we've
got
some
high
school
basketball
in
high
school
football
news
for
you,
but
first,
let's
take
a
look
at
some
of
the
baseball
scores
from
late
last
week.
Here
in
the
city
of
Boston,
despite
the
bad
weather,
some
teams
were
still
able
to
get
some
games
in
on
the
local
diamonds.
A
It
was
the
west
roxbury
raiders
taken
down
Fenway
11
to
1,
also
on
Friday
on
the
softball
diamond
fontbonne
took
down
Boston
Latin
three
to
two
senior
third
baseman
for
Fontbonne
ducks
Katie
Nolan
with
a
walk-off
homer
for
Fontbonne.
They
improved
to
five
and
two
then
on
Saturday.
Also
in
the
city
of
Boston,
it
was
O'bryant
taken
down:
Fenway
724,
sophomore,
Ian,
mccafe
two-run
single
for
the
O'brien
Tiger.
A
So
a
lot
of
teams
still
in
the
hunt
for
the
city
championships
with
just
a
couple
of
weeks,
left
to
go
in
the
baseball
and
softball
regular
season.
Now
to
some
news
from
the
hardwood
on
Friday
Charlestown
senior
forward,
kejuan
Platt
signed
a
national
letter
of
intent
to
play
basketball
at
Monroe
Community
College
up
in
Rochester
New
York
Platt
was
a
1,000
points,
scorer
at
Charlestown
and
averaged
well
over
20
points
and
10
rebounds
a
game
in
his
senior
season.
He
won
was
also
a
two-time
Boston,
City,
League
all-star,
so
add
key
ones.

A
list
of
many
former
Charlestown
basketball
players
who
have
gone
on
to
the
college
level.

Platt!
Meanwhile,
on
the
high
school
gridiron
Boston
Latin
Wolfpack
have
named
former
XL
high
school
football
coach
Ray
Butler
is
their
head
coach
at
Latin.
Butler
has
been
a
teacher
at
Boston,
Latin
School
for
the
past
six
seasons.
He
has
spent
three
seasons
running
the
excel
or
South
Boston
eyes
school
football
program
after
spending
the
2012
football
season.
A
As
an
assistant
for
box
Boston
Latin
Butler
is
just
a
third
a
head
football
coach
last
43
years
for
the
Wolfpack.
Will
be
replacing
John
McDonough,
who
stepped
down
in
November
after
15
seasons,
with
Latin
schools
of
congratulations
to
coach
Butler,
a
new
coach
at
xcel
high
school
in
South
Boston
has
not
yet
been
named.
