C

We
have
one
vote
request
and
this
is
from
Thomas
Gannon
who's,
a
housing
development
officer
for
the
Neighborhood
Housing
Development
Division.
This
vote
concerns
an
amendment
to
the
vote
of
October
5th
2016
to
extend
the
tentative
designation
intent
to
sell
period
from
60
to
72
months
to
the
community
builders
incorporated.

D
D
Job
developing
designation
of
the
community
builders
for
the
eight
passes
outlined
in
this
package.
The
full
package
includes
a
comprehensive
memo
about
the
project.
Good
news,
however,
in
this
past
Tuesday
August
15th,
the
Department
of
Housing
and
Community
Development,
awarded
the
project
finally
awarded
the
project
for
state
funds
that
they
were
seeking.
This
award
will
allow
this
project
to
move
forward
to
closing
the
construction
in
the
months
to
come.
D
In
summary,
if
the
public
facilities
commission
proves
the
vote
request,
it
will
result
in
the
following
public
benefits:
creation
of
4400
rental
units,
32
of
which
shall
be
affordable
for
a
30%
homeless
units
23
units
at
60%
and
5
and
100%
of
a
market.
The
remaining
8
units
will
be
market
rate
units.
They
will
also
be
approximately
6000
square
feet
of
retail
space.
There
will
be
public
space
at
the
quarter
on
Google
Avenue
in
Quincy
Street
that
will
be
open
to
the
community
but
maintained
by
the
developer.
D
The
prodigal
revitalized
811
parcels
in
total,
including
three
parcels
that
were
quite
privately
by
the
developer
of
the
community
builders.
The
project
will
also
create
sixty
nine
thousand
three
hundred
sixty
four
construction
hours,
which
will
have
all
the
site
from
the
mayor's
office
it
drops
of
community
services.
In
addition,
by
the
sale
of
these
hey
fossils,
the
city
of
Boston
will
manually
save
approximately
six
thousand
nine
hundred
fifty
dollars
in
maintenance
costs.
And,
finally,
the
project
will
annually
generate
approximately
twenty
two
thousand
dollars
a
year
in
property
tax
payments
throughout
the
city
of
Boston.
D
D
E
We
enter
into
a
license
agreement
with
a
developer
who
takes
over
the
responsibilities
of
maintaining
and
cleaning
the
city
parcels
since
in
this
particular
case
they
have
the
abutting
parcels
and
so
forth.
So
instead
of
DND
cleaning
the
snow
off
the
sidewalk,
we
have
the
developer
official
we're
going
to
go
ahead,
start
to
do
that,
work
and
so
forth.
But
it's
more
of
a
suggestion
than
anything.
