Thanks to volunteer efforts, the warehouse at 21 Drydock Ave. in the Seaport is filled with toys each year to prepare for Toys for Tots' annual toy drive. Mayor Walsh kicks off this year's mission to ensure every child in Boston has a gift to open on Christmas. Please visit toysfortots.org for more information on how to donate if you have the means.

Here at Toys for Tots since 1947, the Marine Corps has continued the mission of collecting toys and distributing toys in hopes to send a message and bring hope to less force. Less fortunate kids around America. They partner with nonprofits.

With churches, health clinics and other community institutions and resources for 71 years they've distributed over 542 million toys.

It's inspiring to see the amount of energy and effort and coordination and years of services that have gone into making Toys for Tots what it is, there's still so.
