Council.
Please
cast
your
vote.
B
A
E
F
Good
afternoon,
council
guess
some
good
news:
the
design
is
complete.
F
F
Swepco,
as
you
know,
is
out
there
working.
They
tell
us
they
should
be
complete
by
march
15th.
A
t
and
sudden
link
are
dependent
on
swepco
getting
their
stuff
because
their
wires
hang
off
of
the
swepco
poles
centerpoint
has
completed
an
easement
plant
for
running
their
gas
line
through
the
water
plant.
I
believe
that
was
the
servitude
y'all
just
approved,
so
they
tell
us
it
will
take
them
until
june.
The
first,
I
think
we
can
potentially
expedite
that
verizon
tells
us
they'll
be
finished
by
february.
F
15Th
so
looks
like
we're
on
track
with
them.
We've
got
these
seven
permits
with
dotd
that
we're
still
working
on
there's
been
some
going
back
and
forth
with
d.o.t
on
the
permits.
F
I
plan
to
have
a
meeting
with
mark
long
president
to
figure
out
when
we
can
get
not
only
the
dotd
permits,
but
also
the
army
corps
of
engineers
permits,
since
they
just
received
the
drawings
last
week.
I
want
to
give
them
a
little
bit
of
time
before
I
call
for
that
meeting,
so
we
can
get
tentative
approval
from
them,
hopefully
on
the
permits,
so
we
can
discuss
advertising
for
br
for
bids.
F
F
As
you
know,
we've
been
working
on
the
20
inch
water
line,
relocation
where
the
carriageway
hits
benton
road
there's
some
new
storm
water
culverts
that
were
put
in
we've
got
to
get
a
water
line
out
of
the
way
that
design
is
coming
along,
we
hope
to
advertise
for
bids
in
march.
It
shouldn't
take
very
long
to
construct
that
project.
F
One
item
of
note:
after
working
with
the
drainage,
where
walter
o'bigby
intersects
with
benton
road,
the
existing
storm
water
drainage
system
on
benton
road
is
not
going
to
be
able
to
handle
the
storm
water
runoff
from
the
carriageway
the
new
citizens
bank
drive
in
in
the
carry
in
the
in
benton
road
area.
The
drainage
along
benton
road
in
that
area
is
pretty
much
maxed
out,
so
we're
probably
going
to
have
to
build
another
storm
water
pump
station
which
will
drain
the
underpass.
F
As
we've
discussed,
that's
going
to
go
under
the
bridge
for
citizens,
bank
drive
the
field
that
the
bridge
lands
in
and
that
area
around
the
carriageway
intersects
with
citizens
with
the
benton
road.
F
So
as
soon
as
we
either
have
the
permits
in
hand
or
have
some
indication
that
the
permits
are
forthcoming,
we'll
go
ahead
and
advertise
for
bids
would
be
our
recommendation.
I
think
it's
premature
to
do
it
until
we
know
there's
not
going
to
be
any
major
comments
by
the
regulatory
agencies.
So
with
that
being
said,
if
anybody
has
any
questions,
I'd
be
happy
to
answer
them.
E
E
C
Good
afternoon,
council
mayor
this
is
our
monthly
update,
get
you
all
up
to
speed
on
the
various
projects
we
have
going
on
throughout
the
city,
just
real
quick
general
overview
again
over
150
million
dollars
worth
of
projects
in
design
and
construction.
Currently,
81
million
of
that
is
under
construction.
C
C
C
They
are
currently
working
on
the
eastbound
on
ramp
and
westbound
off
ramp.
Work
on
that
is
expected
to
be
complete
towards
the
middle
of
next
month
and
they
are
ahead
of
schedule
all
this
rain.
This
week's
not
helping
but
work,
is
progressing
there.
They're
moving
briskly
out
there,
innovation
drive
project
is
complete.
The
big
issue
out
here
at
the
moment
is
getting
the
lighting
energized
and,
as
we
speak,
I
believe
about
30
percent
of
that
is
complete
on
the
east
and
west
end
aep
was
on
site
working
with
will
out
electric
to
get
that
done.
C
C
Melrose
drive
extension
currently
working
on
that
that's
a
good
picture,
they're
about
10
percent.
They
just
recently
mobilized
and
and
they're
they're
breaking
ground
out
there.
On
the
roadway
part,
the
utilities
are
substantially
complete.
C
We're
working
through
punchless
items
now
out
there
coleman
street,
not
sure
if
y'all
have
seen,
but
the
contractor
mobilized
towards
the
end
of
last
year
and
they
are
blowing
and
going
on
drainage
and
all
kinds
of
work
out
there
we're
happy
to
see
that
they've
got
detours
in
place
and,
as
I'm
aware
there
haven't
been
any
issues
with
the
high
school's
operation
while
that
works
going
on
the
71
south
street
scape
project
phase
one
they
are
working
about,
10
percent,
complete
same
amount
of
time
has
elapsed
out
there
and
earnest
construction
is
moving
and
grooving
down
there.
C
We
expect
to
see,
will
hyde
electric
within
the
next
couple
of
weeks
start
placing
the
street
lighting
for
that
project
max
bayou.
That
project
is
complete,
looks
great.
It's
probably
the
last
time
you
see
this
slide.
We
issued
the
substantial
completion
back
on
december
14th
bosses
city
fire
department,
burn
building
kind
of
see
here
it's
coming
up
a
little
behind
schedule,
but
much
of
this
is
just
related
to
holiday
and
and
working
weather
days,
and
things
like
that
they're
making
good
progress
now
that
all
their
materials
are
on
site.
C
Animal
control
has
occupied
a
portion
of
that
building,
working
through
various
site
issues
and
roof
issues,
and
things
like
that,
so
we're
pressing
to
get
that
one
done,
but
it's
starting
to
take
shape
and
look
good
tinsley
athletic
ball
fields.
You
can
kind
of
see
that
top
left
slide.
That's
the
beginning
of
the
big
concession
stand
out
there.
It's
going
to
be
very
unique
to
our
area.
Bottom
slide
is
the
batting
area,
and
then
you
get
a
glimpse
of
the
new
turf
fields
out
there
that
project's
really
coming
along
good.
Now.
C
This
is
the
centurylink
center
they're
a
little
ahead
of
schedule,
we're
working
with
the
contractor
right
now,
cattle
electric,
on
a
addition
of
an
alternative
project
for
them.
That
project
came
in
well
within
budget
out
there
and
clinton,
and
I
are
working
to
make
sure
we
get
all
the
juice
we
can.
Out
of
that
project
looks
great.
C
C
We've
got
everything
punched
out
and
you'll,
see
on
the
next
council
agenda:
reconciliat
reconciliation
of
that
project,
we're
about
45
thousand
dollars
to
the
good
on
that
job,
which
is
great
field
of
dreams,
kind
of
see
the
the
restroom
there
off
in
the
background
main
part
that
they're
working
on
is
getting
all
of
the
parking
complete
out.
C
There
also
got
a
similar
reconciliation
on
this
project,
they're
a
little
behind
due
to
weather
and
what
have
you
but
we're
seeing
the
light
at
the
end
of
the
tunnel
in
this
project,
great
facilities
used
all
the
time.
C
Citywide
street
improvement
project
main
thing
to
report
to
the
council
is
that
we'll
have
our
first
project,
we'll
open
bids
on
that
february
16th
and
that's
going
to
be
primarily
what
we're
calling
the
sidewalk
improvements,
just
miscellaneous
construction
items
that
are
all
throughout
the
city
and
then
we'll
be
following
about
every
two
weeks
with
other
projects
and
really
moving
that
up.
That's
the
hottest
project
in
the
engineering
department
right
now.
I
want
to
get
this.
This
work
out
on
the
street
and
rolling.
C
Private
development-
I
don't
need
to
get
into
that,
but
that
just
gives
you
a
listing
of
all
the
various
subdivisions.
A
lot
of
work
we're
getting
a
lot
of
plans
coming
in
through
the
engineering
office,
which
is
great
a
lot
of
folks
want
to
build
their
dream
homes
and
our
community
projects
out
to
bid
or
in
design
the
highway
71
lighting
project.
We've
got
final
plans
on
that.
C
We've
got
a
few
comments
to
get
back
to
the
design
team
and
then
that
one's
going
to
get
cranked
out
we've
got
the
east
bank
fire
station.
The
design
is
underway,
working
on
an
ada
restroom
for
tinsley
we're
also
working
on
a
restroom
for
the
clifford
allman
park,
got
a
south
boston,
miscellaneous
capital
improvement
project
and
then
we're
looking
at
the
highway.
71
left
turn
lane
at
golden
meadows
subdivision.
C
C
C
To
begin
design
on
left
turn
lane
extension
for
access
to
I-220
at
la-3,
benton
road
and
recently
clinton
myself
and
mr
john
kelly.
The
traffic
engineering
superintendent
are
looking
at
bringing
what
we're
calling
a
traffic
signalization
modernization
project
to
the
council.
C
We
had
a
meeting
regarding
some
of
the
fema
grants
that
are
available
due
to
the
2020
hurricane,
so
we'll
be
looking
at
that
over
the
next
couple
of
weeks
and
see
if
there's
any
opportunities
for
bozier
there,
any
questions
ben
yes,
sir.
G
I'm
just
kind
of
curious
as
to
we're
seeing
a
lot
of
chatter
and
getting
a
lot
of
inquiries
about
how
the
new
brookshire's
in
north
bossier,
along
wimple,
road
and
airline
drive,
is
going
to
affect
traffic,
and
one
of
the
concerns
is
the
traffic
along
wimple
road
between
benton,
road
and
airline.
Okay,
especially
there
at
old
brownlee-
and
I
know
you
and
I
have
talked
about
that
and
plans
to
do
something
with
the
with
the
parish
on
old
brown
lee
road.
C
I
have
not
visited
with
the
parish
about
that.
Specifically,
I
know
with
respect
to
the
berkshires
property
and
whimple
road.
All
of
that
was
recently
upgraded
widened
from.
G
From
airline
to
lakewood,
it
was
upgraded
right,
but
from
airline
to
benton
road
along
wimple
along
near
old
brownlee.
Okay,
where
I
mean
there's
concerns
about
having
a
light
there
there's
concerns
about
the
speed.
There's
concerns
about
the
way
the
road
is
is
actually
engineered
right
now,
the
it's
hard
to
see
traffic
coming
when
you're
sitting
at
one
of
one
of
those
stop
signs.
