Do
have
a
question
with
Rubicon:
are
we
paying
this
annually
quarterly?
How
is
this
payment
and
how
will
it
continue
on
if
we
use
the
map
curriculum
system.
E
Could
the
curriculum
coordinators
explain
the
atlas
curriculum
mapping
system
thanks.
H
We
use
the
atlas,
mapping
software
to
curate
and
Warehouse
all
of
The
Curriculum
maps.
So
we
began
our
contract
with
Atlas
at
the
beginning
of
this
school
year
and
this
year
the
Departments
work
together
to
begin
mapping
stage,
one
which
is
essentially
all
of
your
standards
and
in
the
sequence
that
you're
going
to
be
teaching
them
we'll
be
using
it
to
continue
on
with
the
curriculum
mapping
stage.
H
Two
we'll
be
looking
at
assessments
and
then
stage
three
is
when
you
actually
start
to
begin
planning
the
lesson
experiences
all
making
sure
that
they're
aligned
with
the
standards
and
that
the
assessment
is
Dem
having
students
demonstrate
what
you
wanted
them
to
master.
So
this
this
tool,
software
tool
allows
us
to
Warehouse
our
Curriculum
maps
in
it,
but
it's
also
a
great
way
for
the
teachers
to
collaborate
during
this
process,
so
they're
all
working
together.
There
are
resources
there
to
support
them
to
throughout
the
process.
H
I
J
And
I
know
that
that
and
the
best
were
talked
about
a
lot
at
the
February
meeting
when
I
was
meeting
with
the
Department
of
Education
on
other
things,
one
of
the
things
I
was
wondering
about
was
I
was
looking
for
information
on
the
just
the
opt-in
opt
out
in
general,
because
I
I
know
from
my
experience
in
in
districts
that
in
public
education,
it's
generally
best
practice
to
do
all
of
those
things
as
opt
out
so
I
was
looking.
J
I
did
some
research
to
try
to
figure
out
like
the
argument
for
opt-in,
rather
than
opt
out
and
I
did
find
one
place
making
a
case
for
that.
The
American
Enterprise
Institute.
J
They're
trying
to
get
I
guess
the
federal
law
changed
for
that.
But
you
know
one
of
the
things
that
I
think
Mr
Christensen
was
talking
about.
Was
the
law
surrounding
I
said
ppar
or
something
the
student
data,
so
I
read
through
that
and
it
it
seems
to
actually
indicate
that
lost
the
tab.
J
It
seems
to
indicate
that
as
long
as
parents
are
given
information
about
what
is
happening
with
clear
information,
an
opportunity
to
get
more
information,
it's
and
directions
on
how
to
opt
out
even
that
law
indicates
that
opt
out
is
okay,
so
I
guess
my
question
is:
are
there
any
changes
to
that
law
or
has
the
there
been
case
law
I
just
want
to
clarify
that
it?
It
doesn't
seem
to
me
that
we
actually
doing
either
the
past
or
the
best
or
a
climate
survey
actually
is
in
violation
of
that
federal
law.
J
K
No,
and
so
there
there
so
the
law
that
you're
referencing,
then
you
shared
with
me
in
in
advance
of
this
meeting,
is
the
protection
of
people
of
Rights
Amendment,
which
is
a
federal
law
that
gives
certain
rights
to
parents,
to
receive
advance
notice
of
certain
types
of
screeners
and
and
other
sensitive
information,
and
that
and
and
provides
them
with
an
opportunity
to
opt
out.
So
we
do
generally
believe
that
you
know
soft
Communications,
that's
oftentimes
in
the
form
of
a
letter
or
an
email
with
general
information
in
advance
of
a
screener.
K
If
it
has
that
type
of
sensitive
information
and
I
think
best.
That
particular
screener
had
had
the
type
of
information
that
that
law
specifically
pointed
to
I'm,
not
certain
if
pass
does
in
a
in
a
similar
way,
but
that
we
that
we
provide
certain
notice
and
make
sure
the
parents
are
are
at
least
aware
at
some
level
or
made
aware
as
an
affirmative
communication
and
and
can
take
advantage
of
that,
so
that
that
is.
That
is
a
lot
now.
There's
there's
other
layers
where
districts
determine.
K
When
must
you
give
that
notice
and
when
may
you
give
that
notice
and
and
take
a
different
approach
and
I
think
there's
there's
more
flexibility,
there
I
don't
think
opt
opt-in
is
not
a
legal
requirement
for
for
certain
types
of
information,
but
I
think
as
a
matter
of
policy
and
practice.
A
lot
of
boards
and
districts
find
that
it's
that
opting
out
or
providing
that
as
an
option
is,
is
a
strategy
that
they
wish
to
employ.
K
J
But
I
didn't
want
anyone
to
have
the
impression
that,
like
we
were
that
the
original
proposals
to
do
things
as
opt
out
were
in
conflict
with
no
that
law,
so
I
appreciate
the
clarification
right.
I
mean
matters
of
if
we
like
it
or
don't
like
it
or
personally
have
other
opinions
about
it
or
one
thing:
I
just
want
to
clarify
the
law
so.
A
It
is
a
law
in,
in
terms
of
you,
know,
the
commercial
setting
how
you
do,
marketing,
how
you
collect
data
I
think
it's
also
regarded
as
just
the
standard
of
decency
of
how
we
treat
personal
information
around
the
globe.
So
those
eight
those
eight
items
under
this
pupils-
Privacy
Act,
they
would
appear
in
gdpr.
You
know
which
is
European
Standard,
this
fast
becoming
the
global
standard
for
data
privacy.
It's
just
it's
like
a
decency
standard
of
eight
core
principles.
C
D
J
I
I
think
the
past
looks
like
a
really
good
way
to
take
a
temperature
of
where
students
are
in
terms
of
being
ready
for
learning
and
and
figuring
out
who
needs.
The
additional
support
to
you
know,
learn
some
skills.
Some
coping
mechanisms
check
and
see.
Is
there
a
problem
with
another
student?
Is
there
a
problem
with
an
adult?
You
know
that
kind
of
thing
like
what's
going
on
so
I
think
it
has
a
lot
of
value
and
and
I
think
the
information
it
supplies
to
the
staff
about
what
to
do.
J
If
they
have
a
concern
for
a
student
you
know,
recommendations
to
work
through
is
is
very
valuable
and
important.
I,
don't
think
it
replaces
a
mental
health,
screener
and
I.
Don't
think
it
replaces
a
climate
survey,
but
it's
good
to
have
it.
But
in
my
opinion
it's
not
a
substitute
for
those
other
things,
so
I
don't
oppose
it.
I
do
support
it.
A
From
a
privacy
standpoint,
I
mean
I.
I
only
have
a
point
of
view
because
I
worked
in
marketing
a
long
time
and
and
dealt
with
a
lot
of
the
European
standards
around
privacy
and
we
had
to
deal
with
those
things
and-
and
you
know,
I
looked
at
the
past,
I
didn't
see
anything
but
related
to
privacy
like
personal
privacy.
That
would
be
considered
protected,
so
I
mean
I.
I,
don't
have
a
problem
with
that.
One
at
all.
A
Very
good
any
objections:
okay,
Darren
Personnel
committee,
okay,.
D
Under
personnel,
there
are
four
items
tonight:
number
one:
acceptance
of
resignations:
number
two
appointment
of
personnel;
number;
three
approval
of
unpaid
leave
of
absence
and
number
four
change
of
assignment
any.
F
No
I
just
have
a
question
and
I
believe
it's
the
change
of
assignment
we're
splitting
two
elementary
schools
for
custodial
reasons.
Are
we
giving
them
both
because
the
size
difference
is
large?
One
is
quite
a
large
building
with
350
students,
and
one
is
the
smallest
building
in
the
district.
Are
we
giving
them
both
the
amount
of
cleaning
that
they
would
need?
If
we're
splitting
in
eight
hour
shift
that.
M
Position
was
already
a
split
position
and
was
created
by
I
think
it
was
Mr.
I
can't
remember
his
name
mark
Briggs,
who
passed
away.
So
it's
filling
that
position
and
then
the
other
position
D
is
moving
into
that
that
other
position.
So
it's
just
the
shifting
around
the
positions
aren't
new.
They
they
already
existed
that
way.
C
A
Okay,
so
all
those
moved
to
consent
agenda
Mr
grisbeck.
Can
you
take
the
finance
committee.
C
number,
eight
Kennedy,
School
Driving
at
no
cost
to
the
school
district;
number;
nine
payment
for
the
new
K-5
elementary
school
project
for
six
thousand;
two
hundred
eighty
one
dollars
and
seven
cents
to
Herbert
Roland
and
Rubik
Inc
number
10
purchase
of
PowerSchool
specials
program
at
a
cost
of
twenty
six
thousand
two
hundred
eighty
two
dollars
for
the
first
year
and
annually
at
a
cost
of
twenty
two
thousand.
C
K
So
this
relates
to
delinquent
real
estate
tax
collection.
The
district
is
required
to
to
state
its
fees
and
the
mechanisms
by
which
delinquent
real
estate
taxes
are
collected.
You
have
an
existing
resolution.
K
This
is
a
resolution
that
is
standardized
across
all
of
our
delinquent
tax
collection,
clients
and
so
to
do
it
that
way,
provides
both
efficiency
and
also
it
updates
an
element
of
of
fairness.
There
are
some
modest
increases
in
the
litigation
realm,
I
will
say.
The
vast
majority
of
all
accounts
are
solved
far
before
we
get
to
a
litigation
posture
with
any
Delinquent
Tax
real
estate
taxpayers.
We
also
added
another
element
this
year
with
the
validation
notice
before,
which
is
an
additional
pre-litigation
notice,
and
our
hope
is
that
that
will
alert.
K
Delinquent
Tax
account
property
owners
that
that
we,
that
at
least
an
account
has
been
turned
over
to
us
to
check
their
records
to
provide
for
an
opportunity
to
resolve
that
early
on
and
in
a
less
adversarial
Manner,
and
so
this
this
resolution
provides
for
that
process
as
well.
That.
K
It
was,
and
we
think
it
we
think
it
adds
you
know
just
a
different
layer
of
communication
and
and
hopefully
one
that
allows
people
just
to
kind
of
just
get
caught
up
quickly.
There's
a
you
know,
and
and
sometimes
we
do
find
that
there's
just
a
lot.
There's
a
there's
been
you
know
a
payment
or
some
information
made.
That
is,
for
whatever
reason,
just
was
not
accurately
reflected
in
the
turnover
there's
a
lot
of
accounts.
K
N
N
That's
all
reported
to
the
state,
essentially
our
current
programming
that
we're
using
is
IEP
plus
and
it
is
being
what
they
call
Sunset
when
this,
when
it's
no
longer
being
serviced,
and
that
is
going
extinct
the
end
of
September
of
next
year,
so
we
have
to
purchase
new
software
for
this
upcoming
school
year.
Thank.
G
Well,
it
really
is
just
a
just
a
sort
of
an
approval
for
them
to
offer
drivers,
ed
classroom
and
driving
instruction
on
our
campus
and
our
facilities.
Families
would
pay
Kennedy
School
directly.
The
district
can
claim
a
very,
very
modest
reimbursement
from
the
state
for
having
offered
a
program
through
a
service
like
Kennedy,
so
Our
obligation.
The
board's
obligation
is
to
approve
them
as
the
provider
and
then
sometime
in
the
in
the
fall
to
be
approving
all
of
the
drivers
as
registered.
You
know
clear
clearances
and
so
forth.
J
A
J
I
did
just
want
to
comment.
Thank
you
very
much
for
all
of
the
people
in
the
entities
that
have
made
donations
to
the
district
for
the
benefit
of
our
students.
We
appreciate
you
thanks.
A
Okay
and
Miss
Turner,
can
you
take
the.
F
A
A
That's
it
any
public
comments
on
anything
else
related
to
school,
business.
F
I
a
couple
of
them
last
night
because
we
stopped
for
ice
cream,
but
the
play
was
fantastic.
Those
students
were
amazing,
the
fact
that
they
finished
the
play
and
we're
working
on
Sunday
and
Monday
at
ice
cream
stores,
Liz
pretty
amazing
and
Good
Luck
to
all
of
the
spring
sports
that
it
started
this
week
in
a
little
bit
of
nice
weather.
You
know,
as
one
said,
they
only
needed
the
Hat,
the
gloves
and
the
short
parka
to
watch
baseball
this
week.
