
board
and
our
citizens
come
together
to
conduct.
L
However,
tonight,
as
well
as
during
the
last
meeting
on
May
1st,
several
attendees
chose
to
recite
a
prayer
during
the
moment
of
silence.
My
understanding
is
that
the
word
silence
can
reasonably
be
defined.
As
the
absence
of
sound.
My
concern
is
that
the
board
did
not
address
this
deviation
from
its
agenda's
protocol.
L
Ideally,
I
would
hope
that
those
engaging
in
this
Behavior
could
consider
that
in
the
same
sixth
chapter
of
Matthew,
where
Jesus
instructs
Christians
on
how
to
pray
in
verses
9
through
15,
he
offers
a
caution
in
verses.
Five
through
eight,
quoting
from
the
New
Living
Translation
Jesus
says
when
you
pray,
don't
be
like
the
Hypocrites
who
love
to
pray,
pray
publicly
on
street
corners
and
in
the
synagogues
where
everyone
can
see
them.
I
tell
you
the
truth.
That
is
all
the
reward
they
will
ever
get.
L
For
your
father
knows
exactly
what
you
need
even
before
you
ask
him:
absent
they're
voluntarily
ceasing
this
Behavior,
which
clearly
prevents
all
others
in
this
room
from
having
a
moment
of
silence
in
which
to
seek
what
we
each
consider
to
be
sacred
or
not.
Then
I
ask
that
you
address
this
Behavior
consistent
with
how
you
might
address
any
other
disruption
of
Our
Moment
of
Silence.
Thank
you
for
your
time
and
consideration
of
my
concern.
Q
Good
evening,
School
District
officials
on
May,
2nd
I,
spoke
to
Ms
Benjamin
about
our
child
attendance
appeal.
She
stated
our
child
attendance
appeal
was
denied.
While
we
understand
the
school
has
a
strict
enrollment
policy.
We
believe
there
are
extenuating
circumstances
that
weren't
an
exception
on
April
24,
2023,
Philip,
summons
middle
school,
held
a
community
meeting
to
address
concerns
and
issues
regarding
children's
education
and
well-being.
I
was
one
of
the
parents
that
was
concerned
about
our
child's,
not
excelling,
due
to
the
lack
of
resources,
teachers
and
opportunities
they
can't
who
and
cannot
provide.
Q
It
hurts
me
to
listen
to
another's
parents
concerned
about
their
child
that
is
currently
attending
can
Hoy
Elementary.
She
addresses
that
she
is
not
satisfied
with
the
academics,
which,
being
fourth
and
fifth
graders
classes,
are
put
together
due
to
not
having
teachers.
There
are
no
full-time
Fine,
Arts
teachers
and
no
after
school,
which
we
will
need
based
upon
our
research
at
southcarolinareports.com
identifies
that
can
Hawaii
Elementary
is
below
School
average.
Q
It
is
stated
on
the
website
that
below
averages
the
school
performance
is
in
Jeopardy
and
not
meeting
the
criteria
to
ensure
all
students
met
the
profile
FSC
graduate.
This
is
unacceptable.
Our
child
has
been
going
to
higher
education
schools
and
was
is
and
Performing
all
AIDS,
since
he
was
two
years
old
he's
currently
participating
in
orchestra
playing
the
violin
enjoy
Fine
Arts.
Also.
He
has
made
friends
with
Philip
Simmons
by
participating
in
Youth
Soccer
summer
program
at
Philips
women's.
Q
We
strongly
believe
that
this
decision
will
be
hap
will
have
a
negative
consequences
for
our
son
if
he
attends
King
Hawaii
Elementary,
and
we
urge
you
to
take
a
closer
look
at
this
situation.
We
are
currently
requesting
that
the
school
district
reconsider
its
decision
and
allow
our
child
to
enroll
at
Philistines
Elementary.
We
are
committed
to
doing
whatever
it
takes
to
ensure
our
child
receive
the
education
he
requires
and
deserves.
Q
We
understand
that
there
are
many
may
be
policies
and
procedures
in
place,
but
we
hope
that
you
will
consider
the
unique
circumstances
of
our
child's
situation.
We
strongly
believe
that
this
decision
will
be
in
the
best
interest
of
our
child's
academic
and
growth.
Thank
you
for
your
time
and
consideration.
And,
lastly,
if
the
students
in
the
community
are
not
attending
King
Hawaii
or
not
attending
Philip
Simmons,
where
are
they
going
if
their
enrollment
at
King
Hawaii
is
declining?
Thank
you
also,.
R
To
add
to
that,
we
have
a
community
in
kinoy,
which
we
have
we're
the
original
at
one
of
the
some
of
the
original
people
that
lived
there
and
the
things
that
we're
watching
everyone's,
not
opposed
of
it.
But
what
we
are
opposed
of
is
when
you
do,
when
you
put
certain
kids,
are
a
child
in
particular
and
try
to
put
them
inside
of
a
school
where
it's
feeling
you
have
fourth
and
fifth
graders
they're
in
the
same
class
there's
no
after
school.
R
Our
son
has
never
been
to
a
school
that
has
that
low
and
that
bad
of
a
of
a
reputation
and
for
Philip
Simmons
to
to
deny
our
son.
But
at
the
same
time,
all
of
our
kids
that
are
in
that
community
that
are
going
to
Philip
Simmons
on
academic
programs
and
other
programs
and
Timberland
is
all
around.
But
then
I
don't
understand
why
you
guys
want
certain
kids
to
go
to
Canada
and
then
other
kids
go
to
Philip
Simmons.
It's
no
different
everybody's
in
the
community,
we're
all
together.
R
So
we
just
ask
that
you
guys
reconsider
your
your
decisions
on
our
son
in
particular
and
see
that
he
has
a
good
future
with
Phyllis
in
this,
because
we
all
love
to
be
as
full
of
Simmons.
It's
a
very
good
school,
very
supportive
everybody,
and
we
would
love
to
you
that
you
guys
make
your
decisions
wisely.
Thank
you.
Thank
you.
S
Good
evening,
chair,
McQuillen,
Dr,
Dixon
and
board
members,
this
is
a
speech
one
of
your
retiring
teachers
has
given
me
to
read
tonight.
Thank
you
for
giving
me
the
opportunity
to
teach
and
work
with
staff.
Middle
School
is
a
great
place
to
grow.
Ellen
Brown
once
said,
education
is
the
movement
from
Darkness
to
light
I
pray.
The
students
will
keep
moving
toward
the
light
written
by
Angela
Levan.
C
Good
evening,
chair,
McClellan,
Dr,
Dixon
and
board
members
here
is
a
message
that
was
given
to
me
by
a
Berkeley
County
School
District
teacher
to
silence
books
about
injustices
is
to
silence
the
Injustice
itself.
Stories
about
injustices,
spark,
productive
and
important
conversations
which
could
prevent
future
dangers.
Awareness
of
unwanted
situations
must
first
begin
with
conversations.
C
You
cannot
end
an
injustice
without
talking
about
it.
Messages
from
books
such
as
sold
are
ultimately
designed
to
prevent
a
negative
experience
from
happening
to
another
child
by
educating
the
reader
author
Patricia
McCormick
clearly
states
this
in
her
author's
notes,
along
with
resources
to
help
individuals
take
action
to
end
human
trafficking,
as
this
County
grows.
So
does
human
trafficking.
C
Literature
brings
awareness
of
potential
harm
and
helps
others
become
more
understanding
and
empathetic
towards
victims
and
survivors,
and
in
this
case
of
sexual
crimes,
literature
is
one
way
to
help
a
student
identify
what
is
currently
happening
or
has
happened
to
them.
Many
victims
do
not
even
know
they
are
being
abused
or
are
too
afraid
to
speak
up,
often
students
who
are
the
victims
of
sexual
abuse,
first
report
to
a
trusted
adult
this
includes
Educators,
who
are
mandated
reporters
of
any
suspected
abuse.
C
Some
are
insinuating
that
educators
are
using
books
to
stimulate
erotic
behaviors.
Some
are
insinuating.
The
educators
are
using
books
to
disseminate
porn
and
to
sexualize
and
groom
children.
These
insinuations
demonstrate
the
lack
of
understanding
and
the
lack
of
communication
from
individuals
who
continue
to
falsely
vilify
educators.
C
These
insinuations
are
misleading
and
are
irresponsible
Behavior.
These
insinuations
also
negatively
impact
this
very
District's
ability
to
successfully
recruit
retain
quality.
Educators
procedures
should
always
be
followed
and
lines
of
communications,
open,
no
educator
or
School
leader
should
first
hear
of
a
parent's
concern
on
social
media.
C
If
a
parent
or
Guardian
expects
active
communication
from
teachers,
then
why
can't
teachers
expect
the
same
to
highlight
what
a
speaker
stated
at
the
last
meeting?
Parents
should
have
options.
Parents
do
there
is
a
process
to
follow
if
a
parent
chooses
to
prevent
their
child
from
reading
a
certain
book.
If
you
have
concerns
about
a
book,
discuss
it
with
the
teacher
or
the
librarian
before,
falsely
accusing
them
of
being
obscene,
thank
you.
T
Good
evening
board
I'm
Kat
Lowe
I
teach
at
Hanahan
High,
School
and
I'm.
The
bcea
president
Berkeley
County
Education
Association,
we're
very
encouraged
by
the
discussions
and
the
budget
workshops
being
competitive
matters,
and
we
need
to
be
able
to
attract
as
many
teachers
and
staff
as
we
possibly
can.
T
As
a
kid
I
was
trained
to
be
a
lifeguard.
It
sounds
like
a
fun
job,
but
it's
actually
pretty
scary.
Once
you
do
a
saver
too,
you
recognize
like
it's
not
going
to
be
just
a
suntan.
T
That's
so
that
you
can
help
and
can
continue
to
help,
and
we
want
to
be
able
to
do
that
for
our
students.
We
want
to
be
able
to
keep
helping
them
and
to
do
that,
you
must
help
us,
and
so,
while
you're
having
those
discussions,
please
keep
that
in
mind
being
competitive
matters
and
helping
us
matters
so
that
we
can
help
the
children.
T
The
last
lesson,
I
would
say,
is
when
I
learned
as
a
kid
when
solving
business
problems,
that's
what
my
dad
used
to
say
that
you
get
good,
cheap
or
fast.
Those
are
the
three
things
you
get
to
pick
two
and
forget
about
the
other
right.
If
it's
good
and
it's
cheap
well,
it's
not
going
to
be
fast
and
if
it's
cheap
and
fast
it's
not
going
to
be
good,
but
it's
fast
and
it's
good
man,
it's
just
not
going
to
be
cheap,
and
so
in
our
crisis
we
can't
afford
to
wait.
T
D
D
He
was
gracious
enough
to
come
directly
to
the
board
and
explain
his
reasons
for
leaving
the
profession.
They
were
numerous,
but
Chief
among
them
were
low
pay
and
a
lack
of
autonomy.
Six
years
after
my
friend
quit
teaching,
there
remained
some
very
good
reasons
to
leave
the
profession
today.
Added
to
that
Litany
of
struggles
in
the
past
year
is
a
Neo
mccarthyite
push
to
surveil
harass
and
intimidate
teachers
by
self-appointed
speech
police.
D
You
heard
from
a
handful
of
people
at
your
last
meeting
who
were
upset
about
the
assignment
of
this
book
sold
by
Patricia
McCormick.
It's
a
young
adult
novel
about
human
trafficking.
They
called
it
pornographic
and
obscene
and
said
that
a
person
who
gave
it
to
a
teenager
could
be
arrested
for
Distributing
obscene
material
to
minors.
D
You
should
know
that
the
advocates
for
book
bands
use
the
same
playbook
in
every
state,
county
and
School
District
that
go
in
Virginia
Beach.
Last
year,
the
moms
for
Liberty
crowd
called
the
superintendent
of
schools,
a
porn
Peddler
because
he
refused
to
remove
books,
including
this
one
from
schools
there.
It
should
sound
familiar
to
you
in
Texas,
Florida,
Idaho
and
Pennsylvania
activists
read
the
same
page
of
this
book,
plucked
out
of
context
and
demanded
censorship.
D
D
It's
a
quick,
read:
Patricia
McCormick,
the
author
wrote
last
week
in
the
New
York
Times
about
the
jindup
controversy
surrounding
this
book
sold
and
about
why
she
and
others,
myself
included,
are
defending
its
inclusion
in
High
School
courses,
She
Wrote,
to
ban
this
book
is
disrespectful
to
the
teenagers
who
want
and
in
some
cases,
need
to
read
it.
I've
visited
classrooms
and
juvenile
detention
centers
all
over
the
country.
D
Since
this
book
came
out
in
2006
at
nearly
all
the
visits,
students
came
forward
to
say
that
they
had
been
sexually
abused
or
are
being
sexually
abused
and
that
seeing
their
experience
rendered
in
a
book.
Finally,
emboldened
them
to
say
so,
I
always
brace
for
a
nervous
or
inappropriate
reaction
from
the
other
children
in
the
classroom.
I
wait
for
someone
to
laugh
or
scoff
or
gasp,
and
they
never
do.
They
unfailingly
treat
such
painful
Revelations
with
respect
and
empathy.
D
Meanwhile,
their
teachers
step
in
to
provide
help
for
a
problem
they
may
not
have
otherwise
known
about
this-
is
the
work
of
teaching
it's
emotionally
difficult
and
our
teachers
work
with
our
kids
at
a
time
when
many
of
them
have
heavy
burdens
on
their
hearts
and
Minds
I'm
here
tonight,
simply
asking
that
you
not
make
that
job
harder
than
it
needs
to
be,
don't
give
them
to
the
moms
for
Liberty,
defend
the
freedom
to
read.
Thank
you.

We
have
a
recommendation
from
committee.
No
second
is
required.
Is
there
any
discussion?
Hearing
none
I'll
call
the
question
all
in
favor,
please
respond
by
saying
aye
aye
any
opposed
the
eyes
of
it.
Mr
chairman.
That
concludes
my
report.
Thank
you,
Mr
Ramsey.
The
next
item
on
the
agenda
is
the
superintendent's
report
to
Dr
Dixon.
P
All
right,
thank
you
board,
chair
McQuillen,
our
esteemed
board
members
and
our
ladies
and
gentlemen
of
Berkeley.
County
just
have
a
few
announcements
in
form
of
a
report
today
or
just
notes.
Always
I
always
like
to
thank
our
teacher
Forum.
It's
good
to
see
you
here,
Miss
Cynthia,
Zimmerman
from
Philip
Simmons
Elementary,
and
we
have
Theresa
Bogarts
as
well
as
always
Taryn
Davis,
Stephanie
Williams,
and
then
we
had
our
newly
elected,
but
she
is
I,
think
she's
going
now
we
have
Kaden
giddens.
P
Last
week
we
did
recognize
teacher
appreciation
week
and
many
of
our
schools,
and
so
we
just
wanted
to
reiterate
that
we,
if
you
haven't,
had
that
opportunity
to
thank
a
teacher
just
stop
by
send
them
an
email
drop
them.
A
note
say
thank
you
for
all
of
your
hard
work
and
everything
they
do
for
us
every
day
this
month,
as
well,
is
mental
health
awareness
month,
and
so
we
want
people
to
be
cognizant
of
your
mental
health
and
make
sure
you're
taking
care
of
yourself.
I.
P
Think
I
heard
that
a
little
earlier
take
care
of
yourself
and
make
sure
that
you
are
in
good.
You
know
good
mental
health,
a
good
place,
eocs
and
AP
exams
are
now
in
full
swing.
It's
the
end
of
the
year.
Last
week
we
finished
South
Carolina
ready
and
our
state
testing
in
our
elementary
and
middle
schools,
and
now
in
high
schools
and
some
middle.
You
have
end,
of
course,
exams,
and
you
also
have
AP
exams.
So
good
luck
to
all
of
the
students
in
Berkeley
County
taking
those
exams.
P
Tomorrow
we
recognize
all
of
our
first
year,
teachers
at
Westview,
Middle
School
at
five
o'clock.
P.M
at
for
our
pride
celebrations,
so
if
you
are
a
first
year
teacher,
we
look
forward
to
recognizing
and
celebrating
you
made
it
almost
you're
almost
there.
You
have
a
little
bit
more
time,
but
you've
made
it
through
a
year
and
we
are
so
thankful
for
you
and
we
look
forward
to
your
second
year
and
Beyond
here
in
Berkeley
County.
P
We
also
want
to
congratulate
I,
see
this
entire
Ramsey,
but
I
don't
think
the
the
bus
driver
is
here,
but
we
need
to
get
her
out
here.
We
had
they
participated
in
the
South
Carolina
Association
of
transportations,
bus
rodeo
didn't
even
know
they
had
one,
but
there
was
a
bus
rodeo
in
Colombia
and
we
talked
about
it
was
a
very
rigorous
rodeo
and
we
have
a
first
place
state
champion
that
is
going
to
an
all-expense
paid
Nationals
competition.
P
And
weave
and
Bob
and
stop
without
a
cup
of
water
spilling
you
know
in
their
buses
so
and
to
get
first
place
in
the
state.
We
have
some
bus
drivers
that
are
committed
to
getting
your
students
to
and
from
school
very
safe.
So
thank
you
and
congratulations
and
we
look
forward
to
the
national
competition.
Graduation
season
is
upon
us.
This
Friday
we
start
off
and
kick
it
off
with
Cross
High,
School
I'm,
pretty
sure.
P
That's
it
at
6
p.m,
I'll
be
at
every
one
of
them,
but
after
on
Saturday
at
11
A.M
we
have
Berkeley
Middle
College,
and
then
you
can
check
online
to
get
the
rest
of
the
dates
and,
as
always,
just
to
end
it
out.
P
Berkeley
County
is
committed
to
high
quality
teaching
and
learning
it's
a
great
place
to
work,
a
great
place
to
learn
a
great
place
to
live,
and
we
thank
everybody
for
your
your
commitment,
your
trust
in
us,
and
we
look
forward
to
continuing
to
work
to
together
to
ensure
that
we
provide
top-notch
teaching
and
learning
to
all
of
our
students
in
a
great
workplace
for
all
of
our
employees.
So
thank
you.
Mr
chair.
Thank.
