At the Hernandez School in Roxbury, Mayor Walsh announces funding for a brand new playground. Also, Hernandez School students wish Mayor Walsh a happy birthday.

We're
working
on
a
project
if
for
our
playground,
should
we
design
it
for
the
future
generation
of
the
tool
every
15
years?
The
playground
is
redesigned
we
have
to
success
later
on
because
to
the
little
kids
they
could
get
hurt
and
it
could
affect
everybody,
because
I
feel
that
I
respect
of
school
and
I'm
a
part
of
it.
So
I
would
like
to
feel
like
proud
of
our
school
and
we
all
say
public
as
seasoned
as
he
could

So,
like
the
video
just
said,
there
are
many
reasons
why
we
want
to
get
a
new
craze
on
there.
Both
of
the
bridges
have
been
broken
before
kids
have
broken
their
risk
on
it
multiple
times
where
they
play
where
we
play
kickball
kicks
off
solving
because
the
ground
is
uneven
and
when
it's
just
God
all
around,
and
we
really
want
to
like
make
it
better
for,
like
the
whole
community.

took
a
bunch
of
classes
third
grade
and
one
during
the
see
playground
so
to
get
like
there
you
put
on
what
they
wanted.
A
few
play
girls,
we
went
to
was
Joey's
Park
in
Belmont
and
we
want
the
Franklin
place,
and
we
just
did
this.
We
can
know
like
what
the
kids
who
are
actually
gonna
be
playing
on
the
playground
wanted
instead
of
us
like
odors,
we
don't
know
exactly,
would
be
like
and
also
we've
surveyed,
a
bunch
of
families
during
last
night
and
tied
things
up
like
that.

to
create
a

We
also
interviewed
those
staff
members,
teachers
and
the
administration
cuz
they're
out
there
with
us,
so
it
makes
sense
for
us
to
take
their
input
to
we
informed
neighbors,
and
many
of
them
gave
us
money
because,
like
a
joke
side
area,
it's
not
just
their
analysis
playground.
It's
also
the
whole
everything
community's
playground,
because
not
they
said
before
they
need
more
potatoes
in
a
question.
I
I
mean
our
vision
for
the
play
quickly.
It's
so
like
have
like
a
pop
of
color,
so
that,
like
our
part,
if
you're
driving
by
it's,
not
just
any
regular
part
that
stands
out,
and
so
that
kids
could
get
more
excited
to
to
play
on
you
and
we
want
a
bigger
structures
that
the
case
means
like
enjoy
it
more
and
have
more
fun.

want
to
talk
about
the
project
on
my
closet
in
the
fifth
grade,
so
we
did
a
book
with
a
chess
exhaustion
and
every
kid
published
two
forms
one
in
English
and
in
Spanish,
and
some
of
us
were
on
the
editorial
board.
Where
everyone
says
we
go
down
to
86
Austin
and
we
would
help
edit
the
form,
and
so
this
is
really
important
to
us,
because
it
helps
us
get
in
touch
to
our
bilingual
roof.
And
that's
like
really
special
about
the
school
like,
because
there's
not
a
lot
of
schools
that
are
bilingual.

first
of
all
thank
you
very

for
the
surprise,
the
birthday
cake
and
all
the
times
and
the
singing
I
want
to
thank
everyone
here
at
the
school
today,
for
this
I
wasn't
expecting
that
and
to
the
process
of
paying
that
that's
filming.
Today,
all
the
young
people
said
we're
going
to
be
on
the
6
o'clock
news
tonight,
so
you
they're
holding
you
to
make
sure
we
make
they
make
the
news
tonight.
I
just
want
to
I
wanted
to
thank
a
bunch
of
people.
I
want
to
thank
mr.

What
struck
me
was
my
first
time
to
this
school
was
opening
day
a
couple
years
ago,
and
I
was
standing
out
in
front
of
the
school
at
school
was
was
opening
and
I
was
watching.
All
the
parents
and
the
kids
come
to
school
with
bags
and
in
those
bags
of
supplies,
for
the
teachers
were
crayons
and
markers
and
pencils
and
erasers
and
I
just
couldn't
get
over
it.

That
every
single
parent
that
walk
by
me
that
morning
had
a
bag
and
I
know
that
a
lot
of
parents
that
were
coming
in
the
school
that
day
didn't
have
a
lot,
meaning
that
they
weren't,
probably
a
tight
budget,
but
they
were
bringing
stuff
to
the
school
because
it
was
a
spirit
in
the
school
there's
a
spirit
in
the
school.
That's
special
I
get
a
chance
to
then
tour.

Honestly,
I
don't
see
some
of
the
parity
here,
but
I
want
the
parents,
they
were
talking
about
raising
money
and
how
they
were
raising
money
for
the
playground
and
they
had
raised
a
good
amount
of
money,
but
there
was
still
a
good
amount
away
from
completing
completing
it
and
to
the
young
people
to
here.
The
8th
graders
in
particular.
What
I
thought
of
is
will
be
a
shame
that
they
did
all
the
planning
and
even
though
they
won't
be
here
when
it's
redone,
but
their
planning
efforts
went
into
something.
That's
incredible.

So
we'll
help
back
the
city,
Harley
sat
down
with
without
money
with
the
Dave
Sweeney
and
Tommy
Chang
and
I
said
you
know
we
got
to
do
some
at
the
end
that
they
have
a
plan.
They
have
an
unbelievable
spirit,
nap
school.
They
have
a
commitment,
that's
like
no
other
school
in
the
city
of
Boston.
There's
great
things
happening
in
their
bilingual
education
going
on.
We
have
kids
from
all
over
the
world
going
to
school
their
parents
from
all
over
the
world
going
to
school
there.
This
is
what
we
need
to
do.

We
need
to
figure
a
way
to
make
their
playground
home,
so
they
had
our
redundant
work.
We
want
to
ensure
and
cut
a
deal
to
get
water
and
sewer
to
pay
for
some
of
the
work.
They've
already
done.
A
work
with
some
of
the
nonprofit's,
so
we
had
to
do
was
make
sure,
as
we
allocate
that
money
we
looked
at
least
made
sure
I'm
sure
we
could
find
1.2
million
dollar
somewhere
to
allocate
to
the
playground.
So
we
did.
We
always.

But
really
the
playground
is
here
because
the
all
the
young
people
on
the
throne,
because
the
specialness
the
special,
the
special
feeling
and
spirit
in
the
school,
the
school
is
a
great
spirit
and
filling,
and
it
makes
me
every
time.
I
come
to
the
school.
I
feel
good
coming
into
it,
because
I
look
at
all
the
different
pages-
and
this
is
who
we
are
is
Austin
in
this
who
we
are
is
America
right
in
this
room
here.
So
this
playground
isn't
because
I
allocate
the
money
is
not
because
Madeline
alley
is
supporting
the
money.

This
playground
that's
happening
is
because
of
you,
young
people.
You
have
made
this
playground
happen,
but
by
putting
together
a
plan
executing
that
plan,
making
sure
that
you
tell
that
plan
and
talk
about
the
future
and
you've
also
been
a
fully
inclusive
playground.
So
the
playground
is
happening
here
because
of
all
you
and
when
we,
when
we
come
back
here
to
cut
the
ribbon
wherever
you
are
in
high
school,
all
the
eighth
graders
got
to
come
back
here
and
cut
the
ribbon
for
us,
because.

thing
I
want
to
say

I
want
to
thank

being

This
is
a
good
story
in
here
when
people
talk
about,
why
do
I
do?
Why
do
we
stand
up
and
fight
for
immigrant
rights

refugee
rights

what's
going
on

are
we
doing
that

what's
happening
in
this
school
right
here?

is
why
we
do
it
every
single
day.
