A
The
end
of
last
week
brought
good
weather
and
that
is
music
to
the
areas
of
baseball
teams
here
in
New
England
and
the
Boston
Public
Schools,
two
baseball
teams
that
have
gotten
off
to
good
starts
this
spring:
the
East
Boston
Jets
a
new
mission
Titans
squared
off
on
Friday
at
the
sun-soaked
East
Boston
stadium.
So
let's
head
out
to
easy
for
this.
When
they
see
East
Boston
high
sophomore,
pitcher
Josh
Rivera
on
the
mound
for
the
Jets,
he
had
his
game
going
early
top
first
top
of
the
first
two
O's
for
new
mission.
A
Rivera
gets
that
Titan
swinging
on
the
breaking
ball.
Rivera
struck
out
the
side
in
the
first
bottom
of
the
first
now
man
on
for
Joe
caridina
at
the
dish
he
hammers
it
through
the
gap.
Nick
tear
Deena,
comes
in
to
score
for
East
Boston.
They
go
up
one
two
zip
later
on
in
the
bottom
of
the
first,
it's
Israel
Vega,
shooting
that
ball
through
the
infield
Jim
Serpa
and
Joe
sway.
Baez
come
in
to
score.
A
East
Boston
goes
up
four
to
nothing
after
just
the
first
inning
bottom
of
the
second
now
East
Boston,
with
two
runners
in
scoring
position
and
Joe
sway
Baez
at
the
plate.
Here
for
the
Jets
he's
going
to
hit
a
chopper
straight
up
the
middle
for
East
Boston,
both
runners
come
in
to
score
for
East
e.
They
go
up
six
to
nothing
there
in
the
second
inning.
That's
forward
now
to
the
top
of
the
third
inning
as
Josh
Rivera
out
on
the
mound.
Still
cruising,
he
grabs
the
grounder.
A
There
starts
the
1
4
3
double
play
for
the
East
Boston
Jets
Rivera
throws
a
no-hitter
through
the
first
five
innings
fast
forward
down
through
the
bottom
of
the
fourth
Joe
Giardino
once
again
at
the
plate,
and
he
plates
his
brother
Nick
here
Deena
once
again
here
on
the
deep
drive
to
center
field,
Joe
then
tries
to
score
himself,
but
he
thrown
out
at
the
plate,
but
it
didn't
matter
for
the
East
Boston
Jetsons.
They
went
on
to
win
10
to
zip
in
just
five
innings
over
at
new
mission.
A
Let's
check
out
the
rest
of
the
scores
for
you
from
Friday.
Charlestown
loses
to
Brighton
eight
to
four
South.
Boston
takes
down
Fenway
seven
to
five.
Also
on
Friday,
then
there
Snowden
out
scoring
tech,
Boston
22:18
big
score
between
those
two
teams
in
Madison
Park,
flanked
by
O'brien
10
to
zip,
by,
as
with
a
double
in
home,
run
the
O'bryant

Friday

Those
are
your
baseball

from
over
the
weekend.
We
also
got
some
softball
scores
from
the

A
So
a
lot
of
games
left.
We
played
on
the
diamond
before
the
city
championships
out
of
Memorial
Day,
so
it
should
be
an
interesting
race
to
the
postseason
for
a
lot
of
these
teams.
This
test.
We
can
also
