Welcome back to the worldwide leader of all things: hanahan, I'm macy ducker, and it's friday april 1st and you're watching hawkside view. In just one day hannah will host our big talent, show here's jessie one more.

Thanks missy, I know you just said the talent show is tomorrow, but april fools we got y'all. The talent show has been postponed till may. Here's, mr vervontes one more.

So we had a lot of untapped talent that we wanted to include and a lot of good ideas dropped on our desk and we decided, if we're bringing back the talent show, we got to do it right, so we're postponing it to may.

Just to be clear, the talent show is expected to be sometime in may, we'll keep you updated throughout the weeks thanks. Mr von s, it was a bummer that the talent show was postponed, but it gives us more time to prepare back to macy in the studio.

Thanks jessio speaking of talent, we told you our winning guard team is competing in the championships. This was their first year back at championships since covent. They travel up to catawba high school and placed fifth at a night congrats on a job. Well done.

Last week, wild bill gave us his spring weather forecast this week, he's going to tell us about this weekend.

Yay-Haw thanks wild bell I'll bring my umbrella. Do you have your phone's eye in class? You may want to think again. Canyon is starting to enforce the district policy about cell phones in class. Some students are struggling with their grades due to being distracted by the cell phones.

The district wants to remind all students, since they have chromebooks. There is no need for them to have phones out during class.

They also want to remind everyone that teachers are allowed by the district to take any phone for any reason it might be april fool's day, but march madness is coming down to the wire sooner council's march. Madness charity drive to benefit my sister's house ends today.

The top two classes, with the most donations will be receiving a pizza party right now. Mr hines second block class has a lead over coach mitchell's. Thank you all for donating from sharing donations. Let's talk about. Hey handy hand, I'm jackson zeron here with your weekly update of all things, hawk sports on the agenda. For this week we look at our boys baseball team. They competed on monday against battery creek high school kwame parker hit a home run, while landon gomes and mason brady drove in two runs. Each our hawks came out on top 15-0.

The volleyball team was also in action on monday, competing against lucy beckham, but sadly fell short, losing three to one. Both of our soccer teams were in action. This week on tuesday, the boys took on battery creek at home. Mario rodriguez passes it to blake morrows for the goal to put the hawks up 2-0 the boys came out on top winning 3-0.

The girls also took on battery creek on tuesday. Emily pohl saves the ball to keep the hawks in the game. The girls sadly fall short losing three to zero. That's the week that was now. Let's take a look at our upcoming events.

The boys team will be playing on tuesday at 7, 30 against academic magnet at home and they'll be taking the bishops on thursday at 7 30. At bishop england, moving over to our girls soccer team on tuesday they play at home against academic magnet on thursday at 6 pm at bishop england and on friday, at 6 pm against st john's at home. Now for our softball team, they play on tuesday at 6 p.m, at home, against oceanside and on friday, at 6 pm at oceanside against oceanside.

Our track team will be traveling to the cane bay invitational saturday at 9 00 a.m. At cane bay, high school, our baseball team will be playing on monday at 5 p.m. Against madison high school at home on tuesday they will play against oceanside at home at 6 pm. Then they will play on friday at 6 pm against oceanside at oceanside. Our tennis team will be playing against somerville at collins park on wednesday at 4 30 and again on thursday, at 4 30 against stratford high at collins park.

Our golf team travels to the city of charleston municipal golf course on thursday at 4 p.m, against james island high school. That's all the sports we have for this week, hawks now back to macy in the studio.
