A
Somebody
who
I
watched
I've
had
the
great
honor
of
watching
now
for
the
last
several
years
since
I've
been
the
mayor
of
the
city
of
Boston,
watching
her
get
involved
and
right
after
the
president
came
down
with
his
threat
to
executive
order
of
immigrants,
veronica
opened
up
her
dance
studio
and
we
had
a
long
conversation
with
people
to
make
them
feel
comfortable
about.
What's
going
on
so
I
want
to
give
her
a
recognition
present
to
Veronica
and
appreciate
your
service
and
contributions
of
our
community
on
behalf
of
the
City
of
Boston.
Thank
you.
A
B
A
C
Okay,
so
I'm
not
a
very
good
speaker,
but
you
know
believe
it
or
not.
I'm
very
shy,
mr.
mayor,
sorry
about
that,
but
first
of
all
I
like
to
thank
the
community
of
this
Boston
for
giving
me
the
opportunity
to
share
what
I
know
how
to
do
best,
love
each
other
I
know.
Everybody
knows
me
like
a
hugger,
Linda
Keith.
Thank
you,
sir
I'm.
C
Pretty
sure
that
some
of
you
to
just
see
me
and
probably
you
wanna,
run
away
from
other
side
because,
like
you're,
not
gonna
hug,
you
and
kiss
you
I
prepared
some
words
because
I
have
so
many
things
to
say,
but
I
know
I
have
just
a
little
bit
of
time
to
say
so.
So,
first
of
all,
I
would
like
to
thank
the
Honorable
mayor,
Mary,
wash
for
being
such
a
great
mayor
for
everyone.
I
would
like
to
also
thank
you
for
your
support
to
the
arts
and
for
promoting
appreciation
for
diversity
and
cultural
awareness.
C
When
I
first
started
singing
at
the
age
of
15
years,
old
I
had
the
opportunity
to
sing
in
front
of
large
audiences,
because
I
was
young
and
full
of
energy
and
life.
I
identified
myself,
mostly
with
songs
about
happiness
when
I
saw
that
I
have
the
ability
to
make
the
audience
is
happy.
I
thought
that
my
job
was
to
bring
joy
to
everyone,
but
life
teaches
us
you
and
me,
and
everyone
lessons
my
husband
Willie
Lopez,
who
is
there
over
there
with
a
big
camera
right
here?
Mr.
C
C
They
taught
me
and
helped
me
realize
the
power
of
the
arts
and
culture
to
make
our
communities
our
communities
better.
The
arts
can
help
us
educate.
The
arts
can
help
us
from
our
family
values.
They
can
help
us
to
celebrate
our
heritage
and
stand
proud.
Even
when
we
face
adversity,
mariachi
music
is
not
only
my
career,
it
is
also
my
passion.
It
is
by
life
through
this
art
form,
I,
be
blessed
with
the
opportunity
to
travel,
meet
people
and
to
learn
about
the
other
cultures.
C
I
have
work
to
share
this
treasure
with
youth,
but
celebrating
mariachi,
music,
music,
Cosby
Joan,
the
gray
life
experience
we
have
shared.
It
has
provided,
provided
a
way
to
invest
in
the
community
of
its
Boston.
Every
time
I
go
to
sing
out
in
out
of
the
city,
I
bring
money
to
his
past.
To
do
what
I
really
wanted
to
thank
you
in
half
inches
it
has
bridge
divides
between
generations,
national
origins
and
language.
It
has
increased
kids,
self-confidence
and
motivated
them
to
see
the
beauty
of
their
own
hard
work.
C
C
So
this
is
an
engagement
and
responsible
and
responsible
community
members
that
make
us
all
proud
in
this
moment.
This
very
moment
is
for
all
of
you
and
all
of
them
in
life.
Many
of
us
have
experienced
a
wide
range
range
of
emotions
like
I,
have
included
sadness
and
death.
We
have
been
witness
to
life,
joys
and
sorrows,
and
many
of
us
in
his
Boston.
We
have
lived
the
challenges
that
come
with
cop
with
live
in
your
home
country
and
learning
to
live
in
a
new
one.
Never
in
my
wildest
dreams
did
I.
C
Imagine
that
embracing
my
immigrant
story,
even
when
it
makes
me
feel
different,
staying
true
to
my
principles
and
using
these
feelings
as
a
starting
point
for
community
building
and
learning
will
bring
me
this
great
honor.
But
my
story
is
everybody
stories,
and
this
mural
represents
a
whole
community.
Thank
you
for
celebrating
love,
diversity
and
community.
Those
are
the
values
to
cherish
a
Guernica,
Robles
cultural
center
and
at
this
very
community
East
Austin
is
a
unique
neighborhood
that
everybody
loves
to
each
other
and
it's
a
beautiful
and
it's
a
beautiful
city.
C
A
A
Kristyn
Vikash,
our
Commissioner
of
disabilities,
10
Thank,
You
Kristen
for
being
here
as
well
and
I'll,
get
you
with
more
people
as
I
get
a
chance
now.
The
second
person,
a
very
special
fostonia
that
I
have
the
honor
to
introduce
to
acknowledge,
is
Carmelo.
Sureiy
came
to
Italy
came
to
Boston
from
Sicily
in
1930
the
open,
Kahlo's
Carmelo
catering
company,
which
is
now
known
as
Sammy
Carlos
delicatessen.
Delicatessen.
Excuse
me,
his
grandson
is
here:
Steve
is
a
son,
a
grandson
grandson
Steven
come
on
offense
theater.
A
That
story
has
not
changed
today
that
story's
the
very
same.
That
story
in
Veronica
said
it's
her
story.
That
story
is
my
story.
That's
sorry-ass,
Steven
stirring
and
I'd
like
to
present
this
to
Steven
and
an
appreciation
of
your
family's
continued
service
to
these
foster
community
for
over
75
years.
On
behalf
of
the
City
of
Boston,
thank
you
for
your
commitment.
Dedication
influence
they
you
have
displayed.
You
feel
me
displayed
on
August
we've,
given
this
day
the
24th
of
August
2017.
B
B
What
this
means
to
us
as
a
family
is
a
great
appreciation
for
what
I
believe
father
in
grandmother
who
proved
the
actual
business
certificates
Hartman's
back
in
the
day,
sacrificed
his
stop
fresh
and
open
new
doors
for
future
generations
in
order
to
have
a
better
quality
of
life
than
the
one
before
it
means
that
there
is
a
legacy
that
there
is
not
only
portrayed.
It's
not
only
portrayed
on
the
wall,
but
stories
that
are
spoken.
B
The
stories
of
kindness
and
compassion
Camello
have
the
opportunity
to
work
in
the
midst
of
his
community,
where
many
had
the
same
struggles
as
he
did.
Customers
were
friends
and
those
friendships
wove
the
fabric
of
a
supportive
community,
neighborhood
and
city.
So
when
you
see
his
portrait
on
that
wall,
don't
you
see
Kabbalah
see
many
neighbors
and
friends
of
past
and
present
that
realized
that
we
all
are
part
of
something
much
much
bigger.
Thank
you
very
much.
A
We
got
tricky,
probably
somewhere
around
here
somewhere,
where
we
try
coming
if
we
missin
anybody
yellow
reinvest
at
that
country,
but
I
get
that
I
want
the
honor
to
bring
it
now
to
represent
all
the
Consul
generals.
A
friend
of
mine
who
I've
had
the
honour
to
know
him
now
for
many
years
here
in
the
city
of
Boston.
He
truly
is
a
good
friends
of
the
City
of
Austin.
In
the
relationship
between
city,
the
city
of
Boston
and
Mexico
is
very
close.
The
Consul
General
of
Mexico
please
come
on
up.
D
Thank
You
mayor
minutes
to
say
thank
you
very
much.
You're
present
here
not
only
repair,
this
great
honor
to
Veronica
and
the
Korean
community
and
the
authors
of
that
mural,
but
to
the
Latin
America
I
am
speaking
also
on
behalf
of
my
colleague
consulate
here
present
and
certainly
to
Mexico.
The
mural
is
of
great
significance
for
Mexico.
We
have
a
mural
tradition
that
was
raised
last
century
by
Diego
Rivera
by
seek
aid
of
my
Orozco
all
over
the
country.
D
Mexico
used
neurons
to
communicate
with
community
from
you
communicate
history,
but,
among
other
things,
communicate
values,
and
this
is
what
this
mural
does.
Mr.
mayor,
it
communicates
a
true
friendship
between
Boston
and
Mexico
I'm,
really
honored
I
don't
buy
upon
my
government
and
on
behalf
of
the
Mexican
community.
We
want
to
thank
you
for
being
here
today,
such
a
great
major,
and
we
want
to
thank
also
the
authors
of
this
initiative
and
certainly
last
but
not
least,
to
my
fellow
Cohn,
a
tional
Veronica
for
all
the
work
she
has
done
here
for
the
company.
A
I'd
also
like
to
give
a
shout
out
to
represent
up
a
dire
I,
don't
see
it,
but
I
know
that
I
taught
you
on
the
phone
last
week
and
also
senator
for
me.
Senator
bond
Cory
I
got
salad,
salad,
again,
Thank
You,
Sal
and
Carol
I'm,
like
that.
Now
we
going
down
to
the
girl
all
right
now
we're
going
to
hit
that
way.
We're
gonna
follow
the
kids,
because
you
guys
look
the
best
in
front
of
us
and
take
us
down
the
street.
C
We
just
need
to
promise
now
we're
gonna
take
care
of
each
other
right
yeah.
This
is
what
we
do
in
our
family
and
I
found
knowing
many
cultures
around
the
world
and
been
friends
with
them
going
to
their
houses.
I
just
know
and
realize
that
we
all
no
matter
what,
where
are
we
from?
If
we
are
from
any
religion
or
we
are
our
skin
color
color
is
different
with
a
good
people
share
Family
Values.
We
respect
our
elders
with
respect
our
father
and
mother
to
respect
our
community,
and
this
is
what
we
are
here.
