As
we
approach
the
end
of
July
we're
hitting
the
midway
point
of
the
2015
Boston
neighborhood
basketball
league
season
with
the
playoffs
just
two
weeks
away,
every
game
is
now
crucial
to
each
team
across
the
city.
One
of
the
most
competitive
sites
on
the
boys
side
of
the
ball
is
the
Perkins
community
center,
where
teams
will
be
battling
for
a
playoff
spot.
A
The
rest
of
the
way,
let's
head
out
to
Dorchester
for
some
highlights
there,
you
see
black
magic
taking
on
crew
love
Boston,
we're
gonna
pick
it
up
in
the
first
half
whoo
Boston
out
on
the
break
Deshawn
McLaughlin,
with
the
transition
bucket
right
there,
cool
up
takes
a
10
to
eight
lead
early
on
this
was
sort
of
a
low-scoring
game.
Couple
of
minutes
later
cool
of
Boston's
Marvin,
st.
A
In
the
game
of
basketball,
then
a
buzzer
beater.
Let's
sort
of
switch
gears
now
and
take
a
look
at
the
Boston
City
League
high
school
boys,
basketball
standings,
where
the
league
has
alignment,
has
changed
for
the
second
time
in
four
seasons.
After
three
years
of
having
a
new
alignment
with
three
divisions,
the
Boston
City
League
will
now
go
back
to
having
two
divisions
split
between
the
North
and
the
South.
A
The
biggest
changes
from
the
alignment
from
five
years
ago
is
that
Charles
Town
is
now
in
the
south,
while
O'bryant
West,
Roxbury
and
Boston
English
are
now
in
the
north.
It's
the
hope
that
this
change
will
help
provide
a
better
league
schedule
and
clarify
the
qualifications
for
the
city
championships
and
state
tournament.
It
should
make
things
very
interesting
for
the
upcoming
austin
city
league
basketball
season.
That's
going
to
do
it
for
sports
this
week
be
sure
to
come
right
back
here
next
week
for
more
on
Boston
neighborhood
sports.
