with
non-

if
you
are
falling

phone,
please
press
star,
nine,
please
a
kind
reminder
not
to
stare
at
your
screen
while
driving.
A
A
A
The
goals
for
tonight
is
to
introduce
you
to
the
mayor's
office
of
arts
and
cultures
and
share
them
many
ways
that
public
art
happens
in
the
city.
We
want
to
learn
also
about
your
visions
and
desires
for
cultural
life
and
your
feedback
in
your
surroundings.
We
are
also
going
to
share
other
resources
and
activities
in
the
city.
A
A
A
For
this
project,
what
we
plan
is
to
completely
rebuild
the
street,
including
the
sidewalks,
the
curbs,
the
traffic
lights,
the
signs,
the
paving
of
the
streets
to
make
it
much
better
than
it
currently
is,
and
we
are
also
currently
replacing
upgrading
the
services.
As
you
see
in
these
photos,
the
budget
is
approximately
24
million
dollars
So.
It
is
a
very
large
investment
on
the
part
of
the
city
in
terms
of
security,
improvements
and
ta
As
well
as
beautification
and
investing
in
the
neighborhood.
A
As
I
mentioned,
the
collaboration
is
very,
is
a
big
part
of
these
goals.
We
want
to
achieve
awareness
and
participation
in
those
efforts
to
know
what
you
d
wants
to
know.
What
improvements
you
want
to
see
in
your
scenarios.
In
the
end,
what
we
want
to
do
is
confirm
your
vision
for
the
future
of
our
projects
and
the
future.
We
see
the
visions
we
see
for
the
City
of
Boston.
A
With
that
you
passed
it
on
to,
for
can
you
talk
about
the
office
of
arts
and
cultures?
Thank
you
as
not
everything
in
the
introduction
I'm
here
tonight
to
talk
about
the
office
of
arts
and
cultures
and
the
boston
art
commission
share
how
public
art
is
created
in
and
hear
from
you
about
your
thoughts
and
your
vision
for
the
future
of
your
cultural
life
and
public
art.
I
will
be
talking
for
a
while,
as
I
present.
A
A
A
A
In
regards
to
public
art,
specifically,
this
slide
gives
you
an
overview
of
the
work
we
do,
that
is
divided
between
commissions
and
collection,
ions,
commission
projects
include
artworks,
started
by
the
city
and
supported
by
art
and
and
community
projects
and
programs
like
the
one
where
electricity
boxes
are
turned
into
collections
that
are
part
of
owned
by
the
City
of
Boston.
There
are
also
many
collections
and
projects.
There
is
a
lot
of
maintenance
from
the
1800's
1990's.
When
this
art
program
started,
we
've
had
many
many
works
and
we
have
many
records
associated
with
these
works.
A
I
mentioned
the
Boston
art
commission
a
moment
ago.
This
B
does
is
commissions
public
art
within
the
City
of
Boston
and
is
housed
within
the
office
of
arts
and
cultures
is
the
one
who
hires
artists,
who
approves
public
art
for
city
land
and
who
curates
the
art
and
historical
collections
of
the
city,
also
maintain
the
curatorial
vision.
A
We
also
collaborate
with
other
agencies,
our
colleagues,
the
part
of
transportation
and
Public
Works,
and
demonstrates
how
the
a
rte
has
lasting
value
throughout
the
city.
Here
you
can
see
hours
of
art
that
were
commissioned
and
installed
in
the
last
year.
These
were
all
founded
by
I'm,
going
to
quickly
review
here,
three
hours
of
Arts.
A
A
A
A
A
And
that
project,
including
several
stations
and
several
well-loved
walls,
and
over
time
those
programs
were
officially
organized
into
this
transformative
public
art
program
through
their
program.
We
continue
to
commission
arts
that
are
responsible,
socially
responsible
on
the
21st.
More
than
a
few
years
were
shocked
million
dollars
worth
of
walls
all
over
the
city,
and
here
you
see
some
of
them.
Some
are
in
progress,
others
are
being
completed.
I
wo.
A
A
And
each
one
is
awarded
a
box
of
Electricity,
it's
a
favorite
annual
program
that
I
know
they
work
with
the
Boston
department
of
transportation.
Last
year,
eighty-
three
artists
were
shocked
in
this
year's
app
has
closed
and
we
look
forward
to
seeing
up
one
hundred
new
Electricity
boxes
painted
when
this
season
ends.
A
A
And
well
and
I
saved
what
better,
for
the
latter
another
very
important
way
that
public
art
happens
in
Boston
is
Through
direct
community
efforts.
Maybe
you
know
about
the
sculpture
project
at
the
Boston
branch
of
the
library,
something
that
the
friends
of
that
branch
have
been
working
on
for
a
long
time,
I
feel
very
lucky
to
be
able
to
support
this
work
and
to
achieve
its
advances
in
recent
years.
A
A
Yours
have
mentioned
so
much,
but
I
haven't
seen
any
others,
but
we
would
like
to
know
what
things
you
enjoy
in
the
city
and,
while
you
think
about
it,
we
would
like
to
Hear
more
about
what
you
think
What
does
Déjame
do
and
its
surrounding
neighborhoods
and
unique
places.
E
This
is
something
that
is
important.
While
right
now
we
are
starting
to
think
about
the
art
that
could
be
put
in
the
area.
So.
A
A
A
A
C
A
A
A
C
A
A
A
A
I
love
boxes
and
see
them
around
the
city.
I
would
like
to
see
boxes
that
show
children
I
know
that
many
of
the
artists
are
adults,
but
some
of
them
feel
more
about
playing.
What
does
it
have
to
do
with
our
children
around
the
neighborhoods
and
see
them
using
the
spaces
in
a
different
way?
I
would
love
to
see
them
in
those
boxes
again.
The
question
is
that
I
know
that
I
will
eventually
be
able
to
use
my
bicycle,
because
I
would
like
to
see
images
because
I.
A
Know
that
this
project
is
in
terms
of
how
how
people
can
navigate
through
the
spaces
and
safely,
some
of
the
more
interpretive
things
like
the
type
of
tree.
We
have
I
have
neighbors,
who
have
very
large,
rocks
in
their
backyards,
and
it
is
something
that
fascinates
me
in
terms
of
context.
Historical.
C
A
A
A
We
saw
places
where
it
would
be
great
to
have
a
wall
that
relates
to
the
fisherman
so
that
people
have
a
chance
to
see
the
architecture
and
the
space
and
people
can
give
their
thoughts
as
to
what
can
be
put
on
the
wall.
I
am
fascinated
by
many
of
the
buildings,
for
example,
from
1890
or
the
bridges
that
are
also
very
old,,
something
that
we
don't
always
want
to
know
about
bridges,
but
they
have
always
fascinated
me.
I
do
n't
know
if
there
is
a
way
to
highlight
that
to
give
the
wall
project
more
character,.
A
A
A
Partly
on
how
the
project
is
commissioned,
project
a
city
does
have
some
funds
for
conservation
and
maintenance.
In
the
times
of
the
past.
Before
my
time
with
the
office
I
know,
we
had
funds
to
revive
Like,
for
example,
in
Square
there
is
a
wall
called
the
faces
of
yes,
it
is
true
that
a
Sometimes
you
have
to
refresh
a
wall,
but
it
is
complicated
when
they
are
on
private
property,
and
at
that
time
it
is
either
the
artist
or
the
owner
to
know.
A
If
that
is
going
to
be
done,
I
know
that
I
am
not
an
expert
but
I
believe
with
the
materials
Now.
They
are
better,
the
better
they
get
protestant
paints
against
UV
Rays
And.
Then
they
tend
to
last
longer
or
more
durable
than
older
walls.
It
also
depends
on
the
surface
itself
on
how
a
response
has
been
prepared.
What
does,
it
really
mean
depends,
but
for
city
commissioned
walls
we
consider
them
long
term
art
hours,
we
don't
consider
them
short
term
or
temporary,
and
part
of
that
is
maintaining
them.
A
A
That's
something
we
can't
do
for
a
long
time.
Because.
We
don't
have
separate
funds
for
the
maintenance
of
the
conservation
of
works
of
art
very
slowly.
It
is
going
through
all
the
collection,
all
the
structures
in
the
collection.
As
for
the
walls,
it's
another
conservation
group,
but
we
can
hire
artists
to
refresh
and
it
all
depends
on
ownership.
A
Typically,
the
city
can't
provide
the
funds
for
something
that
is
privately
owned,
but
there
are
many
walls
that
exist
and
the
jobs
that
we
commission
are
available
to
us.
VIP
Austin
at
the
Boston
art
commission,
that
maintains
all
the
art
in
our
collection
that
we
have
commissioned
Well.
Now
that
you
have
saidthat
a
lot
of
the
walls
that
I
have
seen
up
to
the
ones
on
the
ones
on
that.
A
A
Well
I
am
not
an
expert
in
collections
or
in
walls,
I
work
mainly
with
hours
of
new
art,
but
we
can
follow
this
after
the
meeting
and
talk
about
the
specific
walls.
You
are
concerned
about
Yes.
This
one
has
been
used
several
times
to
represent
Boston,
but
it
is
on
one
side
or
an
apartment:
building,
Sorry
an
apartment,
building.
A
Now
I
do
n't
see
Even.
If
we
talk
about
something
No
I,
don't
know
of
any
city
property
that
they
own,
where
they
would
consider
putting
I'm
seeing
a
work
of
art.
A
Here
we
added
the
information,
a
link
with
the
information.
Sorry
It
was
already
Thank
you
for
adding
a
link
with
the
information
of
the
Wall
of
the
group
that
created
it
on
refreshment
that
was
made
was
the
mural
team
called
It
was
a
program
of
the
city
where
they
paint
many
private
properties
through
agreements
with
the
owners.
A
A
A
A
A
Owner
of
the
instructor,
all
the
beautiful
things
about
this
community
project
in
terms
of
the
other
walls
that
we
have
made
with
the
bpa,
it
is
all
by
commission,
it
does
not
have
to
be
er,
neither
city
owned
nor
privately
owned.
We
just
need
permission
from
the
property
owner.
Whoever
wants
it
to
be
done.
We
have
done
it
on
both
sides.
We
have
done
it
also
in
other
places
in
the
city,
and
many
owners
feel
very
happy
and
excited
because
it
really
adds
to
the
beauty
of
your
buildings.
A
It's
a
bit
of
a
process,
but
it
can
be
done
which
I
already
agree.
I
think
it
has
a
lot
to
do
with
the
property
owner.
If
you
feel
supported
that
people
really
want
to
see
this,
we
are
working
with
an
owner
in
Austin
to
do
a
wall
in
terms
of
living
that
is
being
installed
this
week,
And
that's
on
private
property,
but
we
can't
address
getting
an
agreement
from
a
private
owner
And.
In
this
case,
it
was
something
that
the
community
really
wanted
and
the
owner
agreed.
A
I
want
to
see
back
to
morlan.
We
are
in
the
middle
of
a
selection
for
some
basketball
courts
and
we
have
local
teams
of
fantastic
artists.
We
are
expecting
to
have
an
announcement
very
soon
as
for
more
work
on
the
courts.
I
know
it
is
another
neighborhood.
We
are
not
talking
about
baxter,
but
marvel
will
you
mentioned,
and
it
really
is
a
fantastic
project.
B
A
A
A
Thank
you
all
for
all
the
links
here.
We
are
doing
many
things.
At
the
same
time,
we
as
a
project
team,
are
very
excited
that
you
are
here
with
us.
It
is
something
that
people
have
mentioned
a
lot
times
and
there
is
a
lot
of
interest
in
how
we
can
get
more
artists
involved
in
creating
more
art
for
the
community.
As
far
as
I
am
crazy,
more
art,
more
artists,
I
encourage
you
to
sign
up
For
our
our
notifications
that
are
on
the
main
page
for
the
arts,
office
and
cultures
of
the
mayoress.
A
There
are
two
of
them
when
we
get
to
the
links.
The
presentation
It
is
a
fantastic
way
for
artists
to
learn
about
new
opportunities
and
all
the
commissions
that
we
have
talked
about.
You
can
also
follow
us
on
all
social
networks.
We
can
always
do
more
outreach,
but
we
need
artists
to
sign
up,
so
we
can
send
them
things
and
we're
very
interested
in
working
with
the
whole
local
artist
community
I.
A
A
A
A
Thinking
about
what
neighborhood
is
what
you
are
proposing,
how
those
things
are
related
is
a
fun
program,
and
it
just
reminded
me
that
I
think
it
was
Vivian
mentioned
something
that
I
thought
was
interesting,
which
is
Showing
more
children
and
more
children's
themes.
We
cannot
involve
children
in
painting
the
boxes,
because
it
is
not
the
safest
thing,
especially
for
children,
but
to
think
about
the
content.
A
A
A
A
A
A
Many
of
they
are
working
in
the
libraries
in
BC
hidrica
s
doing
school
projects.
We
have
had
involvement,
With,
kids
of
all
ages
in
the
last
year,
in
particular,
I'm
thinking
about
a
workshop
with
maybe
thirty
or
forty
kids
ages,
five
to
twelve,
where
the
artist
did
it
a
bar
of
months
ago.
It
was
a
really
lovely
thing
to
incorporate
their
artwork
from
the
children
within
their
own
new
proposal
for
the
library
really
that
scope,
that
involvement
of
the
community
is
very
important
for
all
their
projects.
A
A
A
A
A
So
no
artist
has
been
chosen.
We
are
still
many
steps
away
from
that
them
plus
me
sharing
information
about
our
office,
our
programs
and
hearing
from
you
about
this
project
to
better
understand
sometime
in
the
future.
When
we
have
capacity,
if
there
is
the
possibility
of
making
public
art
How,
would
that
look.
A
A
A
A
I
also
wanted
to
tell
you
also
shared
some
bulletins
that,
if
artists
who
are
interested
in
the
arts
in
Boston
can
sign
up,
they
can
sign
up.
We
will
put
that
information
back
in
the
chat
box
in
case
there
is
Some
projects
in
the
future
can
be
entered
in
this
way,.
There
are
also
many
projects,
many
opportunities,.
There
are
many
things
that
are
happening,
the
many
things.
A
A
We
are
finishing
our
year
of
monthly
or
almost
monthly
meetings,
focused
meetings.
We
started
last
June
and
here
we
are
in
June
talking
about
public
art.
We
continue
working
on
the
design
to
start
all
those
feedback
we
receive
both
through
this
form
and
by
talking
to
people
on
the
street,
in
open
air
markets
and
on
any
street
corner
by
emails.
Calls
everything
is
noted
down
and
considered
as
we
continue
and
advance
the
final
design
of
the
project.
A
A
We
spoke
with
people
from
the
department,
the
city
in
terms
of
heat,
resilience
and
quality.
We
have
also
seen
the
heat
resilience
study
that
the
result
was
produced
about
a
month
ago,.
We
can
also
install
air
quality,
sensors
and
I
think
that
this
data
is
now
public..
I
am
going
to
add
it
to
the
box
so
that
they
can
see
what
it
is
like
air
quality.
We
also
work
with
or
talk
to
the
boston.
Yes,
the
boston
planning
and
development
agency
on
how
land
is
used,
housing,
transportation
and
other
aspects
of
life.
A
In
september,
we
talked
about
the
street
lighting,
what
we
thought
we
collected
your
feedback,
what
you
see
as
far
as
what
you
see
elsewhere,
questions
regarding
our
what
we're
proposing
in
october,
we
work
with
the
public
health
commission,
see
where
their
work
aligns
with
our
work
in
against
street
design
and
health
in
the
short
term,
and
also
generationally
in
the
long
term.
In
January,
we
talked
about
bus
stops
and
how
the
d
we
designed
with
the
mta
to
offer
accessible
options
for
people
without
thinking
about
their
abilities.
A
In
february,
we
talked
about
the
urban
forests
plan
of
the
trees
on
the
streets,
some
of
the
things
we
already
know
about,
starting
your
trees,
guy
ideas
as
to
how
we
are
going
to
protect
those
trees
and
how
we
are
going
to
plan
for
future
masters.
In
march,
we
talked
about
traffic
intersections
how
the
city
is
going
to
manage
and
balance
the
different
modes
of
transportation
and
the
demands
of
intersections
that
use
traffic
lights.
We
also
talked.
A
About
the
beginning,
that
is
also
going
to
be
added
to
the
project.
In
opening
we
talked
about
age-friendly
Boston
and
ways.
We
can
incorporate
design
practices
into
the
project
that
supports
people
being
able
to
stay
in
place,
often
aging
in
May.
We
talked
about
disabilities
and
with
the
disabilities
commission
shares
the
work
of
many
agencies
and
the
city
to
design
for
accessibility,
systemic
ity.
We
talked
specifically
about
the
design
details
that
we
use
when
designing
a
street
and.
B
A
A
A
Also
going
to
share
all
this
so
that
people
know
How
to
communicate
with
us
and
how
to
meet
but
also
We
talk.
We
are
very
proactive
in
talking
to
people
on
the
street
So.
If
you
find
yourself
with
full
with
someone
else
on
our
team
when
you're
just
walking
down
the
hall
talking
to
people
come
closer
re
We
really
want
to
talk
to
you
more
this
summer,
we're
going
back
to
Jenny
with
resources
and
events.

A
Our
team
at
the
transportation
department
conducts
a
series
so
that
women
can
learn
to
ride
a
bike.
Recently
We
had
a
page
in
the
newspaper,
something
very
exciting.
There
is
one
of
those
events
that
is
going
to
be
done
this
thursday
and
they
do
it
for
the
whole
summer.
And
in
the
fall,
we
teach
them.
The
basics
like
Yeah
Clearly
living
on
the
street,
who
spoke
recently,
is
one
of
our
instructors
and
we
hope
she
gets
better
soon,
so
that
so
you
can
join
us
again.
We.
A
Also
mentioned
at
the
last
meeting
that
we
really
want
everyone
who
has
seen
this
mts
is
proposing
changes
to
the
bus
network
in
the
region.
There
are
a
lot
of
big
changes
and
we
want
you
to
see
it
and
be
able
to
provide
your
comments.
There
is
more
about
that
and
opportunities
on
this
next
slide.
We
have
this
interactive
map
where
you
can
see
the
proposed
changes
and
compare
your
trip
today
to
how
it
will
be
in
the
future
with
the
proposed
changes.
Please
look
at
this.
