A
Inexperience
has
been
a
common
theme
for
many
bps
high
school
football
teams
this
season,
but
while
most
city
league
teams
try
to
coach
up
several
fresh
fresh
faces
on
their
football
rosters,
Boston
Latin
School
has
been
dealing
with
an
additional
obstacle.
Injuries
and
one
point
this
season.
There
were
as
many
as
15
players
sidelines
for
the
Wolfpack
and
thanks
to
the
mash
unit
that
is
now
featured
on
their
sidelines.
Boston
Latin
has
come
in
to
Friday,
with
an
O
inform
mark
on
the
other
side
of
the
field.
A
Were
the
Bedford
Buccaneers,
who
also
entered
Friday
at
Owen,
for
so
both
teams
saw.
This
is
a
good
opportunity
to
pick
up
a
win
and
gain
some
momentum
into
the
middle
part
of
the
season.
Let's
head
out
to
white
Stadium
for
this
matchup
of
the
duals
challenge,
south
11
guys
injured
for
this
one
for
Boston
Latin
and
it
showed
early
first
quarter,
Bedford's
opening
drive,
Myles
Francis
gets
it
on.
The
screen
goes
46
yards
for
the
touchdown.
Bedford
goes
up
7
to
zip
on
their
first
possession
ensuing
possession
for
the
Boston
Latin
Wolfpack.
A
They
were
driving
down
the
field.
Quarterback
Devin
Vasquez,
with
a
pretty
pass
to
Matt
Carrick
down
the
sideline,
but
mckarrick
gets
stripped
as
he
gets
towards
the
goal
line,
Bedford
recovers
in
the
end
zone.
That's
a
touch
back
for
the
Bucs
and
turnover
on
downs
there
for
Bedford,
then
later
on.
In
the
first
quarter,
it's
Tyler
Dussault,
getting
the
carry
Tyler
then
bounces
to
the
outside
scores.
The
touchdown
Bedford
goes
up
13
and
nothing
in
the
first
quarter.
Second
quarter
now,
Bedford
keeps
it
rolling.
A
This
time
they
go
with
the
razzle-dazzle
as
they
run
the
hook-and-ladder
two
miles.
Francis
46-yard
touchdown
play
for
the
Bedford
Buccaneers.
They
go
up
19
to
nothing
under
four
minutes
left
in
the
second
quarter.
Now
Bedford
runs
the
bubble
screen
this
time
to
Toby
Hart,
and
this
kid
can
make
plays
out
there
for
the
Buccaneers.
He
takes
it.
65
yards
for
the
score.
Bedford
goes
up
20,
seven
to
zero.
A
Then
a
fast
Ford
now
into
the
third
quarter,
Bedford
still
rolling,
quarterback
Greg
Cormier
keeps
it
off
the
option
play
27
yard
scamper
for
him.
Z
rolls
into
the
end
zone.
Bedford
would
go
on
to
win
39,
nothing
for
their
first
win
of
2017
season.
Let's
take
a
look
at
the
rest
of
the
scores
from
the
weekend
on
Friday
it
was
bright
and
taking
down
West
Roxbury
22
to
zip
Quincy
Taylor,
two
sacks
and
ten
tackles
for
the
Brighton
Bengals
Latin
Academy
squeeks
out
win
on
the
road
against
Greater
New
Bedford.
A
They
went
14
to
13,
also
on
Friday
the
6th.
It's
checked:
Boston

down
East
Boston

29
to
8
AJ
Cooper,
with
two
rushing
touchdowns
for
the
Bears

their
second
win
on
the
season:

the
ground
and
a
touchdown
new
mission
out
last
Excel
High

with
a
rushing
touchdown
and
a
pick
six

the
Titans
Charlestown
defeats,

12
to
8
Shawn
Williams,
with
our
Steven
Williams
with
the
passing
touchdown
and
a
rushing
touchdown
for
the
Townies.
A
There
have
been
a
lot
of
changes
in
the
Boston
City
League
standings
over
the
last
couple
of
weeks.
A
lot
can
happen
between
now
and
playoff
time
in
just
a
couple
of
weeks.
Folks,
that's
gonna!
Do
it
for
sports
this
week
be
sure
to
come
right
back
here
next
time
for
more
on
Boston
neighborhood
sports.
