The Licensing Board for the City of Boston holds licensed premise inspection hearings on Tuesdays, transactional hearings on Wednesdays and voting hearings on Thursdays weekly pursuant to Governor Charles Baker’s executive order (the “Order”) issued March 22, 2020, temporarily modifying certain requirements of the Open Meeting Law (M.G.L. ch. 30A s. 20) due to the ongoing public health crisis due to Covid-19 (coronavirus).
A
A
Good
morning,
this
is
a
hearing
before
the
licensing
board
for
the
city
of
Boston.
Today
is
Wednesday
March,
8th
2023.
that
his
hearing
is
being
held
pursuant
to
Temporary
amendments
to
the
open
meeting
law.
That
is
what
allows
us
to
be
virtually
today's
hearing
is
being
recorded
and
will
be
posted
to
the
city
of
Boston's
website
before
I
review.
Procedural
matters
I
would
like
to
introduce
our
commissioners
Liam
Curran
and
commissioner
Kiana
Saxon,
who
are
with
us
this
morning.
A
Cheryl
and
Kathleen
Joyce
will
be
with
us
momentarily
one
piece
of
housekeeping
before
we
get
to
procedural
matters
for
this
morning's
hearing
due
to
a
scheduling
conflict
at
this
week's
hearing,
voting
hearing
of
the
licensing
board
will
be
held
this
afternoon
at
1
pm
that
is
today.
Wednesday
March,
8th
at
1
pm
will
be
the
voting
hearing
of
the
licensing
board.
Notice
has
already
been
posted
to
the
city's
website.
A
A
A
If
any
begin,
with
the
first
item
on
this
morning's
agenda
calling
item
number
one:
735,
Morrissey,
Boulevard,
Inc,
doing
business
as
pure
at
Puritan
Restaurant,
located
at
735,
William
T
Morrissey
Boulevard
in
Dorchester,
holder
of
a
common
digital
license,
has
petitioned
to
amend
the
closing
hour
of
the
licensed
business
from
10
a.m,
to
11
pm
to
10
a.m.
To
2
am
who
is
present
on
behalf
of
the
applicant.
C
Yep
nikhil
Kumar
I'm,
the
owner
of
the
restaurant
and
my
partner
Kamal,
is
on
the
zoom
meeting
as
well.
A
Great,
if
you
could
please
briefly
present
your
proposal
to
the
board.
C
Yeah,
so
we
wanted
to
as
we
wanted
to
expand
our
business.
So
we
were
thinking
to
change
the
timing
of
the
restaurant
from
10
a.m,
to
10
p.m
and
do
it
from
10
a.m
to
2
A.M.
This
will
give
us
like
more
opportunities
for
late
night
business.
That
is
very
much
exists
in
Boston
area,
so
we
were
thinking
to
take
an
opportunity
and
expand
our
business.
So
we
we
contacted
the
neighborhood
association,
the
lesson
of
neighborhood
of
Dorchester
Mr
Ross
Cochran.
C
We
sent
them
our
proposal
and
they
said
they
emailed
responded
us
back
and
they
said
that
we're
all
set
and
we
should
go
ahead
and
schedule
a
hearing
with
the
city
of
Boston.
The
licensing
board.
A
D
I'll
wait
till
after
comments
if
I
have
any
questions.
Thank.
C
A
E
Sure
I'll
wait
as
well.
Thank
you.
A
F
Good
morning,
Mr,
chair
and
Commissioners
as
well
and
everyone
on
the
zoom
call,
my
name
is
Ross.
Cochran
I
am
with
the
mayor's
office.
Neighborhood
Services,
as
the
applicant
did
say
that
they
have
gone
through
our
process
of
the
community
process
and
there
was
no
major
objections
by
Butters
or
the
civic
association
in
the
area
at
the
time
would
like
to
defer
to
the
board
of
judgment
this
time.
Thank
you.
E
I'm
just
curious,
whether
any
of
the
the
your
clients
or
any
of
the
people
who
have
come
into
the
restaurant,
whether
they've
asked
or
whether
there's
been
any
requests
from
your
actual
clientele.
Thank
you.
C
Yes,
we
do
get
a
lot
of
requests
because
we
do
we.
We
also
deliver
to
the
close
by
cities
like
Quincy
and
South
Boston.
So
it's
like
we
do
have
a
lot
of
clientele
who
are
usually
safe,
it's
better
if
we
cannot
increase
our
hours
of
operation.
C
So
that's
why
we
were
just
interested
that
there
is
a
lot
of
business
that
exists
in
the
area,
so
we
wanted
to
take
an
opportunity
and
expand
our
business.
A
Now
calling
Boylston

doing
business
as
Finagle
a
Bagel
located
at
535,
Boylston,
Street,
holder
of

has
petitioned
to
amend
the
description
of
the
licensed

Patio

the
same
as
restaurant,
who
is
present
on
behalf
of
the
applicant.
A
H
We
have
had
this
location
for
about
20
to
30
years
so
or
so
now,
and
we
have
always
had
a
patio
in
that
location.
We
had
had
approvals
from
the
Boston
Landmark
commission
before
and
we
just
realized
last
year
when
changing
the
entity
that
holds
the
license
for
this
location
that
the
patio
was
not
listed
on
the
common
Vector
license.
However,
it
was
listed
on
the
entertainment
and
it
also
was
also
listed
on
the
certificate
of
inspection.
H
So
we
are
just
seeking
to
rectify
the
records
and
finalizing
the
clerical
process
to
add
the
patio
to
the
common
Victory.
We
have
had
the
application
approved
by
the
Back
Bay
architectural
con
commission
and
we
have
had
the
aboutter's
notification.
H
The
mayor's
office
of
Neighborhood
Services
helped
us
with
that
process.
This
was
done
back
in
October
and
recently
last
week
we
have
the
also
notified
the
direct
about
us
of
the
common
Victory
description
revision.
A
Thank
you,
Ms
Pryor,
we'll
move
to
the
board
for
any
questions.
Chairman
Joyce,
any
questions.
Thank.
A
J
Good
morning
Madam
chair
members
of
the
board,
Maggie
van
squiff
and
the
mayor's
office
of
neighborhood
services.
At
this
time,
our
office
would
like
to
defer
to
the
Judgment
of
the
board.
We
did
have
this
applicant.
Do
a
butter
notification.
They
also
went
through
a
community
process
with
the
landmarks
commission.
They
have
been
in
touch
with
the
neighborhood
association
of
back
Bay's
architectural
committee,
and
we
are
unaware
of
any
concerns
at
this
time.
Thank
you.
A
Seeing
on
the
board
will
take
this
under
advisement?
Thank
you.
Thank
you.

on

well

the

Megan

who's,
the
project
manager.
M
This
is
the
new
Winthrop
center
that
is
very
close
to
opening
the
club
portion
of
it
is
the
35th
floor
of
the
Winthrop
Center,
which
is
just
for
the
residents
and
the
guests
of
residence.
This
is
the
club
license,
so
the
management
entity
would
be
operating
that
and
the
second
application
is
on
the
lower
levels,
which
is
floors
one
through
four,
which
consists
of
restaurants,
kiosks
different
offices
and
meeting
rooms
as
well.
M
So
the
management
company
I'll
turn
that
over
to
them
them
just
briefly,
but
just
briefly
by
way
of
background,
they
are
part
of
the
John
Frazier

John
Frazier
was
one
of
the
principals
and
owners
is
a
Michelin

award-winning

together
with
Bernice

who
joins
us
today.
The
two
of
them
have
over
50
years
experience
in
the
restaurant
industry
they
own
and
operate
restaurants
in
New
York.
They
have
three
in
New
York
City,
which
they've
run
very
successfully
all
of
those
hold
alcohol
licenses.
M
So
they
do
have
that
experience
in
the
ownership
and
management
of
that
the
we
did
before
I
turn
it
over.
We
did

are
no

additional
operational

no

to

no
changes
to
the

or

so
see.

Mutual
building.
This
will
be.
Tom,
has
a
lengthy
experience
in
the
restaurant
business,
both
as
an
operator
and
and
currently
as
an
owner
operator
at
Alcove
on
Lovejoy
War
for
very
successful
restaurant
operation.
W
There
first
class
dining
well
established
in
that
neighborhood.
He
was
looking
for
a
seafood
location
in
the
seaport
and
we're
lucky
enough
to
have
this
location
under
agreement
and
we're
lucky
enough
for
this
Market
to
find
a
license
to
apply
for
Tom
is
a
presently
approved.
Manager
of
record
at
Alcove
has
lengthy
experience
in
the
industry.
We
did
go
through
a
Neighborhood
Services
to
have
a
in
a
Butters
meeting
on
site
extremely
well,
attended,
no
opposition.
We
did
reach
out
to
Fort
Point
neighborhood.
W
They
declined
because
there's
apparently
a
new
organization
in
this
end
of
the
neighborhood
coming
on
board,
but
they're,
aware
of
our
application,
as
well
as
we
made
Outreach
to
a
city
council
president
Flynn
and
we're
unaware
of
any
opposition,
and
certainly
looking
forward
to
opening
and
being
part
of
the
very
active
Seaport.
With
this
fine
dining
Seafood
concept
and
happy
to
take
any
of
your
questions.
W
I
Thank
you
for
joining
us
Mr
Schlesinger,
modelli
attorney
quilty,
just
to
wrap
it
up
a
little
bit
more
succinctly
for
the
board.
Can
you
give
us
two
or
three
points
about
public
need
for
another
alcohol
license
in
this
neighborhood.
W
Excuse
me
I
think
well,
the
the
basically
the
the
number
of
people
who
attended
the
the
meeting
in
full
support
of
this
application
it.
It
will
become,
interestingly
enough
in
the
neighborhood
there's
a
quite
frankly
a
a
a
limited
number
of
fine
dining
Seafood
establishments
or
100.
You
know
well
High
number
of
steakhouses,
but
to
bring
his
own
brand
of
boston-based
New
England
Seafood
to
this
location
and
we
think
it'll
be
a
kind
of
One
of
a
Kind
spot.
So.
I
W
I
Right
I
appreciate
that
I
don't
have
any
other
questions.
Commissioners,
no.
A
T
Madam
chair
members
of
the
board,
Conor
Newman
with
the
mayor,
soft's
Neighborhood,
Services
this
time
the
mayor's
office
deferred
to
the
Judgment
of
this
board.
As
you
heard
from
the
applicant's
representation,
there
was
an
ons
LED
Butters
meeting
where
residents
who
are
in
attendance
were
very
much
in
support
of
this
proposal.
T
Can
we
understand
that
they've
done
further
community
outreach
with
that
we
defer
to
the
Judgment
of
this
board?
Thank
you.
A
V
Morning,
Madam
chair
members
of
the
board
attorney
green
Tyler
Hensler
from
Upton
canal
in
Dublin
I'm
here
for
the
transfer
of
licensed
application
to
Neiman
Marcus
with
me
today
is
Michelle
casullas,
the
general
manager
of
the
Boston
location,
Joe
Flanagan,
the
proposed
manager
of
record
and
Brooke
Lawson,
the
regional
vice
president
of
the
Neiman
Marcus
group.
We
plan
to
have
two
small
bars
located
within
the
store
to
serve
Shoppers
and
browsers
alike.
V
The
character
and
fitness
of
this
applicant
is
strong
for
the
following
reasons.
This
is
a
long
time.
Business
in
Boston
they've
been
a
good
business
citizen.
Since
the
early
1980s
and
the
company
pays
upwards
of
700
000
a
year
in
taxes.
As
you
may
know,
this
is
a
professional
high-end
location,
part
of
the
Copley
Place
Shopping
Center,
where
the
average
client
is
older.
There's
therefore
little
risk
of
college,
age,
kids
or
other
Rowdy
customers
causing
any
sort
of
disturbance.
V
At
any
rate,
the
clientele
are
usually
accompanied
by
sales
associates
anyways
pursue
it
to
their
existing
sales
practices.
V
The
bars
would
be
located
in
the
heart
of
the
store
not
located
near
any
entrances
or
exits.
That
would
allow
for
alcohol
to
exit
the
license
premise.
The
bar
on
the
first
floor
would
have
four
seats
and
the
one
on
the
second
floor
would
have
six
seats.
There
will
be
an
assortment
of
prepackaged
foods
and
snacks
available
at
no
charge
to
the
customers.
However,
nothing
will
be
prepared
on
site.
V
The
store
also
has
an
existing
robust
system
of
loss
prevention
in
place,
as
an
even
Marcus
offers
a
variety
of
high-end,
valuable
merchandise
for
purchase.
This
includes
an
extensive
network
of
62
cameras,
which
cover
every
angle
of
the
store
for
full-time
security
guards
employed
by
Neiman
Marcus
and
an
additional
private
security
guard
for
a
total
of
five
full-time
security
guards
and
also
94
employees,
all
of
whom
are
trained
to
keep
close
watch
over
customers.
Any
servers
and
customer
facing
employees
will
be
tips
trained
by
the
end
of
this
month.
V
V
This
is
a
low
traffic
store
and
the
ratio
of
employees
to
customers
make
it
easy
to
keep
eyes
on
every
person.
As
for
the
public
need
of
the
applicant's
proposed
operation,
this
is
a
service
for
the
customers
of
even
Marcus,
as
the
company
continues
to
find
new
and
creative
ways
to
bolster
its
brick
and
mortar
operations.
V
This
will
also
be
more
likely
to
keep
people
downtown,
perhaps
for
dinner
or
drinks
after
shopping.
The
impact
on
the
neighborhood
would
be
very
minimal.
Almost
zero.
The
hours
as
they
stand
right
now
are
planned,
12
to
5
PM,
with
occasional
special
events
at
night.
This
will
therefore
have
a
low
impact
on
the
neighborhood
as
it
exists.
Now
there
was
a
liquor
license
on
these
premises
from
1982
to
1989
an
in-store
restaurant
called
zodiac.
V
There
were
no
violations
of
that
location
that
we're
aware
of
at
this
time
and
finally,
the
neighborhood
association
of
Back
Bay,
the
mayor's
office
of
Neighborhood
Services,
have
waived.
The
hearings
usually
required
due
to
the
internal
location
insulated
within
the
malls
Michelle
casullis.
The
stores
general
manager
is
here
to
provide
some
insight
into
the
concept
Michelle
sure.
AC
Thank
you
hi
everyone,
so
the
capsule
bars
will
be
a
service
to
our
customers
to
grab
a
quick
beverage
during
their
shopping
experience,
so
people
would
be
invited
to
lounge
near
the
bar
or
continue
shopping
with
their
beverage.
This
is
really
to
inject
an
additional
convenience
and
luxury
into
into
their
in-person
shopping
experience.
We're
really
doing
this
to
promote
a
more
elevated
shopping
experience
for
our
client.
We
have
done
this
before
in
many
other
locations
at
Neiman's.
AC
I
personally
have
visited
the
one
in
New
York
in
New
Jersey
in
Texas.
AC
They
get
great
positive
feedback
from
the
customers
and
the
community,
and
none
of
them
have
ever
had
a
violation
of
any
kind
Neiman
Marcus
experience
at
other
locations
is,
is
most
people
most
clients
just
have
one
drink
at
most
too,
and
we
would
ultimately
like
to
attract
customers
to
the
shore
to
the
store
to
shop
and
browse,
as
opposed
to
shopping
online,
and
this
is
one
small
way
that
we
plan
to
encourage
them.
AC
We
also
would
be
offering
the
pre-packaged
food
at
no
charge
to
our
clients
and
I
think
that
you
know
overall,
it's
just
adding
to
the
customer's
experience
at
Neiman's.
We
have
very
deep
relationships
with
our
clients.
Most
of
our
clients
come
in
for
fitting
room
experience
which
takes
a
long
time.
AC
It's
it's
really
an
investment,
and
you
know
during
that
process
it'd
be
wonderful
to
be
able
to
offer
this
to
our
client.
The
manager
of
record
will
be
Joe,
Flanagan
he's
here
with
me.
He
is
a
U.S
citizen,
a
resident
of
Massachusetts,
and
he
has
experience
in
the
industry.
He
is
familiar
with
the
rules
and
regulations
related
to
the
sale
and
service
of
alcohol
of
the
Commonwealth
of
Massachusetts,
as
well
as
of
this
board
and
I
just
want
to
thank
everyone
for
their
time
and
we're
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
I
Okay,
so
we'll
have
to
follow
up
with
you,
because
this
is
a
CV
seven-day
wine
and
malt
license,
so
that
you
may
need
to
change
the
category
since
you're,
not
preparing
food
on
site.
B
A
J
Yes,
hello,
Madam,
chair
members
of
the
board,
Maggie
van
scoip
and
the
mayor's
office
of
neighborhood
services.
At
this
time,
our
office
would
like
to
defer
to
the
Judgment
of
the
board
we
had
them
send
out.
Had
this
applicant
send
out
a
better
notification
to
people
and
Property
Owners
living
within
300
feet
of
the
establishment.
They
have
also
been
in
contact
with
the
neighborhood
association
of
Back
Bay.
Our
office
has
received
one
letter
in
support
of
this
application.
With
that
again
we'd
like
to
defer
to
the
Judgment
of
board.
Thank
you.

D
Good
morning
again,
secretary
Greene
Madam
chair

of
the

attorney
Joe

victorman

and
Miller
28
State

in
Boston,
representing
the
proposed
licensee
here
with
me.
Rachel
Lazar,
who
is
co-owner
in
the
LLC
on
the
application,
as
well
as
the
proposed
manager
of
record
also
with
me,
is
Michael
Cahill
who's.
The
senior
vice
president
with
core
Investments,
which
is
the
landlord
and
affiliate
of
this.
The
cafe
and
the
proposal
to
activate
the
space
around
it.
Just
to
give
you
some
background.
D
Core
Investments
is
major
landowner
on
property,
that
was
formerly
industrial
property
on
the
west
side
of
Dorchester
Avenue
in
the
Andrew
Square
neighborhood
of
South
Boston,
and
has
been
working
very
closely
with
the
Andrews
Square
civic
association,
the
South
Boston
elected
delegate,
Asian
neighbors
to
activate
what
has
been
you
know:
underutilized
industrial
property
in
an
area
where
the
city
is
studying
to
to
introduce
revitalization
it
back
in
November
of
2021.
D
This
board
approved
the
first
opening
of
a
Cafe
in
the
area
which
is
Cannonball,
Cafe
and
Rachel.
Lazar
has
been
the
operator
of
that.
D
It
has
been
a
cube
success
and
a
very,
very
well
operated
and
frequented
by
folks
in
the
neighborhood
and
has
really
provided
a
place
for
people,
and
that
is
the
existing
premise
that
we
are
looking
to
now
bring
this
beer
and
wine
license
into
in
the
first
piece
of
this,
and
the
second
is
to
be
able
to
utilize
it
under
Rachel's
stewardship,
with
corn
investment
for
community-based
Activation
so
but
first
part
existing
Cannonball,
Cafe
18
seats
inside
no
change
to
that
again
it
operates
with
the
CD
license:
excellent
food
and
dining
offerings.
D
We
will
add
beer
and
wine,
as
as
an
incidental
amenity,
to
that
16
outdoor
seats
for
seasonal,
outdoor
dining,
which
is
immediately
contiguous
to
the
space
and
also
with
you
know,
food
to
be
served
and
the
alcohol
is
an
amenity
or
the
beer
and
wine,
rather
as
an
amenity
to
that
not
looking
for
any
change.
The
closing
hour
is
10
o'clock
P.M,
so
Cannonball
opens
at
7
A.M
and
will
operate
until
10
p.m.
D
If
you
look
at
the
floor
plan
that
we
submitted
on
the
next
side,
there
is
a
vast
amount
of
surface
area.
That
is
part
of
the
transition
of
this
section
of
Dorchester
Avenue
and
core
Investments
is
engaged
with
the
civic
association
and
the
Neighbors
in
hosting
a
series
of
events.
In
the
past
we
had
pumpkin
carvings.
If
you
will,
we've
had
looking
to
do
movie,
Nights
farmer,
Mark
farmers,
markets
and
some
food
trucks,
and
that
is
the
space
that
we
would
like
to
be
able
to
have
food
under
the
CV.
D
Again,
it's
contiguous
to
the
cafe
and
also
have
the
ability
to
have
beer
and
wine
Service
as
part
of
those
functions.
We
intend
to
continue
to
work
very
closely
with
the
neighbors
in
with
the
city
on
this,
and
it
will.
It
will
really
make
a
big
difference
to
finally
activate
a
part
of
Boston
and
a
part
of
South
Boston
in
particular,
that
has
been
sort
of
lacking
in
any
amenities
whatsoever,
and
so
we
are
very
excited
to
be
here
very
excited
to
work
in
the
community.
D
I
Thank
you
attorney
Hanley
one
question
for
you:
has
the
patio
received
the
appropriate
zoning
relief.
D
So
we're
in
an
industrial
Zone
which
allows
all
restaurant
uses
we'll
have
to
apply
for
and
we're
in
the
process
of
doing
that,
a
certificate
of
use
of
premise
which
obviously
will
be
providing,
should
we
have
the
pleasure
or
the
opportunity
to
be
approved
by
this
board
in
the
abcc.
D
The
other
thing,
I
would
say
too
I've
neglected
that
core
Investments
was
able
to
acquire
rights
to
license.
So
in
your
application,
there
is
a
promissory
note
and
a
pledge
back
for
that
transaction
and
Cannonball
Cafe
has
at
least
through
2031.
I
I
I
G
Nothing
further
from
me.
Thank
you.
A
T
Yes,
Madam

members
of
the

At
this
time,
the
mayor's

like
to
defer
to
the
Judgment
this
board,
as
you
heard,
from
the
applicant's
representation
and
that
with
the
Andrew
Square
civic
association,
which
is
the
local
neighborhood
association
and
receive
their
support.
We
are
unaware
of
any
concerns
at
this
time
and
with
that
we
defer
to
the
Judgment
of
this
board.
Thank
you.

This
is
a

that
will
be

over

What's
significant
about
this
is
this
is
a
sizable
development
of
five
acres.
AE
It
will
have
700
plus
residential
units
containing
more
than
1500
new
residents
in
the
buildings
it
has
over
a
thousand
parking

the

thirty
thousand
square

of

and,
more
importantly,
1.4

So
this
becomes
a
new

The

be
located
on
the

Mr

in
this

than

years.
He
started

in

prior
to
that,
he's
worked
in
the
business
literally
all
over
the

including
Russia,

and
various
parts
of
the
United

has
been

for
two

his

one
in

and
one
in

various
other
Awards
such
as

chef

Washington

yeah
you'll,
hear
from
him
himself.
In
a
moment
he
put
a
group
together
in
2010
in
Washington
DC,
where
they
operate
several
different
concepts
in
four
different
restaurants.
They
also
operate
restaurants
in
Miami
and,
interestingly
enough
in
Venice
Italy.
AE
AE
The
landlord
is
contributing
to
that
significantly.
As
you
see
in
the
application,
as
well
as
the
financial
investment
of
this
group,
we
are
proposing
that
this
restaurant,
which
will
be
full
service
for
lunch,
brunch
and
dinner,
have
operating
hours
from
11
A.M
until
2
A.M.
The
kitchen
operates
right
through
until
midnight
upon
you
know,
lost
Food
Service,
as
mentioned
we
will
serve
both
indoor
and
outdoor
at
outdoor
patio
area
has
an
earlier
closing
hour.
As
you
see
for
11
P.M.
AE
The
group
has
met
both
with
the
bonus
meeting
is
sponsored
by
The
mizafsa,
Neighborhood
Services
and
the
West
End
civic
association,
who
I
believe
you
have
the
letter
in
front
of
you
as
well
with
council
president
Flynn's
office,
who
we
expect
also
will
give
you
a
letter
of
support.
This
will
be
the
first
fine,
dining
establishment
within
that
area.
AE
It
also
kicks
off
what
is
going
to
be
a
newly
developed
section
which
had
prior
to
this,
been,
as
you
know,
a
parking
garage
and
some
other
commercial
buildings.
So
this
is
something
I
think
is
more
than
well
received
as
far
as
public
need,
for
this
license,
I
think
simply
put
as
stated
we're
expecting
that
there'll
be
at
least
1500
residents
living
in
the
buildings.
AE
The
buildings
also
have
a
common
area
on
an
upper
floor,
and
we
have
an
agreement
with
the
owner
management
of
the
building
to
supply
Foods
Etc
to
residents
for
their
meetings
and
so
forth
in
the
building.
In
addition,
there
will
be
literally
thousands
of
new
employees
of
the
various
establishments
that
will
be
in
the
1.4
million
square
feet
of
lab
and
office
space.
This
brings
a
new
Vitality
to
that
area.
AE
A
new
residents
to
that
area
in
quite
honestly,
I
am
not
aware
of
another
fine
dining
experience
within
any
short
distance
of
this,
and
that
was
reflected
in
a
meeting
with
the
West
End
civic
association.
That
overwhelmingly
were
excited
about
the
idea
of
having
a
restaurant
of
this
caliber
in
this
neighborhood
Mr
Robinson.
Who
is
on
will
give
you
his
experience
and
background.
The
business
he's
been
Associated
involved
with
the
number
of
restaurants
in
the
city
of
Boston
and
needles.
AE
To
say
he
is
a
citizen
and
a
resident
of
Massachusetts
as
well
with
that
our
members
are
present
for
any
questions
that
you
may
have
and
I
will
turn
it
back
to
the
board.
I
Thank
you
attorney
for
all
of
that
great
explanation
of
the
plans
for
this.
This
spot
Mr

I
Morning,
good
morning,
how
are
you
thank
you
for
joining
us
here,
you're
the
applicant
for
the
manager
record?
Yes,.
L
I
L
My
experience
goes
back
to
the
early
90s,
where
I
helped
put
myself
through
college
working
an
on-campus
bar
at
UMass
Amherst
and
also
in
the
90s
I
helped
build
my
City
Diner
in
the
it
open
mike
City
Diner
in
the
South
End
and
more
recently,
I
purchased
and
renovated
the
lockable
restaurant
into
Yvonne's.
I've
invested
with
that
same
group
in
Lolita
and,
most
recently
as
of
last
week,
I
helped
open
Hugh
in
the
Copley
Square
Hotel.
B
I
Are
you
familiar
with
the
rules
and
regulations
of
this
board?
The
abcc
and
the
laws
of
the
Commonwealth?
Is
they
pertain
to
the
sales
service
of
alcohol.
I
B
AE
Opening
the
first
of
these
was
opened
in
2010.
I
Oh,
you
said
that.
Thank
you,
okay,
thanks!
So
much
I
don't
have
any
other
questions.
Commissioner,
commissioner,
Saxon
I.
A
T
T
The
applicant
then
went
on
to
reach
out
to
the
West
End
civic
association,
where
they
received
a
letter
of
non-objection.
With
that
we
defer
to
the
judge
from
this
board.
Thank
you.
A
A
Are
all
the
items
before
the
board
this
morning
that
will
adjourn
this
morning's
transactional
hearing
and
again
as
a
reminder,
the
board
will
meet
to
vote
this
afternoon
at
1pm.
Thank
you
and
have
a
good
one.
