A
The
high
school
basketball
state
tournament
is
now
in
the
rearview
mirror.
Saturday
gave
us
one
last
chance
to
see
the
city's
best
and
brightest
hardwood
stars
this
season
at
the
2016
dr.
Joseph,
Warren
city,
basketball,
all-star
double-header,
and
as
always,
these
games
chalked
up
to
be
a
lot
of
fun.
That's
at
us
in
the
cabin
Center
at
Northeastern
University.
For
this
one,
you
see
to
Cora
McIntyre
for
the
South
squads,
their
fourth
straight
all-star
game
and
she
starts
off
the
game
in
a
in
a
hurry
there.
She
knocks
down
the
three
for
the
south
side.
A
They
go
up
by
five.
Then
another
two
minutes
left
to
go
in
the
first
quarter.
Jakayla
Holloman
connects
from
long
distance.
She
puts
herself
up
by
eight
fast
forwarding
out
of
the
second
quarter,
and
the
North
starts
climbing
back
into
it.
Tunisia
Drayton,
it's
the
floater
for
the
north
side.
She
cuts
the
South's
lead
down
to
six
and
then
later
in
the
quarter.
It's
Drayton
again
this
time.
The
strong
drive
to
the
goal
makes
it
a
two-point
ballgame
they're
midway
through
the
second
quarter,
and
the
South
goes
back
to
work.
A
Catherine
Coppinger
knocking
down
the
corner
three.
She
puts
herself
back
up
by
five,
then,
just
before
the
half
its
Coppinger
going
straight
to
the
rim,
she
scores
the
bucket
and
the
foul
south
go
up
27
to
19
at
the
half
3rd
quarter,
now
South
up
by
eight
Aaliyah
stoner.
It's
the
corner
at
three
for
the
North
squad
brings
the
lead
back
down
the
single
digits
and
then
later
in
the
third
quarter,
Tunisia
drayton,
the
bank
are
off
the
window
right.
A
There
brings
it
back
to
a
five-point
game,
but
we're
McIntyre
and
the
South
was
just
too
tough.
After
that,
McIntyre
drops
a
dime
inside
of
tiana
daniels
for
the
late
put
South
up
by
eight
then
later
on.
It's
McIntyre
getting
defensive.
She
gets
to
steal,
it
goes
coast-to-coast
for
the
layup.
She
kept
it
an
eight-point
game
there
late
in
the
third
quarter.
Fourth
quarter
now
me
Eric
Carter
scores
inside
for
the
South
squad.
A
As
they
go
on
to
win
this
one
40
or
50
243,
then
it
was
the
boys
turn
that's
Dan,
bunker
of
boston,
latin
academy,
coaching
the
South
squad.
They
struggled
early
first
quarter,
dev
Rayburn's
tickles.
The
twine
where
that
three
puts
the
North
up
by
five
then
later
on,
it's
never
ate
burns
again.
This
time.
From
the
other
side,
knocking
down
from
long
distance,
part
of
a
1200
run
to
start
off
the
game
for
the
north
second
quarter,
South
climbs
back
into
it.
Ty
Perry
scoring
a
transition
right.
A
There
makes
it
a
two-point
ballgame,
then
on
the
next
possession
for
the
South
squad.
It's
ty
Perry
again
this
time.
With
this
right
away,
three
gives
itself
a
one-point
lead
midway
through
the
second
quarter,
then,
just
before
the
half
Isaiah
pallonji,
with
a
wide
open
look
to
the
rim
right
there,
the
South
lead
at
the
break.
3228
third
quarter
now
one
point:
ballgame
avalide,
Eau
de
Mora
finds
Jordan
pimentel
for
the
layup
underneath
North
back
up
on
top
by
one
and
check
out
this
play.
A
I
say:
Winston
Brooks
throws
it
behind
the
back
to
Damante
Turner
for
the
layup.
We're
tied
up
at
40,
apiece
Danny
hill
then
got
it
going
for
the
North
he
comes
down
with
the
rebound
then
goes
coast-to-coast
for
the
land
puts
the
North
up
by
four
then
late.
The
third
quarter.
It's
Danny
Hill.
Once
again,
this
is
almost
like
deja
vu
goes.
The
length
of
the
floor
puts
the
North
up
by
six
late
in
the
third
quarter.
Fourth
quarter
now
North
still
cruising
Tyreke
lead
getting.
A
The
steel
gets
it
out
to
his
teammate
as
a
low-rent
for
the
jam.
North
goes
up
by
14
midway
through
the
fourth
quarter.
Then
it's
l'wren
off
the
pimentel
miss
here
he's
gonna
get
the
rebound
put
it
back
up
and
in
as
the
North
goes
on,
to
win
72
263,
always
a
good
time
at
the
all-city
basketball
classic.
A
Now,
during
the
break
in
the
action
on
Saturday,
