A
While
three
boston
city
high
school
football
teams
were
able
to
kick
off
the
2013
season
last
week,
10
other
city
squads
had
their
season
openers
over
the
weekend.
Two
teams
who
squared
off
against
each
other
on
Friday,
were
last
year's
Super,
Bowl
participants,
Dorchester
and
madison
park.
So,
let's
head
to
madison
park
high
school
for
this
one.
A
There
you
see
the
young
Madison
Park
Cardinals,
returning
just
for
starters
from
last
season,
we're
going
to
pick
it
up
at
the
first
quarter,
dorchester
at
their
own
40,
Johnny
Mims
off
left,
tackle,
47
yard
run
right
here
for
mems
and
the
Dorchester
bears
that
sets
Dorchester
up
inside
the
20
yard
line.
Couple
plays
later
its
quarterback
Demetrius,
Larry,
pounded
it
in
for
the
touchdown.
Dorchester
goes
up.
A
82
zip
there
early
on
in
the
first
quarter,
we're
going
to
fast
forward
now
to
the
dorch
next
Dorchester
possession
Trayvon
McCoy,
finds
a
corner
of
the
end
zone
right
here.
The
big
fullback
scores
for
the
Bears.
They
go
up,
14,
zip
in
the
first
quarter.
Second
quarter
now
it's
mins
again
and
this
time,
Johnny
mins,
going
to
take
a
distance
26-yard
touchdown
run
for
Johnny
mems
Dorchester
monster.
First
half
they
go
up,
22
the
zip
at
the
break,
2nd
half
now
and
just
check
out
the
rain.
A
Unbelievable
second
half
as
the
rain
came
down,
the
skies
opened
up
buckets
of
rain,
coming
down
at
Madison,
Park
and,
of
course,
Madison
with
a
tough
time
all
day
offensively,
but
especially
with
the
rain
they
fumble.
The
football
here
in
the
fourth
quarter
is
Dorchester,
hangs
on
to
win
this
one
22
to
zip,
believe
it
or
not
same
night.
Also
at
the
same
field,
beautiful
night
here
at
Madison,
Parkins
O'brien
takes
on
Charlestown
first
quarter.
A
Joe
Farrell
is
going
to
take
it
down
the
sideline
58-yard
touchdown
on
the
pass
right
there
from
Ajani
Alfred
who
fail
to
Farrell
seven
to
nothing,
Oh
bright.
To
start
off
this
one,
then
later
on
the
first,
it's
Farrell
on
a
punt
return
right
here,
he's
going
to
make
a
nice
movement,
then
take
it
down.
The
left
sideline
for
an
excellent
punt
return.
This
fella
had
a
nice
first
quarter
for
the
O'bryant
Tigers
43
yard.
Return
for
fower
brings
it
inside
the
20
yard
line
for
the
O'bryant
tiger.
A
Then
a
couple
of
plays
later
quarterback
Ajani
Alfred
McFall
finds
Makai
Williams
over
there
in
the
corner.
This
is
a
22
yard
reception
for
Makai
Williams.
He
finds
pay
dirt,
13
zip
in
the
first
40
Bryant
fast
forward
now
to
the
second
quarter,
and
so
Bryant
this
time
from
the
14
Williams.
Again
this
time
getting
a
handoff,
he
finds
the
endzone
in
the
corner
over
there
O'brien
up
19
the
zip
at
the
half,
we're
going
to
fast
forward
now
to
the
fourth
quarter,
O'bryant
still
in
command.
B
You
don't
ever
walk
to
the
huddle.
We
always
jog
always
constantly
moving,
so
that
helped
me
you
do
those
holes
real
quick,
even
when
they
wasn't
that
open,
and
I
think
my
line
a
lot
for
when
they
world
we
got
to
keep
giving
110%
practice
starts
out
in
factors.
We
can't
win
nothing
without
practicing.
We
should
be
okay
after
that.
A
They
just
started
football
at
that
school
last
year,
Stephen
Thomas
before
rushing
touchdowns
for
them,
then
on
Saturday
Brighton
in
a
shootout
against
Martha's
Vineyard,
that's
not
a
basketball
school!
That's
a
football
score!
6241
Jalen,
APRA
white,
three
touchdown
passes
and
Jeremiah
Burke
gets
blanked
by
Pittsfield
32,
zip
on
Friday.
