Thank
you
so
much
well.
That
was
really
wonderful.
It's
Delight
to
have
everybody
here
today,
boy,
you
guys
are
amazing.
How
much
did
you
learn
over
the
last
week?
Do
you
have
you
had
a
good
time?
We
had
a
lot
of
fun.
You
are
all
really
amazing
musicians.
That
was
really
phenomenal.
We
have
a
few
very
special
guests
here
today
that
I
wanted
to
introduce.
D
My
name
is
Andrea
Kalin
I'm,
the
president
of
nuc,
and
we're
just
really
glad
to
have
you
around
glad
to
have
you
here
absolutely
so
I'm
going
to
introduce
some
of
our
special
guests.
First
of
all,
we're
absolutely
delighted
to
have
her
of
the
city
of
Boston
and
she's
a
musician
as
we've
all
just
seen,
mayor
Michelle
Woo
is
with
us.
Can
we
say,
welcome.
D
And
we
also
have
some
of
her
colleagues
from
the
city
of
Boston,
so
Kristen
McSwain,
who
is
the
director
of
early
childhood
and
Cara
Elliot
Ortega,
who
is
the
the
chief
called
arts
and
culture
chief
of
arts
and
culture
for
Boston,
and
we
have
a
couple
of
folks
from
Massachusetts
Blue
Cross,
Blue
Shield,
who
have
absolutely
made
you
have
food
this
weekend.
They
have
given
you
food
and
I.
Think
some
snacks
I
understand
there
might
have
even
been
ice
cream
this
week.
Was
there
ice
cream
yeah?
Did
that
help
you
play
better?
D
D
D
You
wanted
to
keep
going
so
we're
excited
that
we're
going
to
have
all
of
you
back
for
the
whole
year,
because
that's
great
and
many
more
children
to
to
join
you,
everyone
can
make
music
is
a
program
that
is
actually
fueled
by
generosity
and
I.
Just
want
to
take
a
moment
we're
to
thank
our
Anonymous
donor,
who
has
made
the
joy
and
connection
of
fun
that
is
inherent
in
music
possible
for
these
children
and
so
many
more
throughout
Boston.
D
We
are
really
grateful,
as
well
as
for
mass
for
Blue
Cross,
Blue
Shield
of
Massachusetts,
for
making
it
possible
to
feed
and
just
create
that
sense
of
Engagement
as
well.
We're
incredibly
grateful
to
people
for
their
generosity
and
even
more
I
would
like
to
thank
the
mayor
mayor.
We
were
just
really
grateful
for
the
opportunity
to
partner
with
the
city.
It's
a
wonderful,
it's
a
wonderful
thing.
Making
a
program
like
this
and
making
music
is
not
a
solo
Endeavor.
D
It
is
very
much
an
ensemble
and
we
are
so
grateful
to
have
the
opportunity
to
build
on
the
announcement
that
we
made
in
December
and
really
see
the
year
and
the
years
ahead,
just
come
to
fruition
as
children's
lives
are
opened
up
and
their
creativity
is
opened
up
as
they
find
the
joy
and
connection
through
music.
So
thank
you
very
much
and
when
now
I'm
delighted
to
turn
the
mic
over
to
our
mayor
and
to
our
fellow
musician
mayor
Wu.
Thank
you.
Now.
E
Thank
you,
president,
Kalyn
and
good
morning
to
everyone.
Thank
you
so
much
for
letting
me
play
with
you
a
little
bit
today
how
many,
how
many
of
you
all
had
played
drums
before
you
started
this
program.
Okay,
a
few
people,
how
many
have
played
this
kind
of
drum
before
wow?
So
you
are
now
experts
in
just
one
week,
and
the
exciting
news
was
that
you'll
be
able
to
keep
coming
back
to
take
free
music
lessons
and
and
keep
growing
as
musicians
throughout
the
entire
year.
So
can
you
join
me
in
saying
one
more
big?
E
Well,
let's
talk
after
we're
having
a
block
party
at
my
house
on
Thursday,
so
you
should
come
so
I
I
have
played
piano
since
I
was
really
little
and
I
grew
up
in
a
family
where
my
mom
and
dad
didn't
speak
English
at
home
and
we
we
would
speak
Mandarin,
Chinese
and
so
music
music
was
kind
of
a
way
where
everyone
could
communicate.
E
There's
something
so
special
about
that
that
you
really
can't
get
through
anything
except
for
music
and
so
I'm,
so
excited
that
you
all
are
on
the
pathway
to
become
great
musicians,
great
leaders
in
our
community
and
great
friends
to
each
other.
So
thank
you
so
much
for
for
being
part
of
this
program.
I
hope
you'll
all
get
to
continue
and
try
out
as
many
instruments
and
really
pursue
your
dreams
and
everything
that
you
want
to
do.
E
E
So
I'll
Echo,
all
the
things
to
everyone
all
of
our
team
at
the
city
of
Boston
to
New
England
Conservatory
for
all
of
their
incredible
work,
not
only
training
the
musicians
who
are
becoming
professionals
today,
but
making
sure
that
the
love
of
music
and
performance
is
everywhere
in
our
community
and
to
our
very
generous
sponsors
and
donors,
Blue
Cross,
Blue
Shield
for
making
sure
everyone
is
fed
and
healthy.
This
this
wouldn't
be
possible
without
you.
So
thank
you.
Thank
you.
I
can't
wait
to
make
more
music
with
you
all
and
to
see
your
performances
today.
