we
will
have
a
special
place
for
you
on
the
agenda,
so
you
do
not
have
to
sign
up
under

Okay,
thank.

we

to
be
put

G
Our
music
programs
have
been
really
active
throughout
the
winter
and
honoring
them
is
a
perfect
way
to
wrap
up
music
in
our
school's
appreciation
month,
which
was
March
pictured.
Here
we
have
the
South

for
this
year's
success
at
one
of
our
Junior
meetings.
G
C
A
Okay
or
any
of
you
on
the
swimming
team
wrestling
is
interesting.
Well
we're
going
through
them
here:
first:
basketball:
okay,
since
only
two
of
you
here.
Why
don't
you
just
stand
up
and
introduce
yourself
and
I'd
like
for
you
to
have
your
photograph
taken
by
Miss
bye-bye.
I
My
name
is
Ruth,
buys
and
I
was
inside
of
the
region.
Nine
honors
fan
this
year.
I
A
A
Thank
you,
you
you're
still
part
of
the
team,
my
major
part
or
let's
go
down
and
stand
behind
these
recently.
D
D
E
K
C
K
That
tells
you
really
all
you
need
to
know
about.
Peter
shampoo
Potomac
is
blessed
to
have
many
caring
Educators.
A
true
example
of
that
is
misenchanted
team
has
been
with
Potomac
for
the
last
23
years
and
she
has
spent
that
time
working
for
the
betterment
of
art
schools
every
single
day
as
a
classroom,
teacher
she's
excelled
at
bringing
out
the
best
in
every
student
and
as
an
interventionist.
Now
she
works
tirelessly
to
help
students
reach
their
absolute
Max
potential
through
a
warm
smile
or
a
listening
ear.
Mrs
shanholz
makes
everyone
feel
welcome.
K
Epidemic
I
can
tell
you
that
for
experience,
she
embraced
me
with
open
arms
and
she's
just
a
fantastic,
fantastic
person.
She
zooms
kindness
and
warmth,
and
concern
for
everyone.
She
speaks
to
and
always
leaves
people
happier
than
when
she
found
them.
She's
learned
a
ton
about
the
sap
process
and
has
become
an
invaluable
member
of
the
Student
Assistance
team.
She
tackles
any
project
or
assignment
with
the
utmost
professionalism
and
tactic.
K
It's
a
privilege
to
be
able
to
stand
here
and
highlight
that
you
wonderful
person,
a
testament
to
Mrs
shambles,
as
I
said,
I
lost
track
of
how
many
people
are
here.
I
couldn't
tell
you
now.
It's
got
to
be
in
between.
She
is
an
asset
with
Potomac
and
we
are
extremely
grateful
as
part
of
the
team
and
I
think
that
no
one
more
deserves.
F
I
have
the
privilege
of
speaking
with
one
of
your
colleagues
and
channels
and
I
have
to
say
the
relationships
that
you
have
built
over
the
years,
not
just
with
your
colleagues,
but
also
with
your
students
exudes,
and
it
makes
me
excited
just
hearing
about
the
various
things
that
you'll
be
able
to
do
and
accomplish,
and
I
Just
Want
to
Thank
You
from
all
of
us
here
on
the
board.
Thank
you
for
your
time,
your
energy
and
your
heart
that
you
are
putting
into
this.
Thank
you.
So
much.
D
D
K
Mrs
English
fifth
grade
teacher
and
Steve
Giovanni
is
our
librarian.
We've
got
Miss
Miller
Another
interventionist,
we've
got
Miss
landsberger
an
exceptional
needs,
specialist
we've
got
Mrs
comer
or
one
of
our
assistant
principals
Miss
lever.
Fifth
grade
food.
Jerks
we've
got
Mrs
Nelson,
our
gifted
teacher
got
Mr
mayor's
Ohio
in
the
back
there.
K
Of
course,
Dr
Alfonso
still
counts.
So.
C
A
C
D
K
D
A
F
A
You
second,
okay,
they've,
actually
been
moved
the
second.
What
is
in
favor
of
the
consent
agenda
with
6.6
and
6.10,
a
minute
signifiers
saying:
aye,
aye,
where's,
nay,
Nation
passes
okay,.
A
Discussing
item
6.6
and
6.7,
we
still
have
a
motion
on
the
floor
to
pass
the
consent
agenda.
All
those
in
favor
of
the
consent,
agenda,
6.6
and
6.10
signify.
The
saying
aye
aye
first
name
is
four
to
zero:
okay,
Mr
Miller.
J
Yes,
I
I'm
7.1
is
a
yearly
requirement
by
the
board.
It
is
the
self-appraisal
survey
and
I
just
wanted
to
remind
everyone
that
that
this
is
coming.
You're
gonna
have
to
You'll
fill
this
out.
J
When
your
responses
are
completed,
we
send
those
to
the
state
we'll
get
feedback
on
that,
and
last
year
we
were
a
little
bit
behind
the
eight
ball
on
on
that
we
didn't
get
that
completed
until
I
know.
It
was
after
July
1,
because
I
was
hoping
to
that.
But
this
year
we'll
we'll
work
on
that
and
I
believe
is
that
was
that
included
in
there.
F
J
Have
a
copy
of
what
that
was
that
was
included
in
your
packets,
so
really
there's
not
really
much
to
report
there
other
than
this
is
something
that
should
be
taken
care
of
a
year
late
about
this
time.
So
should.
F
J
J
Let
me
know
or
just
know
and
we'll
get
in
touch
with
people
at
the
state
in
general.
What's
going
on
with
the
survey.
A
Correct
Mr
Stevens
for
the
bond
project
with
debate
that.
J
We've
we've
been
discussing
the
the
bond
project
updates.
We
have
this
as
a
standing
item
on
our
the
board
agenda
and
this
particular
time
we
had
discussed
about
possibly
having
Architects
here
and
Engineers
here
to
talk
about
our
our
progress.
There's
you
know
it's
a
hurry
up
and
wait
right
now
we're
still
scheduling,
surveys
and
and
completing
calendar
of
of
what
projected
Scopes
completion
are
going
to
be.
J
What
I
have
for
you
tonight
is
the
rough,
the
very
first
list
of
projected
start
and
finish
dates
for
projects
for
you
to
take
a
look
at
these
were
provided
to
to
me
today.
We've
been
working
on
these
for
quite
a
while,
with
with
the
Architects
from
from
McKinley,
and
so
I
wanted
to
provide
each
of
you
with
a
with
a
page
and
I
will
apologize.
This
originally
prints
on,
like
a
giant
24
inch
paper.
J
You
we
can
do
that,
but
you
had
talked
to
me
about
waiting
until
May
waiting
a
month
to
be
able
to
do
that,
which
I
would
probably
advise
us
to
be
able
to
do
that.
That
gives
us
time
to
get
some
surveys
and
some
work
done
here
over
spring
break
instead
of
rolling
back
in
on
the
18th
and
having
to
give
an
update
without
much
more
than
what
you
have
in
front
of
you.
We
can
probably
give
more
in
May.
J
Yeah,
do
you
look
forward
to
a
more
in-person
update
on
on
things
at
the
first
meeting
in
May.
D
A
One
other
thing
the
board
will
be
meeting
in
that
first
week
of
May
it'll
be
a
short
meeting.
It'll
be
right
after
the
bond
says:
I
want
to
commend
the
staff
of
Mr
Stevens
Mr
butts,
particularly
for
the
presentation
we
spent
today.
C
A
Moody's
and
the
staff
presented
today
a
PowerPoint
presentation,
this
long
and
I
set
in,
and
it's
a
very
good,
it's
very
informative
to
watch
as
well
as
to
see
the
thing
is
what
you're
trying
to
do
is
get
your
rating
at
a
rate,
that's
positive
for
the
taxpayers
of
the
county.
This
is
where
you
set
the
percentage
rate
for
your
debt
when
they
bonds
and
everything.
So
they
did
a
good
job.
F
A
The
staff
will
receive
a
hard
copy
of
that
and
I'm
sure,
with
the
public
needs
to
see
if
we'll
post,
that
on
our
website
as
well,
absolutely
very,
very
informative.
You
know
very
good
job
surviving
that
program.
F
A
F
I
apologize
just
a
question:
do
we
have
the
scope
of
work
lined
out
yet,
as
far
as
what
specifically
the
contractor
is
going
to
be
doing
versus
what
we
might
be
able
to
try
and
do
ourselves
as
a
board
or
as
a.
F
J
Were
we
were
going
to
try
to
prepare
to
do
that
today,
but
there
wasn't
really
a
lot
of
progress
as
as
far
as
the
work
part
of
it.
So
to
get
them
here
to
do
a
full
out.
Presentation
is
probably
where
we
can
also
talk
about
progress
in
a
variety
of
things.
J
A
little
bit
later
would
be
better
okay.
So
that's
why
we
chose
to
wait
until
the
First
Amendment.
A
Okay
and
once
again,
the
sale
of
the
bonds
is
tentatively
set
for
the
fourth
of
May
and
there
will
be
a
a
board
meeting
scheduled
that
day,
where
it's
doing
the
the
sale
and
it'll
be
a
brief
meeting.
But
you'll
have
to
have
that.
So
I
think
this
pencil
into
portrait
made
from
their
calendars
and
it'll
be
around
12
12,
30
I.
Think
in
the
afternoon.
F
A
Long
as
we
have
three
people
present,
the
rest
can
be
via
telephone.
A
A
Okay,
we're
moving
on
to
action
items
and
we
have
a
delegation,
Miss
change
from
Martinsburg,
high
school
and
and
and
impacted
parents.
F
President
Murphy
board
members
and
Mr
Stevens
thank
you
for
having
us
here
tonight
to
talk
a
little
bit
about
our
project.
We
are
hoping
to
be
able
to
travel
to
Finland
as
part
of
an
educational
program.
F
It
is
through
the
United
States
Embassy
at
Helsinki
Midland
and
a
collaboration
with
him
because
secondary
school
and
the
program
is
called
the
transatlantic
classroom
program.
Only
12
schools
in
the
United
States
were
chosen
to
participate
and
we
were
one
of
them
for
our
program.
You
can
see
this
was
the
kickoff
event
at
the
embassy
in
Finland.
The
era
was
pointing
to
our
partner
teacher
Mari
Lomi.
She
is
the
finished
teacher
working
with
her
students
on
the
Finish
end,
and
then
there
is
a
map
of
Finland,
so
we
can
see.
F
Janamina
Finland
is
in
the
very
lower
right
hand,
corner,
and
if
we
were
able
to
travel
to
Finland,
that's
where
we
would
go.
Those
are
the
students
that
we're
working
with
are
from
that
town,
the
goals
of
this
transatlantic
program.
They
are,
four
of
them.
First,
to
promote
development
of
international
skills
and
language
skills,
promote
storage
and
theme.
The
community's
international
understanding
of
complex
schedulable
issues
develop
teaching
and
the
school
community
and
to
increase
Mutual
understanding
between
the
countries
and
bring
first-hand
information
about
the
United,
States
and
Finland
to
our
students.
F
F
One
group
is
working
on
the
response
to
the
covet
pandemic
and
how
the
United
States
versus
Finland
chose
to
respond.
The
second
group
is
working
on
Urban
Development
and
what
that
looks
like
in
the
United
States
versus
Finland.
The
third
group
is
working
on
education
in
the
fourth
group
is
working
on
culture.
F
F
Camino
Finland
is
a
small
town
in
the
southern
region
of
Finland.
It
is
home
to
one
of
Google's
five
headquarters:
five
European
headquarters,
it's
about
the
same
size
as
Martinsburg
a
little
bit
over
19
000
people,
and
it
is
about
90
miles
away
from
the
capital
of
finland's
Helsinki.
Nine
out
of
ten
bins
speak
English,
which
is
super
great.
If
we
were
able
to
travel
a
bit,
we
do
not
have
any
communication
words.
The
students
that
we
are
working
with,
also
speak.
F
English
they've
started
learning
English
as
early
as
first
grade,
and
they
are
hoping
to
improve
their
English
skills
while
teaching
us
a
little
bit
of
finish
along
the
way.
If
you
didn't
know,
Finland
is
the
happiest
country
in
the
world
it,
according
to
the
world.
Happiness
report
has
been
number
one
for
I.
Think
the
last
six
years
according
to
the
global
Health
security
index
at
Finland,
as
that
is
at
number
three,
they
take
Health
pretty
seriously
and
the
Global
Peace
Index
puts
Finland
as
the
14th
safest
country
in
the
world.
F
If
our
students
were
to
get
to
travel,
we
would
be
meeting
some
of
their
21st
century
skills
in
our
College
and
Career
Readiness
skills
that
are
listed
by
the
West
Virginia
Department
of
Education,
one
of
our
skills
and
College
and
Career
Readiness
talks
about
societal
and
cultural
biases
observations
and
inferences
of
the
natural
world.
Our
21st
century
skills,
like
critical
thinking
and
communication,
will
be
able
to
meet
all
of
those
standards
by
participating
in
this
project.
F
Some
of
the
logistics
that
we've
worked
out
so
far
is
the
the
students
in
Finland
are
planning
to
travel
here
through
the
U.S
embassy.
They
received
a
grant
to
pay
for
the
travel
for
the
Finnish
students
to
America,
while
they're
here
they're
going
to
continue
working
on
their
projects
into
their
presentations.
They'll
attends
to
school
with
us,
so
they
can
see
how
our
education
system
works.
F
One
of
the
things
that
we
are
interested
in
is
pursuing
a
trip
to
Finland.
We
have
nine
American
students,
myself
as
the
teacher,
and
then
we
do
have
another
teacher,
Casey
weisel,
who
has
agreed
to
go
as
a
chaperone.
If
the
board
and
Mr
Stevens
approves
us
to
travel,
some
of
the
things
that
we've
done,
I've
sent
out
a
permission,
slip
to
parents
and
all
of
them
indicated
that
they
do
wish
for
their
child
to
travel
to
Finland.
F
F
F
If
we
travel
our
proposed
travel
dates
are
August
9th
through
the
18th.
We
would
take
flights
in
and
out
of,
BWI
I
looked
up
those
flights
for
roughly
11
hours
about
eleven
hundred
dollars
each
to
get
there.
While
we
were
there.
Our
primary
goal
is
to
go
to
school
with
the
fins
and
experience
their
education
system
and
be
able
to
bring
that
information
back
here
to
try
to
improve.
Make
adjustments
incorporate
some
Global
ideas
into
our
own
education
system.
F
I
just
spoke
with
the
Finnish
teacher
Miss
Lonnie
this
week,
and
she
said
that
if
we
were
able
to
go,
she
would
schedule
some
presentations
for
us
to
do
to
their
Board
of
Education
as
well,
and
then
we
also
wanted
to
take
just
a
little
bit
of
time,
two
or
three
days
to
explore
the
biodiversity
and
the
nature
trails
that
Finland
has
to
offer.
Don't
when.
F
Come
here,
they're
coming
October
13th
through
the
21st
they've
already
booked
their
flights,
and
while
they
are
here,
they
plan
to
attend
school
with
us
for
a
few
days
we're
talking
about
trying
to
organize
a
trip
to
Harper's
Ferry.
So
they
can
see
some
of
West
Virginia's
history
while
they're
here,
and
they
would
like
to
plan
an
independent
trip
to
New
York
City
to
see
a
Broadway
play.
That's
something
that
they
were
very
interested
in.
Doing
I
do
have
some
parents
and
students
here
with
me
this
evening.
L
Hello
and
thank
you
for
this
opportunity,
I
can't
stress
that
enough.
Some
of
you
may
have
met
my
child
Kara.
She
is
I
think
she
spoke
to
maybe
one
or
two
of
you
sometime
last
month,
she's
very
excited
about
this
opportunity,
so
just
as
a
parent
I
want
to
say
that
I'm
very
reluctant
to
send
my
child
into
any
foreign
country,
where
I'm
not
going
to
be
there
without
thoroughly
checking
it
out.
L
You
know:
I
I,
work
for
government
contractors,
as
many
of
us
do
so
I'm
very
tied
into
the
part
of
the
state
and
as
as
you
mentioned
at
as
a
four
o'clock,
it's
still,
this
still
is
showing
blue,
which
is
the
lowest
the
lowest
rank.
L
My
thought
is
that
Russia
is
very
much
focused,
West
and
not
East,
but
just
as
a
parent
I
am
I'm
very
comfortable
with
the
opportunity
and
I
think
that
the
the
risk
versus
benefit
is
is
very
much
on
the
benefit
side
what
they
can
take
out
of
it.
There
is
no
better
education
than
travel,
so
that's!
That's
really.
All
I
wanted
to
say
and
I
appreciate
your
time.
Yeah
I
ask
you.
A
F
Okay,
there
were
nine
parents
who
filled
out
the
permission
form
in
seven
of
the
nine
so
that
they
would
be
okay,
housing
with
the
finished
students.
I
have
looked
into
housing
options
in
hamina
and
they
have
some
apartments
for
rent
for
short-term
rentals,
two-bedroom
one-bathroom
apartments.
There
are
three
of
them
in
the
same
building.
It
would
house
12
of
us
if
we
went
the
issue
that
I'm
having
was
trying
to
decide.
If
that
would
be
a
place
that
we
could
stay
is
that
we
only
have
two
male
students
and
I.
F
L
L
F
Are
some
hotels
but
the
hotels
are?
It
would
be
about
two
thousand
dollars
for
the
course
of
our
state
for
one
apartment,
so
there's
some
there's
some
cabins
I
took
a
look
at
those
and
said
those.
We
cannot
be
the
cabins
they're
too
far
outside
of
City
islands.
The
apartments
are
right
in
the
city,
and
so
we
could
walk
wherever
we
need
it
to
go,
including
to
their
school.
F
The
hotel
is
about
two
miles
outside
of
the
city,
so
then
we
would
need
to
rent
a
car
too.
On
top
of
the
increased
cost
of
lodging.
M
Hello,
thank
you
for
your
time.
Some
of
you,
as
my
mother
said,
spoken
a
little
bit
about
this
too
before
but
I'm
willing
to
speak
about
it
again
because
I'm
very
passionate
about
this
opportunity.
I
would
say
that
number
one.
Overall.
M
Obviously,
it's
going
to
be
a
fun
experience
which
isn't
the
most
important
factor,
but
it's
definitely
an
added
on
plus
and
having
a
good
experience
with.
Travel
is
very
important
because
learning
through
travel
and
through
experience
is
honestly
one
of
the
best
ways
to
learn.
Many
people
learn
through
experience
and
just
visual
learning
and
enrichment
of
the
culture
in
general.
Now
I've
been
on
a
couple
trips
before,
but
they
were
EF
Tours.
M
However,
even
on
es4s,
which
weren't
focused
around
education,
those
were
more
focused
on
just
seeing
different
things,
but
even
through
those
I
learned,
so
much
and
I
took
so
much
out
of
it
and
I
was
able
to
apply
things
that
I
learned
from
school
into
what
I
was
seeing
while
I
was
there
and
being
able
to
put
them
together,
and
it
was
really
eye-opening
to
just
be
able
to
connect
things
and
see
a
difference
between
structures
and
culture,
and
just
everything
around
me
that
was
different.
M
I
was
able
to
learn
a
lot
while
I
was
there
and
I
truthfully
feel
as
though
I
was
able
to
grow
as
a
person
just
seeing
things
from
a
different
perspective.
Seeing
the
differences
in
life
and
I
think
that
going
to
Finland
in
particular
would
be
a
very
good
experience,
because
a
lot
of
the
times
people
don't
go
too
Finland
anywhere
near
Finland.
M
Think
that
would
be
really
beneficial
to
see
a
different
side
of
things
and
really
have
an
opportunity
to
learn
a
lot
and
I
believe
truthfully
that
all
of
the
students
that
go
would
be
able
to
come
back
and
discuss
the
differences
in
life
and
really
would
learn
a
lot
they
wouldn't
get,
or
they
would
get
to
see
things
that
they
wouldn't
ordinarily
get
to
see,
especially
because
Martinsburg
itself
has
plenty
of
history.
But
the
history
is
very
much
different
in
so
many
aspects
you
get
to
see.
M
You'd
even
get
to
learn
a
new
sport
and
sports
are
a
great
way
for
people
to
come
together.
They
have
one
sport
I
believe
it
is
a
form
of
Finnish,
baseball
and
I
believe
that
would
be
super
cool
to
be
able
to
take
back
here
and
then
try
that
out,
even
after
speaking
to
people,
I've
learned
differences
between
our
school
system.
Speaking
to
the
children
in
Finland
already,
because
we've
already
had
a
few
meetings,
we
even
learned
a
difference
in
the
time
zone
and
how
that
changed.
M
When
the
clock
moved
ahead
and
just
speaking
to
them
briefly,
they've
already
taught
me
so
so
much
about
the
differences
that
they
have,
the
different
things
that
they've
learned
and
all
those
sorts
of
things
they
already
have.
Provided
me,
a
very
different
outlook
on
life
and
I
would
love
to
push
that
further
if
I
get
the
opportunity
to
travel,
because
I
really
do
think
that
it
would
be
a
very
good
experience
and
very
worth
the
time
and
money
and
effort
to
put
into
it.
M
I
think
it
would
be
good
to
learn
New
Perspectives
on
the
world
and
how
people
live
and
think
and
see
General
Insight
on
their
day-to-day
life
learning.
Through
experience,
as
I
said,
it's
one
of
the
best
ways
to
learn
it's
through
exposure.
You
can
talk
about
something
all
you
want,
but
people
can
interpret
it
differently
and
until
you're
truly
there
and
can
see
it
you're
not
going
to
fully
grasp
what
it
is
that
you
are
learning
about
and
there's
plenty
of
experiences
that
even
just
talking
to
people
from
Finland.
M
If
we
don't
go,
it's
maybe
something
that
they
can't
explain,
because
it's
something
that
they're
used
to
they
don't
even
think
of
telling
us,
because
it's
overlooked,
it's
just
normal
for
them
and
there's
plenty
of
stuff
here,
that's
normal
to
us
that
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
tell
them
and
just
being
able
to
see
it.
We
grasp
so
much
more
and
I
think.
Overall,
it
would
just
be
very
beneficial
to
travel
to
Finland
if
we
get
approval
and
I
think
it
would
be
all
very
worthwhile.
Thank
you.
I
I
One
thing
that
I
have
always
struggled
with
is
expanded,
myself,
socially
and
getting
out
of
what
I
consider
my
normal,
and
so
when
this
trip
arose,
I
decided
to
drop
in
and
to
see
where
I
could
benefit.
Personally
from
it,
I
believe
that
if
there
is
something
different
than
our
normal,
we
should
explore
it
and
see
more
of
it,
and,
talking
to
my
finished
Partners
has
already
shown
me
so
many
wonderful
things
I
would
have
never
found
out
if
I
never
stepped
out
and
decided
to
talk
to
them.
I
I
know
safety
is
a
big
issue
of
what
we're
concerned
about
about
traveling
to
Finland,
but
in
all
honesty,
I
have
never
felt
any
safer,
with
Miss
Haynes
herself
and
our
other
teachers,
and
by
talking
to
our
partners
even
for
a
few
weeks
so
far,
they
are
also
very
safe,
very
compared
and
they
have
made.
All
of
us
feel
very
welcome.
As
Kara
said.
I
Are
you
talking
to
my
partners,
I've
already
learned
so
many
new
things
that
I
can
apply,
whether
it's
just
for
fun
or
if
it's
like
a
trick
to
help
me
study
better
in
school.
I.
Think
us
going
would
benefit
all
of
us,
whether
it
be
socially
or
educational,
wise
or
just
for
an
experience,
as
I'm
saying
said,
there's
only
12
schools
that
get
to
go
and
do
this,
and
she
only
should
like
chose
nine
of
us.
That
is
a
big
deal,
and
that's
not
a
thing
that
a
lot
of
us
can
do
so.
I.
F
Participating
in
this
program
and
to
further
emphasize
there's
a
difference
between
knowing
the
facts
and
truly
experiencing.
F
Not
as
long
but
to
know
that
is
about
slightly
smaller
than
Texas,
that's
a
huge
different
perception
that
you
have
so
I
could
be
told
like
certain
information
from
them
you
and
I
had
with
my
partner,
but
that
doesn't
mean
I
can
fully
comprehend
it.
So
I
feel
like
by
interacting
with
them.
Personally
I
can
know
the
differences
between
my
culture
and
the
culture
that
they
are
experiencing
and
how
I
can
use
that
information
to
fix
things
in
my
own
life,
like
my
own
problems,
my
own
organizations
that
I
participated.
F
So
while
we
were
in
our
meetings
already,
they
expose
us
to
information
such
as
their.
C
F
System
and
although
I'm
working
on
a
project
about
Urban,
Development
and
economic
impact,
I
still
can
see
how
having
a
rotation
cycle
of
six
weeks
can
improve
their
psyche
and
their
mental
health.
Mental
health,
while
still
improving
their
ability
to
focus
in
other
grades,
and
so
I
thought
that
was
especially
interesting
and
once
again
they
were
the
like
happiest
country.
In.
F
They
were
satisfied
with
what
they
had
so
I
feel
like
by
being
into
Finland
and
talking
to
them.
Personally,
we
were
able
to
gain
a
lot
of
information
and
they
can
gain
what
like
how
we
handle
things
as
well,
and
not
only
is
the
trip
itself
a
great
opportunity
for
us
to
widen
our
perspectives.
F
Planning
for
the
trip
can
also
help
prepare
us
for
our
futures.
For
example,
we
could
apply
for
a
travel
scholarship.
We
can
learn
how
to
plan
around
fundraisers.
We
can
apply
all
of
those
skills
that
we're
learning
from
simply
just
planning
the
trip
to
other
organizations.
For
example,
I
am
a
part
of
Air
Force,
Junior
ROTC
at
my
school,
so
I
can
use
these
teaching
abilities
I'm,
going
to
use
these
organization
skills
to
improve
upon
my
unit
and
how
I
teach
other
people.
F
Another
thing
is
I.
Think
there's
like
a
certain
area
of
objectivity
that
you
have
when
you
compare
your
culture
to
someone
else's
so
West
Virginia
is
largely
based
around
its
coal
industry
and
so
in
finland's
their
resources
are
a
Timber.
F
So
if
they
were
to
come
over
and
see
how
Global
has
impacted
our
culture
and
especially
historically
and
the
Baltimore
right
they'll,
see
how,
like
all
this
history
affects
what
happens
now,
and
we
can
also
explore
how
their
resources
also
affects
their
living
situations
and
how
they
have
been
using
that
and
utilizing
that
information
to
improve
on
what
they
have
so
overall
I
think
this
is
a
great
opportunity
for
all
these
students,
and
it
just
I
I
would
appreciate.
Thank
you.
H
My
daughter
has
said
that
I
think
everything
that
I
was
pretty
much
planning
on
saying
so
I
I
think
just
this
is
like
such
unique
opportunity.
I,
don't
know
if
I'm
allowed
to
ask
a
question,
but
if
I
could
get
a
show
of
hands
who
here
has
been
to
Finland
did.
C
H
I
think
at
any
given
time-
that's
probably
the
case
like
when
he's
in
a
room,
probably
with
more
than
the
people
here,
he's,
probably
the
only
person
in
that
room,
that's
been
to
Finland
and
I-
think
it's
just
such
a
unique
opportunity
for
the
students,
the
teachers
to
be
able
to
go
and
experience
that
culture
and
the
the
diversity
that
they
would
get
to
experience
that
they
just
don't
get
that
opportunity
here.
H
You
know
my
daughter
has
traveled
a
little
she's
been
to
England
she's
been
to
France.
She
got
to
go
to
the
museums
there.
H
H
So
much
different
for
the
the
students
that
live
in
this
area
potentially
never
get
the
opportunity
to
go
to
Finland.
It's
is
amazing,
as
that
country
appears
to
be
with
it
being
the
happiest
country
or
not.
Many
people
have
have
been
to
there.
Not
many
people
have
been
able
to
experience
it
not
being
able.
Many
people
have
been
able
to
share
their
experiences
with
others
and
they
have
that
potentially
that
opportunity
to
do
so.
D
F
Everybody
can't
go,
but
I
do
have
some
angst
about
it.
Out
of
the
12
schools
that
are
selected,
you
know
if
all
12
of
them
are
participating
in
all
12
of
the
schools
are
participating
in
the
project,
but
the
American
students
traveling
to
Finland
is
not
a
requirement.
No.
F
I
do
not
know
I,
don't
know
who
the
other
11
schools
are
it's
in
Finnish
on
their
website.
Just
the
finished
schools
are
listed,
not
the
I
do
have
concerns
about
staying
in
an
apartment
for.
F
I
want
the
rest
of
anything
and
I.
Didn't
I
want
to
look
at
the
lab
before
I
got
here
to
see
when
how
close
Finland
was
to
Russia.
You.
F
But
what
it's
really
close
in
this
map
here
at
Finland
Tamina,
is,
in
the
bottom
right
hand,
corner
and
the
tan
area
just
to
the
right
of
that
is
Russia.
The
town
of
Amina
is
about
20
miles
away
from
the
Russian
border.
F
How
many
adult
children
right
now
it
is
myself
and
Casey
weisel.
My
husband
is
also
a
board
approved
Shepherd
and
he
said
he's
willing
to
go,
and
then
we
have
another
male
teacher,
Kyle
Lindley,
who
has
indicated
that
he
would
be
willing
to
go
so
I
wasn't
sure
what
the
what
the
ratio
was.
I
did
want
to
try
to
find
the
mail
chaperone
to
go
as
well,
since
they
were
male
students
and
we
do
have
two
options
for
that:
funding
how's.
How
are
you
paying
for
your
trip?
F
Currently,
it
is
my
parents
are
paying
it
a
travel
scholarship
application
was
due
last
week
on
Friday
and
I
went
ahead
and
applied
for
it.
Thinking
forgot
to
know
I
just
withdraw
the
application,
so
I
did
apply
for
that
on
behalf
of
the
students
with
their
parents
permission,
and
that
would
be
if
we
were
awarded
that
five
thousand
dollars
towards
the
trip,
and
then
we
were
hoping
to
do
some
fundraising
to
help
offset
the
costs.
F
C
B
F
F
Be
fair
to
any
organizations
that
would
donate
those
funds,
so
nine
students
will
be
born
under
and
and
for
chaperones.
Is
that
what
you
said,
nine
students
and
probably
only
up
to
three
chaperones?
F
F
F
So
I,
just
because
I
was
curious.
I
know
when
I
saw
this
I
thought:
oh
Finland
Russia
uh-oh,
so
it
is
north
several
countries
lying
between
Ukraine
and
Finland,
but
it
is
north
of
of
Ukraine
I'm
troubled
by
the
20
miles
aspect.
However,.
F
Finland
you
know
in
in
Russia
seem
to
to
not
currently
have
relational
issues
that
that
I
can
see.
You
know
that
are
that
are
of
orals
or
anything
like
that,
but
my
question
is
that
could
always
easily
change
on
a
dime,
because
Finland
is
part
of
NATO
and
we
all
know
that
right
now,
Russia
and
NATO
are
not
friends,
okay,
so
the
question
I
guess
I
would
have.
Is
what
do
what
plans
do
you
have
or
what?
What
are
you
prepared
to
do?
As
far
as
a
quick
exit
should
that
happen?
F
I
mean
I
know
it's
a
short
time
period,
you're
not
going
for
for
six
weeks,
but
you
are
going
so
what's
the?
What
is
a
quick
Exit
Plan
look
like
I
was
talking
to
Mr
Stevens
about
this.
Just
before
this
meeting
started
this
evening,
both
lights
to
Finland,
we
can
get
refundable
flights
of
something
were
to
happen
right
before
we
went.
F
We
could
very
easily
cancel
our
trip
and
get
a
full
refund
on
our
flights
and
our
the
Santa
Clara
hotel,
depending
on
where
we
end
up
for
lodging
and
then
before
we
went.
If
we,
if
we
were
able
to
go
before,
we
went
I
planned
on
reaching
out
to
the
US
Embassy
in
Helsinki
and
talking
to
them
about
what
our
options
would
be
and
what
our
steps
would
be
if
we
weren't
there
and
something
happened
and
we
needed
to
get
out
quickly.
I
have
never.
M
M
F
B
C
F
Plans
of
what
their
recommendations
are,
okay
and
when
it
comes
to
the
lodging
aspect,
I
was
following
a
little
bit
with
that,
while
I
was
also
looking
at
some
other
items
regarding
the
trip
in
another
slide.
F
What
what
is
your
desire
as
far
as
like?
What
are
you
looking
at
as
far
as
like
the
most
probable
lodging
I
think
that's
up
to
the
board
of
Mr
Stevens.
What
we're
allowed
to
do
if
it
went
by
way
of
Parents
Choice,
seven
of
our
students
would
Lodge
with
the
fins
and
the
two
who
wanted
to
stay
in
a
hotel
would
take
on
the
extra
cost
of
staying
in
the
hotel,
and
we
would
make
sure
that
there
was
a
chaperone
at
that
hotel
with
them.
F
But
I
feel
like
that's,
not
a
question
that
I
can
answer.
I
don't
have
the
authority
to
do
that.
I
would
need
guidance
from
someone
higher
than
me
as
to
what
we
were
allowed
to
do.
I'm
only
cautious
with
that.
Just
because
it's
something
were
to
happen.
You've
got
you've,
got
to
bring
back
those
that
are
separated.
Okay,.
C
F
Rather
from
the
group,
so
that
that
would
be
my
only
trepidation,
Eileen
more
towards
the
apartment,
even
though
I
I
know,
Miss
Long's
got
some
questions
and
I
I.
Think
they're
Justified.
F
Certain
certain
questions
like
that
so
I
found
on
my
thought
on
the
apartment
was
affordability,
is
located
in
central
Camino
right
in
downtown
so
easily
visible
and
that
we
would
all
be
together
right
in
the
same
place
without
so,
the
apartments
are
two
bedrooms
and
one
bathroom,
so
the
girls
could
stay
together
and
they
could
have
a
little
bit
more
comfort
with
being
in
a
foreign
country
and
having
multiple
of
them
together,
but
still
have
a
little
bit
of
their
own
space
yeah.
C
C
F
Are
not
airbnbs,
they
are
rented.
If
you
go
onto
hotel
websites
in
in
hamina,
it
is
listed
on
the
hotel
websites
as
apartments
for
rent
for
short-term
and
long-term
visitors
to
the
country.
You.
F
C
E
F
Finland
is
the
one
who
has
the
transatlantic
program.
We
had
a
student
at
Martinsburg
High
School
a
few
years
ago,
who
did
a
an
exchange
program
in
Finland,
and
she
was
with
the
teacher
here
in
this
picture.
Miss
Lonnie
and
when
miss
mommy
had
the
opportunity
to
apply
for
this
grant.
She
needed
to
choose
an
American
school
to
work
with,
and
she
already
had
a
relationship
with
one
of
our
students
and
reached
out
to
Martinsburg
High
School,
specifically
to
Melissa
Elliott,
one
of
our
English
teachers.
C
F
E
With
the
parents,
the
seven
of
my
parents
bill
it's
fine
and
you
could
stay
with
a
family
there.
My
sister
actually
was
a
black
exchange
student
for
a
year
in
Brazil,
so
that's
a
little
different,
not
the
happiest
place
in
the
world.
But
you
know
it's
a
beautiful
nice
family,
but
if
the
parents
are
comfortable
with
it
to
I
noticed
the
end
of
the
board,
you
know
we
have
to
consider
the
student
safety,
but
who
more
so,
would
consider
the
child's
safety
than
a
parent.
E
So
that's
why
I
would
lean
more
towards
trusting
The
Finnish
government,
trusting
the
chaperones
and
their
families
in
terms
of
where
they're
going
to
stay
and
I
I,
don't
see
it
being
a
huge
issue
with
it
being
close
to
Russia
I,
don't
really
foresee
Russia
attacking
Finland
because
of
that
across
other
countries
to
jump
in
so
I
think
that's
a
very
low
and
remainder
in
terms
of
potential
violence
or
something
like
that.
I
think
this
is
a
great
opportunity.
E
If
we
tend
to
stay
in
our
low
levels
and
if
you
don't
get
out
and
see
what's
going
on,
you
see
this
on
the
news
and
that's
what
you
go
off
of
instead
of
experiencing
it.
And
you
really
need
to
experience
that
culture
and
that
change.
And
you
know
how.
E
F
Education
and
he
said
that
to
build
citizens
for
the
21st
century,
we
must
continuously
strive
to
offer
instruction
that
helps.
Students
learn
to
see
through
the
eyes
lines
and
hearts
of
others.
I
think
travel
would
allow
us
a
little
bit
more
effort
to
do
that,
and
you
know
anytime.
We
can
appreciate
the
differences
in
other
people,
we're
better
off,
as
other
people
well.
I
do
know
that
the
western.
F
Of
education
said
some
principles
and
some
Educators
to
offend
I
know
we
had
one
or
two
principles
from
Berkeley
County
participating
our
husbands
well
three
years
ago,
maybe
longer
so
it
must
be
the
place
to
go
they're
really
working
on
building
up
their
U.S
relations
and
they
have
some
economic
projects
that
are
going
with
the
United
States,
so
they're,
they're
kind
of
covering
all
of
their
bases
and
trying
to
build
a
stronger
relationship
with
America.
D
Good
morning
yes,
I
have
a
couple:
I
saw
you
had
a
travel
insurance
question
mark.
Yes,.
F
I
looked
into
trying
to
get
travel
insurance,
whether
it
was
possible
to
purchase
individual
travel
insurance,
because
if
you
travel
with
a
company
like
em
tours
that
comes
with
it
and
it
is
possible
for
us
to
purchase
individual
travel
insurance.
And
so
I
was
thinking
that
that
would
be
the
best
option
for
our
students
and
the
chakra
to
go.
If
we
were
to
purchase
travel
insurance.
D
Gotcha,
do
you
normally
approve
trips,
like
any
overseas
trip
that
a
group
wants
to
take,
or
is
this
a
special
circumstance
there.
J
Generally,
when
a
request
like
this
would
be
made,
it
would
be
brought
to
members
of
the
central
office.
Senior
staff
would
get
together,
make
a
decision
on
that
feel
comfortable
about
their
decision
and
be
able
to
move
forward
with
it.
With
this
the
you
know.
First
of
all,
thank
you
so
much
for
for
coming
tonight,
and
this
is
the
second
time
I've
heard
from
this
from
this
group.
The
Saints
has
done
a
great
job
of
pulling
all
this
together.
J
This
trip
isn't
a
is
a
tremendous
opportunity
and
I
am
I,
am
going
to
be
one
of
the
first
to
to
tell
you
that
I
don't
want
to.
Have
you
not
go?
I
I
want
to
be
able
to
have
you
go
I'm
sitting
here
in
in
charge
of
the
Safety
and
Security
of
20
000
students
in
Berkeley,
County
and
being
asked
to
send
staff
and
students
in
the
midst
of
you
know,
I,
don't
know
how
much
everybody
is
on
politics,
some
more
than
others,
but
we're
in
the
midst
of
of
NATO
discussions.
J
We're
in
the
midst
of
of
you
know
the
war
in
Ukraine
and
there's
some
unrest
in
Russia,
to
say
the
least,
and
just
to
pick
up
a
little
bit
on
what
Miss
power
was
talking
about.
Actually,
Finland
has
remained
neutral
up
until
tomorrow
they
will
become
part
of
NATO,
which
will
upset
the
leaders
in
Russia
the
Ascension
of
Finland,
so
I'm
not
not
trying
to
lay
down
a
whole
bunch
of
information
on
people.
But
my
concern
is
not
about
the
validity
of
this
trip
and
its
importance
and
the
opportunities
there.
J
It's
simply
the
timing
and
the
security
of
that
and
nobody
is
going
to
be
able
to
tell
us
what
it's
going
to
be
like
in
August,
right,
at
least
in
April,
for
you
to
go
ahead
and
begin
planning
on
that.
So
my
discussions
with
Miss
Haynes
have
been
you
know
more
along
the
lines
of
you
know:
is
there
Insurance?
What
are
we
going
to
do?
If
we
do
all
of
this
I?
Don't
want
our
students
and
parents
to
be
out.
J
You
know
an
opportunity
and
money
if,
if
the
safety
in
that
region
comes
into
question
in
August-
and
there
were
just
a
lot
of
questions
that
came
up
in
my
mind
and
it's
a
lot
of
responsibility,
so
I
wanted
this
board
to
have
an
opportunity
to
provide
some
feedback
on
that
and
and
know
that
it's
not
the
program
love
the
program.
It's
not
Finland.
No
finland's
history
is
the
timing
and
the
fact
that
Finland
becomes
part
of
NATO
tomorrow
April
the
4th
2023.
J
Russia
is
not
going
to
be
happy
with
that
and
we're
talking
about
25
miles
away.
I,
don't
think
anybody
can
predict
what's
going
to
happen
in
August.
Having
said
all
that,
I
think
it's
it's
going
to
be
up
to
us
to
determine
you
actually
now
that
we're
at
this
level
to
determine
if
this
is
the
trip
that
we
want
to
be
permit
to
go
on,
and
then
what
can
be
done
to
ensure
safety?
J
E
F
F
D
F
What
is
the
the
exit
route?
I?
Don't
believe
right
now,
there's
an
issue
of
Russia
but
I'm.
Looking
at
the
news,
Russia
and
China
are
improving
their
relations.
That's
a
factual
statement.
I
mean
is
20
miles
away.
They're
going
to
join
NATO
I
I'm
I
I've
got
I,
do
have
concerns,
but
I'm
also
in
the
place
of
constitutional
Freedom.
You
have
the
right
to
do
whatever
you
want
in
the
confines
of
the
freedom.
So
we're
traveling
to
another
for
to
a
foreign
country
is
not
unconstitutional.
I.
I
C
A
A
Permission
we
give
today
would
not
be
applicable
if
our
motion
is
so
crafted
so
that
if
there's
a
downgrade
into
level
one
to
one
of
the
other
lower
levels,
the
emotional
reflective.
If
it's
not
level
one,
then
I'm
sure
your
parents
will
be
right
in
there
with
us
doing
it
and
cashing
in
on
their
insurance
right,
so
that
that
would
be
understood.
I
I
did
send
my
son
over
to
the
Lions
Club
and
I
also
had
the
benefit
of
Hosting
to
children
from
Finland.
A
My
children
have
grown
in
18
17
years
old,
and
one
of
the
sad
things
if
you
go
is
if
you
get
a
hotel
you're
going
to
lose
the
immersion
into
the
culture
by
saying
with
the
family,
my
son
stayed
with
the
family,
their
son
came
to
our
country
and
we
swapped
swapped
kids,
and
it
was
fascinating.
I
mean
when
you
go
over
there,
they'll
put
potatoes
in
One
Bowl
meat
in
another
Bowl
I
mean,
if
you
like,
washing
dishes
finland's
the
place
to
go
because
they
don't
mix
their
food
together
and
I.
A
I
A
You
would
mix
your
food
together
on
this
plane.
One
thing
you're
going
to
find:
if
you
do,
the
research
Finland
has
one
of
the
highest
ranked
Educational
Systems
in
the
world.
I,
don't
know
if
it's
first
but
I
know
it's
something.
It's
also
back
in
that
day,
he
said
if
you
had
a
leather
jacket
and
you
forgot
and
left
it
in
the
Square,
someone
might
pick
it
up
and
put
it
in
the
store
if
it's
going
to
rain.
A
Otherwise,
when
you
went
back,
it
was
still
there
very
very
in
my
country
when
I
read
your
when
I
read
the
PowerPoint
I
was
more
concerned
about
the
the
eight
Spanish
students
and
their
two
teachers
Coming
to
America
and
going
to
New
York
City.
C
A
Mean
if
you're
coming
here,
asking
to
go
to
New
York
City
I'd
be
very
reluctant
sometimes
so
what
what
you
see
on
the
news?
But
the
educational
ranking
it'll
be
great
for
us
to
see.
D
A
System
that
spanked
higher
than
ours,
I
I
believe
that
we,
when
we
make
a
motion
here,
I
just
want
to
play
dirty
here
with
Mr
Cravens,
because
I
was
going
to
have
a
sink
before
he
spoke
his
happy
birthday
to
it.
Try
to
soften
them
up
a
little
bit
so.
A
A
We
talked
about
this
and
Peter,
he
is
very
concerned
and
he
expressed,
but
the
policy
making
process
here
with
his
concern
expressed
and
I
want
the
managed
to
expect
that
that
he
is
concerned
and
has
reservations
about
granting
permission.
The
decision
is
made
by
the
five
board
members
here
so
I'm
going
to
ask
for
a
motion
to
approve
it,
with
the
condition
that
the
state
Department's
rating
is
in
place
when
they
leave
the
country
and
not
at
a
lower
level
of
safety
net.
Do
I
have
a
motion
to
do
that.
C
F
I
would
like
to
know
and
I
want
you
to
would
like
for
you
to
find
out
what
are
the
parameters
of
getting
their
funding
back.
If
you
know
things
are
listed,
what
what
you
get
your
money
back
for,
but
if
something
happens
with
any
kind
of
outbreakable
or
anything,
what
would
I
mean
for
the
scholarship
that
I
applied
for
the
funds
not
to
be
used
for
the
trip,
and
if
the
trip
is
canceled,
the
funds
have
to
be
returned
to
the
scholarship
organization.
I
did
look
into
that,
and
that
seems
fair.
F
So
if
we
were
to
use
that
money
to
her
just
plain
tickets
and
we
would
have
to
cancel
our
flight
and
get
refunded
the
plane
tickets,
then
we
would
just
turn
around
and
give
that
money
back
to
that
scholarship
organization.
If
we
were
to
do
fundraising,
activities
that
it
would
I
guess
have
to
be
a
conversation,
I'd
have
with
an
organization
that
would
agree
to
host
us
for
fundraising,
like
some
of
our
restaurants
in
the
area
do.
F
But
we
would
imagine
that
all
of
us
would
be
100
willing
to
give
all
of
that
money
back
if
we
were
to
have
to
cancel
our
trip
and
I
did
like
I
talked
to
Mr
Stevens
we'll
get
flights
in
hotels
and
make
sure
that
whatever
we
did
purchase
would
be
refundable.
We
would
not
sign
up
for
a
non-refundable
flights,
because,
if
anything
were
to
happen,
then
we're
out
of
all
that
money
and
we
wouldn't
be
able
to
pay
back
any
scholarships
or
donors
that
they're
doing
it
to
us
later.
The.
A
Questions
discussion
on
the
motion.
One
thing
I
would
like
to
request
is
that
you
get
an
email
and
with
Mr
stevens
or
his
designee,
and
one
of
the
board
members
just
send
out
an
update
of.
What's
going
on,
I
mean
everything's,
okay,
we'll
be
fine,
but
just
on
a
daily
basis,
because
we'll
be
worried
about
you.
E
F
D
A
I
You
good
evening
this
is
a
Berkeley
County
Board
of
Education
superintendent
Stevens.
The
first
item
I
have
for
you
tonight
is
the
purchase
of
a
new
line
of
interactive
panels
for
Spring
Mills,
High,
School
and
Martin
Middle
School.
I
I
So
what
we
would
like
to
do
is
use
Tools
for
Schools
funding
and
purchase
enough
to
outfit
Spring
Mills
High,
School,
North,
Middle
School,
and
then
we'll
have
seven
remaining
that
we
would
take
to
finish
or
partially
we're
in
progress
at
Mountain,
Ridge,
Middle
School
right
now.
They
have
newborns
that
were
like
the
number
one
through
30
off
the
assembly
line
and
those
are
also
available.
It's.
I
The
technology
office
to
have
an
interactive
presentation
station
in
every
single
classroom,
so
this
would
actually
help
us
with
that.
The
new
line
of
interactive
panel
itself
is
two
thousand
ninety
five
dollars
and
the
windows
on
board
computer
that
comes
along
with
it
is
I
work,
721.
I
F
I
A
I
The
auditorium
here's
two
access
points,
so
it
just
says,
depending
on
how
many
people
are
on
that,
the
wireless
at
the
time
these
boards
would
actually
be
hardwired
into
the
hardwired
network
and
the
speed
at
springville's,
high
I
believe
is
a
gig,
so
that
was
the
highest
we
have
in
the
valley.
Okay,
I.
F
D
I
10
years
plus
it
just
depends
on,
if
you
know
a
teacher
walks
out
of
the
classroom
and
leaves
it
on
or
practices
turning
the
device
back
off.
It
does
come
with
a
three-year
warranty.
We
are
pushing
for
the
manufacturer
to
upgrade
to
buy
I,
don't
know
if
we'll
get
away
with
that
or
not,
but
they
are
supposed
to
last
at
least
10
years
with
average
use.
A
A
Okay,
we're
ready
for
a
motion
all
those
in
support
of
allocating
the
422
416
hours
of
the
Tools
for
Schools
fund,
which
will
lose.
We
don't
use
it.
Our
signal
probably
make
a
motion
for
that:
okay,
moved
by
Mr
Martin
second,
by
Miss,
Long.
D
A
I
I
I
I
D
I
F
C
F
Yeah
I'm
just
I
I'm,
just
wanting
to
make
sure
and
I'm
not
saying
that
we're
not
spending
it
wisely,
I'm
just
making
it.
This
makes
sense
to
me
because
of
the
the
wireless
access
points,
maybe
I'm
old
school,
but
I
sit
there
and
I
go
okay,
old-fashioned,
projector
and
whiteboard
we're
good.
So
that's
why
I'm
I
don't
understand
the
whole.
You
know
needing
to
have
this
technology
that
is
so
far
Advanced
that
I
just.
I
I
I
That
comes
in
oh,
this
is
my
first
big
e-rate
project.
So
I
don't
know
that
I
can
answer
that
question,
but
that
would
be
once
they
accept
our
application,
which
late
fall
before
the
projects
get
started.
We
it
ends
up
in
trying
to
count
somewhere.
It.
K
A
Further
questions
question
this
power
without
standing
on
this,
because
I'm.
F
A
A
A
Okay,
do
I
have
a
motion
to
approve
the
item
8.3
on
the
board
agenda,
the
e-rate
information
technology
for
eBay
instead
of
Mr
Martin
news.
Second,
thank
you.
Mr
Wright
sentenced
an
image
Through
the
Motions
I.
I
A
I
Do
okay
last
year
we
were
had
to
use
the
state
contract
was
up
forbid,
so
we
did
not
complete
a
project,
but
I
have
been
involved
in
the
department
where
we
have
gotten
that
reimbursement.
The
FCC
stands
by
their
work.
Okay,.
D
A
But
relation
yes
all
right!
Thank
you!
Oh
before
you
go
I'll
have
you
on
the
agency.
I
would
like
to
see
you
Drifters
a
letter
to
the
State
Board
of
Education
I'm,
asking
that
they
start
formulating
a
conference
training
monitoring
whatever
you
want
to
call
it
to
keep
an
upgrade
the
security
systems
in
this
state.
We
we
have
a
lot
of
counties
and
I,
don't
think
it's
work
we
can
but
I
think
it
Berkeley
County
will
benefit
if
we
had
a
forum
for
you
all.
A
You
know
a
Statewide
basis
to
interact
with
each
other
and
brainstorm
when
upgrading
our
process
processes,
also,
probably
they
would
bring
in
the
Department
of
Homeland
safety
and
other
agencies,
but
we
need
a
letter
from
the
state
department
after
what
we
experience
that
that
we've
all
know
we're
working
together
to
protect
the
security
system.
So
if
you
would
work
on
the
letter
of
the
staff
or
whatever
to
approve
the
next
meeting,
I
appreciate
it:
okay,
okay,
thank
you
all
right,
yeah.
We
voted
for
that.
Okay,
okay,
let's
check
all
right,
Mr
Burke.
D
N
Evening,
good
evening
got
to
seeking
approval
on
two
different
contracts
for
some
facilities
projects
tonight
and
the
first
one
is
a
boiler
replacement.
N
We
put
this
out
in
an
RFP.
We
only
had
one
response
to
that
and
it
was
for
Worley
mechanical.
We
just
did
boiler
replacement
at
Hedgesville
middle
course
and
as
a
familiar
contractor
to
us,
with
their
bid
for
labor
and
materials,
was
142
200.
N
A
N
N
That
was
hired
to
come
out
and
work
on.
These
claims
talked
to
me
two
weeks
ago
and
said
he
had
just
finished
his
whole
group
of
projects
that
he
did.
He
had
just
got
all
his
reports
in
and
he
was
just
one
of
I.
Don't
know
how
I
mean
this
guy
came
from
Texas,
they
had
so
many
contractors.
They
brought
him
to
do.
Adjustments
from
the
cruise
there
was
so
much
damage
in
the
state.
N
F
N
Than
you
know,
immediate
connections
to
the
unit
the
the
size
of
the
plane
should
be
adequate.
Okay,.
C
F
A
N
When
we
look
at
projections
for
students
coming
into
schools
for
the
following
year,
we
go
around
and
we
see
how
we
can
Shuffle
classrooms
and
what
can
be
done
to
make
that
space
and
Tomahawk
gets
determined
that
we
need
really
two
additional
classrooms
to
make
way
for
what
is
abnormally
large
second
grade
class
building
through
Hedgesville
helmetic
found
leading
up
to
their
immediate
school.
We
looked
at
a
couple
different
ways
to
accomplish
that.
N
This
proposal
is
to
purchased
a
used,
eight
classroom
modular
unit
to
replace
the
current
sixth
bathroom
modular,
that
is
on
site
and
the
reason
we're
projecting
we're
proposing
to
do.
That
is
to
move
that
sixth
classroom
model
out
of
the
way
for
the
future
Edition
that
will
be
starting,
hopefully
within
the
next
year,
at
that
school.
N
Right
now,
it's
located
on
that
back
corner
of
the
school,
which
will
definitely
be
impacted
by
the
construction
of
the
addition,
so
one
way
or
another
that
that
pod
will
have
to
be
relocated
on
site
or
moved
out
and
replaced
with
something
else
to
keep
students
in
classrooms.
While
that
construction
is
in
progress.
N
N
What
we're
looking
at
is
a
used
unit
which,
if
you've
heard
me
speak
of
Portables
before
you
know,
number
one
I'm,
not
a
fan
of
portable
classrooms
and
number
two
I'm,
not
a
fan
of
used
portable
classrooms.
However,
there's
been
some
recent
changes
and
now
we
are
required
to
sprinkle
anything
over
one
single
classroom
and
that
adds
up
to
a
hundred
thousand
dollars
to
a
project
and
even
at
this
size,
we'd
be
looking
at
a
hundred
thousand
dollars
just
for
the
sprinkler.
N
So,
by
purchasing
the
units
that
was
manufactured
prior
to
2018,
we're
grandfathered
in
and
we
just
have
to
install
a
fire
alarm
and
not
a
fire
sprinkler.
This
unit
is
actually
manufactured
in
2009.
L
N
The
total
sales
price
of
the
unit
is
585
373
dollars
and
that's
included,
including
basic
setup
launch
site,
there's
approximately
another
hundred
and
fifty
thousand
dollars
in
work
that
would
be
done
to
bring
in
our
sewer
water,
sidewalks,
fencing
fire
alarms,
door,
access
controls
and
everything
else.
We
need
to
do
to
get
this
ready
for
students.
A
And
away
at
Orchard
View,
some
of
our
other
schools
with
12
classrooms,
350
kids,
we
have
just
eight
tourists,
one
for
the
boys,
four
for
the
girls,
you
know
combinations
and
this
unit
for
100
students.
We
have
seven
for
the
boys
and
eight
for
the
girls,
and
here
we're
sitting
there
thinking
that
modular
is
the
southern
part.
The
kids
in
those
classrooms
will
get
rid
of
their
business
and
get
back
to
doing
The
Business
of
Being
educated,
rather
than
standing
around
the
line
waiting
to
use
a
limited
number
of
talks
in
our
brand
new
schools.
F
F
F
I,
just
I
have
a
problem
with
it.
I
want
sprinklers,
my
kids
are,
if
my
kids
were
in
there.
I
would
I
would
never
put
my
kid
in
there,
because
there's
no
sprinkler
system.
N
I
mean
the
major
costs
will
be
bringing
in
a
minimum
of
four
inch
water
line
to
a
structure.
That's
there
temporarily.
So,
for
example,
Rosemont
Elementary
everyone
did
it.
We
had
to
go
with
a
really
high-end
sprinkler
with
the
dry
valve
system
which
puts
electronic
valve
inside
the
building,
because
that
orange
line
is
exposed
to
weather
when
it
goes
out.
Obviously
it
will
produce,
you
know,
slow
water,
so
there
has
to
be
Electronics
in
the
building
to
keep
that
pipe
dry
until
it
calls
for
water.
N
F
A
N
Alarms
would
go
off
in
this
portable
classroom,
just
as
the
current
six
bacheloring
portable
is
right
now
at
tomahawk,
so
it
wouldn't
be
anyway
a
downgrade
to
the
current
situation.
It's
there.
It
would
be
a
replacement
of
current
conditions
other
than
room
for
two
more
classrooms,
and
it
would
be
a
temporary
measurement
until
brand
new
10
classroom.
Edition
is
done.

A
C
C
A
We
are
now
on
under
Dr
Schooley.
B
Okay
good
evening,
members
of
the
board
superintendent
Stevens,
the
first
no
action
dated
for
Monday
April
the
3rd
are
as
following.
We
have
one
new
appointment
of
an
unpaid
coach.
We
have
six
coaching
resignations.
B
Two
extra
Duty
appointments,
one
resignation
from
an
extra
Duty
contract,
one
new
health
care
appointments.
They
have
four
leave
of
absence,
requests
that
are
unpaid.
We
have
one
person
revising
their
unpaid
leave
of
absence
to
return.
B
We
have
one
appointment
of
a
professional
personnel
and
then
on
pages
two
and
three
we
have
11
mutual
agreements
as
we
enter
into
the
transfer
season.
These
prevent
individuals
from
being
placed
on
transfer
then
continuing
on
page
four.
We
have
one
new
policy:
five
thousand
a
professional
personnel
and
eight
resignations
of
professional
personnel,
two
retirements,
a
professional
personnel,
and
we
have
one
transfer
of
professional
Personnel
for
next
school
year
and
one
individual
rescinding
their
transfer
for
next
school
year
on
service
Employments.
B
We
have
six
new
service
appointments
to
make
one
administrative
reassignment
of
a
service
personnel.
Two
change
of
assignments
of
service
Personnel
to
different
bus
runs
two
resignations
of
service
personnel
and
one
retirement.
At
the
end
of
the
school
year
of
service
personneling,
three
transfers
to
another
location
of
service
personnel.
B
Two
individuals
have
received
upgrade
qualifications
of
service
Personnel,
but
then
their
job
titles.
We
have
three
new
substitute
service,
four
appointments
of
substitute
teachers.
We
have
two
substitute
teachers,
resigning
and
one
individual
resigning
from
her
summer;
employment
as
we
get
ready
for
Summers
as
well
or
two
of
68
or
total
Personnel
recommendation.
Professional.
A
C
C
A
Okay,
questions
from
Miss,
Dr
SUNY.
F
I
would
love
to
to
see
as
we're
trying
to
evaluate
retention
and
and
the
like,
I'd
love
to
know
where
we
stand
with
some
of
the
individuals.
As
far
as
like
how
long
they've
been
with
our
County,
you
know:
I
I
see
bus
operators
that
are
resigning.
We
also
know
that
we've
hired
a
lot
of
bus
operators
in
the
last
six
months.
So
how
long
do
they
stay?
When
do
they
leave.
I
B
F
Probably
is,
but
it
would
be
just
a
approximate,
it
would
just
give
us
an
idea
of
what
that
looks
like
as
we're
trying
to
to
solve
this
issue
of
retention
and
also
recruitment
just
to
have
an
idea
of
how
long
you
know
teachers
are
staying,
substitutes
or
staying.
F
I
saw
one
where
we
and
I
don't
ask
me
which,
when
it
was,
it
was
a
few
months
back
where
we
one
meeting,
we
were
approving
a
substitute
teacher
and
then
two
meetings
later
we
were,
she
was
leaving
so
only
lasted
a
month.
So
I'd
love
to
just
kind
of
take
a
look
see
what's
going
on
yeah.
That's
all.
A
J
Well,
first
of
all,
thank
you
for
that.
Wonderful
rendition
of
happy
birthday
I
just
want
to
say
thank
you
for
that.
It
pleases
me
to
be
able
to
congratulate
our
Ace
Award
winner,
Tina
shanholtz,
as
well
as
the
students
who
are
recognized
in
our
Athletics
and
arts
accomplishments.
It's
music
to
my
ears,
to
congratulate
all
of
those
mentioned
speaking.
J
Festival,
we
are
wrapping
up
women's
History
Month,
during
which
our
equity
and
inclusion
team
took
a
tour
of
Berkeley,
County
Schools
and
was
reading.
I
am
Enough
by
Grace
Byers,
Dr
Alfonso
and
Travis
Williams,
along
with
the
rest
of
the
student
advisory
team,
visited
all
pre-ks,
both
Berkeley
County
Schools
and
Head
Start
programs.
J
Wish
he
was
able
to
be
here
with
us
tonight.
He
would
have
been
giving
us
the
the
update
that
Dr
Branch
gave
us
not
Dr.
Branch
did
a
great
job,
but
Mr
Dan
Comer
has
been
named.
West
Virginia
athletic
director
of
the
Year
for
all
his
contributions
to
Athletics
his
outstanding
service
and
contributions
in
the
state
of
West,
Virginia
and
I
would
also
like
to
say
a
happy
birthday
to
Dan,
because
it's
also
his
birthday
this
week
is
assistant
principals
week.
J
We
kicked
off
the
week
by
celebrating
that
I
want
to
thank
all
of
our
assistant
principals
for
their
hard
work
and
all
they
do
for
our
students
across
the
district,
we'll
be
honoring
them
on
social
media
throughout
the
week.
Take
a
look
at
dates
to
remember.
We
have
interims
that
go
out
on
Thursday
April,
the
6th
Friday
April,
the
7th
it's
faculty,
Senate
no
school
for
students
April
the
10th
through
the
14th
next
week
is
our
spring
break.
J
J
That
concludes
my
updates
for
tonight
and
thank
you
for
the
for
the
birthday
wishes.
A
Okay,
we're
going
to
continue
in
our
discussion
as
the
five
board
members
retired
to
Executive
session
under
984
for
the
next
step
and
where
we're
going
on
the
superintense
search,
and
it
will
not
be
any
action
taken
after
the
meeting
or
out
here
after
that.
A
Discussion
all
this
is
going
in
favor
of
the
motion,
State
Department,
saying
and
I.
