Description
Brighton senior citizens: new affordable housing is coming your way! Mayor Walsh joins local elected officials, along with the Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly (JCHE), to break ground on a $23 million project containing 61 affordable housing units at 132 Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton, which will be connected to JCHE's existing 700 unit Brighton campus.
A
A
We're
doing
it
actually
gonna
start
construction
is
so
exciting,
61
new
homes,
all
of
them
affordable
and
all
of
them
connected
to
this
beautiful
Brighton
campus
and
the
community
of
the
people
who
have
built
it
to
be
a
great
place,
seven
of
them
specially
chronically
homeless.
The
mayor's
initiative
were
the
first
ones
in
the
city
to
take
him
up
on
his
challenge:
seven
chronically
homeless,
elders,
I
know
Alice,
has
been
a
big
proponent
of
that
five
and
I
have
to
give
my
colleague
Remos
elfin
credit
for
this
idea.
A
Five
sweet
a
five
unit
suite
for
adults
aging
with
lifelong
developmental
disabilities.
This
is
this
is
something
to
celebrate.
Folks
see
that
life
expectancy
used
to
be
only
50
now
it's
70
and
we
need
a
special
place
that
makes
people
welcome
and
supported
in
our
larger
community
and
part
of
all
of
what
we
do
so
chairman
C
has
asked
us
to
do
that
and
we're
going
to
Parker
them
to
do
it:
49,
sort
of
standard,
regular,
affordable
units
and
14
of
our
VPS
eight
section
8.
That
means
22
these
deep
affordability.
A
The
house
in
committee,
the
legislature
all
to
get
us
the
3
million
in
capital,
the
14
MRT
vouchers,
the
DBS
operating
supports
for
that
five
units
suite
and,
of
course,
the
state,
low-income
housing
tax
credit,
which
is
bringing
another
4
million
in
equity.
Thank
you,
federal
government,
I,
don't
know
anyone
from
HUD
is
here,
but
don't
let
anyone
tell
you?
How
does
it
wonderful?
They
have
been
phenomenal.
C
A
A
A
A
Take
the
risk
and
willing
to
push
and
spend
the
time
and
energy
on
this,
and
also
a
special
guest
James
Weissman,
who
is
a
daughter
of
recently
deceased
stars,
Lewis
was
on
our
board.
She
died
a
hundred,
never
failing
to
care
about
what
we
do
and
Jane
changed
her
flight
to
be
here
with
us
today.
Our.
A
Neighbors
have
been
great,
the
Austin
Wright
until
you
see
the
write-offs,
Improvement
Association
big
supporters,
every
step
of
the
way
and,
of
course,
the
private
team,
internal
and
external
their
names
are
all
listed
on
the
program.
Every
single
one
of
them
is
a
superstar
and
fabulous
special
product.
My
fish
here
must
be
here:
Mike.
B
B
A
Aliyah-Din
every
case
they're
doing
the
beautiful
work
in
modernizing
the
buildings
we're
in
and
our
internal
team
I'm
not
going
to
list
people
names.
But
let
me
tell
you
honestly
the
truth.
If
I
knew
the
people,
if
I
only
had
the
privilege
of
walking
by
the
people
who
work
there
on
the
streets
and
saying
hello,
I
would
feel
my
life
was
rich
and
blessed
because
they're
amazing,
the
fact
that
I
get
to
work
with
them
every
day
is
almost
beyond
shocker.
Thank
you.
A
Not
only
permit
housing
be
a
new
front
door
to
our
dragon
campus,
inviting
the
neighbors
in
it
will
include
attractive
commercial
space
to
fit
into
the
neighborhood
and
welcome.
We
have
all
of
our
neighbors,
that's
part
of
our
village
center
concept
and
part
of
our
strategic
plan.
So
we're
happy
to
do
it.
We.
A
Going
to
get
right
to
it
to
kick
us
off
is
a
little
water
and
of
introducing
mayor
Walsh,
who
honestly
needs
no
introduction
in
this
building.
He
spent
so
many
times
here
in
the
last
four
years.
People
just
adore
him
even
before
he
was
elected.
He
came
here
to
meet
with
our
seniors,
no
press,
none
other
people
just
to
hear
what
people
say
to
hear
their
ideas
answer
their
questions
he's
been
a
true
leader
in
this
country
on
affordable
housing.
I
was
very
honored
when
he
named
me
to
his
housing
task
force.
A
We
worked
hard
and,
of
course,
DNG
did
an
amazing
job
at
the
housing
of
changing
city
bus
in
2030.
But
the
mayor
not
only
said
these
are
good
policies
and
mayor's,
but
I'm
putting
my
money
where
my
mouth
is
and
I
don't
know
of
any
other
name.
The
countries
actually
putting
city
money
not
just
directing
the
federal
money,
but
also
putting
city
money,
Thank,
You,
counsel,
councillor,
Thank,
You,
mayor,
that's
pretty
amazing.
A
He
was
also
the
first
big
city
mayor
to
become
an
age-friendly
City,
and
that
was
a
very
long
and
difficult
commitment
and
really
really
fabulous.
You
know
you
can
judge
a
person
like
who
they
had
around
him,
that
Emily
Shay
and
the
elderly
Commission,
who
is
the
best
in
the
world
amazing
our
folks
love
her
Sheila
Dillon
when
you
say
about
Sheila
she's,
a
housing
hero
of
unbelievable
proportions
like
Oh
Bernstein
on
the
homelessness
stuff,
nobody
better
the
business
than
those
folks
and
just
a
little
side.
The
mayor
jealous
this
morning.
D
Thank
you,
I
should
just
sit
down
and
I'll
tell
you
word.
You
know
the
reason
why
I
was
doing
the
a-trembling
really
pushed
me
internally
friendly
stuff.
It's
because
Congress
in
Catalan
was
getting
to
that
age
now,
I
want
to
make
it
I
want
to
make
sure
that
he's.
Okay
is
friendly.
I
know
that
the
people
he
works
with
the
difficult
tap
every
day.
D
C
D
Me
for
us
in
the
board
of
JC
AG,
for
your
incredible
work.
I
mean
our
business
building
many
times
in
the
program
you
run
here
and
the
residents
are
happy.
The
building
is
spectacular.
It's
immaculate
I
want
to
thank
you
for
that.
I
use
on
the
conversation
this
one
of
Commissioner
Billy
Evans,
is
here
with
us.
We
talked
about
representing
this
area
at
a
cabinet.
You
talk
about
this
great
program
as
well,
so
I
want
to
thank
you
and
the
boy
who
you
deal.
D
But
when
I
looked
at
the
list
of
folks
and
I
saw
I've,
obviously
led
by
how
Congress
my
captain
model,
who
fights
every
single
day,
to
make
sure
that
the
people
of
historic
district
people
Massachusetts
get
what
they
deserve.
Have
a
friend
Lincoln
down.
Washington
means
a
great
deal
to
have
Emily,
Shay
and
Alice
Bonner
and
and
I
put
them
at
the
Commissioner
of
elderly
Affairs
for
the
city
and
the
secretary
in
the
state.
D
These
two
ladies,
come
to
events
all
the
time
they
come
and
they
get
things
done
you're
on
the
same
page,
there
is
no
there's
no
line
between
the
state
in
the
city
when
it
comes
to
our
elderly.
We
make
sure
that
we
move
forward
so
again,
I
want
to
thank
them.
Both
cemeteries,
well
known
for
a
long
time.
The
work
of
Susan
that
I
know
Susan's
will
work
workaholic
and,
if
she's
involved
in
a
project,
it's
going
to
get
done
and
the
other
names
in
the
list.
D
The
same
thing
we
know
what
sitting
on
senator
Warren's
office,
so
that
makes
it
specialty
actor.
I
want
to
give
a
special
shout
out
to
to
Kevin
Holman,
who
for
probably
for
well
over
a
decade,
was
the
chair
of
Housing
and
Urban
Development
announced
representers
in
his
second
frankness
on
almost
every
single
housing
program
in
the
cut
in
the
Commonwealth
over
the
last
over
a
decade,
because
he
is
put
together
any
story
about
bond
how
the
barbells
and
I
was
here
in
the
house
holding
on
that
and
when
Cameron
did
his
buildings
ever
controversial.
D
D
We're
investing
in
this
project,
2.25
million,
but
what
was
invested
in
the
city
of
Boston
last
three
years
in
4,100
is
around
100
million
dollars
from
the
include
redevelopment
money,
and
now
we
have
a
teeny
persuasion
when
we
put
a
budget
forward
that
budget
goes
onto
the
City
Council.
The
person
who
receives
that
budget
is
Marciano
a
chairman
of
ways
and
means
and
city
council
anything
worse
than
us.
It
works
to
make
sure
that
programs,
not
just
here
in
Austin
Brighton,
get
funded.
D
You
want
to
make
sure
that
seeing
programs
other
programs
around
the
Hama
see
is
funny
because
we
understand
that
he's
the
district
city
council,
you
represent
the
entire
city
blocks
in
his
role
at
ways
and
means
chair.
So
I
want
to
thank
Mark
for
his
support
and
his
friendship
and
actually
first
guidance
in
making
sure
that
we
get
the
money
here,
but
also
all
the
other
project
is
oh.
Thank
you
mind.
F
D
Not
going
to
vote
you
one,
we
know
the
project.
61
units
are
housing,
money
from
the
city,
money
from
the
state
way
for
a
lot
of
different
places,
money
from
philanthropic
support.
Thank
you
very
much.
Expansion
of
the
vibrant
and
started
community
here
in
2014
when
we
put
out
a
plan
how
they
plan
to
create
53
thousand
units
of
new
housing
by
the
Year
2035
out
of
the
homes
units
are
dedicated
for
senior
citizens,
see,
is
Boston's
fastest
growing
demographic
group
and
one
of
the
most
economically
challenged.
D
So
when
we
talk
about
the
senior
plan,
we
actually
are
looking
at
the
issue:
demonic,
economy
for
people
as
well,
something
that's
important
people
see
is
or
also
of
people
who
build
our
city.
We
all
of
the
debt
of
gratitude
and
we
have
a
lots
of
large
number
I
get
frustrated
when
I
did
this
talk
of
attacking
immigrants,
because
many
of
our
seniors
remarried,
but
my
parents
who
came
to
this
country
actually
helped
build
this
country
built
the
church
is
built,
the
Senate
dogs.
D
Do
it
the
streets
built
the
waterways
did
all
of
the
hard
work
that
other
people
wouldn't
do.
So
it's
important
for
us
as
we
continue
to
look
at
our
seniors.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
we
continue
to
work
with
them,
but
also
learn
from
them.
This
morning,
as
Amy
said,
I
did
spend
some
time
to
time
the
dining
room
with
seniors
with
the
seniors
who
live
in
this
go
and
tell
in
this
room,
and
people
are
talking
about
issues
of
what
well
c'mon
in
national
politics.
D
That
was
the
biggest
kind
of
theme
of
the
day
and
they
told
them
that,
regardless,
what
happens
in
Washington
and
I
did
want
a
little
bit
about
the
concerns
about
the
Affordable
Care
Act,
which
might
have
honest
fight
for,
but
I
talked
about.
Listening
Massachusetts,
your
elected
officials
will
go
rallying
around
to
make
sure
that
we
cut
the
pain
that
potentially
could
happen
on
Washington
we're
out
of
the
state
or
out
of
the
city.
We
need
to
do
better
than
that.
We
will
this
housing
plan
that
we're
talking
about
today.
D
I
represent
an
opportunity
to
continue
to
build
on
our
plan,
probably
for
senior
citizens.
I
want
to
thank
Amy
and
her
team
for
the
great
work
she's
done
it.
One
of
the
things
is
that
honor
on
earth
law
is
the
seven
satisfied
units
for
chronically
homeless
Elvis
we
took
on
when
I
say
we
collectively
we
took
on
the
challenge
in
2014,
President
Obama
came
down
and
access
to
end
trying
to
end
chronic
veterans,
homelessness
in
the
city
of
Awesome.
We
took
that
challenge.
D
D
We're
going
to
continue
to
do
that
work
as
a
partner
all
of
us,
because
we
all
care
about
razo
primary
matera,
so
these
elbows
will
happen.
Support
meetings
are
not
just
elite
going
to
put
seniors
in
the
building,
we're
actually
in
a
wrap
around
services
around
them,
so
they
don't
feel
so.
They
have
an
opportunity
to
be
successful.
D
I'm
just
grateful
today
for
our
state
partners
and
federal
partners.
People
may
not
want
to
talk
about
how
you
know.
There's
a
lot
of
animosity
and
division
in
this
country
with
Democrats
Republicans
there
is,
but
in
Massachusetts
we
seem
to
know
how
to
work
it
right.
We
work
together
understanding
when
you
have
a
common
goal
in
the
common
goal
to
a
senior
citizens
and
quoting
honesty,
I'm
allegation
upon
the
glory
days
welcomed
in
our
city
and
our
state
poet.
We
work
closely
together
and
well
together,
because
that's
how
we
were
14.
D
It's
an
honor
to
be
here
today
anyway.
Thank
you,
I'm,
sorry,
I
am
sneaking
out.
We
give
a
lot
of
Jim
and
Marjorie
when,
if
you
City
and
Brighton,
it
was
easier
in
Allen
to
the
walking
Hall
divider,
so
I'm
going
to
spike
it
with
the
bikes
got
a
wild
Rock
coffee,
but
I
want
to.
Thank
you
all
have
a
great
day.
A
A
Capuano
knows
responses
as
well:
I'll
see
you,
okay,
hello,
and
he
does
he's
always
delivered.
So
we
knew
that
the
throws
of
us
in
the
affordable
housing
field
know
what
you
didn't
say
in
the
article,
which
is
that
you
have
been
the
person
fighting
year
after
year
relentlessly
entirely
for
affordable
housing.
Every
single
form
you
use
fought
for
more
money
is
what
for
fixing
regulations
that
didn't
make
sense.
He
fought
for
services
to
help
people
in
their
housing.
It's
so
well
known
that
in
fact,
sort
of
a
bad
thing.
A
For
me
when
I
go
to
meetings
with
my
colleagues
in
other
states,
and
we
all
thought
about
what
we're
going
to
do
it
at
the
end
of
us,
they
want
you
to
rehearse.
What
are
you
going
to
say
to
your
Congressman
and
they
go
around
the
room
and
then
I
go
so
well.
My
congressman
liked
a
lot
on
this.
Oh
and
you
have
to
listen
to
him
because
he
can
tell
you
more
than
you
can
help
me.
So
then
I
don't
get
a
roll.
So
sorry.
I
And
Mark
and
me
you
might
meet
in
one
way
we
really
do.
It
is
because
exactly
what
I
said,
we
don't
fight
about
the
goals.
We
have
differences,
sometimes
about
how
to
get
from
where
we
are
to
where
we
want
to
baby,
because
it's
not
always
easy.
It
is
difficult.
We
have
to
make
tough
choices,
but
there's
no
fights
about
the
basics.
I
wish
I
could
say
that
in
Washington,
it's
just
the
opposite.
That's
pretty
much!
All
we
fight
about
I
want
to
be
real
clear
on
these
kinds
of
projects.
I
It
used
to
be
I
really
don't
know
this
projects
been
here
as
long
as
I
can
remember
so.
I,
don't
know
that
before,
but
I'm
willing
to
bet
that
the
first
building
built
in
this
complex
was
probably
built
almost
entirely
with
one
or
two
federal
grants.
What
the
federal
government
is
a
one
who's
made
it
hot
who's
made
it
impossible
to
do
that,
which
is
crazy.
It
is
much
that
everybody
who
cares
about
a
fertilized
egg
has
to
go
to
15
different
funders
to
try
to
keep
it
together
that
do
this.
I
Now,
the
of
it
and
another
15
different
funders
to
provide
the
services
once
you
have
to
build
it,
it
didn't
used
to
be
that
way.
It
doesn't
have
to
be
that
way.
Unfortunately,
it
is
we're
still
having
those
fights
now.
Let
me
be
also
clear
about
something
else,
most
of
the
money
in
all
of
these
projects.
I,
don't
know
about
this
one
I'm
guessing
just
from
topping
it
60
to
70
percent
of
the
money.
It's
probably
traceable
directly
to
the
federal
government.
I
I
But,
let's
be
honest,
if
the
federal
government
gets
out
of
his
business
instead
of
being
able
to
do
ten
projects
a
year
whatever
it
is,
we
can
do
across
the
state
we'll
be
lucky
to
do
one
and
the
same
thing
is
the
city
to
be
lucky.
You
do
want
eighty
years
and,
as
you
all
know
here
in
Boston
Massachusetts,
we
don't
argue
about
the
desire,
but
they're
more
affordable
housing,
especially
for
our
seniors.
We
want
to
do.
We
just
ask
you
how
to
say,
find
outside
finding
the
properties
and
getting
them
together.
I
I
I
Yesterday
and
that's
just
the
beginning,
CDBG
get
decimated
the
low
income
tax
credit,
which
is
the
whole
engine
tax
credit
from
your
federal
taxes,
gets
decimated
across
the
board.
Why
do
you
think
there's
nobody
from
HUD
here
today?
The
good
civil
servants
did
great
people,
then
not
the
blob.
Who
is
a
president
who
hasn't
even
bothered
to
appoint
a
Regional
Director
six
months
in,
and
it
would
be
one
thing
if
that
is
the
only
job,
but
that's
true
across
the
board.
It's
true
and
transportation.
I
In
the
EPA,
every
winner,
the
people
actually
have
to
make
decisions
have
not
been
appointed.
Those
are
the
flights
were
having
and
it's
not
just
housing.
It
is
the
environment.
Anybody
here
was
dirty
here.
Anybody
wants
dirty
water,
that's
easy!
It's
the
same
thing:
there
immigration,
you
hear
it
every
day,
I'm
guessing
that
most
of
the
people
within
this
building,
our
moons
I,
don't
know
the
percentage,
but
I
bet
she's,
pretty
hot.
I
I
My
mother
Rita
Garvey
from
Austin.
You
think
the
Irish
will
beloved
no,
they
weren't.
Now
they
have
150
years
later.
Think
the
Italians
were
welcomed.
It
is
not
new,
it
is
an
old
story
and
if
you
sit
back
and
allow
them
to
do
it
to
a
few
people
who
have
fallen
country
today,
because
they
have
problems
in
those
countries.
I
There
are
bad
people
in
every
group
and
the
focus
on
that
is
offensive,
so
I'll
get
today
again
congratulate
the
jch
E&E
me
for
doing
another,
great
job,
doing
breaking
ground
every
week
and
it's
fantastic
d
had
people
who
are
hungry
and
pushing
to
do
that.
You
have
to
to
create
new
methods
to
do
the
projects
that
we
all
want.
I
But
you
all
have
this
national
fight
as
well
and
I
just
need
to
be
very
quick.
I,
don't
know
what
we
can
win.
I,
don't
know
we
can
stop,
but
I
know
if
you
just
don't
pay
attention
or
if
you
think
it's
not
neat
I'm,
not
the
time.
I
guarantee
you'll
be
the
target.
Next,
that's
not
what
we
do
here
in
Massachusetts,
it's
not
what
we
do
in
Boston.
We
welcome.
I
Austin
Brighton
is
a
classic
example
you're,
a
myriad
of
this
country,
everybody
lives
here,
and
we
get
along
rich
people,
poor
people,
that's
what
we're
fighting
for,
and
that's
what
you're
fighting
for.
That's.
Why
we
here
today
to
recognize
one
more
set:
a
positive
step
in
the
fight
to
make
this
country
just
a
little
bit
better
for
a
handful
of
people
who
I
as
a
taxpayer
and
as
an
American,
and
probably
that
my
money
used
this
way
and
proud
that
most
of
my
constituents
feel
the
same
way.
Thank
you
for
being
supportive
of
the
programs.
B
A
A
B
B
A
And
is
also
a
horse
in
the
field
she
has
been
working
tirelessly
to
make
Massachusetts
the
first
state
to
be
both
age
friendly
and
dementia,
friendly
of
the
whole
state
and
her
on
the
ground.
Creativity
and
flexibility
make
Massachusetts
the
place
for
innovation
and
for
advancing
the
field,
and
we
are
so
honored
to
be
her
partner
in
those
efforts.
F
Dickinson
hospital
in
westfield
up
very
shortly,
but
I
absolutely
have
to
rearrange
my
morning
to
be
here
for
this
event
today
is
just
so
unbelievable
what
g,
CAG
and
all
of
you
all
of
our
partners
have
been
able
to
accomplish
in
this.
Probably
my
third
or
so
events,
although
this
is
the
first
time
I
got
to
use
a
shovel
in
the
head,
exciting.
K
F
This
organization
is
about
the
heart
and
soul
of
communities
and
how
we
can
build
housing
and,
as
authority
said,
wrap
services
around,
so
that
we
can
meet
the
vision
that
that
we
have
in
Elder
affairs
and
Emily
and
her
team
have,
and
all
of
us
have,
which
is
that
older
people
and
people
with
disabilities
with
access
to
the
resources
that
they
need
to
live
well
and
thrive
in
every
single
community
that
they
are
eating.
All
of
us
are
aging
with
purpose
in
dynamic
communities,
and
when
we
were
here.
C
C
F
Months
ago,
actually,
for
their
few
months
ago,
you
know
we
spent
today
with
seniors.
We
were
serving
meals
and
watching
Chinese
dancers
and
ulcers
of
wonderful
programming
here
and
I.
Think
the
governor
was
really
struck
with
the
opportunity
that
we
have
to
create
these
kinds
of
environments
and
again.
G
H
F
Again,
you
know
going
out
to
Northampton
going
to
Franklin
County
going
to
the
Berkshires,
it's
a
very
different
environment,
very
rural
there's,
there's
different
types
of
challenges:
there's
different
types
of
housing
but
Amy,
the
team
and
jcg
are
proving
that
we
can
get
past
the
complexities,
the
bureaucracy
and
we
can
figure
out
ways
to
get
this
done,
and
that
is
what
is
so
special
about
this
organization.
So
you
know
on
behalf
of
governor
baker
and
secretary
Merrigan
centers.
F
We
are
engaged
right
now
in
a
new
endeavor,
which
is
the
governor
has
established
a
council
to
address
Aging
in
Massachusetts.
We
have
two
more
listening
sessions
left
we're
going
to
be
down
the
Cape
and
then
we're
going
to
be
out
back
in
the
Berkshires
again
and
at
the
first
two
listening
sessions.
F
We
have
heard
over
and
over
and
over,
about
the
need
for
affordable,
accessible
housing
and
to
be
for
volunteer
opportunities
and
employment
opportunities
and
the
opportunities
for
music,
advanced
and
art
and
literature,
and
the
things
that
you
know
enrich
our
lives
as
all
of
us,
our
gang
older.
So
this
is
the
mom.
This
is
a
model,
but
this
is
really
a
tremendous
way
that
we
can
think
about
how
we
will
across
the
Commonwealth
and
can
hopefully
scale
some
of
the
wonderful
work
and
wonderful
versus
here.
So
I
really
really
appreciate.
Being
here.
F
All
of
you
today
I
know
it's
going
to
be
a
wonderful
rest
of
the
event
and
rest
of
the
day
and
just
to
reiterate,
we
should
all
be.
There
asked
at
demonstrations
with
congressman
at
law
and
everyone
else
so
that
we
have
the
funds
that
we
need
in
the
state
to
be
able
to
do
this
person.
So
thank
you
so
much.
A
B
A
Not
a
floor
she's
boss
boards
in
the
state
legislature
for
all
good
things
about
affordable
housing.
There
isn't
a
single
piece
of
good
legislation
that
promotes
what
we
do
and
it
key
isn't
the
lead
sponsor
for
our
co-sponsor,
but
usually
the
lead
sponsor
and
every
time
that
those
bond
funds
start
to
trickle
out
and
kate
smells
the
alarm
bell.
A
F
A
Frightened
it
home
turf,
we
get
a
lot
of
attention,
so
we
did
a
lot
of
constituent
service
as
well
on
the
little
issues
on
the
big
issues
and
I
kind
of
wish,
because
that
we
could
claim
special
status.
But
I
know
for
the
fact
that
he's
a
best
friend
to
all
community.
They
support
a
wild
and
developer
silly
little
discipline
special
status,
but
that
a
giant
our
he's
got
room
for
us
all.
A
L
L
31
years
ago,
when
I
was
first
elected,
this
was
my
district
with
21
precinct
13
and,
as
you
know,
we
go
through
redistricting
on
occasion,
so
I
lost
the
precinct
in
redistricting,
but
I've
never
lost
my
contact
here.
We've
always
through
political
campaigns
with
Mayor
Walsh
and
us,
with
Mayor
Flynn
and
with
Mayor
Menino,
always
maintained
such
a
great
relationship
with
the
residents
here.
Truly,
we
want
to
recognize
the
extraordinary
residents
and
not
is
here
not
is
96
years
old
and
I
am.
L
L
You
know
we
absolutely
love
cars
and
capilano.
He
is
such
a
champion
for
working
men,
women
about
Commonwealth
in
our
country.
You
heard
him
today
we
mock
siomai,
myself,
have
the
privilege
of
hearing,
and
so
often
he's
just
a
giant
in
Washington,
and
we
thank
you
for
everything
you
do
for
our
neighborhood.
L
I
mean
that
know
we
love
you
and
with
Mayor
Walsh
he
has
made
housing,
affordable
housing
such
a
priority
in
our
city
and
communities.
Don't
always
welcome
housing,
I'm,
all
around
and
state
and
as
resistance
in
certain
communities.
Even
though
there's
an
acknowledged
need
for
more
affordable
housing
to
be
built,
we
sometimes
encounter
some
resistance.
Mayor
wall
stands
up.
He
knows
the
future
of
our
Commonwealth
about
for
our
city.
L
We
need
housing
for
all
people,
so
I
thank
the
mayor
for
his
leadership
and,
as
you
know,
I
think
there's
three
million
dollars
in
state
funds
here,
4
million
and
equity
from
the
low-income
housing
tax
credits
and
many
people
have
been
mentioned.
Who
have
done
such
extraordinary
work
here
and
I
would
like
to
joy.
Add
a
few
names.
We
speak
to
Leo
and
Senate
President
Stan
Rosenberg
have
always
been
supportive,
Governor
Baker
and
crystal
Quanah
gay
I
always
enjoy
so
much
working
with
Kate
racer
at
the
state
level.
She
does
such
extraordinary
work
she's.
L
And
now
you
have
Harry
and
Jeanette
Weinberg
and
during
the
Depression
Harry
and
his
brother
William
bought
housing
during
the
Depression
when
everyone
was
losing
everything
fixed
up
the
housing
and
sold
it
for
a
profit
and
then
got
into
transportation,
bought
a
lot
of
property
in
Baltimore
and
in
Hawaii
a
great
investment
for
what
even
50s
through
to
thought.
No
one
have
why
and
buying
it
up
in.
L
L
Jch
e,
the
Brighton
campus
here,
is
a
special
place.
Our
seniors
access,
safe
and
affordable
housing,
I
always
think
about
the
weather
and
all
in
Boston
and
the
North
East,
and
how
icy
and
snowy,
but
here,
with
these
long
hallways,
you
see
how
people
can
go
out
of
their
apartment.
Walk
these
long
hallways
stay
healthy,
the
extraordinary
amount
of
social
services
and
programming
that
is
provided
here
at
JCCC
AG.
It
extends
people's
lives.
L
I
know
the
table
tennis
whenever
I
come
in
here
and
I'm,
pretty
good
at
that
I
learned
at
the
West
End
House
boys
and
girls,
both
and
so
I
will
challenge
people
to
table
tennis
anyway.
I
am
honored
and
privileged
to
be
here.
This
is
an
extraordinary
campus,
extraordinary
program
which
is
so
excited
about
the
new
units.
We
thank
all
the
partners
who
are
involved
here
and
we
look
forward
forward
to
working
with
you
in
the
future.
Amy
again.
A
I
told
my
introductions
are
going
to
one
kind
of
China:
China
Marciano
is
our
City
Council.
The
mayor
may
have
talked
about
in
this
chairman
of
ways
and
means,
but
all
the
stuff
he
goes
for
the
city,
but
he's
our
city
council
he's
our
local
guy.
We
never
fail
to
be
there
for
us
and
everything
that
matters
and
local
government
really
matters
in
people's
lives.
The
streets
don't
get
clean
and
the
sidewalks
aren't
feel
like.
That
is
what
makes
a
difference
on
the
day
to
day
basis,
and
we
found
councillors.
A
You
know
every
time
we
call
he
jumps
fast
and
serious,
and
we
are
so
appreciative
he's
highly
hugely
constituent
focus,
but
he
is
also
here
from
there
keeping
the
big
picture
at
all.
Fine
about
always
being
the
support
of
affordable
housing.
He's
here,
a
lot
and
every
time
we're
grateful
to
have
him
living
day.
E
E
It's
really
really
exciting
for
me
to
meet
you
today
at
this
groundbreaking
she's,
almost
open.
Almost
25
years
ago,
I
before
I
got
elected
to
the
City
Council
Evans
me,
director
of
the
senior
Sun,
went
down
the
road,
so
I've
been
a
partner
with
the
which
AC
18
for
many
years
and
I
acceptance
a
not
only
the
great
housing
that
they
provide,
but
they
set
the
gold
standard
for
servicing
elderly
as
well,
yet
other
services
that
they
provide.
So
are
they
the
board
and
residents
who
are
all
advocate.
E
Gym
bag
aside
many
times
over
the
years
and
I
was
commenting,
congressman
kappa
violence
that
retirees
they
know
it's
a
much
younger
man
and
you
know
instead
of
widened,
they
could
underutilize
nobody
not
for
almost
25
years.
I
think
and
I
was
so
happy
when
it
was
interest
in
the
building
and
the
RFP
went
out
and
I
couldn't
have
been
more
thrilled
when
JC
18
one
bit
and
a
supporter
of
that
bid.
I'm
so
glad
that
we're
here
today
for
some.
E
Pom-Poms
and
kappa
kappa
waaat,
said
earlier:
we're
all
friends
is
a
friend
a
fierce
advocate.
I
want
to
thank
you
for
all
that
you
do
for
our
constituents
and
also
great
community
kevin
horn.
Again,
a
dear
friend
a
partner,
someone
that
I
turned
to
on
a
daily
basis
literally
to
serve.
Our
exhibition
was
an
awesome
way.
So
I
want
to
thank
represented
Pony
mayor
Marty,
Walsh
I'm,
going
to
make
a
covenant
of
confession.
I
was
with
Martin
Walsh
and
ran
for
mayor,
but
I'm,
a
big
big
supporter
now
and
I
agree
with
him.
E
And
finally,
you
know
I
have
the
background
and
help
it
with
the
elderly
and
we're
known
as
kind
of
a
college
sound,
but
we
also
have
one
of
the
higher
percentages
of
elderly
and
big
61
units.
Again,
the
you
know,
city
is
society
as
measured
on
how
they
treat
their
most
vulnerable
and
the
fact
that
we're
doing
homeless
or
critically
homeless,
housing
and
severely
disabled
policy.
It's
critically
important
for
us
to
continue
to
do
what
we
need
to
do
more.
A
A
Not
been
paying
attention
to
anything,
if
you
don't
already
know
that
Senator
Warren
is
a
tireless
advocate
for
all
of
us
for
older
adults,
working
with
us,
retired
adults,
unemployed,
adults,
young
adults,
children,
everyone
else
and
as
a
member
of
the
Senate
Committee
on
Aging
I'm
sure
you
know
that
she's
protecting
our
Social
Security,
Medicare
and
Medicaid.
You
must
not
know
that
she's
also
taken
up
a
new
cause.
B
Thank
you
so
much
Aryan.
Thank
you,
everyone
for
for
having
me
here
today,
defender
really
wishes
she
could
be
here
today
in
person.
She
is
filled
out
in
DC
this
morning,
but
just
want
to
thank
you
know
everyone
in
Jewish,
community
housing
for
the
elderly
for
all
the
hard
work
that
you
do
and
have
done
for
years
want
to
mention.
Of
course,
you
know
mayor
Walsh
such
a
fantastic
port,
a
fantastic
partner
for
us.
B
Alright,
alright
I,
you
know
the
mayor
spent
just
so
amazing
on
housing
issues
and
so
great
to
have
a
partner
like
that
in
the
city.
Here,
of
course,
congressman
Capuano
thumbs
up
nicely
when
he
talked
about
the
role
of
the
federal
government
here
in
making
projects
like
this
happening-
and
you
know
the
fight
that
a
little
bit
is-
is
focusing
on
everyday
down
Washington
to
try
to
make
sure
that
these
funds
don't
disappear
and
that
we
keep
security
money
for
things
like
this,
as
matter
redbone
in
councilor
or
CMO.
It's
just
so.
B
B
You
know
Amy
mentioned
that
in
the
senator
is
a
member
of
the
Committee
on
Aging
she's
really
proud
to
be
part
of
that
committee.
You
know
she's
sorted
on
that
committee
because
she
wanted
to
continue
her
work
on
consumer
issues
and,
as
you
know,
fraud
and
consumer
based
issues.
You
know
hit
elderly
folks,
especially
hard
through
that
she's
been
able
to
advocate.
B
Like
you
mentioned,
you
know,
for
Medicare
for
Social
Security,
but
housing
is
a
huge,
huge
component
of
that
making
sure
that
there's
quality,
affordable
housing
is
a
major
major
piece
in
making
sure
that
all
Americans
are
able
to
age.
You
know
with
dignity
and
as
comfortably
as
possible,
so
I
just
want
to
thank
JC
AG
for
all
the
hard
work
that
you've
done,
and
we've
mentioned
you.
B
A
Of
D
H
DVD
H
TV
is
an
amazing
agency
where
people
actually,
what
has
my
career
man,
the
first
thing
I
think
I
used
to
work
at
the
TV,
because
I
consider
that
an
amazing
badge
of
honor
they
helped
us
so
many
ways.
I
confess
I,
just
met
two
today,
but
already
I
can
tell
you
for
sure.
The
word
gracious
is
the
absolute
best
word
to
describe
intelligent,
supportive,
really,
really
gracious,
and
we
appreciate
that
DHCD
is
put
in
capital
m
and
the
vouchers
into
the
state
and
burning
different
heart
that
the
ativy
has
participated.
A
C
A
G
Good
morning
such
an
honor
to
be
here
representing
not
only
the
Department
of
Housing
Community
Development
and
under
secretary
Carnegie,
but
also
the
Baker
Pulido
administration,
the
administration's
priorities
include
making
sure
that
there
is
affordable
quality
housing
across
the
Commonwealth
for
all
of
our
residents.
But
here
at
the
HPD
is
incredibly
and
especially
proud
to
been
able
to
partner
with
Amy
and
her
team,
to
make
this
project
this
project
that
focuses
on
our
senior.
G
That
makes
sure
the
seniors
have
a
place
where
they
can
age
with
dignity,
purpose
and
comfort
in
this
isn't
just
a
project
where
we've
been
able
to
pull
together
partners
across
state
government.
It's
a
project
that
is
cool
together
partners
across
state
government
to
create
a
model
to
create
something:
that's
going
to
be
the
envy
of
other
states
to
create
something
that
people
can
follow
it's
tax,
and
this
is
a
project
that
didn't
happen
without
the
support
of
all
the
people.
G
Chp
DEA
was
able
to
work
not
only
with
our
own
amazing
tom,
brady's,
kate,
racer
and
her
team,
but
also
Expedia
with
Department
of
Developmental
Services.
We
worked
with
Elder
affairs.
This
is
really
a
project
where
everyone
came
together.
Amy
said
it
takes
a
village,
and
this
does
take
a
in
the
village.
It
was
created
by
our
village
and
we're
so
incredibly
proud
at
the
HTV
in
the
administration
to
have
a
department.
Congratulations
and
it's
beautiful
and.
A
That
was
kind
of
a
twofer,
because
I
guess
introduce
you
to
Dickinson
and
have
our
representative
King.
Everyone
knows
that
HP.
Has
this
amazing
reputation
be
delightful
to
work
that
they're
so
consumer-focused
it
anytime.
You
want
to
work
with
them,
they
are
there
for
you,
and
we
have
found,
has
to
be
absolutely
true
negotiating
anything
about
this.
Permit
Court
has
been
a
pleasure
and
then
there's
truth
and
judy
is
independent.
A
Agent
is
the
person
we
call
when
we
needed
advice
and
in
fact
recently
we
call
there,
because
we
were
just
puzzled
by
that
handle
something
it
ever
become.
Let's
call
Judy
Jacobson,
she's,
always
really
goodness
working
from
solving
the
problem,
so
I
really
pleased
to
have
Jude
represent
both
MHP
and
herself.
K
Well,
congratulations
to
JC
HG,
mayor
Walsh
in
the
city
of
Boston.
All
of
us
at
MHP
are
very
excited
to
be
providing
a
forty-year
2.2
million
dollar
loan
to
help
make
the
Weinberg
house
a
reality,
because
the
bustling
camp
is
here
with
housing
as
the
foundation,
but
offering
so
much
more
is
a
testament
to
the
fact
that
Boston
is
a
city
that
knows
how
to
treat
seniors
well.
K
All
too
often
seniors
are
isolated,
but
not
here
not
in
Boston,
where
you
so
enthusiastically
embraced,
Aging
in
community
and
MHP,
with
the
strong
support
of
undersecretary
Korda
Gaye
and
the
Baker
administration.
We
do
our
best
to
encourage
communities
across
the
state
to
emulate
Boston's
commitment
to
housing,
diversity
and
Housing
Choice,
because,
as
fabulous
is
Amy
and
her
team
and
Sheila
and
her
team
are
Clausen
can't
do
it
alone.
We
need
all
communities
in
the
Commonwealth
to
be
part
of
the
housing
solution.
K
We
salute
state
representative
housing
champion
Kevin
Honan
for
his
efforts
to
pass
legislation
to
make
this
a
reality
and
a
big
thank
you
to
congressman
Capuano
and
Senator
Warren
for
their
tireless
efforts
to
make
sure
that
the
federal
government
is
a
partner.
We
are
using
HUD
and
US
Treasury
resources
for
the
Weinberg
house.
So
please,
please,
don't
let
up.
Today,
MHP
has
provided
almost
340
million
dollars
to
support
over
7,000
apartment
homes
in
the
city
of
Boston.
K
H
And
to
the
book
to
the
Borah
end,
staff
and
great
facility
board
members
here
for
the
great
efforts
to
bring
the
project
is
a
long-standing
effort
to
the
point
of
getting
into
construction.
How
satisfying
and
Amy
has
let
us
know,
Jay
Phe
is
the
premier
nonprofit
elderly,
housing,
developer
and
service
providers.
Amy
and
team
set
the
standard
for
thoughtful
physical
and
program
design
to
meet
the
needs
of
elders
and
allow
for
Aging
in
community.
H
Fund,
which
supports
deeply
affordable,
highly
targeted
to
the
lowest
income
individuals
in
the
project
and
I
would
be
remiss
if
I
didn't
note
that
these
programs
come
about
because
of
the
support
of
the
legislature
and
chairman
Onan,
who
will
be
sitting
next
Tuesday
in
a
public
hearing
on
the
latest
housing
body
building
is
trying
to
recapitalize
these
important
programs,
and
we
thank
you
for
your
continued
support
that
allows
projects
like
this
to
move
forward.
The
states
and
the
paper
from
the
administration
has
been
taking
supportive
housing
very
seriously.
H
They've
got
an
interagency
effort
that
involves
25,
odd
agencies,
trying
to
work
together
to
coordinate
all
the
complexities
of
it.
Last
year
alone,
the
state
awarded
funding
to
47
supportive
housing
projects
creating
just
under
five
hundred
units.
This
is
one
of
them.
This
is
going
to
be
the
best
one
and
we're
so
thrilled
to
be
part
of
it,
and
good
luck
during
the
construction
process.
A
So
Jennifer
Crafton
is
here
representing
Wells,
Fargo,
Bank
and
I.
Don't
know
if
there's
such
a
thing
as
a
three-fer,
but
this
is
a
three-fer,
because
they're
purchasing
the
state
taxes
and
federal
tax
credits
and
they're
providing
our
construction
law,
which
is
greatly
simplifying
the
whole
phase
of
the
financing.
This
is
our
third
year
with
Wells
Fargo,
which
tells
you
a
great
deal
about
how
we
feel.
M
Good
morning,
as
Amy
said,
Wells
Fargo
has
the
privilege
here
to
be
the
equity
investor
in
the
federal
and
state
credits,
as
well
as
for
our
debt
partners
to
provide
the
construction
loan
facility.
Thank
you
for
G
2.jpg
for
collecting
Wells
to
be
involved
in
this
important
work.
We
are
honored
to
contribute
towards
the
creation
of
this
innovative
project
and
we
always
appreciate
and
enjoy
the
opportunity
to
work
with
your
team
of
compliment
development
professionals.
M
Thank
you
to
the
wine
drug
foundation
for
the
generous
grant
to
allow
the
project
to
serve
a
wider
range
of
seniors
and
provide
even
more
services
to
enhance
the
quality
of
life
for
the
residents
for
many
years
to
come.
We
look
forward
to
seeing
even
more
happy
seniors,
socializing
shopping,
exercising
and
moving
around
the
campus
for
their
daily
activities.
Once
again,
thank
you.
A
Matt
has
his
laws
supported
the
services
of
housing
through
the
tap,
but
recently
is
up
to
the
notch,
convening
meetings
and
and
task
forces
to
say:
let's
not
just
talk
about
bringing
other
partners
into
service,
let's
get
it
on
the
ground.
Let's
make
it
work,
and
we
really
appreciate
the
leadership
they've
shown
that
we
love
the
partnership
and.
J
Generalization
13's
returns
to
the
three
separate
people.
One
thing
reason:
I
promise,
not
to
repeat
all
of
it
that
I've
just
echo
everything
everyone
said
by
all
the
good
work
and
partners
here.
It
is
such
a
privilege
to
be
a
part
of
the
team
and
I
think
that
each
team
to
bring
together
a
closing
like
this,
as
you
can
tell
by
the
number
of
people,
represented
it's
nothing
else.
I
love
the
image.
J
J
That
aging
is
a
team
sport
and
that's
why
it
is
such
a
privilege
to
be
a
partner
of
JPG
on
the
project,
because
the
model
that
J
Phe
not
only
adheres
to
in
all
its
work,
which
has
two
advances
of
state
level
at
the
national
level
and
entity
to
all
of
us,
and
all
that
many
of
you
in
the
room
are
like
me
and
web
component
in
the
Amy
and
the
tire
work
from
the
first
people.
Is
there
kind
of
educate
us
about
how
to
better
serve
to
our
seniors.
